Abstract

WBAN (Wireless Body Area Network) technology is used in this study to provide an integrated health monitoring platform. The device utilizes MLX90615 for measuring body temperature, a Blood Pressure Sensor for measuring blood pressure and pulse rate, and a MAX30102 Sensor for measuring blood oxygen and blood glucose levels. The output of this utility is displayed on an OLED screen and is controlled by the NODEMCU ESP8266. The test reveals an accuracy of 94.8%, indicating that the instrument can provide accurate results and has a relatively low error rate on each sensor. Heart Rate Error on Blood Pressure Sensor 0; Spo2 Error on MAX 30102 Sensor 1; and Blood Sugar Error on MAX 30102 Sensor 2.0. Real-time health monitoring that is more accurate and efficient. This device has the potential to be a practical solution for routine health monitoring and provides significant benefits for maintaining health.

Abstract

The role of telecommunications in facilitating communication and information exchange is very important, especially in emergencies such as natural disasters and unexpected events in the community. The application of mobile technologies such as apps is an alternative to improve response and address such issues. Mobile technology allows people to easily report disaster events or security issues through apps or short message services. The application of this technology supports faster communication between the community and Babinsa. Communities can quickly submit reports, convey important information, and share photos or videos as evidence of events. The reporting application is an implementation of mobile technology that can be more efficient in responding to reports and taking the necessary actions based on the information received to facilitate two-way communication between officers and the community. This research was conducted to develop an application that can facilitate the community and babinsa in responding to an event more efficiently, the results of this development prove that the application has an efficiency level of around 75% and also the learnability level reaches 80% which indicates that the application is ready to be launched to the general public and can be easily used for all groups.

Abstract

Traffic accidents are a severe problem that often results in loss of life and property damage. Efforts to overcome this situation require real-time vehicle monitoring with the capture and collection of relevant data to provide information about the driver and family at home to reduce the risk of accidents by identifying potentially dangerous vehicle conditions automatically and quickly. This research utilizes Long Short Term Memory technology to analyze sensor data installed in the vehicle to an android device to be classified according to three conditions that recognize vehicle conditions as safe, alert, or dangerous. The Long Short Term Memory model used achieved a high level of accuracy with a value of 99.96% when training on data. After testing, this model still has a good level of accuracy with a value of 93.3%. In the test, the precision value of each class is 83.33% for the safe class, 80% for the danger class, and 100% for the alert class. In indicating that Long Short Term Memory in this study is very efficient in identifying and classifying vehicle conditions to reduce potential accidents. The information processed by Long Short Term Memory will be transmitted to an Android application capable of delivering up-to-date insights into the vehicle's condition. This app incorporates cautionary alerts in the presence of potential accident indicators to aid in vigilance and accident prevention. The integration of this system aims to enhance road safety and diminish the occurrence of accidents resulting from suboptimal vehicle conditions or hazardous driver conduct. This application can provide convenience for vehicle owners to know the state of the vehicle in real-time remotely in optimal conditions.

