Abstract

The World Health Organization (WHO) reports that 422 million people globally suffer from DM as of May 2020 and based on this data, Indonesia is ranked fourth with the highest number of DM sufferers after China, India and the United States. Based on the same report, it is estimated that in 2030 there will be 21.3 million DM sufferers in Indonesia. The incidence of DM in Jambi Province in the 2013 Riskesdas results was 1.2%, then increased to 1.4% in 2018. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and dietary compliance with blood sugar levels in diabetes mellitus patients at the Royal Hospital Polyclinic. Prima Jambi City. This research is a quantitative study using cross sectional research. This research was conducted at the Royal Prima Hospital, Jambi City and was carried out in August 2023. The population of this study were outpatients at the Royal Prima Hospital, Jambi City. The sampling technique was taken using an accelerated sampling technique of 85 respondents. Data processing was carried out using univariate and bivariate analysis using the Chi Square test. The research results showed that there was no significant relationship between knowledge and dietary compliance with blood sugar levels at the Royal Prima Hospital, Jambi City. It is hoped that the Royal Prima Hospital will need to provide/create an educational program for DM patients who seek treatment at the Internal Medicine Polyclinic. Abstract

Latar Belakang : Menurut WHO negara ekonomi berkembang memiliki penderita hipertensi sebesar 40 % sedangkan negara maju hanya 35%. Data Riskesdas (2018), jumlah penderita hipertensi di Indonesia sebesar 34,1%. Hipertensi dapat diobati dengan farmakologi dan nonfarmakologi, salah satu pengobatan non farmakologi adalah dengan mengkonsumsi bawang putih. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat pengaruh mengkonsumsi bawang putih terhadap penurunan tekanan darah pada pasien hipertensi di Ruang Neurologi RSUD Mayjen H.A.Thalib Kabupaten Kerinci tahun 2021. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasi eksperimen design dengan rancangan Two Group Posttest Design yang dilaksanakan pada bulan april. Populasi dalam penelitian ini semua pasien hipertensi berjumlah 93 pasien dengan jumlah sampel 16 orang dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan pengolahan data dengan t menggunakan uji t-test independen dengan tingkat kemaknaan ? = 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh bawang putih terhadap penurunan tekanan darah sistolik (p = 0,000) dan diastolik (p = 0,000). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh mengkonsumsi bawang putih terhadap penurunan tekanan darah pada pasien hipertensi, maka diharapkan kepada petugas kesehatan agar memberikan informasi kepada pasien hipertensi seperti mengkonsumsi bawang putih sebagai anti hipertensi dan mengaplikasikan pada komunitas untuk mengatasi pemasalahan hipertensi. Abstract

Hospital services are needed by everyone for their health needs. It is hoped that good service quality can grow and influence patient decisions and beliefs to use health services. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the quality of nursing services and the level of patient satisfaction in the inpatient ward of the Padang City Hospital in 2022.The type of research used is descriptive with a cross sectional research design. This research was conducted in the inpatient ward of the Padang City Hospital from November 2021 to April 2022. The population used in this study were all patients in inpatient wards 3 and 4 from August 2021 to November 2021 at the Padang City Hospital, totaling 907 patients with 90 samples with accidental sampling technique. Data was collected by means of a questionnaire. Data was processed and analyzed univariately with frequency distribution and bivariate with chi-square test.The results of the study were 50 people (55.6%) were dissatisfied in the inpatient room of the Padang City Hospital in 2022, at most 46 people (51.1%) felt that nursing services were not good in the Padang City Hospital inpatient room in 2022 and there were the relationship between nursing services and the level of patient satisfaction in the inpatient ward of the Padang City Hospital in 2022 (p = 0.036). The conclusion that there is a relationship between nursing services and the level of patient satisfaction in the inpatient ward of the Padang City Hospital in 2022, it is hoped that this research can improve the quality of nursing services such as nurses need to improve their ability to resolve patient complaints and nurses can take the time to listen to patient complaints so that people who hospitalized are satisfied with hospital nursing services. Abstract

