Abstract

This study aims to build a model of the spread of pneumonia in SEIR (Susceptible-Exposed-Infected-Recovered) toddlers, analyze the model, and determine the minimum proportion of vaccinations. The data used are data on the number of pneumonia sufferers in toddlers in Makassar City in 2019.The results obtained by the SEIR mathematical model of pneumonia in the form of ordinary differential equation systems; addiction free balance points and addiction balance points which are both stable; basic reproduction numbers for simulations without vaccination greater than 1, which means that the disease still exists in the population, while basic reproduction numbers for simulations with vasksination less than 1, which means the disease will disappear and not spread from the population.

Abstract

This research aims to build a model of the spread of malaria diseases type SEIRS (Susceptible-Exposed-Infected-Recovered-Susceptible) by adding treatment parameters (treatment) in the Exposed class and the assumption that humans who recover can be vulnerable to malaria again. This model is divided into four classes namely, vulnerable, infected but not yet active, infected, and cured. The data used are data on the number of malaria sufferers from the Mimika District Health Office in 2018. The mathematical model of the type SEIRS is used to determine the equilibrium point. Based on the simulation results of the SEIRS model, the basic reproduction number (R0) of 0.09 indicates that the spread of malaria does not cause others to contract malaria.Keywords: , , ,

Abstract

This research is literature study that aims to examine the basic consept of external direct sum of ring, internal direct sum of ring, and properties of direct sum of ring. The study starts from the definitioan of external direct sum and internal direct sum. The main literature used is a book written by B. Hartley and T.O. Hawkes (1970). The result obtained explain and elaborated on the definitons of external direct sum and internal direct sum of ring, theorems about properties of direct sum of ring that accommodate a theorem resulting from the representation of the properties of direct sum of S-Near Ring and direct sum of modules relating to external rirect sum and internal direct sum of ring.

Abstract

Abstract

This study explores the mathematical SFR model to analyze Celebrity Worship Behavior among devoted K-Pop fans. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed within the South Sulawesi Province, providing insights into the dynamics of Celebrity Worship Behavior among K-Pop enthusiasts. The research involves developing an SFR model with time delays, followed by a series of analyses and simulations related to Celebrity Worship Behavior in the K-Pop community. This comprehensive approach includes identifying equilibrium points, evaluating model stability, calculating the basic reproduction number (R0), conducting simulations using Maple software, and interpreting the simulation results. The SFR mathematical model reveals two equilibrium points: one representing the baseline level of Celebrity Worship Behavior among K-Pop fans and the other specific to this behavior. The calculated R0 value of 0.425 suggests a potential decrease in the prevalence of Celebrity Worship Behavior within the K-Pop community.

Abstract

This study focuses on the mathematical SER model capturing the rate of Ammotere Abbaji Case Behavior among individuals associated with Silariang. Primary data is gathered through questionnaires administered directly to the community in South Sulawesi Province, shedding light on the pace of Ammotere Abbaji Case Behavior among those involved with Silariang. The research journey starts with the construction of the SER model, followed by an analysis and simulation of the Ammotere Abbaji Case Behavior among Silariang participants. This encompasses identifying equilibrium points, evaluating model stability, computing the basic reproduction number (R0), conducting model simulations using Maple software, and interpreting the simulation results. Within this article, the mathematical SER model emerges through the analytical lens and simulation of Ammotere Abbaji Case Behavior among Silariang participants. Two equilibrium points are discovered: the free equilibrium point of Ammotere Abbaji Case Behavior among Silariang participants, and the equilibrium point specific to this behavior. The calculated basic reproduction number R0=0.045 indicates a decrease in the population engaged in Ammotere Abbaji Case Behavior among Silariang participants.

