Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menghasilkan produk multimedia interaktif pada Kompetensi Dasar Mengoperasikan Software Basis Data, (2) mengetahui kelayakan produk multimedia interaktif tersebut, (3) mengetahui keefektifan pembelajaran dengan multimedia interaktif yang dikembangkan dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran tanpa multimedia interaktif tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan berdasarkan model Alessi Trollip yang pelaksanaan uji coba keefektifannya menggunakan quasi eksperimen. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi kualitas produk pengembangan dan hasil belajar. Analisis data dilakukan dengan statistik deskriptif, inferensial menggunakan uji t, serta ukuran pengaruh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) produk yang dihasilkan adalah multimedia interaktif berupa simulasi software basis data, (2) hasil tes alfa dan tes beta menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan mempunyai kualitas baik sehingga layak untuk uji coba, (3) pembelajaran dengan multimedia interaktif yang dikembangkan lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran tanpa multimedia interaktif tersebut. DEVELOPING OPERATING DATABASE SOFTWARE BASIC COMPETENCY INTERACTIVE MULTIMEDIA FOR SMK NEGERI 1 SEYEGANAbstractThis study aims to (1) produce an interactive multimedia on Operating Database Software Basic Competency, (2) find out the quality of the product, (3) find out the effectiveness of learning using the developed product compared to learning without using it. This study was a research and development study based on Alessi Trollip model in which the effectiveness tryout employed a quasi-experiment. The collected data consisted of those on the quality of the developed product and students' learning outcome. The data were analyzed by means of the descriptive statistics, inferential statistics using t-test, and effect size. The results of the study shows that: (1) the developed product is an interactive multimedia which is a database software simulation, (2) the results of alpha and beta tests show that the developed product has a good quality so that it is appropriate for the tryout, (3) learning using the developed product is more effective than that without using it.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to find the determinants of e-learning implementation by teachers of vocational school in the Yogyakarta Special Region. The research objective was achieved by describing the essential influence of social environment and facilitating conditions toward the technology acceptance model of e-learning. The study was a correlational research one with an ex-post facto approach. The number of research sample was 132 teachers and the research sample was determined by the Krejcie Morgan formula. The research sample was distributed by means of proportional random sampling technique. The primary data source was the teachers’ self report which had been collected by using a questionnaire. The observation and the open-ended interviews were conducted in order to support the primary data. The content validity was assessed by means of expert judgment and the construct validity was calculated by means of Pearson correlation. The reliability was determined by means  of Cronbach's Alpha minimum value namely 0.70. The data analysis was performed by  using path analysis at a significance level of 0.05. The study concluded that the effect of social environment and facilitating conditions to the e-learning usage had been mediated by three main variables of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), namely perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and intention to use.Keywords: E-learning, technology acceptance model, social environment, facilitating conditions. DETERMINAN PENGGUNAAN E-LEARNING OLEH GURU SMK DI DAERAH ISTIMEWA YOGYAKARTAAbstrakStudi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor determinan penggunaan e-learning oleh guru SMK di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Tujuan ini dicapai dengan cara menjelaskan hakikat pengaruh lingkungan sosial sekolah dan kondisi fasilitas teknologi terhadap model penerimaan teknologi e-learning. Studi ini merupakan penelitian korelasional bersifat ex-post facto. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 132 guru ditentukan menggunakan formula Krejcie Morgan didistribusikan dengan teknik proportional random sampling. Sumber data primer adalah laporan diri guru, dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner. Observasi dan wawancara terbuka dilakukan sebagai pendukung data primer. Validasi isi dilakukan dengan expert judgment  dan validasi konstruk dilakukan dengan korelasi Pearson. Reliabilitas ditentukan dengan dengan nilai Cronbach’s Alpha minimal 0,70. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis jalur pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil studi menunjukkan pengaruh lingkungan sosial dan kondisi yang memfasilitasi terhadap penggunaan e-learning dimediasi oleh tiga variabel utama model penerimaan teknologi, yaitu kegunaan, kemudahan penggunaan, dan intensi.Kata kunci: e-learning, model penerimaan teknologi, lingkungan sosial, kondisi yang memfasilitas

