Abstract

Developing a learning model at an early stage requires a needs analysis to identify the needs required by teachers, students and the applicable curriculum. This research aims find out how to implement learning models in schools in order to accommodate the learning needs of the 21st Century. The research subjects were chemistry teachers and students studying chemistry at high school level in Southwest Aceh Regency, Aceh Province. Overall, the research used the ADDIE approach, initial analysis carried out data collection using a questionnaire in the form of a questionnaire distributed via Google Form. The data obtained is the first step in further research. Based on the research results obtained, 64.3% of teachers have implemented learning that stimulates students to think at a higher level. as many as 51.7% of teachers have implemented learning models in teaching chemistry; 78.6% knew something about STEM learning, 7.1% did not know; as many as 57.1% have tried STEM learning but 50% are not satisfied with the results achieved; 85.5% acknowledged difficulties in implementing STEM in the classroom; 50% believe the STEM model influences students' thinking skills; 92.9% need a STEM integrated project learning model book. Meanwhile, of the students who obtained the results: 42.5% stated that they had difficulty understanding chemistry; 92.5% are happy if chemistry learning is connected to the real world; 92.5% stated that school textbooks were a learning resource; 55% experienced learning obstacles based on school learning resources; 90% need a learning model that connects chemical material with the real world.

Abstract

Penelitin ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kebutuhan dan mengembangkan media belajar yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan belajar abad 21 siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan model ADDIE, namun pada penelitian ini hanya dilaksanakan sampai pada tahap pengembangan (development). Berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan yang diperoleh melalui wawancara dan pengisian angket oleh guru kimia juga siswa kelas XII di SMA Negeri 18 Medan, sebanyak 66% siswa membutuhkan pengembangan sebuah media belajar berbantuan augmented reality (AR) yang dapat diakses melalui mobile siswa. Media belajar mobile Augmented Reality (AR) ini mampu menggabungkan dunia maya dengan dunia nyata, sehingga dapat memberikan pengalaman belajar yang nyata melalui interaksi langsung dengan objek yang sedang dipelajari. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah produk media belajar belajar berbantuan Augmented Reality (AR) yang markerless dipadukan dengan e-modul yang dilengkapi video pembelajaran yang menarik, lembar kerja peserta didik, penilaian kuantitatif dan juga rangkuman materi pelajaran. Melalui menu AR Camera siswa dapat beriteraksi langsung dengan beberapa contoh dari senyawa turunan alkana, yang dilengkapi dengan icon zom in dan zoom out, serta siswa dapat merotasi molekul tersebut sehingga dapat melihat dengan jelas seluruh bentuk molekulnya. Keseluruhan menu tersebut digabungkan dalam satu media belajar yang dapat diakses siswa melalui mobile device mereka. Adanya pembelajaran nyata, dapat meningkatkan keterampilan abad 21 siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur dan mendeteksi miskonsepsi siswa yang terjadi pada konsep laju reaksi berdasarkan hasil diagnosis siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 9 Medan dan menunjukkan sub konsep yang mengalami miskonsepsi tinggi maupun rendah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada November-Desember 2021. Jenis Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan pengembangan Borg & Gall. Metode yang digunakan adalah tes, kuesioner, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Prosedur penelitian dimulai dengan pengumpulan data dan studi literatur, deskripsi dan desain produk, validasi produk oleh ahli, uji coba skala kecil, analisis dan revisi produk, uji coba skala luas. Hasil validasi oleh validator menunjukkan instrumen yang dikembangkan valid. Validitas tes yang dikembangkan diperoleh 20 butir soal valid dan 10 butir soal yang tidak valid. Hasil analisis miskonsepsi dan pemahaman konsep siswa SMA Negeri 9 Medan secara keseluruhan adalah 40 persen miskonsepsi, 35 persen paham konsep, dan 25 persen tidak paham konsep. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa instrumen tes diagnostik three-tier berbasis android based test dapat digunakan untuk menganalisis miskonsepsi dan pemahaman konsep siswa pda materi laju reaksi dengan menggunakan interpretasi kombinasi jawaban siswa.

Abstract

Supervisi guru memberikan dampak bagi pengembangan profesionalitasnya. Pelaksanaan supervisi dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah secara periodik. Kegiatan ini merupakan aspek penting dari pengawasan pendidikan, dengan tujuan meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan pelaksanaan supervisi akademik di taman kanak-kanak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus di empat sekolah. Analisis data dilakukan dengan dengan cara reduksi data (data reduction), penyajian data (data display) dan penarikan kesimpulan (conclusion drawing verification) yang dilakukan secara bersamaan Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan supervisi akademik di TK ditemukan beberapa tema di antaranya perencanaan supervisi, ruang lingkup, dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi supervisi. Implikasi hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai acuan bagi sekolah untuk melakukan supervisi guru. Selain itu, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi dapat menjadi referensi kebijakan bagi dinas pendidikan untuk dapat meningkatkan kualitas guru

Abstract

Pendidikan di era sekarang telah memberikan dampak yang cukup besar terhadap sektor kehidupan. Untuk menghindari bertambahnya kasus, Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan telah membuat kebijakan tentang proses belajar mengajar yang dilakukan secara Blended Learning. Dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran tersebut, diperlukan media pembelajaran yang tepat, agar pembelajaran tetap dapat berjalan dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi peserta didik terhadap multimedia interaktif berbasis android kelas X SMA. Jenis penelitian adalah deskripsi kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Binjai Langkat, Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X IPA 1 sebanyak 34 orang. Data dikumpulkan dengan instrumen angket menggunakan skala likert. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar angket persepsi peserta didik serta data dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rerata dari 10 pertanyaan di lembar angket peserta didik 88% termasuk kriteria sangat baik.

