Abstract

The return to face-to-face learning after the COVID-19 pandemic presents new challenges in developing the affective domain among prospective Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers. This study investigates how direct classroom interaction influences affective competence and identifies obstacles lecturers face in enhancing this domain. A qualitative approach was used, involving 52 PAI students and eight lecturers from two state Islamic higher education institutions in Banten. Data collection methods included questionnaires, semi-structured interviews, and document analysis. The data were examined using thematic analysis supported by simple descriptive statistics. Findings reveal that 81% of student participants experienced increased motivation and emotional engagement due to direct interaction with lecturers. This interaction fostered core affective qualities such as empathy, respect, and appreciation. Despite these positive outcomes, the study identified inconsistencies in lecturers’ application of affective-based teaching strategies, highlighting a gap in pedagogical effectiveness. The results underscore the importance of face-to-face interaction in supporting emotional and value-based learning. However, the variability in instructional delivery indicates a need for structured efforts to equip lecturers with strategies for affective education. To strengthen the affective domain in post-pandemic education, targeted professional development programs are essential. Enhancing lecturers’ competencies in affective pedagogy will better prepare PAI students to become empathetic and emotionally intelligent educators.

Abstract

This study examines the learning of the Kitab al arobiyatun lin nasyiin juz 1 using the storytelling method at the Darul Falah 5 Cukir Islamic Boarding School, Diwek Jombang. The formulation of the problem in this study is 1) how is the learning of the Kitab al arobiyatun lin nasyiin juz 1using the storytelling in the Darul Falah 5 Cukir Islamic Boarding School in Jombang? 2) How is the study of Kitab al arobiyatun lin nasyiin juz 1 using the storytelling method at the Darul Falah 5 Cukir Islamic Boarding School, Diwek Jombang? 3) what are the advantages and disadvantages of learning Kitab al arobiyatun lin nasyiin juz 1 using the storytelling method at the Darul Falah Islamic boarding school 5 Cukir Diwek Jombang. This research method uses descriptive qualitative methods, data collection from this research is observation, interviews, and documentation then analyzed into a descriptive qualitative method. data that can be presented according to research results. The results of the research examine the learning of the Kitab al arobiyatun lin nasyiin using the storytelling method at the Darul Falah Islamic boarding school 5 Cukir Diwek Jombang, namely the learning of the Kitab al arobiyatun linnasyiin is learning that teaches material and exercises about Arabic. This book has several volumes including volumes 1 to 6. Volumes of itab al arobiyatun linnasyiin are taught according to the students being taught, from basic knowledge of Arabic to the book of al arobiyatun linnasyiin volume 6. learning the book al arobiyatun linnasyiin juz 1 at the Darul Falah 5 Islamic boarding school using the method storytelling The learning system that is carried out is to first provide the existing material then students are allowed to ask which material is not clear and ask for meanings that are not yet known then the teacher invites students to take the essence or material that was understood using Arabic after that the teacher appoints several children to come forward in front of the class to present the results and the other assignments are collected to be corrected by the teacher. learning the Kitab al arobiyatun linnasyiin using juz 1 the storytelling method at the Darul Falah 5 Islamic boarding school has several advantages, namely it can be followed by a large number of students, the teacher controls the class, the implementation is easy, trains students to recognize new vocabulary quickly, understands material with a long period of time and practice writing and speaking skills. The storytelling method has drawbacks, namely the evaluation of the learning process is difficult to control because there are no clear achievement points and this method takes a lot of time while learning only lasts for 1 hour so that students are less focused on stories made in haste.

