Dyspepsia is a disease with one or more symptoms relating to abnormalities in gastroduodenal. One of the factors that influence dyspepsia is Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori). Clarithromycin-based triple therapy is recommended as first line eradication treatment. Resistance towards clarithromycin is increasing and causing eradication rates in Clarithromycin-based triple therapy to decrease. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of triple therapy variation on dyspepsia with H. pylori infection. Data was collected through literature searches on two different databases using the preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses Protocols (PRISMA-P) 2020. This systematic review included all relevant articles from 2011-2021. Six studies met the inclusion criteria. The results showed that metronidazole-based triple therapy is effective in eradicating H. pylori due to its eradication rate surpassing the target rate of 80%. The highest eradication rates in intention-to-treat (ITT) and per-protocol (PP) were 94.3% and 93.5%, respectively. The best triple therapy composition is metronidazole-based triple therapy with 7 days of duration.

Sekolah Inklusi Sentra Salsabila provides curriculum and infrastructure to support children with special needs and normal children receiving education together. The COVID-19 pandemic impacts students’ lives, students can experience nutritional problems due to family economic crises and learning problems due to activities restriction outside the home. Situations that have changed significantly during the pandemic can cause stress and health problems in children. Community service activities (CSA) are carried out so that the school knows the health status of students and parents of students have sufficient knowledge as a first step to make efforts to improve students' adaptation to learning. Parents of students are given counseling about adolescent mental health, balanced nutrition, and worm infections. Students’ body composition was measured using Tanita MC-980 MA, then stress and resilience levels were measured using Heart Rate Variability Analyzer-Medicore SA 3000P. The results of the CSA show that parents of students already have sufficient knowledge, and it is known that some students need intervention related to their physical and mental health status. It can be concluded that this CSA succeeded in helping schools and parents to plan intervention steps to improve students’ adaptation to learning.

The severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) has infected the human system resulting in Covid-19, and has spread rapidly worldwide. Therefore, a fast, simple, cost-effective, and accurate detecting tool is required. The standard diagnostic tool of the World Health Organization is the reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). This method detects the presence of viral genetic material in the human body with accurate results. However, it has several limitations in terms of equipment, personnel, duration, and cost. Therefore, a fast, simple, and sensitive alternative detection, is required, one of which is the reverse transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification (RT-LAMP) that functions under isothermal conditions. This method is battery-driven, hence, easy to move closer to the patient. Conclusively, the RT-LAMP test for SARS CoV-2 diagnosis produces comparable sensitivity to a standard RT-PCR and is more suitable for resource-poor settings, such as rural areas of developing countries.

AbstractIncreased blood sugar levels can be triggered by increased intake or insulin resistance, leading to increased oxidative stress that affects sperm quality during spermatogenesis. Moringa oleifera, rich in antioxidants, has been proven effective in improving sperm quality through several studies. This study aims to evaluate the influence of moringa leaf extract on sperm morphology and the reduction of blood sugar levels in Sprague Dawley white rats (Rattus norvegicus) induced by alloxan. Fasting blood sugar tests showed that rats induced with alloxan without moringa leaf extract had the highest blood sugar levels among the groups. In contrast, the negative control and treatment groups with moringa leaf extract successfully maintained blood sugar levels at normal levels. Normal sperm morphology reached 94.5% in the treatment group with the highest dose of moringa leaf extract. The results of the study indicate a significant relationship between blood sugar levels and sperm morphology in alloxan-induced white rats after the administration of moringa leaf extract. Moringa oleifera has the potential to be a therapeutic intervention to improve sperm quality and control blood sugar levels in hyperglycemic conditions.

ESBL-producing K. pneumoniae and E. coli are the Enterobacteriaceae that most commonly cause bacteriemia and nosocomial infections in the world. It is important to be aware of these bacteria to prevent an increase in infections with these resistant bacteria in hospitals. This research is a retrospective descriptive study, aiming to determine the prevalence of ESBL produced by K. Pneumoniae and E. coli and their sensitivity patterns. The data comes from clinical specimens that were examined for bacterial culture and antibiotic sensitivity tests in the Clinical Pathology Microbiology Lab in 2021. ESBL test using VITEK 2 compact tool. The results of the research were that E. coli was the most ESBL producing bacteria (50.9%) while K. pneumoniae was 20.9%. The highest prevalence of positive ESBL came from the ICU (41.4%) and the surgical ward (40.8%). Almost all rooms from which specimens were sent had a higher prevalence of positive ESBL E.coli, while for K.pneumoniae negative ESBL was higher. The most common types of positive specimens were bronchial lavage (67.4%) and wound swab (47.1%). Antibiotics that have high sensitivity to ESBL positive bacteria are Amikacin, Tigecycline and Meropenem. This research shows an increase in the prevalence of ESBL-producing K. pneumoniae and E. coli at the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital, although it is still lower than several other national referral hospitals. Infection control, rational use of antimicrobials and prevention of transmission must continue to be pursued to reduce its prevalence.