Latar Belakang: Masalah kesehatan di sekolah pada saat ini menjadi kompleks dan bervariasi terkait dengan kesehatan peserta didik yang dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor diantaranya kondisi lingkungan sekolah dan perilaku hidup bersih sehat. Sebagian penderita tertular di luar lingkungan tempat tinggalnya, salah satunya di sekolah. Hal tersebut membuktikan bahwa kebersihan lingkungan sekolah merupakan faktor penting yang harus diperhatikan. Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui Hubungan Perilaku Hidup Bersih Sehat. Dengan kesehatan lingkungan di SDN 03 Koto Pulai Tapan 2022. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriktif analitik dengan menggunakan rancangan cross sectional studyyang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 24 mei -26 mei 2022 .di SDN 03 Koto Pulai Tapan. Pada penelitian ini yang menjadi populasi penelitian ini adalah anak SDN 03 Koto Pulai Tapan kelas IV, V, VII dengan jumlah sample 59 orang. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan tekniksimple randomsampling. Pengolahan data dengan uji Chi-square.Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan Lebih dari separoh (57,6%) Kesehatan Lingkungan tidak sehat, Lebih dari separoh (66,1%) Pengetahuan Phbs rendah, Lebih dari separoh (61%) Sikap PHBS kurang baik, Lebih dari separoh (66,1%) Tindakan Phbs kurang baik. Ada Hubungan Pengetahaun Prilaku Hidup Bersih Dan Sehat (PHBS) Dengan Kesehatan Lingkungan dengan p value = 0,001, Ada Hubungan Sikap Prilaku Hidup Bersih Dan Sehat (Phbs) Dengan Kesehatan dengan p value = 0,000, Ada Tindakan Prilaku Hidup Bersih Dan Sehat (Phbs) Dengan Kesehatan Lingkungan dengan p value = 0,000. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat di simpulkan bahwa ada hubungan Prilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) dengan Kesehatan Lingkungan. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai acuan dan data dasar untuk peneliti selanjutnya dengan judul yang sama namun variabel berbeda. Kata Kunci : Lingkungan , PHBS,Siswa

Abstract

Caregivers of patients with severe mental illness often experience physical and emotional burdens that impact their quality of life. This study aims to identify the sociodemographic factors that most significantly influence the quality of life of caregivers. This analytical study involved 114 caregivers selected through accidental sampling from a population of from a population of 2,189 individuals. Bivariate and multivariate linear regression analyses were conducted to evaluate the influence of various characteristics on caregivers' quality of life. Multivariate analysis results indicated that educational level (p = 0.046; B = 1.061) and age (p = 0.000; B = -0.514) had significant relationships with caregiver quality of life. The conclusion is that educational level is the dominant factor influencing caregiver quality of life. Education-based interventions can be an important strategy for improving their quality of life.

Abstract

Cancer treatment is currently carried out in various ways according to the stage of cancer diagnosed by the doctor. One of the cancer treatments is combination chemotherapy. Chemotherapy given to breast cancer patients is 5-fluorouracil combination chemotherapy, which can damage the basal epithelial cell layer directly, causing death of clonogenic cells, mucosal atrophy and ulceration called oral mucositis. Oral mucositis will be influenced by various things, namely high doses, age, gender, type of chemotherapy drug, repeated chemotherapy schedules (chemotherapy cycles), poor nutritional status, plus oral hygiene conditions. The purpose of this study was to determine the frequency distribution of oral mucositis characteristics of breast cancer patients with 5-fluorouracil combination chemotherapy. The research method is descriptive with consecutive sampling. The sample obtained was 45 people. The results of the study showed that the frequency distribution with the most age characteristics in the early elderly, almost all were diagnosed with stage, less than half underwent the 5th chemotherapy cycle and more than half had normal nutritional status, and more than half of breast cancer patients with 5-fluorouracil combination chemotherapy with mild oral mucositis. The suggestion of this study is that nurses in the chemotherapy room can provide education on the management of oral mucositis with nursing modalities such as cryotherapy