Abstract

AbstrakParu-paru merupakan organ tubuh pada manusia dalam menjalankan sistem respirasi (pernapasan), dan berfungsi sebagai bertukarnya oksigen dan karbondioksida. Untuk mendeteksi suara paru-paru diperlukan stetoskop sebagai alat untuk mendengarkan suara pada paru-paru. Teknik ini disebut sebagai auskultasi, dimana pada teknik ini banyak batasan dan kekurangan. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut maka pada penelitian ini diusulkan sebuah teknik auskultasi yang dimodifikasi dengan electret condenser microphone untuk menangkap suara pada paru-paru. Tipe yang digunakan electret condenser microphone yaitu unidirectional (cardioid). Sinyal listrik yang dihasilkan oleh electret condenser microphone dikuatkan lagi menggunakan pre-amplifier karna sinyal listrik yang dihasilkan electrets condenser microphone sangat kecil. Pre-amplifier yang digunakan yaitu tube ultragain mic100. Sinyal yang dikuatkan dengan pre-amplifier masih berbentuk sinyal listrik, sinyal listrik ini akan diproses di DSP untuk mengubah sinyal menjadi data diskrit untuk mengubah sinyal suara ke sinyal listrik analog. Sinyal analog akan diubah melalui unit ADC agar dapat berubah menjadi sinyal digital kemudian DSP akan menerima sinyal digital dan memproses data digital tersebut yang kemudian sinyal disimpan dalam bentuk  file .wav. File .wav yang disimpan kemudian dipindahkan ke android melalui RobotDyn UNO+WIFI sebagai media komunikasi. RobotDyn UNO+WIFI yang digunakan yaitu tipe  ATmega328p+ESP8266 CH340G, file .Wav diproses dan diputar untuk dapat divisualisasikan pada android sehingga mempermudah dokter dalam menganalisa suara paru-paru pasien.  Kata kunci:  Suara paru-paru, Stetoskop, Electret Condenser Microphone, Pre-Amplifier dan DSP TMS320C6416T, dan RobotDyn UNO+WIFI ATmega328p+ESP8266 CH340G. AbstractThe lungs are organs in the human body in carrying out the respiratory system (breathing).  It function as the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide. To detect lung sounds, a stethoscope is needed as a tool to listen the sounds in the lungs. This technique is called auscultation.  In this technique, there are many limitations and disadvantages. Thus, to overcome this problem, this study proposed an auscultation technique modified with an electret condenser microphone to capture sounds in the lungs. The type used by the electret condenser microphone is unidirectional (cardioid). The electrical signal generated by the electret condenser microphone is amplified using a pre-amplifier because the electrical signal generated by the electrets condenser microphone is very small. The pre-amplifier used is the mic100 ultragain tube. The signal that is amplified by the pre-amplifier is still in the form of an electrical signal, this electrical signal will be processed on the DSP to convert the signal into discrete data to convert the sound signal to an analog electrical signal. The analog signal will be converted through the ADC unit so that it can be transformed into a digital signal then the DSP will receive a digital signal and process the digital data which is then stored in the form of a .wav file. The saved .wav file is then transferred to android via RobotDyn UNO + WIFI as a communication medium. RobotDyn UNO + WIFI used is the type ATmega328p + ESP8266 CH340G, .Wav files are processed and played so that it can be visualized on Android making it easier for doctors to analyze the sound of a patient's lungs. Keywords:  Lung sounds, Stethoscope, Electret Condenser Microphone, Pre-Amplifier and DSP TMS320C6416T, and RobotDyn UNO + WIFI ATmega328p + ESP8266 CH340G.

Abstract

AbstrakSTARBOT (Smart trash can robot) merupakan robot kotak sampah yang dapat bergerak secara otomatis berdasarkan perintah yang diberikan user dan akan bergerak menuju suatu ruangan yang telah ditentukan. Robot ini menggunakan otak pengoperasian Raspberry Pi dan dilengkapi dengan penangkap citra Webcam yang dapat mengenali objek masing-masing ruangan dengan bentuk dan warna yang berbeda. Citra yang ditangkap oleh Webcam diproses menggunakan metode HSV. Nilai HSV didapatkan melalui proses sampling warna, konversi algoritma transformasi ruang warna secara perhitungan, dan simulasi menggunakan trackbar. Proses pengolahan citra yang ditangkap kamera juga memanfaatkan metode radius untuk menentukan jarak minimum antara tanda yang terdapat pada masing-masing ruangan dengan robot. Penggunaan metode HSV dipilih untuk mempermudah pendeteksian warna dalam berbagai kondisi baik dengan intensitas cahaya yang rendah maupun yang tinggi. Kata kunci—3-5 Smart Trash Can, HSV, radius, raspberry pi  AbstractSTARBOT (Smart trash can robot) is a trash box robot that can move automatically based on instructions given by the user and will move to a predetermined room. This robot uses the Raspberry pi as the operating brain and is equipped with a webcam image capture that can recognize objects in each room with different shapes and colors. The image captured by the webcam is processed using the HSV method. The HSV value is obtained through a color sampling process, calculation of the color space transformation algorithm conversion, and simulation using a trackbar. The image processing process captured by the camera also utilizes the radius method to determine the minimum distance between the marks contained in each room and the robot. Abstract

Palembang, as one of the largest cities in Indonesia, regularly experiences severe flooding problems every year. Flooding not only disrupts the daily activities of residents, but also causes significant economic losses and social impacts. To solve this problem, it is crucial to have an in-depth understanding of flooding patterns and some of the factors that influence them. The purpose of this research is to apply highly efficient Machine Learning (ML) technology for the prediction analysis of future flood-prone areas. The integration of ML can help in identifying patterns, predicting risks, and making more accurate decisions in flood mitigation. In an effort to achieve this goal, the CRISP-DM (Cross-Industry Standard Process for Data Mining) methodology will be applied to ensure the research is conducted systematically and comprehensively. Therefore, research on the analysis of mapping flood-prone areas in Palembang using ML is essential to provide a fairly effective and efficient solution to the long-standing flooding problem. With the CRISP-DM approach, it is expected that this research can produce an accurate and reliable prediction model by integrating the Random Forest algorithm as a regression model, and provide long-term benefits for flood risk management in Palembang and several other cities in Indonesia that experience similar problems.

