Abstract

Siswa yang aktif belajar akan menunjukkan keterlibatannya di dalam proses bimbingan yang diberikan Guru BK. Namun sebaliknya, siswa yang tidak aktif belajar dalam proses bimbingan akan ditunjukkan rendahnya keterlibatan dalam proses bimbingan. Kenyataannya, keaktifan siswa masih tergolong rendah. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan kurangnya keterlibatan siswa dalam mempersiapkan mengikuti proses bimbingan dan konseling. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperbaiki penerapan metode jigsaw sehingga dapat ditemukan cara yang paling efektif dan efisien untuk meningkatkan keaktifan siswa. Penelitian ini dibatasi pada permasalahan Penerapan Metode Jigsaw Untuk Meningkatkan Keaktifan Siswa di SMA Negeri 3 Kota Jambi. Metode Jigsaw adalah metode pembelajaran kooperatif dimana siswa membentuk kelompok kecil dimana siswa memiliki ketergantungan dan saling bekerja sama serta memiliki tanggung jawab untuk mempelajari materi bagiannya masing-masing. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Layanan (PTL) dengan penerapan metode jigsaw. Subjek penelitian ini siswa/siswi sebanyak 8 orang siswa berdasarkan ketentuan dari Guru BK dengan kriteria antara lain siswa yang belum melakukan aktifitas belajar seperti berpendapat, bertanya, menjawab dan terlibat secara penuh dalam proses bimbingan yang diberikan Guru BK. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan wawancara. Penelitian dilakukan sebanyak 3 siklus. Berdasarkan hasil yang didapat setelah pelaksanaan siklus satu (I) maka peningkatan keaktifan siswa terjadi sebanyak 53%, kemudian pada pelaksanaan siklus dua (II) peningkatan keaktifan siswa terjadi sebanyak 60% sedangkan pada siklus ketiga (III) peningkatan keaktifan siswa terjadi sebanyak 86%. Hendaknya setelah dilakukan perbaikan dalam tindakan ini dapat meningkatkan keaktifan siswa dengan metode jigsaw di mana siswa mampu lebih mengekspresikan dirinya kepada orang lain, lebih aktif dan dapat efektif lagi menjalani kehidupan sehari-harinya.

Abstract

In the world of education, plagiarism can be said to be part of academic work in an institution, one of which is done by many students accidentally or unintentionally. In general, in making theses, students often use the same references, one of the variables is the title of the thesis that has something in common, imitating research methods, and some students even just change the place and subject of research with the same topic. This research is limited to existing problems, while the limitations of the problem in this research are theses that have similar content, have similar references, have similar titles, and this research is only limited to the thesis of Guidance and Counseling students who have completed IS Studies at University 2016-2017 Jambi, the purpose of this research is to find out what types of plagiarism are in the thesis of Guidance and Counseling Students who have completed IS Studies in 2016-2017 University of Jambi. The type of research used was library research, the subject of this research was 20 undergraduate thesis students of the Guidance and Counseling Study Program, Faculty of Teaching and Education, Jambi University in 2016-2017 whose thesis had the same title, the data collection methods used by researchers included observation and documentation. Based on the results of research that has been conducted by researchers, checking 20 student thesis Guidance and Counseling Study Program Jambi University in 2016-2017 through the Turnitin application, it can be concluded that only 17 theses can be used as a reference, 6 theses have a moderate Similarity index and 11 theses have a Similarity index total and there is plagiarism in CHAPTER I, CHAPTER II, CHAPTER III, CHAPTER IV and CHAPTER V, based on 4 types of plagiarism namely idea plagiarism, content plagiarism, plagiarism of words, sentences, paragraphs and total plagiarism, dominant students plagiarism in the category of idea plagiarism and plagiarism of words, sentences, and paragraphs