Abstract

Menurut World Health Organization (WHO), Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) merupakan penyakit dengan prevalensi yang terus meningkat setiap tahunnya. Dari data 10 penyakit terbanyak di RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang, Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) menempati urutan ke-3 dengan jumlah kasus sebanyak 543 kasus pada tahun 2023 dan merupakan penyakit dengan urutan ke-4 di ruang rawat inap interne RSUP Dr. M. Djamil pada tahun 2023 dengan jumlah kasus sebanyak 166 kasus. Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) adalah kelainan pada ginjal yang terjadi akibat kelainan fungsi atau struktur ginjal, terganggunya kemampuan tubuh dalam mempertahankan metabolisme sehingga menyebabkan uremia. Tujuan studi kasus ini untuk menganalisa dan mengaplikasikan asuhan keperawatan pada pasien dengan Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) meliputi pengkajian, diagnosa, intervensi, implementasi, evaluasi, dan dokumentasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam Karya Tulis Ilmiah ini yaitu menggunakan metode studi kasus yang dilakukan di Ruang Rawat Inap Interne Pria Wing A RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang pada Tanggal 01-05 Maret 2024 pada 1 orang pasien. Diagnosa keperawatan yang ditemukan pada Tn. M yaitu pola napas tidak efektif, perfusi perifer tidak efektif, nyeri akut, hipervolemia, nausea, dan risiko ketidakseimbangan cairan. Intervensi dijabarkan dan evaluasi hasil didapatkan dari implementasi yang dilakukan. Disimpulkan dari diagnosa keperawatan yang didapatkan pada Tn. M 4 masalah teratasi yakni diagnosa pola napas tidak efektif, nyeri akut, nausea, dan risiko ketidakseimbangan cairan dan 2 masalah teratasi sebagian yakni hipervolemia dan perfusi perifer tidak efektif. Dengan ini diharapkan hasil studi kasus ini dijadikan sumber informasi dan pegetahuan bagi pasien maupun keluarga pasien tentang penyakit Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) sehingga klien dan keluarga dapat mengetahui berbagai resiko yang terjadi serta pengobatan yang mungkin didapatkan.

Abstract

Various water quality pollutions have had a negative impact on children's health. One of the pollution that commonly occurs in urban and rural environments is the use of pesticides in agricultural environments. Pesticides are made for the specific purpose of causing harm (to insects, rodents, and other pests), they have the potential to cause serious damage to a developing fetus. Another cause that causes the environmental quality to decline, especially the air environment, is the bad behavior of the community in consuming cigarettes. This research method uses descriptive techniques, which describes how Environmental quality affects public health, especially in the impact of stunting among children under five. Environmental quality and community behavior will determine the health status of the community. Furthermore, a person's health status will affect the quality of life and productivity which in turn will affect their welfare. The existence of environmental pollution from various toxic chemicals such as excessive use of pesticides in the environment results in disturbances in infant growth and in early childhood. In addition, an increase in cigarette consumption of about two percent has been replaced by a decrease in expenditure on rice, protein and fat sources, as well as education. Household expenditure on meat and fish decreased by around 2.3 percent during 2012-2023. Yet, as many studies have shown, this type of expenditure will profoundly influence the future development of children in terms of weight, height and cognitive abilities.

Abstract

Hipertensi dan komplikasi penyakit hipertensi memegang peran menyumbang kematian sebanyak 9,4 juta di setiap tahunnya di seluruh dunia sehingga diperlukan penanganan serius dalam menekan angka kejadian hipertensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pemberian kulit kayu manis terhadap tekanan darah penderita hipertensi di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kumun Kota Sungai Penuh. Desain penelitian ini adalah Quasi Experiment dengan rancangan Non Equivalent Control Group dengan 20 orang sampel, 10 orang kelompok eksperimen dan 10 orang kelompok kontrol. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah sphygmomanometer dan stetoskop. Data dianalisis menggunakan t-test. Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan bahwasanya terdapat pengaruh pemberian kulit kayu manis terhadap tekanan darah penderita hipertensi p value = 0,000. Saran dari penelitian ini adalah agar pihak Puskesmas menjadi lebih aktif lagi dalam melakukan edukasi kepada masyarakat terkait pengendalian dan kontrol terhadap tekanan darah.

Abstract

The community service program titled "Strengthening Families in the Digital Era: Digital Life Balance Program in Kanagarian Gadut, Tilatang Kamang District, Agam Regency" aims to enhance parents' understanding of balanced digital technology use within families. The program addresses the impacts of gadget use on the physical, mental, and social health of children and adolescents. The program employed various methods, including psychoeducation, focus group discussions, counseling, and hands-on practice with parents and children. Results indicated a significant increase in participants' understanding of balanced technology use, as evidenced by improved pre-test and post-test scores, along with positive feedback from attendees. Parents particularly valued the practical strategies provided for managing gadget use within the family. By utilizing participatory methods, the program successfully engaged the community and offered new insights into the importance of maintaining a balance between digital and non-digital life in the modern era.
