Abstract

This article presents an overview of the latest research results discussing the impact of earnings management practices on company value during the 2019-2023 period. This research aims to explore the relationship between earnings management and company value from various perspectives, using qualitative research methods and a case study approach. The researchers searched, analyzed and developed data from previous research, then adapted it to current conditions. The research findings outline the influence of earnings management on company value in the 2019-2023 time period. The research results highlight several trends, including an increased focus on transparency, accountability, as well as the impact of technology on earnings management practices and assessing corporate value. In conclusion, recent research trends show a shift towards deeper and more relevant understanding, with an emphasis on transparency, accountability, the influence of technology, as well as research based on specific industries and country contexts.

Abstract

A standard known as SAK EMKM regulates MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises).finances. This research aims to apply SAK EMKM as a basis for preparing financial reports for Seblak Prasmanan Bunda MSMEs, which are MSMEs that have developed and should have prepared their financial reports based on SAK EMKM. However, in preparing it, they experienced difficulties or obstacles in preparing financial reports based on SAK EMKM. This research aims to find out and examine what obstacles MSMEs face in preparing simple financial reports based on SAK EMKM. This research uses a qualitative approach using the case study method. The data sources used are primary data and secondary data. The results of the research show that in preparing financial reports, MSME actors have not implemented SAK EMKM due to business actors never receiving socialization, minimal educational background of MSME actors, no regulations related to the implementation of SAK EMKM, low capital to employ expert staff in preparing financial reports and business facilities. Therefore, in this research, a simple financial report was created which can help MSMEs understand how to prepare financial reports based on SAK EMKM.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the application of the SAK EMKM Micro Entity Accounting Standards at the CV. Riau Jaya Group service bureau service company. This is due to companies’ concerns about data and a lack of knowledge about the importance of financial reports using SAK EMKM. The analysis in this research uses a qualitative descriptive method to determine the obstacles or problems faced by service bureau companies in implementing financial reports by SAK EMKM. Data collection techniques in this research were used using field research and documentation. The results of this research show that the CV of the service bureau company. Riau Jaya Group still uses financial reports manually.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the level of understanding and concern of food and beverage canteen MSME business actors at Muhammadiyah University of Riau regarding the application of environmental accounting in their business operations. Environmental accounting is a field of accounting that is developing by voluntarily including environmental costs in company financial reports. Research data was collected through questionnaires. Using a random proportional technique, three canteen MSMEs selling food and drinks at the Muhammadiyah University of Riau were selected. In this qualitative descriptive research, data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman data analysis model in Sugiyono (2017): reducing data, presenting data, and making conclusions. The research results show that two out of three food and beverage MSME business owners in the Muhammadiyah University of Riau canteen have a good understanding and concern about the importance of implementing green accounting (environmental accounting). They do not yet understand the details of business and environmental costs, but they know that environmental costs are included in their business financial statements.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze how the percentage of completion method is applied in recognizing construction income applied by PT. Housing Development (Persero). The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The type of data used is primary data from interviews with the company regarding revenue recognition and secondary data in the form of PT financial data. Housing development, especially the Juanda Business Center project, Pager Hamlet, Saworatap, Kec. Gedangan, Sidoarjo Regency. The results of research carried out by the company in applying the percentage of completion method use a physical approach which is calculated based on estimates of physical progress alone without taking into account the costs that have been incurred in completing the project.

Abstract

Fotodegradasi metilen biru telah dilakukan dengan bantuan sinar UV dan material CaO/C hasil sintesis. Material awal berupa CaO cangkang kerang mas dan serbuk kulit jengkol, yang dikalsinasi pada suhu 900oC sehingga diperoleh nanokatalis CaO/C. Hasil karakterisasi gugus fungsi dengan spektrofotometer FT-IR menunjukkan gabungan antara spektra CaO dan serbuk kulit jengkol murni. Proses fotodegradasi dilakukan dengan optimasi massa katalis, pengaruh sinar, dan waktu degradasi.  CaO/C menunjukkan massa optimum sebesar 50 g dalam larutan metilen biru 25 ppm dengan persentase penurunanan konsentrasi metilen biru 5,2%. Waktu optimum CaO/C dicapai pada waktu 120 menit dengan persentase penurunan konsentrasi sebesar 20,968%. Kinetika reaksi CaO/C mengikuti model kinetika orde ke-1 dengan nilai konstanta 0,0018 min-1.

