Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of entrepreneurship education with self-efficacy moderation on student entrepreneurial attitudes. This study is a descriptive exploratory study with 35 biology education students as subjects. The research instrument used was a closed questionnaire with degraded attitude answers according to the Likert scale and had been validated by experts. Analysis of the research data used is descriptive statistics and inferential statistics with the Moderate Regression Analysis (MRA) test at a significance level of 5%. The results of the study show that: 1) student perceptions of entrepreneurship education have an average of 3.15 in the good category, self-efficacy is 3.12 in the good category, and entrepreneurial attitude is 3.06 in the good category; 2) there is an effect of entrepreneurship education with self-efficacy moderation on student entrepreneurial attitudes with an F value of 93.109, and a significance value of 0.000 which is less than the alpha testing value of 0.05 (> 0.05); and 3) entrepreneurship education with self-efficacy moderation influences student entrepreneurial attitudes by 73.8%, and the rest is influenced by variables or other factors.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh lama perendaman panas, perbandingan ekstrak daun bintaro dan interaksi keduanya terhadap nilai absorbsi, retensi dan penetrasi pada pengawetan bambu tali. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap Faktorial (RALF). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata absorbsi, retensi teoritis, retensi aktual dan penetrasi masing-masing bahan pengawet berkisar antara 0,62 gr/cm3 – 0,78 gr/cm3, 0,06 gr/cm3 – 0,16 gr/cm3, 0,004 gr/cm3 – 0,007 gr/cm3 dan 1,07 cm – 1,52 cm. Lama perendaman berpengaruh nyata terhadap nilai absorbsi, retensi teoritis dan penetrasi bahan pengawet. Perbandingan bahan pengawet berpengaruh nyata terhadap nilai retensi teoritis dan penetrasi bahan pengawet. Interaksi keduanya tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap nilai absorbsi, retensi teoritis, retensi aktual dan penetrasi bahan pengawet.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa tentang efek norma subyektif terhadap self-efficacy dalam bidang wirausaha. Studi ini merupakan penelitian eksploratif dengan subyek penelitian sebanyak 35 mahasiswa pendidikan biologi. Intrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah angket tertutup dengan jawaban berdegradasi sesuai skala likert yang telah divalidasi ahli dan dinyatakan valid. Analisis data penelitian yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial dengan uji regresi linier pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa (1) rata-rata skor persepsi mahasiswa tentang norma subyektif sebesar 3,07 dengan kategori Baik dan self-efficacy sebesar 3,13 dengan kategori Baik; (2) tidak ada efek signifikan norma subyektif terhadap self-efficacy mahasiswa dalam bidang wirausaha, yang dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi (p-value) 0,649 lebih besar dari 0,05 (0,05); (3) nilai R Square sebesar 0,006 atau 0,6% yang artinya bahwa norma subyektif mempengaruhi self-efficacy mahasiswa dalam bidang wirausaha sebesar 0,6% dan sisanya dipengaruhi variabel atau faktor lainnya

Abstract

[Title: The Conceptual Profile of Prospective Biology Teacher FPMIPA IKIP Mataram]. The conceptual profile is a tool for analyzing the style or process of thinking, so the profile of understanding concepts is very important to study as a basis for designing and improving the quality of learning. This research is a descriptive study that aims to identify and explain the conceptual profile of prospective biology teacher FPMIPA IKIP Mataram. The subjects in this study included all biology students who regularly program evolutionary courses. The open-ended question is designed to collect conceptual profile data on the evolutionary biology students from FPMIPA IKIP Mataram. Identification or determination of conceptual profile is based on student responses or answers. Based on the results of the research and the limitations of the discussion, it is recommended that the development of textbooks that are free of misconception as a learning resource for valid biology prospective teacher, then lecturers as instructors, continue to study and teach about attitude, namely scientific attitudes, or thinking dispositions, and/or integrating attitudes in the lecture process. Besides that, in the lecture or learning process, the lecturer must facilitate or empower the style or process of thinking of students with various learning methods or strategies that emphasize thinking processes, including formal reasoning, and analogical teaching strategy.

