Abstract

Masalah pengelolaan laboratorium di perguruan tinggi seringkali dihadapkan pada tantangan seperti kurangnya efisiensi, akurasi data yang rendah, dan kesulitan dalam mengakses informasi yang dibutuhkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dengan mengembangkan Sistem Informasi Laboratorium berbasis web. Metode yang digunakan adalah Agile Scrum untuk memungkinkan pengembangan yang fleksibel dan responsif terhadap perubahan kebutuhan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem berhasil mengelola inventaris alat, jadwal praktikum, dan nilai mahasiswa secara terintegrasi. Implementasi sistem ini telah meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan laboratorium dan memberikan akses informasi yang lebih mudah bagi pengguna.

Abstract

Games are among the applications popular with the public, as supported by research conducted by MoboMarket. Many games are created merely to entertain students, which partly explains why high school students often lack interest in studying mathematics. Two main factors contribute to this lack of interest: the first is internal, where students have a low curiosity or enjoyment in learning math, and the second is external, where they feel bored and uninterested in doing calculations. This study aims to develop an interactive mathematics quiz game application based on WebGL and developed using Unity 2D as a solution to help change students' perception that mathematics is neither complicated nor difficult. The math quiz game application includes features such as sound effects, back, open, info, quit, and answer buttons. By utilizing Unity 2D technology, this game application is built as a WebGL to allow it to run on a web browser. The development of this math quiz game follows the Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC) method, which is applied in detail. Data collection methods, including questionnaires and surveys, are used to facilitate the game's development process. The game also involves designing a system using UML to model the quiz game, and once the game is complete, an alpha testing method is used to evaluate it. The result of this research is intended as an alternative learning medium for high school students in the form of a game that can be played on a web browser.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology has influenced various aspects of education, including data management in schools. One of the key aspects of vocational education is efficient data processing to support administrative and academic activities. This community service program was conducted to provide students of SMK Swasta Nur Azizi with knowledge and skills in utilizing MySQL as a database management system for data processing. MySQL was chosen for its capability to efficiently manage and process data, making it highly relevant to industry needs. This program employed a qualitative approach with a case study method, focusing on the implementation of MySQL in student data processing. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation to analyze the effectiveness of MySQL in school operations. The activities included socialization sessions covering theoretical explanations of MySQL fundamentals, software installation, and hands-on practice in database creation and SQL queries. The results of this program indicate that students were able to understand the basic concepts of MySQL, create databases and tables, and process data using fundamental SQL commands such as SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE. Thus, this initiative is expected to enhance students' data processing skills, enabling them to apply these competencies in various fields and strengthen their qualifications in the job market.

Abstract

The Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model aligns with the conditions of the Merdeka Curriculum. However, the application of this model is still limited and has not been widely measured through students' mathematical problem-solving ability and self-efficacy. Therefore, this study compares the effectiveness of the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model and direct learning in improving students' mathematical problem-solving ability and self-efficacy. This study used a quantitative method with a Pre-test, Post-test Nonequivalent Control Group research design. The research subjects were taken through purposive sampling, involving two classes as samples. Class VIII D applies the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model, and class VIII F uses direct learning. Data were obtained from pretest, posttest and questionnaire results. The collected data were then analyzed using the Independent Sample t-test and Pearson product-moment correlation test with a significance level of a = 0.05. The results of the analysis show that the significance value for mathematical problem-solving ability and student self-efficacy is below 0.05. It can be concluded that the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model affects students' ability to understand, plan and solve a mathematical problem and can increase student self-efficacy based on this research.

Abstract

Student savings information system to avoid errors in the saving process, one of the problems that occurs at MTS Al-Manar Medan is that the student savings management system at MTS Al-Manar still uses manual methods. With information conveyed orally, this causes the information received by students to be less accurate, not up to date, and easily lost and forgotten. This is less effective because the lack of accuracy in conveying and receiving information becomes an obstacle in processing student savings. This system is designed to make it easier to manage student savings as expected. The main focus of this system is to avoid errors in recording, loss of savings books, savings books, and managing savings data. You can use online media in the form of a website to make it easier for treasurers to manage savings and compile reports quickly and accurately. Researchers created a simple websitebased savings application at MTS Al-Manar using the UCD method. So that MTS Al-Manar Medan uses it, and provides optimal benefits for all parties involved. The goal with this savings application is to make it easier for school administration to input student savings data, and students can monitor each student's savings data on the savings application portal, thereby avoiding school savings application administrator errors.

