Abstract

The development of information technology today has reached all aspects of people's lives. Currently, the form of information technology application that is in great demand by the public is a smartphone. Technology has an important role in everyday life and uses it in various aspects of life, for example today many are using technology in learning to find information about work with smartphones. Social studies teachers at SMP Negeri 13 Banjarmasin in general still apply conventional learning methods in the process of teaching and learning activities. Conventional methods and media provided by teachers in learning can be seen when teachers only use whiteboards as learning media and lecture methods or simple discussions in teaching and learning activities. This study used qualitative research methods. This method is used to understand and describe phenomena that occur in the field, namely at SMP Negeri 13 Banjarmasin. in this way can explain in depth what happened in the field by using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. The reason teachers are unable to develop instructional media, especially using smartphones, is because of their limited ability in the field of computer technology and assume that developing instructional media is a time-consuming and complicated activity. There are various uses of smartphones by social studies teachers such as smartphones as a tool for finding learning media, smartphones as a tool for accessing online learning media, and smartphones as a tool for developing learning media. So that learning that takes place using technological media is very supportive of learning and is something that is needed in increasing students' learning interest.

Abstract

Kearifan lokal adalah kebiasaan dan tingkah laku masyarakat yang dianggap baik dan cara hidup dan pengetahuan yang dipelihara oleh masyarakat. Kehidupan petani yang ada di Desa Anjir Serapat Muara masih tradisional. Masyarakat desa Anjir Serapat Muara termasuk petani tradisional, karena mereka masih menggunakan alat-alat dan kebiasaan tradisional dalam pelaksanaan pertanian. Masyarakat desa Anjir Serapat Muara tidak bisa menggunakan alat modern karena faktor dilahan sawah mereka mengalami pasang surut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kearifan lokal petani padi yang ada di desa Anjir Serapat Muara. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi digunakan sebagai teknik pengumpulan data.Hasil penelitian; 1). Kearifan lokal petani padi yaitu penentuan hari yang baik untuk menanam padi dan panen padi, kedua proses penanaman padi secara tradisional dimulai dari pengolahan tanah, manugal, maampak atau malacak, batanam, panen padi dan mairik banih. Ketiga penggunaan alat tradisional dalam bertani yaitu tajak, tatajuk atau tatujah, arit dan ranggaman, gumbaan. Keempat syukuran atas keberhasilan panen padi petani desa anjir serapat muara masih menggunakan tradisi selamatan atau syukuran atas keberhasilan padi. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kearifan lokal petani padi masih digunakan oleh masyarakat desa Anjir Serapat Muara.

Abstract

Sumber-sumber lokal di lingkungan dan budaya sekitar siswa diperlukan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa. Namun berdasarkan pemanfaatan lingkungan fisik dan juga lingkungan non fisik, belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal dalam pembelajaran IPS. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan penelitian sumber belajar IPS yang datang langsung dari lingkungan siswa. Sejalan dengan hal tersebut, di Desa Anjir Serapat Muara terdapat kegiatan keagamaan yang belum dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber belajar, padahal kegiatan tersebut berpotensi menjadi sumber belajar bagi siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: 1) Mendeskripsikan kegiatan keagamaan masyarakat Anjir Serapat Muara. 2). Mendeskripsikan kegiatan keagamaan masyarakat Anjir Serapat Muara sebagai sumber pembelajaran IPS. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. Kemudian, validitas data diuji menggunakan triangulasi, yaitu triangulasi sumber dan teknis. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1). Kegiatan keagamaan Anjir Serapat Muara meliputi doa, MDA, Maulid Habsyi, Majlis Taklim, kelompok Yasinan untuk ibu dan ayah, Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW, Isra Mi'raj, Idul Fitri dan Idul Adha. 2). Integrasi kegiatan keagamaan masyarakat Anjir Serapat Muara sebagai sumber belajar IPS. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kegiatan keagamaan Anjir Serapat Muara dapat digunakan sebagai sumber belajar IPS karena dapat membantu meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran khususnya dalam materi interaksi sosial, lembaga sosial, serta keragaman etnis dan budaya di kelas VII Semester I SMP.

Abstract

Masyarakat memanfaatkan daerah lahan basah sebagai lahan pertanian ,peternakan dan juga pemukiman. Satu diantara peternakan yang ada pada Desa Anjir Serapat Muara 1 yaitu sebagai peternakan itik. Masyarakat yang bekerja sebagai peternak, yang mana pekerjaan tersebut ada sebagian dari masyarakat menjadikan sebagai mata pencaharian sampingan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan hidup. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yakni: mendeskripsikan usaha peternakan itik dalam menambah pendapatan masyarakat Desa Anjir Serapat Muara 1, Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Data yang didapatkan melalui teknik observasi, wawancara, dan juga dokumentasi. Instrumen pada penelitian ini ialah peneliti sendiri. Analisis data melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data dengan menyimpulkan uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi, dan perpanjang pengamatan. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat yang merasa kurang penghasilan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup, memilih agar bekerja sebagai peternak itik untuk mendapat penghasilan tambahan.