Abstract

This study aims to reveal how big the percentage of the ability to manage emotions and concentration in learning, as well as the influence of the ability to manage emotions on the concentration of students in SMA Negeri 3 Jambi City. Concentration of learning, namely the ability of students to focus on thoughts and actions during the learning process by setting aside unrelated things. The ability to manage emotions is the ability of individuals to handle their emotions so that they can be expressed appropriately and do not interfere with their activities. This type of research is quantitative with the ex post facto method of data collection techniques, namely using a questionnaire with validity and reliability tests to determine the determination of the instrument. The data analysis technique used Formula C, normality test, linearity test, simple regression analysis with the help of SPSS 25. The sampling technique used stratified random sampling with a total sample of 266 students of class X and XI. The findings of this study can be concluded that in general the ability to manage students' emotions includes recognizing emotions, knowing the causes of emotions, being able to find alternative ways of dealing with emotions, being able to determine how to deal with emotions, emotions expressed appropriately are at a moderate percentage (59%), student learning concentration which includes concentrating, paying attention and carrying out learning according to the objectives is at a moderate percentage (57%). The influence between the two variables is classified as quite strong (23.2%). Guidance and counseling teachers should be able to assist students in maintaining and improving their ability to manage their emotions so that student learning concentration can also be even better.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media videoscribe pada bimbingan klasikal materi remaja hidup sehat di SMP N 12 Kota Jambi secara valid, praktis dan efektif. Adapun pengembangan media ini menggunakan tahapan kerangka ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implimentation, evaluation). Dari uji validasi materi dan media didapatkan bahwa media videoscribe dengan materi remaja hidup sehat dapat dinyatakan valid setelah merevisi media sesuai dengan saran masukan dari validator. Pada tahap ­one-to-one, small group evaluation, dan field test evaluation media dinyatakan praktis melalui tanggapan peserta didik. Pada tahap one-to-one dari hasil tanggapan peserta didik tersebut media videoscribe dengan materi remaja hidup sehat dapat dikatakan baik, tahap small group tahap ini didapatkan hasil kepraktisan 88.35% dengan kategori cukup dan dapat dikatakan praktis, field test evaluation didapatkan nilai rata-rata kepraktisan media videoscribe sebesar 86.72 % (kategori baik). Uji pemahaman media dengan diberikan tes materi layanan bimbingan pada tahap field test evaluation didapatkan rata-rata nilai 84.5 (kategori baik). Dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media videoscribe dengan materi remaja hidup sehat tergolong valid, praktis, dan efektif. Sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai media dalam pemberian layanan bimbingan klasikal di sekolah.

Abstract

Recently, there has been a stigma that children who grow up from single parents are naughty, controlled and carry other negative meanings. Parenting style is very influential in the formation of children's character, one of which is in the formation of independent behavior in children. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of behavioral independence in children and differences in the influence of single parenting styles on behavioral independence in children. Meanwhile, the intended behavior independence is changes in decision-making, changes in susceptibility to the influence, and changes in feeling of self-relience. This type of research is a comparative quantitative research with a total sample of 70 respondents obtained from sampling using purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique used in this study was a questionnaire and the data analysis technique used was the one way ANOVA test and the independent t-test. Based on the research, it was found that democratic parenting was more dominantly applied in child rearing with an average level of 73.98%, while the average level of behavior independence in adolescents was 63.64% and included in the medium category. Based on the one way ANOVA test conducted, the asomtatic asignificance value was 0.08 <0.05 so that it can be interpreted that there is a difference in independence in adolescents when viewed from single parent parenting in Telanaipura District. Furthermore, from the results of the independent t-test, it was found that children with democratic parenting styles had the highest level of independence in behavior when compared to other parenting styles.

Abstract

Stress merupakan bagian dari psikologis yang dapat dialami setiap individu. Dalam menghadapi berbagai situasi yang mengancam, dapat muncul reaksi psikologis maupun fisiologis sebagai respon terhadap stres. Stress dapat diartikan sebagai tekanan, ketegangan, atau gangguan yang tidak menyenangkan yang berasal dari luar diri seseorang. Tidak hanya orang dewasa bahkan usia sekolah pun dapat mengalami stres. Stress yang dialami oleh siswa terhadap aktivitas atau situasi di sekolah dapat disebut stress akademik. Stress akademik bersumber dari proses belajar mengajar atau hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan kegiatan belajar yang meliputi tekanan untuk naik kelas, lama belajar, banyaknya tugas, mendapatkan nilai ulangan, serta kecemasan menghadapi ujian dan manajemen waktu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat stress akademik siswa SMP Negeri 19 Kota Jambi dalam lima kategori, yaitu tidak stress, stress ringan, stress sedang, stress berat, dan stress sangat berat. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Populasi yang diteliti adalah Siswa Kelas VII SMP Negeri 19 Kota Jambi yang berjumlah 238 orang. Sedangkan sampel yang diteliti adalah sebanyak 70 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket atau kuesioner dengan lima alternatif jawaban. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis rumus presentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata skor stress akademik siswa SMP Negeri 19 Kota Jambi adalah 39,2 atau sebesar 49,1%. Jumlah siswa dengan kategori stress sangat berat adalah sebanyak 1 orang, stress berat sebanyak 12 orang, stress sedang sebanyak 37 orang, stress ringan sebanyak 17 orang, dan tidak stress sebanyak 3 orang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 19 Kota Jambi yang masuk dalam kategori tidak mengalami stress akademik adalah sebesar 4,29%, stress akademik ringan adalah sebesar 24,29%, stress akademik sedang adalah sebesar 52,86%, stress akademik berat adalah sebesar 17,14%, stress akademik sangat berat adalah sebesar 1,43%.

