This study aims to analyze the influence of students' historical empathy preferences with elements of the student profile of Pancasila and the suitability of historical empathy aspects to achieve a student profile of Pancasila. This study uses a quantitative method to determine the effect of historical empathy on the achievement of Pancasila's student profile. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire referring to aspects of historical empathy and elements/sub-elements of the student profile of Pancasila. The results showed a significant influence on the achievement of historical empathy with the achievement of the student profile of Pancasila. Using three elements/sub-elements in this analysis shows the empirical contribution of the historical empathy aspect in achieving the student profile of Pancasila. The study results confirm that historical empathy can be used to achieve Pancasila's student profile.

This Android-based local history teaching material integrates the character values of Sultan Syarif Kasim II which are in accordance with the needs of history education students. This development research uses a 4D model, developed by Thiagarajan, Dorothy S. Semmel, and Melvyn I. Semmel. This research model consists of 4 steps, namely: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The first step is to conduct a preliminary study with a qualitative descriptive approach. The second step is to design an android-based teaching material product. The third step is product printing, product validation by experts, feasibility trials, and product revisions. The fourth step is to disseminate the product so that it can be used as lecture material by students of history education in Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Riau.

Abstract

Historical awareness related to Indonesia is mandatory for all Indonesians, namely awareness that we started from the same historical journey of the nation. This research aims to develop the 'CABASA' application as Sragen cultural heritage-based historical learning media is capable of displaying descriptions, as well as photos of cultural heritage. This Development uses three main steps adopted by Borg and Gall: the preliminary stage, the planning stage, and the testing stage. The trial results of the 'CABASA' product developed are suitable for use in the history learning process. The conclusion is the development method adopted in this research is simplified into three main steps. Preliminary development studies and the final stage are product trials. With the product trial results being very feasible, it can be concluded that 'CABASA' can be used as an interactive learning media based on cultural heritage in the Sragen district, which is following current developments where this learning media is straightforward to use.

Abstract

The increasing trend of technological innovation in learning media, in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era makes it easier for students to access knowledge. Historical knowledge is vulnerable to becoming a pseudo-history which is usually narrated in connection with a historical heritage site. Students who do not have the ability to filter knowledge and are limited by direct access to the site will be vulnerable to being exposed to pseudo-history. This research aims to produce learning media that is suitable for use in the classroom. Media in the form of a virtual tour was chosen to facilitate access and improve metacognitive abilities as a filter for students. The research carried out was research and development (R&D) research with a 4-D approach, which was limited to the development stage due to time constraints. Data analysis based on the results of the media feasibility test assessment scores by curriculum expert validators and media expert validators. From a scale of 5, each score of 4.73 was obtained by curriculum experts. while a score of 4.82 was obtained by media experts. The research results show that virtual tour media is very suitable to be used as one of choice of learning media.

Abstract

In Indonesia, with its rich cultural diversity, strengthening identity is increasingly important for both individuals and communities. The integration of local history into learning curriculums is one method to achieve this strengthening of identity. This research aims to examine how the integration of local history can reinforce identity. The study employs a literature review approach, gathering data and information from various sources, including books, articles, and journals. The collected data encompasses theories on identity, previous research on local history integration, and practices of local history integration. The findings indicate that integrating local history strengthens identity in three ways: (1) developing a sense of belonging and connection with the community, (2) enhancing understanding of cultural roots, and (3) developing critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities. The research concludes that the integration of local history is an effective strategy for strengthening identity.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the evolution of collaboration skills in the field of education including publication trends, intellectual structure, and research topics. This study uses the bibliometric method which is part of the literature review, with descriptive data analysis. Analysis was carried out on 723 documents from the Scopus database that had been selected. The results show that the trend of document publications on collaboration skills began to increase at the beginning of the 2001s until reaching the highest number of publications in 2023 with 104 documents. In the early period (1986-2004), there were five schools of thought that became the foundation of its intellectual structure, namely the practice of collaboration, small group learning, learning theory and its implementation, software design, and engineering studies. Meanwhile, in the next period (2005-2023) there are learning theory and its implementation, collaborative learning, interprofessional education, cooperative learning, and computer-supported learning. If the schools of thought in the two periods are compared, it can be seen that there has been an evolution of the intellectual structure of collaboration skills. Evolution also occurred in the collaboration skills research topics, which can be seen from the keywords data that often appeared in the early period, namely active learning, communication skills, and cooperative learning. In the following period, it changed to collaboration, interprofessional education, and higher education. These research findings can provide information regarding the knowledge base of collaboration skills and related research topics that have been carried out.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Virtual-based learning media centered on Sambisari Temple  to enhance the quality of history education. The research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and questionnaires involving 30 tenth-grade students at SMA Angkasa Adisucipto. The data analysis revealed that the Virtual Tour Sambisari Temple  application, developed using tools like Blender, Unity 2022, and Canva, demonstrated high feasibility. The material validation received an average score of 93%, and media validation achieved 79%, both categorized as “feasible”. The trial with students showed an average response score of 81.76% classified as “very practical”. The application features interactives tools, 260-degree visual panoramas, and historical information aligned with the curriculum, presented in an engaging format. It operates both online and offline, allowing students to explore historical sites effectively without visiting the location in person. The findings indicate that the Virtual Tour Sambisari Temple  application enhances students’ understanding of history topics and motivates them to learm through innovative and engaging approaches. This study provides a framework for integrating technology inti learning media, paving the way for future developments in educational technology.