Abstract

The plantation sector is a crucial component of agriculture. However, plantation management faces several challenges, including limited technological integration within agriculture. The adoption of technology in plantations, particularly IoT (Internet of Things)-based monitoring systems, has become a significant trend in recent years. This system is designed to improve the efficiency of Smart Farming, allowing for more optimized management. This study implements the Fuzzy Logic method in a corn plantation monitoring system to address uncertainties and complexities in decision-making. The system integrates hardware and software, enabling real-time monitoring of environmental conditions through a web-based interface. Testing results indicate that the developed system achieves an accuracy level of 97.42%, providing valuable and responsive data to support farmers in decision-making. With this system, farmers can more effectively monitor and manage plantation conditions, potentially increasing productivity and agricultural yield quality.

Abstract

Television is one of the most widely used media for receiving sound and image transmissions worldwide, particularly in Indonesia. Government regulations require all television broadcasters in Indonesia to cease analog broadcasts and transition to digital broadcasts. Consequently, a device known as the Set Top Box (STB), equipped with a low noise amplifier (LNA), converts DVB-T2 digital signals into images and audio suitable for analog televisions. Tests were conducted to evaluate its signal reception capabilities. These tests took place at four Palembang city locations, utilizing indoor and outdoor antennas. The results revealed that the device's signal strength ranged from -48.7 dBm, reaching 100% signal quality, to the weakest signal at -97 dBm. Moreover, an average difference of 6.9 dB was observed between indoor and outdoor testing for each frequency. Furthermore, analyzing the average signal strength based on distance showed that the highest strength of -56.2 dBm occurred at a distance of 1.5 km from the transmitter during outdoor testing. In comparison, the weakest strength of -91.6 dBm occurred at a distance of 1.8 km during indoor testing. Additionally, a signal strength comparison between test locations indicated that the most significant difference was between the Kamboja and Plaju locations. The LNA device achieved its highest gain value of 15.2 dB. Various factors, including antenna direction, obstructions such as buildings, antenna height, signal stability, and the distance between the transmitter and receiver, influence the signal quality.

Abstract

Technological advancements have significantly impacted daily life, particularly in healthcare, where health monitoring devices play a crucial role. This device employs the MLX90614 sensor for measuring body temperature, an EKG sensor for heart rate monitoring, and the MAX30102 sensor for measuring blood oxygen levels. Data generated by these sensors are displayed on an LCD screen and managed using the Arduino Mega 2560 microcontroller. Test results show an impressive accuracy rate of 94.17%, indicating precise outcomes with relatively low error rates for each sensor: 1.05% for heart rate measurement, 2.0% for Spo2 errors with the MAX30102 sensor, and 2.78% for temperature errors with the MLX90614 sensor. With its enhanced capability for real-time and efficient health monitoring, this device has the potential to serve as a practical solution for routine health monitoring, offering significant benefits for maintaining overall health.

Abstract

An efficient and responsive air conditioning control system is essential for maintaining thermal comfort as well as energy efficiency in a room. This research develops an AC control system based on the number of people entering or leaving the room using the PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) algorithm integrated with Internet of Things technology through the Blynk platform. Infrared proximity and temperature sensors are used to detect the number of people in the room and measure the room temperature. This data is then processed by the ESP32 microcontroller which runs the PID algorithm to generate a control signal that will adjust the AC temperature towards the setpoint. This system allows the AC temperature to be dynamically adjusted based on changes in the number of people in the room, which is expected to optimize energy consumption. In addition, integration with Blynk allows real-time monitoring and control of the system through a smartphone app, providing users with greater flexibility and control. The trial results show that the system is able to respond to changes in the number of people and maintain the room temperature within comfortable limits (setpoint). As such, it offers an effective solution for smarter room temperature management.