Abstract

[Title: Development of Student Worksheets based on Practicum with Direct Learning Models to Improve Students' Science Process Skills]. This research aims to develop student worksheets based on practicum with direct learning models that valid, practical and effective to improve students' science process skills. This research is a development study using 4D stages with the subject of 30 students of class X1 IPA1 MAPK Syeh Zainuddin Anjani. The developed student worksheet was validated by three competent validators using validation sheets. The practicalities of the worksheets developed were measured using student response questionnaires, while the effectiveness of worksheets was measured using an observation sheet of students' science process skills by two observers. Research data were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively. The results showed that the student worksheets with tissue culture material were quite valid (a score of 3.9), the students' responses after learning showed a high percentage with a very strong category (81%-100%), while the students' process skills improved at each meeting in the good category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the student worksheets based on practicum with direct learning models were valid, practical, and effective to improve the students’ science process skills of MAPK Syeh Zainuddin Anjani.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship learning in university becomes a bridge to build students' knowledge, interests, and skills in the entrepreneurial field. As it is to produce graduates who are creative, innovative, productive, reliable, quality, independent, having self-controlled, and competitive. This current research aimed to find out (1) the students' attitudes, subjective norms, and entrepreneurial interests; (2) the influence of subjective norms and attitudes on students’ entrepreneurial interests. It was an ex post facto research with associative descriptive approach. It was conducted in the even semester of 2020 with 56 samples of students of the Biology Education, FSTT Mandalika University of Education who were selcted using purposive sampling technique. The instrument administered was a closed questionnaire about attitudes, subjective norms, and entrepreneurial interests with a Likert scale and  it had been validated by experts. The datawere analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics with multiple linear regression tests. The results showed that the students’ entrepreneurial attitude had a mean of 3.13 in good category, the subjective norm was 3.13 in good category, and the entrepreneurial interest was 3.08 in good category. Next, the results of multiple linear regression namely (1) the F-test value fell in 16.036 and the significance value of 0.000 was greater than the alpha value of 0.05 (> 0.05). It meant that there was an influence of attitude and subjective norms simultaneously towards students’ entrepreneurial interest; (2) the t-test showed that the significance value of attitude (X1) was 0.033 and the subjective norm (X2) was 0.030 which meant greater than the alpha value 0.05 (> 0.05). It meant that there was a partial influence of attitude and subjective norms on students’ entrepreneurial interest; and (3) the coefficient of determination test showed the value of R Square was 0.377 or 37.7%. It meant that the attitude and subjective norms affected the entrepreneur's interest and the rest of the percentage was affected by other variables or factors.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan laboratorium IPA terhadap pembelajaran Biologi di SMAN 1 Lingsar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex post facto dengan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriftif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN 1 Lingsar pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Sampel penelitian ini adalah Kepala Laboratoriun dan Siswa kelas XI IPA 1 dan XI IPA 2 sebanyak 50 siswa. Instrunen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa lembar observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penlitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat keefektifan penggunaan laboratorium IPA terhadap pembelajaran di SMAN 1 Lingsar, menunjukkan hasil bahwa Rerata semua butir pernyataan memiliki persentase sebesar 72,97% dengan kategori cukup baik. Nilai persentase yang masih tergolong cukup tersebut dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, yang berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan guru biologi di SMAN 1 Lingsar, faktor utama yang menyebabkan kurang efektifnya penggunaan laboratorium IPA di SMAN 1 Lingsar, yakni minimnya laboran sebagai pengelola sarana dan prasarana laboratorium, serta tidak ada pembantu laboran dalam mempersiapkan peralatan yang di butuhkan untuk proses praktikum sehingga menyebabkan guru dan siswa mengalami kendala dalam melakukan praktikum di laboratorium. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka perlu dilakukan penataan dalam pengelolaan laboratorium guna memaksimalkan proses praktikum yang lebih baik dan maksimal. Effectiveness of the Use of Science Laboratory on Biology Learning Abstract This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using the science laboratory for Biology learning at SMAN 1 Lingsar. This research is an ex post facto research with a descriptive quantitative approach. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Lingsar in the even semester of the 2022/2023 school year. The sample for this research was the head of the laboratory and students of class XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 2, consisting of 50 students. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of the study show that the level of effectiveness of using the science laboratory for learning at SMAN 1 Lingsar shows that the mean percentage of all statement items is 72.97%, which is in a fairly good category. The percentage value which is still classified as sufficient is influenced by several factors, which are based on the results of interviews with biology teachers at SMAN 1 Lingsar, the main factors causing the ineffective use of the science laboratory at SMAN 1 Lingsar, namely the lack of laboratory assistants as managers of laboratory facilities and infrastructure, and not there are laboratory assistants in preparing the equipment needed for the practicum process, causing teachers and students to experience problems in doing practicum in the laboratory. Based on this, it is necessary to make arrangements in laboratory management in order to maximize the better and maximum practicum process.

