Abstract

Background: The prevalence of DM sufferers in 2022 is 644,704 people with an average annual value of 874,422.75 in the last 4 years who suffer from DM. The highest incidence of DM in Bandung City in 2022 was in Arcamanik, Central Antapani District at 40.78% (18,527 people). For this reason, preventive measures are needed, one of which is education (health education). Objective: Develop a Balanced Diet e-Booklet media as an effort to prevent diabetes mellitus among teachers at PGTK Anak Ceria Bandung which is suitable for use as a health education media. Method: research method applies the ADDIE methodology to research and development techniques. The total population is 18 teachers at PGTK Anak Ceria Bandung. Results: The Balanced Diet e-Booklet media is in the form of a digital book which is uploaded via the heyzine.com page. Obtained a score of 94. 2% in the Material Experts' very good category and 96.2% in the Media Experts' very decent category. Using the Balanced Diet e-Booklet media has a 63% boost in influence. Conclusion: The Balanced Diet e-Booklet media is in the form of a digital book. The media was declared very good and very appropriate by the Expert and there was an influence of providing the Balanced Diet e-Booklet media to teachers at PGTK Anak Ceria Bandung.

Abstract

Adolescent knowledge about the risk factors of diabetes mellitus is certainly very concerning. In addition, many young people, especially in the school environment, do not know how to take early prevention to avoid diabetes mellitus. This study aims to develop educational media in the form of an electronic pocket book on physical activity that can be implemented as an effort to prevent diabetes mellitus in adolescent, especially student of SMA Kartika XIX-3 Bandung. The method used in this research is the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely analysys, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects in this study were students of SMA Kartika XIX-3 Bandung and the research sample amounted to 66 grade student 10. In this study, students were given knowledge about diabetes mellitus using pretest and posttest question totaling 15 question. Based on the result of the study, students knowledge about the importance of physical activity in preventing diabetes mellitus will increase. This is an increase in knowledge 21%. The result of the pretest obtained a value of 68, while the result of the posttest obtained a value of 89. The use of e-PocketBook media has a significant influence on student knowledge in efforts to prevent diabetes mellitus in adolescent at SMA Kartika XIX-3 Bandung. In addition, the use of e-PocketBook media as a learning media is expected to be an innovative solution in adolescent health education.

Abstract

Background: the data on kidney disease due to DM increased to 8.5% or 853,240 people. Referring to the high number of cases and the management of DM, preventive measures are needed by providing health education, one way to provide a good understanding to adolescents is e-booklet media about healthy eating in an effort to prevent Type 2 DM. Objective: to develop e-booklet media about healthy eating in an effort to prevent Type 2 DM in adolescents that is suitable for use as a health education media. Methodology: the type of research is R&D (Research and Develop). The population is 67 7th grade students of SMPN 2 Pamanukan using the total sampling technique. Parametric statistical analysis using the wilcoxon test. Result: e-booklet media measuring 14.8 x 21 cm. Obtained a score of 88% with a very good category from Material Experts, 87% with a very decent category from Media Experts. There was an influence on the use of e-booklet media  with an increase of 24.03%. Conclusion: the e-booklet media  measures 14.8 x 21 cm. The media was declared very good and very worthy by experts and there was an influence on the provision  of e-booklet media  to teenagers at SMPN 2 Pamanukan.

Abstract

Background: Cases of DM (Diabetes Mellitus) in adolescents continue to grow. Preventive actions that can be taken in adolescence are by providing health information through health counseling regarding prevention that can be done by the adolescent age group to avoid DM disease, especially by consuming fruits and vegetables. Media development is needed to produce products according to the needs so that health education takes place effectively. The uno stacko fruit and vegetable game media is in accordance with the characteristics of adolescence because it can be played directly and done in groups. Objective: To develop Uno Stabar (Uno Stacko Fruit and Vegetable) game on the prevention of Diabetes Mellitus disease in adolescents at SMAN 1 Jalancagak with ADDIE model development research. Methodology: The type of research is R&D (Research and Develop). The population is 212 students of class XI MIPA SMAN 1 Jalancagak using proportionate random sampling technique. Results: Uno Stabar Game Media in the form of blocks with a size of 2.7 cm x 8 cm x 1.5 cm. obtained a score of 90.3% with a very feasible category from material experts, 81.3% with a very feasible category from media experts and 89% with a feasible category from small-scale trials. There is an effect of uno stacko fruit and vegetable game media with an increase of 60.06%. Conclusion: Uno Stabar Game Media is in the form of blocks, made of plastic, contains information on type 2 diabetes mellitus and cartoon images with color tones.

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus or what is called and abbreviated to (DM) is also recognized as "the silent killer" is a chronic disease. The number of DM sufferers in Indonesia is predicted to reach 28.57 million in 2045. The number of DM sufferers in Indonesia is predicted to reach 28.57 million in 2045. Education using e-flipbook media regarding physical activity is one of the measures preventive in preventing type 2 DM in adolescents. Objective: Develop e-flipbook media regarding prevention of type 2 DM with physical activity in adolescents at SMAN 15 Bandung with research into the development of the ADDIE model. Methodology: The type of research is R&D (Research and Develop). The population was 404 class X students at SMAN 15 Bandung using proportionate random sampling technique. Results: E-flipbook media with a horizontal shape and dimensions of 16.26 x 9.14 cm which can be accessed via the Hyzne website. obtained a score of 91% in the "very feasible" category from material experts, 100% in the "very feasible" category from media experts and 89.7% in the appropriate category from small-scale trials. There is an influence of e-flipbook media with an increase of 34.17%. Conclusion: The e-flipbook media contains material about type 2 diabetes mellitus and Artificial Intelligence (AI) images created by yourself, with bright colors. The media was declared to be "very feasible" by experts and there was an influence of providing e-flipbook media regarding type 2 diabetes mellitus.
