Abstract

Pedagogy is the study of how to educate and guide children according to their development. Pedagogic competence is basically the ability of teachers to manage student learning and the distinctive competencies that will distinguish teachers from other professions will also determine the level of success of the process and learning outcomes of their students. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the pedagogic competencies possessed by early childhood educators in developing learning in early childhood education programs. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative approach with a literature review method, data collection techniques carried out by researchers are the results of previous studies in the form of Scopus indexed international journals and National journals with a reputation for Sinta 2 and relevant to the research topic. The data analysis technique used is content analysis. The findings from the data analysis showed that the pedagogic competence of educators includes the implementation of further learning, namely the achievement of learning objectives which means that the learning that has been designed by educators is able to develop aspects of child development such as religious and moral values, physical-motor, language, cognitive, art, and social-emotional as outlined through the learning objectives. Quality educators are educators who have many abilities, especially in terms of teaching and learning, therefore educators need to develop their quality by continuing to hone their abilities. ABSTRAK Pedagogik ilmu yang mempelajari tentang bagaimana mendidik dan membimbing anak sesuai dengan perkembangannya. Kompetensi Pedagogik pada dasarnya kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran peserta didik dan kompetensi khas yang akan membedakan guru dengan profesi lainnya juga akan menentukan tingkat keberhasilan proses dan hasil pembelajaran peserta didiknya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis kompetensi pedagogik yang dimiliki oleh pendidik anak usia dini dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran di PAUD. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi literatur (literature review), teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan oleh peneliti yaitu hasil penelitian terdahulu berupa jurnal internasional terindeks scopus dan jurnal Nasional yang bereputasi sinta 2 serta relevan dengan topik penelitian. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis isi (content analysis). Hasil temuan dari analisis data diperoleh bahwa kompetensi pedagogik pendidik meliputi pelaksanaan pembelajaran selanjutnya yaitu ketercapaiannya tujuan pembelajaran yang mengandung arti bahwa pembelajaran yang telah dirancang oleh pendidik mampu mengembangkan aspek perkembangan anak seperti nilai agama dan moral, fisik-motorik, bahasa, kognitif, seni, dan sosial-emosional yang dituangkan melalui tujuan pembelajaran. Pendidik yang berkualitas adalah pendidik yang memiliki banyak kemampuan khususnya dalam hal belajar mengajar, oleh karena itu pendidik perlu mengembangkan kualitasnya dengan terus mengasah kemampuannya.

Abstract

Abstract Early reading and writing skills, or known as early literacy, is crucial for supporting successful reading and writing during school age. Early literacy is closely related to home literacy, as the two influence each other. However, early reading skills remains low in Indonesia. Therefore, the aim of this study is to determine how home literacy affects the early reading skills of preschool children., both with or without controlling for parental age, occupation, and education. The method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method using a multiple regression model approach. The samples in this study consist of preschool children and their parents from Little Bee Moslem Kindergarten and Al Kayyisah Kindergarten. Sampling was determined using multistage random sampling. The results of this study show that, with or without controlling for parents' age, parents' occupation, and parents' education, home literacy affects preschool children's early reading skills. All effects were equally influential, except for the impact of constraints on reading with children and the parents' occupation. Keywords: Early Reading; Home Literacy; Preschool Children Abstrak Kemampuan membaca permulaan merupakan kemampuan penting untuk menunjang keberhasilan membaca dan menulis di usia sekolah. Kemampuan membaca permulaan erat hubungannya dengan literasi rumah, karena keduanya saling memengaruhi. Namun kenyataannya, di Indonesia masih rendah kemampuan membaca permulaannya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui, bagaimana pengaruh literasi rumah terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan anak prasekolah. Baik dengan atau tanpa mengontrol usia orang tua, pekerjaan orang tua, maupun pendidikan orang tua. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan pendekatan model multiple regression. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 86 dengan rincian 48 anak prasekolah dan 38 orang tua anak prasekolah TK Little Bee Moslem, TK Al Kayyisah. Penentuan sampel dengan menggunakan multistage random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, dengan maupun tanpa mengontrol usia orang tua, pekerjaan orang tua, dan pendidikan orang tua, literasi rumah memengaruhi kemampuan membaca awal anak prasekolah. Semua pengaruhnya sama kecuali pengaruh kendala dalam kegiatan membaca bersama anak dan pekerjaan orang tua. Kata kunci: Anak Prasekolah; Literasi Rumah; Membaca Permulaan

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplor kemampuan kompetensi digital guru Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) dalam jabatan. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan subjek penelitian berjumlah 5 orang guru PAUD dalam jabatan melalui wawancara one to one dan observasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis taksonomi. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa pada dimensi Information, pemerolehan kebutuhan informasi guru telah efektif, dimensi communication, kompetensi ini intens digunakan terkhusus pada saat pandemi. Dimensi content creation, kemampuan pembuatan dan inovasi konten memerlukan pihak ketiga dan dimensi Safety and Problem Solving, guru telah memiliki kesadaran akan perlindungan data dan privasi diri.