Abstract

Radio MNC Trijaya 95.1 FM is a radio station that broadcasts the latest news in Indonesia. This research aims to create a broadcast information system on Radio MNC Trijaya 95.1 FM which provides a radio broadcast service system as well as news and song request facilities offered via the internet, and can be an online promotional media that can be accessed anytime and anywhere. To achieve the research objectives, data collection methodologies were used, such as direct observation, interviews and questionnaires. Then analyze the problem using the SWOT analysis method, and create a proposed system design that will be built using the RAD (Rapid Application Development) method, and the programming languages used are PHP and JavaScript. The database uses MySQL. The tools and editors used are XAMPP for Windows, Notepad++. The result of this research is to design a radio broadcasting information system on radio that can help listeners of Radio MNC Trijaya 95.1 FM in accessing information such as broadcast schedules, news and events, broadcaster profiles, and song requests.

Abstract

Perfume is a fragrance that is produced from the extraction process of aromatic ingredients that are used to provide a fragrant aroma to the human body. E-commerce that develops in the field of information technology that provides convenience and advantages, if compared to conventional sales such as consumers can buy goods online and make it easier for consumers to transact and sellers get large profits because the merchandise is more familiar with the public and can manage data systematic sales.The development method in building AF Perfume E-commerce System is based on the theory of model design thinking. Design thinking is a software development methodology that proposes approaches to solve problems and gather ideas in order to get solutions. The purpose of research writing is to produce a Website-Based AF Perfume E-Commerce System. With the application of this system will facilitate and benefit many parties both consumers and sellers. Abstract

Pemahaman konsep peluang sering menjadi kendala bagi siswa karena materi ini bersifat abstrak dan sulit dikaitkan dengan pengalaman nyata. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah mengetahui sejauh mana siswa kelas delapan di SMP Negeri 2 Besuk memahami konsep peluang setelah menggunakan pendekatan simulasi metode Monte Carlo. Dengan menerapkan metode kuasi-eksperimen menggunakan desain nonequivalent control group, siswa dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, satu belajar melalui simulasi Monte Carlo dan kelompok lain dengan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Seluruh siswa kelas delapan menjadi partisipan, kemudian dua kelompok dipilih secara acak sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Data dikumpulkan melalui pre-test dan post-test dengan soal terbuka untuk mengukur pemahaman konsep peluang. Sebelum analisis utama, dilakukan uji homogenitas dan normalitas. Selanjutnya, uji t-independen dipakai untuk menguji perbedaan signifikan antara kedua kelompok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemahaman konsep peluang siswa meningkat secara nyata dengan penggunaan simulasi metode Monte Carlo. Kelompok eksperimen memperoleh nilai post-test rata-rata 81,52, sedangkan kelompok kontrol 74,57. Temuan ini membuktikan pendekatan Monte Carlo merupakan metode baru dan efektif dalam pengajaran matematika karena memanfaatkan simulasi untuk menghubungkan konsep abstrak dengan aplikasi nyata. Siswa didorong untuk aktif melakukan percobaan berulang, sehingga membantu mereka memahami prinsip peluang sekaligus mengasah intuisi matematis.

Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika yang relevan dan bermakna merupakan faktor penting dalam memperdalam pemahaman konsep siswa. Etnomatematika, sebagai pendekatan yang menghubungkan budaya lokal dengan konsep matematika, diyakini mampu memberikan pengalaman belajar yang kontekstual dan dekat dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Dalam penelitian ini, materi bilangan bulat dan pecahan dipelajari melalui konteks tradisi lokal yang berkaitan dengan hasil panen, sehingga siswa lebih mudah memahami konsep yang diajarkan.. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas pembelajaran etnomatematika berbasis tradisi hasil panen dalam memperdalam pemahaman konsep bilangan bulat dan pecahan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain Pretest-Posttest Nonequivalent Control Group. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII di Satuan Pendidikan Muadalah Wustha Al-Mashduqiah, dengan kelas VII D sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan VII E sebagai kelompok kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi, dengan instrumen berupa soal esai berdasarkan indikator pemahaman konsep. Data dianalisis menggunakan Independent Sample t-Test. Hasil analisis membuktikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran etnomatematika terbukti efektif dalam memperdalam pemahaman konsep bilangan bulat dan pecahan, serta dapat menjadi alternatif pendekatan pembelajaran yang dapat diterapkan oleh pendidik.

Abstract

Vocational High School (SMK) graduates are prepared to enter the workforce. It is essential for every SMK graduate to possess specialized skills to support their future career development. In the culinary arts program, for instance, students can leverage digital marketing techniques through social media platforms to market their products. Recognizing the significance of social media utilization, particularly Instagram, as a medium for business information and promotion, there is a need for digital marketing literacy among SMK Tunas Karya students. This Community Service Program (PkM) aims to enhance students' competencies in managing social media for digital business marketing. Through socialization and training initiatives, students are expected to comprehend digital marketing strategies via Instagram to support business activities. The program's success indicators include improved student understanding of Instagram usage as a communication medium and business promotion platform, as well as enhanced student proficiency in managing and presenting content creatively. Through the implementation of social media-based digital marketing strategies, students can expand their business reach, facilitate transactions, and increase profitability.