Abstract

Kegiatan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) berlangsung di desa Mallongi-longi, Kecamatan Lanrisang, Kabupaten Pinrang. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pendapatan Kelompok Tani Mattongeng-Tongeng melalui optimalisasi pemasaran digital. Kelompok tani ini menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam memasarkan produk mereka secara efektif, termasuk keterbatasan akses ke pasar yang lebih luas dan kurangnya pengetahuan tentang strategi pemasaran digital. Oleh karena itu, program ini dirancang untuk memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada anggota kelompok tani dalam mengimplementasikan teknik pemasaran digital seperti penggunaan media sosial, e-commerce, dan optimasi mesin pencari (SEO). Metode yang digunakan meliputi pelatihan tatap muka, workshop, dan pendampingan secara berkelanjutan untuk memastikan transfer pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang efektif. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah 9 dari 10 anggota kelompok tani mengalami memahami keterampilan pemasaran digital dan 3 dari 10 anggota kelompok tani mengalami peningkatan volume penjualan, dan pada akhirnya peningkatan pendapatan. Dengan memanfaatkan teknologi digital, Kelompok Tani Mattongeng-Tongeng dapat memperluas jangkauan pasar mereka dan meningkatkan daya saing produk pertanian mereka di pasar yang lebih luas. Kegiatan ini juga dapat menjadi model inovasi yang dapat direplikasi oleh kelompok tani lain di daerah sekitar

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengembangan dan inovasi model pembelajaran matematika yang berkarakter melalui pelatihan untuk para guru di Kabupaten Majene, Sulawesi Barat. Dengan mengadaptasi pendekatan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia (PMRI), program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas guru dalam pengajaran matematika, sehingga dapat menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang lebih menarik dan relevan bagi siswa. Melalui kegiatan pelatihan dan bimbingan intensif, yang dilaksanakan pada 11- 12 Mei 2024 di SMP Negeri 2 Majene, para guru diharapkan mampu mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan berorientasi pada pengembangan karakter siswa. Kegiatan ini diadakan untuk menjawab permasalahan kurangnya keterampilan dan pengetahuan guru dalam menerapkan pendekatan yang mengaitkan konsep matematika dengan konteks kehidupan nyata siswa, yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Program ini melibatkan 15 guru peserta, dengan hasil yang diharapkan berupa peningkatan kompetensi dan keterampilan guru serta keberlanjutan penerapan model pembelajaran yang lebih efektif di sekolah.

Abstract

This study aims to build a SELR model with a time delay in diabetes cases, analyze the model, and conduct simulations to predict the incidence of diabetes. This study is a combination of theoretical and application studies. The analysis of the SELR model with a time delay is focused on diabetes cases, while the simulation is carried out using Maple Software. The study population was active students of FMIPA UNM, with a sample size of 1,000 students obtained using the Slovin technique. This study produces a mathematical model of SELR with a time delay for diabetes cases represented as a system of differential equations. Model analysis shows the existence of an equilibrium point free from diabetes cases and a stable endemic equilibrium point. In addition, the results of this study found the basic reproduction number (R₀) for cases without a solution of 25.97333855, which means that one individual can affect 25-26 people in the FMIPA UNM environment. However, if the solution is applied, the R₀ value decreases to 0.7502918529, indicating that there is no psychological spread, where each individual does not affect other individuals.

Abstract

This study is to build a time-delay SDIR model on the case of student interest in Organizations and Government Internship Programs, analyze the model and conduct a model simulation to predict the level of student interest cases in Organizations. This study is a theoretical and applied study. Analysis of the time-delay SDIR model of the case of student interest in Organizations, while the model simulation uses Maple Software. The population of the study was active students of FMIPA UNM, with a sample size of 1029 students obtained using the Sloving technique. The results of this study are a mathematical model of SDIR on the case of student interest in Organizations which is a system of differential equations. The model analysis provides a value of the free equilibrium point of the case of student interest in Organizations and a stable endemic equilibrium point. The results also found that the basic reproduction number value for cases without a solution would produce R0n = 9.912507841, which means that in social cases where one individual can influence 9-10 people in their environment to hesitate to participate in organizational activities or internship programs, but on the other hand if the case is given a solution, it will produce R0s = 0.2737372211, which means that there is no psychological spread, where each individual does not influence other individuals.