Abstract

One of the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic in education is the adaptation of children in the transition period to enter first grade elementary school, because the transition from kindergarten to first grade elementary school is a major change in children's dailyroutine life. One of the supporting factors in the success of children's school adaptation is the relationship between parents and children and the relationship between parents and schools. The purpose of this study was to explore parents' perspectives on the adaptation of first grade students during the transition from kindergarten to first grade. This study used qualitative research methods, with phenomenological design. The study conducted interviews with 3 parents who had children in first gradeof elementary school. Analysis uses interviews and documentation to analyze research findings. The results showed that the topics identified to parents of first grade elementary school children were efforts made by parents to prepare children to enter first grade elementary school after the COVID-19 pandemic; adaptation indicators considered by the child's parents at the beginning of the first year of primary school; and the relationship between teachers and parents in the adaptation process of first gradeelementary school children.

Abstract

Teachers have four competence that is pedagogic competence , competence personality , competence social , and competence professional . According to Director General Regulation No. 2626 of 2023 on Competency Professional there are 3 indicators that is knowledge content learning and methods teach it , characteristics and ways Study participant education , and curriculum and methods use it . The teacher 's abilities become not quite enough the teacher answers to become a competent teacher . BASIRU digital media is one media that helps increase teacher skills in method teach specifically teach literacy read write . Research that uses method study descriptive qualitative . Data collection techniques used is do interview to kindergarten teachers in the South Jakarta area. Data analyzed with reduce data. Based on results study that BASIRU digital media is effective can improven competence professional teachers because In BASIRU there are learning videos related Skills teaching teachers in teach literacy read write , book pocket literacy read writing , and teacher self -assessment in teach literacy read write . So that content the can enrich method teach teacher. It is hoped that teachers can think creative in develop self in increase competence professional .

Abstract

This study contributes to the conceptualization of community-oriented parenting towards the context of early childhood education in Indonesia. It was based on a literature analysis of multicultural community care practices as a characteristic of Indonesia. The research design used a systematic literature review which selected 136 articles for analysis using a thematic approach. The theme narrated was how to describe the process of community care culture as identity and negotiation of community care culture within the ethno-parenting framework in early childhood education. This research proposed that the definition of parenting in Indonesian society could be used as material for the development of sustainable parenting education, especially the dimensions of ethno-parenting and multicultural education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi literatur. Selama masa tumbuh kembang anak, salah satu hal yang perlu dibangun ialah karakter. Karakter yang tertanam dalam diri anak akan mempengaruhi ketahanmalangan hingga usia dewasa. Salah satu karakteryang perlu dibangun sejak dini adalah perilaku disiplin. Aspek disiplin yang dapat diterapkan untuk anak meliputi, ketertiban. Adapun kegiatan yang dapat dilaksanakan patuh terhadap peraturan yang berlaku, menyelesaikan tugas yang diberikan, meletakkan kembali benda pada tempatnya, dan sabar menunggu giliran selama kegiatan. Guru dapat menggunakan media yang menarik untuk menstimulasi disiplin anak. Pengunaan media dapat membangun interaksi kepada anak. Salah satu media yang dapat menstimulasi perilaku disiplin adalah media cerita gambar berseri.

Abstract

Mengembangkan pop-up book 3D five magic words untuk menstimulasi kemampuan bahasa ekspresif anak usia 4-5 tahun merupakan tujuan studi ini, penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Research and Deveploment dengan  model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) ditujukan untuk menghasilkan sebuah produk yang menekankan setiap komponen saling terkoordinasi sesuai dengan kelima tahap model pengembangan ADDIE. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan pengukuran data berdasarkan instrumen kuesioner untuk review ahli serta instrument evaluasi untuk orang tua. Nilai akhir uji kelayakan anak usia 4-5 tahun masing-masing adalah 96% dan 95%, berdasarkan uji validitas yang dilakukan oleh pakar media. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian, anak usia 4-5 tahun dapat memperoleh manfaat dari stimulasi bahasa ekspresif yang diberikan oleh pop-up book five magic words. Pada pop-up book five magic words ini memberikan manfaat yang dirasakan oleh anak, diantaranya, anak mampu untuk mengungkapkan kata dan kalimat yang sederhana, mengekspresikan persaaan anak, mudah memahami kata penggunaan salam, permisi, tolong, maaf, dan terima kasih.

Abstract

Bullying is a social problem that can occur starting from childhood, and not only occurs in the social environment where people live but also includes the school environment including in Early Childhood Education units. Bullying is a condition when children are faced with negative actions carried out by individuals or groups with frequent frequency and considerable intensity. Bullying in the school environment as a form of one of the aggressive behaviors carried out repeatedly by individuals or groups who feel they have power over other individuals who are considered weaker. Bullying behavior is related to the lack of social emotional skills possessed by children. The research has implications for interventions or prevention that seek to focus on social emotional skills, which can be a factor in maintaining relationships so that no child is victimized, as it is associated with significant behaviors among children who are bullies in peer friendships. Cruel treatment of others. Educators in ECD settings can assist young children in developing important social-emotional skills that can be used to prevent bullying behavior. These activities include teaching children to empathize with the feelings of others, differentiate between their own and others' emotions, take on new roles, and become more emotionally responsive.
