Abstract

Lingkungan, kualitas media, teknik inokulasi bibit dan kualitas bibit menjadi beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi produktivitas jamur merang. Kondisi lingkungan menjadi salah satu faktor utama. Kondisi lingkungan ideal harus terus dijaga petani jamur merang, produksi jamur merang tetap setabil. Suhu ruangan menjadi faktor yang harus diperhatikan untuk menjaga tumbuh kembang jamur merang. Suhu ruangan bisa ideal jika kondisi kumbung dan kualitas media terjaga. Peneliti ini bertujuan menganilsa produktivitas kumbung selama satu tahun pertama produksi. Produktivitas diukur melalui lama produksi dan massa jamur merang yang diperoleh. Produksi jamur merang rata-rata dalam setiap bulannya sebesar 103,7 Kg dengan lama produksi rata-rata 30 hari.  Korelasi anatara jumlah produksi dan lama panen berkorelasi positif ini dibuktikan dengan nilai R hitung 0,978>R tabel 0, 4575.  Berdasarkan kajian lapangan dan analisis data diperoleh jumlah produksi berkorelasi positif dengan lama panen dan produksi jamur dan akan menurun seiring bertambahnya usia kumbung. Menurunnya produktivitas diakibatnya karena menurunnya kualitas media tanam. Kontaminan dan sulitnya merekayasa iklim kumbung menjadi faktor lain yang berpengaruh terhadap menurunnya jumlah dan lama produksi jamur merang. Analysis of the Length of Use of Kumbung on the Productivity of Straw Mushrooms (Volvariella volvaceae) Abstract The environment, the quality of the media, the inoculation technique of seedlings and the quality of seedlings are some of the factors that affect the productivity of the straw mushrooms. Environmental conditions are one of the main factors. Ideal environmental conditions must be maintained by straw mushroom farmers, the production of straw mushrooms remains as stable as possible. Room temperature is a factor that must be considered to maintain the growth and development of straw mushrooms. Room temperature can be ideal if the condition of the kumbung and the quality of the media are maintained. This researcher aims to analyze the productivity of the kumbung during the first year of production. Productivity is measured through the length of production and the mass of the acquired straw mushroom. The average production of straw mushrooms in each month is 103.7 Kg with an average production duration of 30 days.  The correlation between the amount of production and the duration of harvest is positively correlated with the calculated R value of 0.978>R table 0.4575.  Based on field studies and data analysis, the amount of production is positively correlated with the length of harvest and mushroom production and will decrease with age. The decline in productivity is due to the decline in the quality of the growing media. Contaminants and the difficulty of engineering a continuous climate are other factors that influence the decrease in the number and duration of straw mushroom production.

Abstract

Pupuk organic cair merupakan pupuk yang berupa larutan dari hasil pembusukan bahan-bahan organik. Kombinasi whey tahu dan limbah jamur merang dengan penambahan starter mikroorganisme lokal (MOL) dapat diolah menjadi pupuk organik cair mengandung makro nutrient Kalium (K-total). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kandungan kalium optimum pada pupuk organik cair whey tahu dengan penambahan limbah jamur merang dan mikroorganisme lokal (MOL). Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian eksperimen di laboratorium dengan menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan dua: faktor 1 massa limbah jamur merang (Limbah jamur merang lama 600 gr dan limbah jamur merang baru 600 gr) dan faktor 2 volume pupuk organik cair (masing-masing 1L). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kandungan K-total tinggi terdapat pada perlakuan POC + LB yaitu 1,05%.The effect of the addition of mushroom waste media in liquid organic fertilizer to the concentration of cassava AbstractLiquid organic fertilizer is a fertilizer in the form of a solution from the decay of organic matter. This research method used experimental research in the laboratory using the Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method with two: a factor of 1 mass of mushroom waste (600 gr old mushroom waste and 600 gr new mushroom waste) and a factor of 2 volume of liquid organic fertilizer (each -Each 1L). The results showed that the high total K content found in the POC + LB treatment was 1.05%.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi dan karakterisasi biodiesel dari miyak jelantah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriftif kualitatif. Variabel yang diamati dalam penelitian ini antara lain senyawa kimia dan struktur molekul penyusun biodiesel dari minyak jelantah. Penentuan senyawa-seyawa kimia serta struktur molekul penyusun biodiesel dari minyak jelantah diukur menggunakan instrument GC-MS. Hasil pengukuran selanjutnya dijadikan dasar dalam mengidentifikasi krakter biodiesel. Komponen tertinggi berupa senyawa asam lemak. Asam lemak berupa asam oktadekanoat  dengan % area 45,10, selanjutnya metil ester heksadekanoat dengan % area 35,99%.  Komponen ketiga dengan jumlah tertinggi berupa senyawa metil ester oktadekanoat dengan % area 9,42.  Komponen keempat berupa metil ester tetradekanoat dengan % area 3,43. Metil ester C16 masih rendah yaitu sebesar 35,99%. Karakter biodiesel dari minyak jelahtah masih banyak mengandung asam lemak bebas golongan oktadekanoat dan konsenterasi C16 yang menjadi dasar kemudahan biodiesel untuk terbakar masih rendah. Identification of Characteristics of Used Cooking Oil Biodiesel Using Gas Chromatography Mass Spectroscopy (GC-MS) Instruments Abstract The purpose of this study is to identify and characterize biodiesel from used cooking noodles. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The variables observed in this study include chemical compounds and the molecular structure of biodiesel constituents from used cooking oil. The determination of chemical compounds and the molecular structure of biodiesel constituents of used cooking oil was measured using the GC-MS instrument. The results of the next measurement are used as a basis in identifying biodiesel krakters. The highest component is in the form of fatty acid compounds. Fatty acids are octadecanoic acid with a % area of 45.10, then methyl hexadecanoic ester with a % area of 35.99%. The third component with the highest amount is the octachonate methyl ester compound with a % area of 9.42. The fourth component is methyl ester tetradecanoate with % area 3.43. Methyl ester C16 is still low at 35.99%. The character of biodiesel from used cooking oil still contains a lot of free fatty acids of the octadecanoic group and C16 concentration, which is the basis for the ease of biodiesel to burn is still low.