Abstract

Industri mebel di Desa Alaskandang Besuk menunjukkan perkembangan yang signifikan dalam beberapa tahun terakhir. UD Mebel Barokah Tohak sebagai salah satu pelaku usaha di bidang ini terus berupaya meningkatkan daya saingnya melalui pengembangan kreativitas dalam desain produk dan penerapan inovasi pada proses produksi serta pemasaran. Namun, fenomena yang terjadi adalah belum jelasnya pengaruh kreativitas dan inovasi tersebut terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen, yang menjadi faktor penting dalam keberlangsungan usaha. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kreativitas dan inovasi terhadap keputusan pembelian pada UD Mebel Barokah Tohak di Desa Alaskandang Besuk. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan survei dan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 30 karyawan UD Mebel Barokah Tohak. Data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan software SPSS versi 22. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel kreativitas tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, sedangkan variabel inovasi memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan. Secara simultan, kreativitas dan inovasi berkontribusi sebesar 53,8% terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen di UD Mebel Barokah Tohak. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi bahwa fokus peningkatan inovasi lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan keputusan pembelian dibandingkan dengan kreativitas semata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa inovasi memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dan positif terhadap keputusan pembelian, artinya penerapan ide-ide baru dalam proses produksi dan pemasaran mampu meningkatkan minat konsumen untuk membeli produk UD Mebel Barokah Tohak. Sebaliknya, kreativitas tidak menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, yang mengindikasikan bahwa kemampuan menciptakan desain unik belum cukup menjadi faktor penentu utama dalam pengambilan keputusan konsumen. Secara simultan, kedua variabel ini memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the understanding of Arabic vocabulary among fifth-grade students at MI Darul Ulum, Probolinggo Regency, through the drill method. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design following Kemmis and McTaggart’s two-cycle model, involving 25 students (n=25). Data were collected through observations, vocabulary tests, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively. Quantitative data were drawn from vocabulary test scores, while qualitative analysis examined student motivation and participation. In Cycle I, only 8 students (32%) achieved the minimum completeness criterion (KKM) with a mean score of 64.3. After revising instructional activities in Cycle II, 13 students (52%) met the KKM and the mean score increased to 72.6. In Cycle III, 22 students (88%) achieved mastery with an average score of 83.4, reflecting a consistent improvement in vocabulary understanding and engagement. The findings indicate that the drill method demonstrated a consistent improvement in students’ Arabic vocabulary mastery. Data triangulation across tests, observations, and interviews ensured reliability. The study provides practical implications for Arabic instruction, highlighting structured repetition and active participation as effective strategies to enhance vocabulary learning outcomes.

Abstract

Implementation of curriculum 2013 closely connected to the teachers and other education personnel, such as clerical, laboratory assistants, technicians and librarians. In order to run properly, then the headmaster should give guidance on the performance of teachers and other education personnel. supervision is a monitoring the activities of a specific nature, which has run the program and supervision not only supervise but provide help repair problems and motivate teachers to perform tasks better. It is the implementation of the activities of the Arabic language, both in the MI, MTs, and MA. However, there are still problems, it can not be separated from a variety of reasons including: 1) the educational background of late headmaster 2) lack of experience headmaster, and 3) the Arabic language teacher education is not in accordance with the qualifications of teaching subjects. At the end of the head of the educational reality MI, MTs, and MA is undergraduate (S1), little has been completed the graduate program (S2) with a major in almost all Islamic education and there is also that of other religious majors even exist that of the general department. Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis relasi antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, kedisiplinan kejuruan, dan penguatan karakter religius di SMKN 1 Lamongan. Latar belakang penelitian berangkat dari kebutuhan pendidikan vokasi tidak hanya menghasilkan lulusan yang kompeten secara teknis, tetapi juga berkarakter religius dan berintegritas. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus, melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan telaah dokumentasi. Informan penelitian meliputi kepala sekolah, guru Pendidikan Agama Islam, guru kejuruan, tenaga kependidikan, dan siswa yang aktif dalam kegiatan keagamaan sekolah.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berperan sebagai motor penggerak budaya religius melalui keteladanan dalam ibadah, kultum, dan interaksi harian yang inspiratif. Kebijakan sekolah, seperti penerapan buku saku SAKTI dan Gerakan 5S, menyediakan kerangka formal untuk mewujudkan visi kepemimpinan dalam regulasi praktis. Internalisasi nilai religius dilakukan melalui kegiatan rutin, antara lain salat berjamaah, tradisi salim, kultum, dan refleksi Jumat pagi, yang secara efektif mengubah aturan menjadi kebiasaan nyata. Proses ini berdampak langsung pada kedisiplinan kejuruan siswa yang tercermin dalam ketepatan waktu, kerapian, kepatuhan pada aturan, serta keteraturan dalam praktik vokasi. Pada akhirnya, relasi antarvariabel bermuara pada terbentuknya karakter religius siswa, yang mencakup sikap amanah, hormat, solidaritas, dan tanggung jawab. Kesimpulan penelitian ini merumuskan model relasi: Kepemimpinan → Kebijakan → Internalisasi → Disiplin → Karakter Religius, yang dapat menjadi acuan bagi penguatan pendidikan karakter berbasis religius di sekolah kejuruan Indonesia. ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the relationship between principal leadership, vocational discipline, and the strengthening of religious character at SMKN 1 Lamongan. The research is grounded in the growing demand for vocational education not only to produce technically competent graduates but also individuals of integrity and strong religious values. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed, utilizing in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. The participants included the school principal, Islamic education teachers, vocational subject teachers, administrative staff, and students actively engaged in religious activities. The findings reveal that the principal’s leadership serves as the driving force behind the development of a religious school culture, demonstrated through role modeling in daily prayers, short sermons, and spiritually oriented interactions. School policies, such as the implementation of the SAKTI pocketbook (Saku Adab, Akhlak, dan Budi Pekerti) and the 5S Movement (Smile, Greeting, Salutation, Politeness, Courtesy), provide a formal framework for translating the principal’s vision into practice. The internalization of religious values is fostered through routine activities including congregational prayers, the salim tradition (showing respect to teachers by hand-kissing), short religious talks, and Friday reflection sessions. These practices transform regulations into habitual behaviors. Consequently, vocational discipline emerges, reflected in punctuality, neatness, adherence to rules, and systematic practice in vocational training. Ultimately, the interplay of these variables leads to the formation of students’ religious character, encompassing trustworthiness, respect, solidarity, and responsibility. The study concludes with a relational model: Leadership → Policy → Internalization → Discipline → Religious Character, which may serve as a reference for strengthening religious-based character education in vocational schools in Indonesia