Abstract

Jamur merang merupakan tumbuhan yang tidak memiliki klorofil. Tidak adanya klorofil menyebabkan jamur tidak dapat memproduksi makanannya sendiri. Kondisi ini menyebabkan jamur sangat bergantung pada media tumbuhnya sehingga baik tidaknya pertumbuhan jamur merang tergantung nutrisi yang terkandung pada media tanamnya. Selain media tanam tumbuh kembang jamur merang sangat dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan dan kontaminan yang dapat berasal dari media tanam atau lingkungan tumbuh kembang jamur merang. Begitu banyak kompetensi yang harus dimiliki oleh petani jamur merang untuk menjaga produksi tetap stabil. Literasi tentang tumbuh kembang jamur menjadi sangat penting dikuasai petani untuk menjaga produksi tetap stabil. Pelatihan tenologi budidaya jamur merang ini dilaksanakan di kumbung jamur merang Dusun Repok Tunjang Desa Taman Indah Kecamatan Pringgarata. Metode pelaaklanaan yang digunakan adalah gelar teknologi. Proses kegiatan selanjutnya dievaluasi menggunakan pertanyaan langsung yang diberikan kepada petani jamur merang dan perbandingan produksi sebelum pelatihan dan setelah pelatihan. Hasil wawancara dengan petani jamur menunjukkan adanya beberapa hal yang mendasar yang belum dikuasai oleh petani jamur. Hal mendasar tersebut seperti teknik pengomposan dan sterilisasi. Petani jamur merang belum bisa membedakan secara fisik kondisi kompos media tanam yang sudah matang dan belum. Lama pengomposan tergantung kondisi bahan-bahan yang dikomposkan. Jerami yang masih baru atau baru diangkut dari sawah memerlukan waktu 2-3 hari lebih lama dalam proses pengomposan. Kompos yang belum matang menyebabkan jamur tidak dapat tumbuh optimal. Literasi petani tentang kondisi bahan yang digunakan penting untuk dikuasai. Pelatihan ini cukup efektik dalam meningkatkan literasi petani terbukti dari produksi jamur yang meningkat 20% lebih tinggi jika dibandingkan produksi jamur sebelumnya.

Abstract

Problematika pembelajaran sistem daring tentu akan berdampak signifikan pada tingkat penguasan materi oleh siswa sekolah dasar termasuk pada pelajaran bahasa inggris. Belajar bahasa inggris bagi anak-anak membutuhkan metode yang menyenangkan secara langsung. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk menguatkan pengetahaun dan keterampilan bahasa inggris anak-anak dan sekaligus menjadi solusi atas keterbatasan atau kekurangan interaksi belajar dalam pembelajaran sistem daring selama pandemi covid-19. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode partisipatif bersama anak-anak santri TPQ Asy-Sayuti. Peserta yang ikut kegiatan ini sebanyak 12 orang. Pembinaan bahasa inggris dilakukan secara kolaboratif dengan pengajar TPQ Asy-Sayuti. Hasil kegiatan yaitu (1) peserta mendapatkan penguatan keterampilan membaca (reading) huruf alfabet dalam bahasa inggris; (2) peserta mendapatkan penguatan pengetahuan vocabulary (kosa kata) dan keterampilan speaking (berbicara); (3) seluruh peserta merasa senang mengikuti kegiatan pembinaan bahasa inggris menggunakan metode ‘bernyanyi’.

Abstract

This study aimed at bolstering students' scientific literacy in biotechnology through the implementation of Experiment-Based Learning and Creativity Worksheets (LKPD). Utilizing a classroom action research framework, the investigation was conducted over two cycles, incorporating planning, action, observation, evaluation, and reflection phases. It involved 30 students and used observational sheets for monitoring teacher and student activities, along with multiple-choice and essay questions to assess students' scientific literacy. The findings revealed a notable enhancement in both teaching methods and student learning outcomes, facilitated by the LKPD usage. Specifically, teacher performance improved from achieving 80% of the set criteria in the first cycle to 90% in the second, upgrading their rating from 'Good' to 'Very Good'. This improvement was paralleled by a rise in students' average scores from 85.33 to 90.58, indicating a heightened engagement with and comprehension of biotechnological principles. The employment of LKPDs proved critical not just for expanding knowledge but for the practical application of scientific concepts, as demonstrated by an average literacy score of 88. Furthermore, an uplift in the average scientific literacy score from 76.59 in the first cycle to 84.89 in the second emphasizes the significance of LKPDs in enhancing students' grasp of scientific theories. Overall, the interventions across the cycles successfully elevated the caliber of teaching, enriched the student learning experience, and significantly improved science literacy, thus contributing to an enhancement in educational quality