Abstract

Jamur merang merupakan tumbuhan dengan mengambail nutrisi dari media tanamnya. Jamur merang tidak memiliki klorofil seingga sangat bergantung pada media tanamnya dan lingkungan sekitar untuk tumbuh dengan optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi media tanam dan lingkungan jamur merang terhadap pertumbuhan jamur merang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriftif eksperimen. Varibel yang diamati adalah tumbuh kembang jamur merang. Varibel yang mempengaruhi adalah komposisi media tanam dan kondisi lingkungan kumbung jamur merang. Penelitian ini dilakukan dikumbung jamur merang dusun repok tunjang dusun taman indah. Pengaruh perbedaan komposisi media tanam dilakukan pada satu kumbung. Pengaruh paparan cahaya matahari dilakukan pada kumbung jamur yang berbeda. Cahaya matahari yang digunakan hanya cahaya dipagi hari. Pengaturan cahaya dilakukan dengan teknik membuka dan menutup tirai kumbung. Data diambil dengan cara dokumentasi pertumbuhan jamur, kalkulasi produksi jamur dan lama simpan jamur.  Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan ditemukan komposisi media tanam dan kondisi lingkungan sangat berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan jamur merang. Temuan didasarkan pada perbedaan pertumbuhan miselium, kualiatas jamur, volume produksi jamur merang. Media tanam yang diberi ampas sagu lebih disukai oleh jamur merang ditandai dengan pertumbuhan miselium, kualitas dan produksi jamur merang yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan media tanam tampa ampas sagu. Kumbung yang diberikan cahaya matahari berlebih berdampak signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan jamur merang. Jamur merang yang terpapar sinar matahari tidak tumbuh dengan baik. Indikatornya jamur menjadi sedikit hitam dan daya simpannya berkurang. Nutrisi dan lingkungan memberikan dampak yang signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan jamur merang yang optimal. Ideal Conditions for Growing Mushrooms Abstract Mushroom is a plant that takes nutrients from its planting medium. Mushrooms do not have chlorophyll so they are very dependent on the growing media and the surrounding environment to grow optimally. This study aims to identify the planting medium and the environment for straw mushroom growth. This research is an experimental descriptive research. The variable observed was the growth and development of the mushroom. Variables that influence are the composition of the growing media and the environmental conditions of the mushroom kumbung. This research was conducted in the repok tunjang mushroom hamlet of Taman Indah hamlet. The effect of differences in the composition of the planting medium was carried out in one kumbung. The effect of exposure to sunlight was carried out on different mushroom houses. Sunlight is used only in the morning. Setting the light is done by opening and closing the curtain kumbung. Data was collected by documenting mushroom growth, calculating mushroom production and mushroom shelf life. Based on the research that has been done, it was found that the composition of the growing media and environmental conditions greatly influence the growth of straw mushroom. The findings are based on differences in mycelium growth, mushroom quality, and mushroom production volume. The planting medium that was given sago pulp was preferred by the straw mushroom which was characterized by the growth of mycelium, the quality and production of the straw mushroom which was higher than the growing medium without sago pulp. Kumbung which is given excess sunlight has a significant impact on the growth of straw mushroom. Mushrooms exposed to sunlight do not grow well. The indicator is that the mushroom turns a little black and its shelf life is reduced. Nutrition and the environment have a significant impact on optimal straw mushroom growth.

Abstract

This study aims to identify students' competency in understanding the formal charge and reactivity of organic molecules through algorithm-based learning and mathematical formulations. A quasi-experimental pretest–posttest design was used with Chemistry Education students who had taken the topic of chemical bonding and Lewis structures. Essay and multiple-choice tests were used to measure the accuracy of Lewis structures, formal charge calculations, charge symbol interpretation, and reactivity predictions. The pretest results showed an average student score of 32.4, while the posttest score increased to 74.1, with an N-gain of 0.62 (moderate–high category). Students showed significant improvement in identifying reactivity centers (electrophilic/nucleophilic) and linking charge distribution to structural stability. The application of algorithms also strengthened their ability to visualize electronic structures, particularly in the context of sp3and sp3 hybridization. Computational chemistry simulations helped students develop stronger symbolic and predictive representations of chemical reactions. This study concludes that the integration of algorithms and symbolic approaches in learning effectively improves students' conceptual and computational literacy in organic chemistry.
