Abstract

Basic education is a place where individuals build knowledge, attitudes, and positive behaviors that are used for future life. However, in reality, there have been many practices that are not for basic education, such as bullying in the school environment. This research aims to reveal the impact of bullying on the mental health of victims who are students of SMK PGRI 2 Malang. This study uses a qualitative case study method involving three students who are victims of bullying as the main informants. Informants were taken through purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected through structured interviews, observations, and document analysis. The collected data was analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model which consisted of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The process of data validity in this study uses the source triangulation technique. The results of the study showed that bullying had a significant impact on the mental health of the victim, such as anxiety, decreased self-confidence, social exclusion, and prolonged feelings of insecurity. In addition, victims tend to normalize the bullying they experience and are reluctant to report it to the school, especially BK teachers because of a lack of trust in the teacher's abilities and responses. This research highlights the importance of the role of BK teachers in handling bullying cases at school as well as fostering positive relationships and supporting students. Abstract

Banks have a primary function as collectors and distributors of funds, while additional services act as supporters. The presence of Islamic banking, such as Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI), is expected to increase economic growth, especially in Muslim-majority countries like Indonesia. BSI was officially launched on February 1, 2021 through the merger of several government-owned Islamic banks. Innovative products, such as BSI Gold Installments, are one of the efforts to attract public interest in Islamic banking services. BSI Gold Installments utilize murabahah and rahn contracts, which are in accordance with sharia principles, to allow customers to own gold in stages with light payments. Gold is chosen because of its stability in value and its ability to fight inflation, making it an attractive investment. This study aims to analyze the BSI Gold Installment product in increasing customer financing, especially at BSI KCP Palembang Jakabaring, using a descriptive qualitative method. The results show that service excellence, product innovation, and contract transparency are the main factors in the success of this product in meeting the investment needs of the community. However, challenges remain, including low customer interest due to lack of education and promotion. Therefore, BSI is expected to continue to develop marketing strategies and sharia-based product innovations to increase competitiveness in the banking sector.

Triangulation of data was carried out by in-depth interviews with six adults (the parents, the village elder, and the teacher of some children). The results showed that (1) anxiety and traumatic symptoms in some children were relatively high; (2) there was an increase in social support from the community for the children, and (3) religious activities made a deeper meaning in the children's recovery process. The results of this study underline that social support and religious approaches as the main factors in children's recovery process. The results of this study underlie the need for alternative treatments based on local wisdom with a collective and religious approach so that the community can do it independently and sustainably for the children.

Abstract

The psychodynamic counseling course is one of the compulsory courses to provide students with an understanding of theories, concepts, and techniques based on psychodynamic views. With various existing goals, it shows that implementing this course requires technology-based media to support the optimal running of lectures. The MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) platform is an answer to implementing psychodynamic counseling courses with existing flexibility and accessibility. The purpose of this research is to develop content on the MOOC platform to improve the quality of learning by utilizing interactive technology and learning content can be presented dynamically using various media such as video, audio, and simulation. The development of MOOC content goes through a series of stages of research and development. The development design used is the ADDIE development model to produce a specific product and test the effectiveness of the product. The stages of this research are analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the study show that the development of case-method-based MOOC content in the Psychodynamic Counseling course has succeeded in increasing the effectiveness of online learning for materials that require in-depth understanding and analytical skills. Despite the challenges in moderating discussions and the need for additional guidance for more abstract concepts, MOOCs have proven their potential as an effective and flexible online learning medium. As for the suggestions in this study, it is hoped that the development of MOOC content can be more extensive in other courses. In addition, MOOC platforms can be used more widely in optimizing learning.

Abstract

Universities aim to achieve intelligent education through innovative learning methods. Students desire models to develop their skills, and this can be achieved through peer modelling with their peers. This research aims to develop a peer modelling-based digital module to enhance students' understanding of the Personality Development Practicum course, as an effort to improve the ideal personal qualities of prospective counselors. The research design uses the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The subjects in this study are material experts (guidance and counseling lecturers), media experts (learning technology lecturers), and potential users (guidance and counseling students). The results show that the digital module is equipped with video explanations, PowerPoint, infographics, motion graphics, and peer modelling videos. Based on the validation results by material experts, media experts, and potential users, the digital module is considered valid in terms of accuracy, usefulness, attractiveness, and ease of use. Further empirical evidence is needed to support the use of the peer modelling-based digital module in developing the ideal personal qualities of prospective counselors.

Abstract

Sexual harassment can have long-term negative effects on victims, one of which is a decrease in self-compassion. A decline in self-compassion may hinder the achievement of individuals’ developmental tasks. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of feminist counseling services using expressive writing techniques to enhance self-compassion among students who are victims of sexual harassment. The research employed a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest experimental design. The study population consisted of 60 students who had experienced sexual harassment. The data collection instrument used was a self-compassion scale developed by Kristin Neff and translated by Sugianto et al. The sample consisted of six female students with low levels of self-compassion who were selected using purposive sampling techniques. These six students received feminist group counseling interventions using expressive writing techniques over five sessions. Data were analyzed using the non-parametric Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. The analysis yielded a Z value of -2.207 and an asymp. sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.027, which is lower than the alpha level of 0.05, indicating a significant increase in scores before and after the intervention. Therefore, it can be concluded that feminist group counseling with expressive writing techniques is effective in enhancing self-compassion among students who are victims of sexual harassment.