Abstract

This study aims to fulfill the requirement for improving chemistry instruction materials for SMA classes, and the study's findings will be consulted for further information in the development of electronic chemistry teaching materials. A qualitative descriptive method was employed in the study. Four secondary schools participated in this study in Medan City by interviewing four teachers from each school and observing the IPA-X class with 80 students. It has been done. As the Study shows, teachers still use traditional teaching methods and only use school-published textbooks. The teaching materials must be revised, as students still use electronic media in 48.9% of the survey results. I found that they made use of the training materials provided. The required percentage is 53.6%. These results demonstrate the need to develop electronic materials that help students comprehend the subject matter and facilitate learning and exploring the learning process.

Abstract

: This study aims to determine the effect of the Stad Type Cooperative learning model assisted by video media on student learning outcomes on reaction rate material in high school.  This research was conducted with a quasi-experimental method of two group pretes-posttes design. The sampling technique used random sampling technique. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely XI-IPA1 and XI-IPA2 classes, each consisting of 31 students. Class XI-IPA1 was the experimental class taught using the stad type cooperative learning model. While class XI-IPA2 was the control class taught with conventional learning. The research instruments used were non-test and test. The test instrument was used to determine the knowledge of students in the cognitive domain, as many as 20 items with four choices that have been tested for feasibility. The non-test instrument used is a questionnaire to measure student learning independence.  The pretest and post-test data of student learning outcomes in the experimental class were 40.5 and 84.5 while the control class data were 40.7 and 67.5. The percentage increase in n-Gain of student learning outcomes in the experimental class was 75% with a high category and the control class was 47% respectively with a medium category. Meanwhile, the percentage increase in N-gain of student learning independence in the experimental and control classes was 71% and 51% in the high and medium categories. There is a positive correlation between student learning independence and student learning outcomes, namely 0.635 with a moderate category.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using Android-based Smart App Creator media with the STAD type cooperative learning model on students' learning outcomes and interest in chemical bonding material. The research was carried out from September to December 2023 at SMA Negeri 1 Silima Pungga-Pungga. This research uses a test instrument in the form of multiplechoice questions with 20 questions and a non-test in the form of a learning interest questionnaire with 30 statements. The sampling technique used in this research is random sampling, namely random sampling. The research sample was students in classes X-1 and X-6, totaling 36 people in each class. Hypothesis I test uses the right-sided t-test with the research results obtained by the value tcount > ttable, namely 5,36 > 1,666. Hypothesis II test uses the right-sided t-test with the research results obtained tcount > ttable, namely 11,57 > 1,666. Hypothesis Test III uses a correlation formula with the research results obtained rcount > rtable, namely 0,547 > 0,339. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on students' learning outcomes and interest in learning using Android-based Smart App Creator media with the STAD type cooperative learning model on chemical bond material and there is a relationship between students' learning interest and student learning outcomes taught using the media. Abstract

Massive technological development is something that cannot be avoided in this life, because technological development is in line with scientific progress. Indonesia is a country that has abundant energy of various kinds source. Currently, energy use in Indonesia still comes from oil and gas earth, as well as coal which is non-renewable resources. Dependence on energy becomes main problem in energy supply national. Considering the need for it fuel every year continues has increased and is necessary anticipation of the availability of energy sources which is getting thinner while the price fuel oil increases. Every country in the world is now focusing on energy production through non-conventional sources. Biomass is an alternative energy source to replace fossil fuels (oil earth) because it has several beneficial properties, including being able to be utilized economically sustainable because of its renewable nature, no contains sulfur so the biomass does not cause air pollution. Besides being able to reduce waste, if managed properly biomass has high potential to be used as an alternative energy source in the form of biobriquettes. The method used in this research includes the preparation of salak skin raw materials, the carbonisation stage of salak skin, the starch adhesive preparation stage and the salak skin analysis stage, namely the analysis of calorific value and burning rate. Based on the results of the calorific value analysis and combustion rate analysis, it can be concluded that the biobriquette sample of salak skin with starch adhesive has met the provisions of the SNI No. 01-6235-2000 on charcoal biobriquettes. From the results of the study, it was also found that the Biobriket B sample, namely by using adhesive, has a high calorific value and burning rate compared to Biobriket A, namely without using adhesive.