Abstract

Abstract Further studies are continuing schools of higher education a connection after graduating from a current higher education or school. Many factors cause students to decide not to continue their studies, namely external and internal factors. This study aims to reveal the effect of advanced study information services on students' interest in entering college in class XII at SMA Negeri 8 Muaro Jambi. The population in this study of class XII at SMA Negeri 8 Muaro Jambi. This sample was taken using a purposive sampling technique 30 students of class XII at SMA Negeri 8 Muaro Jambi This type of research is quantitative with a pre-experimental approach. The results of this study indicate that in general the interest in entering college of class XII students before being given treatment is at a moderate level with a percentage of 55.41%, which means that the interest of these students needs to be increased. And also in general the interest in entering college of class XII students after being given treatment is at a high level with a percentage of 72.59%, which means there is an increase in students' interest in going to college. The results also show that based on the results of hypothesis testing, it is known that the significance value is 0.000 <0.05 and the value of Tcount > Ttable or 6.128 > 2.042. It can be concluded that information services for advanced studies have an effect on increasing interest in entering college for class XII students at SMA Negeri 8 Muaro Jambi.

Abstract

In the teaching and learning process there are obstacles that are difficult for students to overcome which can cause stress in learning due to the inability of students to absorb or understand learning material at school, so that it requires appropriate stress coping strategies. The phenomenon of coping with stress in schools is the emergence of maladaptive student behavior such as difficulties in doing assignments, students often leave during class hours for no apparent reason, and create a noisy atmosphere in class. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and coping with stress in learning for class VIII students of SMPN 10 Jambi City. This type of research is quantitative research with correlational research methods. The sampling technique used simple random sampling with a total of 141 students as respondents. Analysis of research data using a correlation test with a significance level of 0.05. Retrieval of data in this study using the coping stress scale and emotional intelligence scale. The subjects of this study were class VIII students of SMPN 10 Jambi City. Data collection tools used are observation, interviews and questionnaires. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires consisting of 35 items, namely 20 items of emotional intelligence and 15 items of coping with stress. The results of the reliability test on each scale are 0.750 on the coping stress scale and 0.800 on the emotional intelligence scale. The analysis technique used is pearson correlation. Pearson correlation test results obtained rxy = 0.506 with a significance level or p of 0.000. Because the p value < 0.05, the pattern of relationship between the variables of emotional intelligence and coping stress in class VIII students' learning is accepted, meaning that there is a relationship between the variables of emotional intelligence and coping stress in class VIII students

Abstract

The background of this research is that students spend more than 4 hours playing online mobile legends (ML) games a day. From the information obtained, students say that during certain lessons or certain teachers they will look for opportunities to play online games while the teacher is explaining the material, this is because students do not understand the material they are studying and it is very difficult for students to be able to concentrate when their minds are focused. on online games. This study aims to determine the effect of the intensity of playing online games on students' learning concentration. So that this research does not deviate from what is meant, it is limited in the intensity of playing online games seen from the length of access, psychological conditions and the purpose of playing. Meanwhile, the concentration of learning is limited from focusing attention, changing behavior, carrying out learning according to the objectives. This type of research is quantitative ex post facto. The population in this study were 50 students of class XI at Revany Indra Putra Vocational School, Jambi City, using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis tools and techniques used the normality test, linearity test and simple regression analysis through SPSS 24. The results showed that the influence of the intensity of playing online games was categorized as high with a percentage of 70.84%, while learning concentration was in the medium category with a percentage of 58.75. %, as well as the influence of the intensity of playing online games on student learning concentration obtained in this study, namely 0.101 or 10.1%. This study shows a low but definite effect between the intensity of playing online games on the concentration of students at Revany Indra Putra Vocational School, Jambi City.