Abstract

Desa Anjir Serapat Muara merupakan desa yang penduduknya dominan sebagai petani. Untuk mendukung aktivitas tersebut, maka di Desa Anjir Serapat Muara terdapat berbagai usaha penggilingan padi.  Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui usaha penggilingan padi di desa Anjir Serapat Muara Kecamatan Anjir Muara Kabupaten Barito Kuala. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah kualitatif dan metode deskriptif. Dengan mendeskripsikan usaha penggilingan padi di Anjir Serapat Muara. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi pada penggilingan padi di Anjir Serapat Muara. Wawancara dan dokumentasi berupa rekaman dan gambar. Analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan inferensi atau bisa disebut dengan penarikan kersimpulan. Uji ketelitian data dengan pengamatan tambahan, pertumbuhan dan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian memastikan bahwa usaha penggilingan padi desa Anjir Serapat Muara Kecamatan Anjir Muara Kabupaten Barito Kuala terbagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu penggilingan individu dan penggilingan kelompok.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Dari hasil studi pendahuluan di SMP SMIP 1946 dengan metode wawancara kepada Kepala Sekolah, diketahui ada beberapa siswa yang merokok di sekitar lingkungan luar Sekolah Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui hubungan peran Guru dan pengetahuan siswa-siswi terhadap larangan merokok di Sekolah. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif bersifat analitik melalui pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel yaitu seluruh siswa-siswi kelas 7 dan 8 SMP SMIP 1946 yang berjumlah 44 siswa-siswi, menggunakan kuesioner dan di analisis dengan uji chi square. Hasil: Hasil dari variabel larangan merokok menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden memilih setuju 72,7%, kategori pengetahuan kurang sebesar 75% dan kategori peran Guru baik sebesar 61,4%. Hasil uji chi square tidak ada hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan larangan merokok (p-value = 0.672), sedangkan ada hubungan antara variabel peran Guru dengan larangan merokok (p-value = 0.000). Simpulan: Diharapkan Guru memberikan edukasi menarik dan bisa memacu semangat siswa-siswi terkait edukasi yang di sampaikan, seperti dari segi video animasi atau video komedi bertujuan membuat para siswa-siswi bisa memahami isi dari edukasi terkait larangan merokok.

Abstract

The Implementation of religious values-based traditions is inherent in the Banjar community. The Banjar people commemorate the Prophet Muhammad SAW's birthday by swinging a child or adult called Baayun Maulid. This article aims to describe the value of Baayun Maulid as a source of social studies learning. Approach qualitative and descriptive methods were used in the study. Three stages of data collection, among others; observation, interview, and documentation. Data sources were taken from informants directly involved during the implementation, namely community leaders, documentation in pictures, and recordings. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The validity of the data through the triangulation of sources and techniques. The study results describe the relevance of Baayun Maulid, starting by providing an analysis of the sub-learning materials and research findings. Based on the textbook's e material results, the religious costs and the value of cooperation can be included in the Social Studies material for class VII, the subject matter of Cultural and Ethnic Diversity, the sub-discussion of Traditional Ceremony, Besides that, it also uses various learning media such as photos, videos and learning management systems that support learning with technology so that the Baayun Maulid religious ritual activities are not only ritualistic but are able to develop the character of students on the class and the teacher using LMS composing them with other learning media such as photos, videos and others.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the objective condition of Anjir Serapat Muara village as one of the buffers of Curiak Island, with a focus on the social aspects of the local community. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach, including field observation, in-depth interviews, and secondary data analysis. The results of the study show that Anjir Serapat Muara village as a buffer for Curiak Island faces various challenges in social aspects, such as relatively low education levels and limited access to health services. This study concludes that integrated efforts are needed to improve the welfare of the community in the buffer village of Curiak Island, one of which is through community empowerment programs.

Abstract

Smart Apps Creator is used by educators as Interactive Multimedia to become an interesting technology-based media, so that the learning process is easier and more fun so that it can motivate students while learning. The purpose is to describe the efforts of educators in using technology in making interesting innovations in the learning process for students in class VII on MTs. Raudhatul Islamiyah. The research method used is a qualitative method with the aim of explaining the creation and application of interactive multimedia in Market Material in Class VII at MTs. Raudhatul Islamiyah. The subjects of the study were social studies educators and grade VII learners. Observation is carried out by making direct observations of the object of research, while interviews involve interaction with individuals related to the research. Documentation, in this study takes data from certain documents that are relevant to the research. After completing collecting data, the next stage is analyzing using descriptive analysis methods. This analysis process includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions, which collectively help create a comprehensive illustration. The results and discussion of the research is the creation and application of Interactive Multimedia Social Studies Learning from local content Lok Baintan Floating Market using the Smart Apps Creator application by educators in the learning process Market Material for grade VII MTs students. Raudhatul Islamiyah can contribute to the development of innovative and effective learning strategies at the secondary education level. The conclusion that can be drawn from this study is that the application of interactive multimedia social studies learning by social studies teachers using Smart Apps Creator makes learning more effective and efficient in accordance with the objectives for education.

Abstract

This article describes training in making educational posters using the Canva application for Social Sciences Education students, FKIP ULM. The method used in this article is community service activities carried out on March 13-14, 2024, at the Social Sciences Education Writing Laboratory FKIP ULM, then using 1) problem discovery observation stages, planning stages and implementation stages; 2) presenting data in the descriptive form; and 3) drawing conclusions based on activities to describe the research results systematically. In the results analysis section, the author uses literature studies to add insight, which is also supported by the results of interviews with training activity participants. Service activities are carried out in two activities. First, presentation and discussion related to making educational posters, from the definition to the steps in making a poster. Second, the practice of making posters via the Canva application by social studies education students using devices such as laptops and cellphones with a focus on the themes of ethnopedagogy and social studies education.
