Abstract

Littering has become a significant problem that negatively impacts public health and environmental cleanliness. This research introduces an innovative solution using 3D Convolutional Neural Networks (3D CNN) technology to automatically detect littering behavior through real-time CCTV recordings. Two models were developed and tested. Model 1, which employs Conv3D, Batch Normalization, and Dropout, showed high training accuracy but exhibited fluctuations in validation accuracy, indicating potential overfitting. In contrast, Model 2, designed with a simpler structure without Batch Normalization and Dropout, achieved higher classification accuracy and efficiency. Both models significantly contribute to addressing littering in public areas, increasing awareness, and supporting environmental law enforcement. The integration of 3D CNN technology in detecting littering behavior demonstrates its potential to reduce pollution and promote environmentally responsible behavior.

Abstract

This research aims to design a diabetes mellitus early detection tool using IoT-based non-invasive sensors. This tool uses blood pressure sensors and color sensors to detect glucose levels in urine. The data obtained from these sensors is sent to the Arduino Uno microcontroller, displayed on the LCD screen, and saved to the Firebase platform for further monitoring and analysis. The test results show that this tool is able to measure and display blood pressure data and urine glucose levels accurately and in real time so that it can be used as a practical and efficient diabetes mellitus diagnostic tool. This research makes a very important contribution to the development of IoT-based health technology, especially in facilitating early detection of diabetes non-invasively. This research aims to design a diabetes mellitus early detection tool using IoT-based non-invasive sensors.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas pengetahuan komunitas transpuan di Palembang dalam memanfaatkan media sosial sebagai sarana promosi usaha. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif observatif, dengan fokus pada pengamatan langsung terhadap proses peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam membuat konten promosi usaha di media sosial. Kegiatan ini melibatkan penyampaian materi oleh narasumber, praktik langsung pembuatan konten, serta sesi diskusi dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman peserta mengenai strategi promosi digital, pembuatan konten yang menarik, serta interaksi dengan pelanggan melalui platform media sosial seperti Instagram dan TikTok. Kegiatan ini mampu meningkatkan rasa percaya diri komunitas transpuan dalam memperkenalkan produk dan jasa mereka secara lebih luas. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat mendukung kemandirian ekonomi komunitas transpuan di Palembang melalui pemanfaatan teknologi digital.

Abstract

  Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat EduKopi Sriwijaya tidak hanya dirancang sebagai sarana pelatihan, tetapi juga sebagai strategi pembangunan ekonomi lokal yang mengedepankan pendekatan partisipatif dan berkelanjutan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Rumah Kopi Sriwijaya, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan, yang memiliki potensi kopi unggulan dan komunitas penggiat kopi aktif. Melalui kolaborasi antara institusi pendidikan dan komunitas kopi lokal, kegiatan ini membuka ruang interaksi produktif antara akademisi, petani kopi, pelaku UMKM, dan masyarakat umum. Selain memberikan pelatihan teknis, program ini membangun pemahaman peserta terhadap pentingnya nilai tambah kopi, mulai dari branding produk, pengemasan yang menarik, hingga strategi pemasaran berbasis digital. Pendekatan wisata edukatif yang digunakan tidak hanya berfokus pada transfer ilmu, tetapi juga memberikan pengalaman menyeluruh yang menyenangkan dan inspiratif, sehingga menarik minat generasi muda untuk terlibat dalam sektor pertanian kreatif. Dampak jangka pendek yang terlihat adalah tumbuhnya semangat wirausaha berbasis kopi pada beberapa peserta, serta meningkatnya ketertarikan masyarakat terhadap pariwisata tematik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif partisipatif, dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan diskusi kelompok sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Ke depan, EduKopi Sriwijaya diharapkan dapat direplikasi di daerah lain yang memiliki potensi serupa, sebagai bagian dari upaya pelestarian budaya lokal sekaligus pengembangan ekonomi berbasis komunitas.