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has affected various aspects of human life throughout the world. Since its appearance in early 2020, this virus has caused some people in the world to experience shock and disruption in various aspects of life. Apart from that, the impact of this pandemic has also greatly influenced the educational aspect where almost all countries require the teaching and learning process to be carried out online or online. This condition is very worrying and makes it possible for economically disadvantaged students to think about it Drop out from campus due to economic problems. Meanwhile, it is difficult for them to meet their daily needs, plus the internet quota costs are not cheap to participate in all the online learning activities required by the campus. Therefore, we are trying to create a service program entitled Training Life Skills for Students Affected by COVID-19 in Serang City. Development implementation methods life skills This method uses Education for Sustainable Development (EfSD). The stages of training activities provided to students affected by COVID-19 in the city start with field observations, program outreach, training & workshops, to visits carried out by students. Based on the results of this service, students in the city of Serang can make optimal use of life skills training and can carry out follow-up plans and readiness for continued assistance. Abstract

Amidst the ever-evolving wave of technology and the complexity of student needs, teachers must be equipped with relevant skills and knowledge to provide effective learning experiences. Learning management plays a central role in upholding the quality of education in schools, and the use of appropriate strategies is crucial in this context. This research aims to analyze research-based learning management strategies to enhance teacher competence in schools. The research method employed is a qualitative literature review aimed at community service, particularly in the context of its relevance to teacher competence in schools. Data used were obtained from Google Scholar searches spanning from 2008 to 2023. The study findings indicate that by enhancing teacher competence through the application of research-based learning management strategies, schools can create an environment conducive to the sustainable professional development of teachers. This approach combines management principles with research methods to identify needs, design appropriate training programs, and continuously evaluate their effectiveness. Despite its significant potential, challenges such as resource limitations and contextual factors need to be addressed for successful implementation.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the local wisdom of traditional medicine in the OMU Village Community, Gumbasa District, Sigi Regency The problem of the research is: How is the local wisdom of traditional medicine that utilizes types of traditional medicinal plants, what are the forms of community participation in preserving traditional medicine. The type of research used is qualitative research using a descriptive approach to data collection techniques in the form of observation, instruments, interviews,, and documentation. The results of the research are that the people of Omu Village still believe in traditional medicine as local wisdom which is still maintained to this day. Some of the medicinal plants used to cure diseases are still classified as herbal, namely turmeric, papaya leaves, moringa leaves, sweet potatoes, jatropha leaves, soursop leaves, ginger, Javanese wood, tempting leaves, galangal,, and guava leaves. The parts of the plant used as medicine are 6 leaves (54.5%), 3 rhizomes (27.3%), 1 stem (9.1%), and bark (9.1 %).

Abstract

Pelatihan yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan kemandirian belajar siswa SMP di Kabupaten Bandung Barat berhasil menunjukkan hasil positif dan dampak signifikan dalam pengembangan keterampilan belajar mandiri siswa. Proses pelatihan dimulai dengan identifikasi kebutuhan siswa, diikuti dengan perancangan kurikulum yang mencakup keterampilan manajemen waktu, teknik pencarian informasi, dan penggunaan teknologi. Pelaksanaan workshop interaktif dan sesi praktik memungkinkan siswa untuk mengalami kemajuan dalam merencanakan dan mengelola pembelajaran mereka secara mandiri. Penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran memberikan kontribusi penting, dengan siswa menunjukkan peningkatan dalam kemampuan digital mereka. Meskipun tantangan seperti ketergantungan pada bimbingan eksternal masih ada, dukungan dan bimbingan dari fasilitator terbukti efektif dalam membantu siswa mengatasi kesulitan. Hasil refleksi siswa menunjukkan kesiapan dan motivasi yang lebih tinggi untuk belajar secara mandiri. Langkah-langkah tindak lanjut yang diusulkan, termasuk pemantauan berkelanjutan dan dukungan tambahan, sangat penting untuk memastikan keberlanjutan pengembangan kemandirian belajar