Abstract

Based on research conducted by the Journal of Management and Business, hedging is an action to protect companies from the risk of loss of foreign exchange rates that occur due to business transactions, so that companies can conduct business transactions with a number of foreign currenciesto avoid the risk of foreign exchange losses that occur due to business transactions carried out by companies using derivative instruments (Adrian Sutedi in Desmiza, 2015). With derivative instruments, companies can minimize the possibility of bankruptcy, making it easier for a company to be able to get loans with lower interest rates (because the risk obtained by lenders is lower) (Zahra &; Tjahjono, 2020). As for the purpose of doing this research is to find out how the use of hedging applied by PT. Astra International Tbk uses financial derivative instruments from the 2022 annual financial reports. The method used by researchers in this study is a qualitative method with a content analysis approach.The results of this study researchers found that PT. Astra International Tbk uses several hedging derivative financial transactions, such as cross currency swaps, interest rate swaps, commodity contracts and foreign exchange futures contracts. Of the four types of hedging derivative instruments, PT. Astra International Tbk classifies these instruments into cash flow hedges that comply with the hedge accounting objective criteria and cash flow hedge categories that do not comply with the hedge accounting objective criteria.

Abstract

Financial reporting that is easy to understand and transparent is a necessity for all types of businesses in the modern era. This cannot be separated from the fact that financial reports showing the results of a company's performance are one of the main foundations for making management decisions. A company in the form of a Commanditaire Vennootschap (CV) is one of the business units that still requires support in reporting its financial reports. This is because regulations This company and SAK-ETAP are not yet widely understood by all groups and still need to be socialized. This service is carried out using a qualitative methodology approach, namely data collection methods: interviews, observation and document analysis. Based on the results of preparing financial reports, CV. XYZ still uses manual preparation of financial reports so assistance is needed.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji unsur intrinsik dan nilai budaya pada Legenda Sang Kuriang Kesiangan. Hal ini dilakukan sebagai alternatif bahan ajar Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia di kelas VII. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini berupa unsur intrinsik dan nilai budaya pada Legenda Sang Kuriang Kesiangan, serta wawancara dengan instruktur nasional, pengawas, dan guru Bahasa Indonesia. Data unsur intrinsik tersebut meliputi: tema, tokoh dan penokohan, latar/ setting, alur, gaya bahasa, sudut pandang, dan amanat. Data nilai budaya meliputi: bahasa, sistem pengetahuan, organisasi sosial, sistem peralatan hidup dan teknologi, sistem mata pencaharian hidup, sistem religi, dan kesenian. Hasil kajian terhadap unsur intrinsik dan nilai budaya Legenda Sang Kuriang Kesiangan dilihat dari Kurikulum 2013, bahan ajar berupa bahasa, psikologi, dan latar budaya peserta, serta wawancara dengan nara sumber. Berdasarkan hal itu, maka diperoleh jawaban bahwa Legenda Sang Kuriang Kesiangan dikategorikan baik dan layak dijadikan alternatif bahan ajar pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMP kelas VII.

Abstract

Rivers are often used as a water source for agriculture, transportation, and water supply needs. One of the causes of riverbank damage is scouring the cliff's foot, which cannot withstand scouring currents. If not addressed immediately, it will cause more severe damage. Citarum River is one river that passes through Atirompe Village, Majalaya District. The riverbanks in the area have a risk of cliff failure. The study objective was to analyze the problem, design the protection, and calculate the budget. The hydrology and riverbank analysis of the Majalaya River has been performed. The steps were essential to analyze the depth and width of the scour caused by the flow of the Citarum River water. Sediment data were collected at three locations, namely the upstream, middle, and downstream of the river segment that will be reviewed. In data processing, to obtain a sediment rating curve, it is necessary to measure the flow velocity, which will later be calculated and used as the flow rate during Total Suspended Solid (TSS) data collection. Using the Hydrology Engineering Center – River Analysis System (HEC – RAS) 6.2 software, the calculations with the Ripley Equation were compared to obtain the scour depth. For the design alternative, constructing a steel sheet pile-type cliff protection structure is one form of planning to protect riverbanks. This study also analyzed the recapitulation of the budgeting for protecting the Citarum riverbanks in Atirompe Village, Majalaya District. Using a standardized unit price, the total cost for the protection is 1.8 billion rupiahs.