Abstract

The development of fifth-generation cellular technology, commonly referred to as "5G" networks, is believed to be able to maximize data speed access needs. In order to maximize the utilization of the existing 5G network in Indonesia, Telkomsel providers are using a frequency of 2.3 GHz with a bandwidth of 50 MHz. So we need an antenna amplifier that is easy to fabricate and place anywhere to maximize the signal capture range. A microstrip antenna is a suitable antenna for this amplifier. The advantage of this antenna is that it has a light mass and is easy to fabricate. while the drawbacks come in the form of narrow bandwidth and small gains. Therefore, an antenna design with an artificial substrate and array technique was made to overcome this. The design of this microstrip antenna was made in the CST Studio Suite 2019. The design was carried out by entering the antenna dimension values to be simulated and seeing the parameters; if they are not suitable, then they need to be optimized again, and when they are appropriate, the design results are fabricated and printed. In testing the signal capture power using the Xirrus WiFi Inspector, this antenna was able to capture the signal beam, which was 105 meters or 40 meters further than not using the antenna. In addition, from testing, it is known that this antenna has a gain of 16.15 dBi. While in the simulation, it is also known that this antenna has the following characteristics: return loss: -32,353 dB (S11), -32,737 dB (S22), -33,974 dB (S33), -34,423 dB (S44), VSWR: 1,049 (VSWR 1), 1,047 (VSWR 2), 1.040 (VSWR 3), 1.038 (VSWR 4), impedance: 50.7 -111 MHz.

Abstract

In this study, designing a health monitoring system with an Android-based Application of Health Detector (AHD) application. The data displayed is an input for multi-sensor readings from the detection of body health. From the detected health, it will provide a determination of the body's health condition, using the fuzzy mandani algorithm. The variables calculated were age, gender, heart rate, body temperature, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, and blood oxygen levels. The stages of the fuzzy mamdani method in determining body health conditions include the formation of fuzzy sets, application of implications functions, and composition of rules. From the results of this study, it was found that the age factor affects health conditions. Older people tend to have indications of health conditions, only some of them have indicated health conditions, and almost all of them have healthy health conditions. The level of accuracy of the fuzzy mamdani method in this study was 85.18%. This is because in this study many variables are used which causes many rules to be made so that they are prone to errors.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) hold a strategic role in the national economy but continue to face challenges in accessing international markets, securing funding, managing legal compliance, and understanding export procedures. The UMKM Go Export Seminar with Bank Sumsel Babel 2025 was conducted to strengthen the capacity of MSME actors to penetrate the global market, featuring speaker Dewi Ekha Harlasyanti, S.H. This activity aimed to provide knowledge on export strategies for local products, optimization of digital marketing, legal business management, and appropriate product packaging for export standards. The seminar was conducted using a descriptive qualitative observational method through discussion sessions, material presentations, and participant satisfaction evaluations. The target audience consisted of MSMEs in the South Sumatra, focusing on improving product competitiveness for export purposes. The seminar resulted in increased understanding among participants regarding small-scale export opportunities, flexible payment systems, strategies for finding international buyers through social media, and the importance of mastering product specifications. The involvement of Bank Sumsel Babel in offering financial support further facilitated better access to capital for MSMEs. This activity contributed to improving the readiness of local MSMEs to initiate the export process progressively, thereby enhancing the region’s product contribution to global trade.

Abstract

This research aims to discuss the application of multi-sensor network technology for the monitoring of indoor air pollution. Indoor air pollution has become a severe problem that affects public health, especially indoor parking. The indoor air pollution monitoring system will provide information about vehicle exhaust emission levels. We have improved the system to identify six parameters of the vehicles' gas emissions within a different location at once. This research aimed to measure the parameter of Carbon Monoxide (CO), Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Hydro Carbon (HC), temperature and humidity, and levels of particulates in the air (PM10). The performance of this system shows good ability to compare the results of measurements of air quality measuring professionals. In this study, we investigated the performance of a custombuilt prototype developed under the android-based application to detect air pollution levels in the parking area. Our objective was to evaluate the suitability of a low-cost multi-sensor network for monitoring air pollution in parking and the other area. The benefit of our approach is that its time and space complexity make it valuable and efficient for real-time monitoring of air pollution.

Abstract

Littering is a human behavior that become a habit since childhood. Even though there are rules that prohibit this behavior, the community still continues to do so. In order to limit this bad behavior, a device that can monitor and provide notifications is needed. In this research, proposed device can identify human activities by utilizing webcam-based image processing. It is processed by machine learning using the Recurrent Neural Network (RNN). The monitoring device produced in this research works by comparing the captured image data with dataset. The captured image data are extracted into figures and form several coordinate points on the human body. Then, the system classifies the human activities into two categories, i.e., normal or littering. This device will provide an output in the form of a ewarning every time the activity of littering is detected.