Abstract

The purpose of research is to produce a tiered teacher qualification standards of competence and qualification assessment levels rise as a guide ongoing professional development of teachers of VHS.Type mix of research methods, approaches Research and Development of Richey and Klein (2009, p.8) are limited to 2 stages of development and product validation. Internal validation by expert judgment Delphi Technique 2 rounds and FGD. External validation of the test product on teachers vocational competency skills Techniques Audio Video in Yogyakarta. Retrieving data using questionnaires. Test the validity of the instrument using factor analysis with SPSS version 20, the validity of 77.781% in the high category. Cronbach alpha reliability coefficient of 0.896 in the category of very reliable. Data were analyzed using the Rank-Order of Difference Scores.Stakeholders assess differences in the demands of professional competence and work area clear hierarchy between the teacher. Standard assessment level rise is able to describe the complexity of teaching. Effectiveness qualification standards can be improved mainly through the standard explanation tiered competence and qualifications, assessment of real professional attributes inherent in the everyday lives of teachers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan pembelajaran dan hasil belajar siswa pada kompetensi dasar sistem pengapian konvensional dalam mengimplementasikan metode problembased learning. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Data dianalisa secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagai berikut: (1) keaktifan siswa meningkat sebesar 11,20%; (2) keaktifan siswa kategori sangat tinggi sebanyak 36 siswa dan kategori tinggi sebanyak 3 siswa; (3) hasil belajar siswa aspek kognitif, psikomotor, dan afektif mengalami peningkatan masing-masing sebesar 5,32%, 5,03%, dan 2,05%; dan (4) hasil belajar siswa aspek kognitif, psikomotor dan afektif yang mencapai kompetensi minimal masingmasing sebanyak 36 siswa (92,31%), 36 siswa (92,31%), dan 38 siswa (97,40%) dari 39 jumlah siswa melalui penerapan problem-based learning. Kata kunci: problem-based learning, aspek kognitif, aspek psikomotor, aspek afektif, hasil belajar THE IMPLEMENTATION OF PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING TO IMPROVE LEARNING OUTCOMES OF COGNITIVE, PSYCHOMOTOR, AND AFFECTIVE OF STUDENTS IN VOCATIONAL SCHOOLAbstractThis study aims to improve the learning activities and learning outcomes in learning conventional ignition system by implementing problem-based learning method. This study used a classroom action research which was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisted of four phases: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data were analyzed descriptively. The study results show that: (1) the learning activities increase as much as 11,20%, (2) the category of learning activities is very high for 36 students and high for 3 students, (3) the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective aspects in learning outcomes of students increasing which each part is 5,32%, 5,03%, and 2,05%, (4) the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective aspects in the learning outcomes reach minimum value criteria which each part is 36 students (92,31%), 36 students (92,31%), and 38 students (97,40%) from 39 students with the implementation of problem-based learning

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) perbedaan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada matakuliah Logika Komputer antara kelas yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran quiz team dengan kelas yang menggunakan metode konvensional, (2) perbedaan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada matakuliah Logika Komputer antara kelas yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran quiz team dengan kelas yang menggunakan metode konvensional ditinjau dari motivasi belajar, (3) interaksi antara metode pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar dalam pengaruhnya terhadap hasil belajar. Jenis penelitian adalah eksperimen semu (quasi-experimental research). Desain penelitian yang digunakan Nonequivalent Comparison-group Desig. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 2 kelas yang dipilih dari 6 kelas secara acak untuk dijadikan kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket motivasi dan tes hasil belajar. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis Anava Dua Jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada matakuliah Logika Komputer dengan kelas yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran quiz team antara kelas yang menggunakan metode konvensional (F ratio (14,788) F tabel (3,99)), (2) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar mahasiswa terhadap matakuliah Logika Komputer antara kelas yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran quiz team dengan kelas yang menggunakan metode konvensional ditinjau dari motivasi belajar (kelompok motivasi tinggi harga p value = (0,042 0,05) kelompok motivasi rendah harga p value = 0,032 0,05)) , dan (3) tidak terdapat interaksi antara metode pembelajaran dan motivasi belajar dalam pengaruhnya terhadap hasil belajar (F ratio (0,450) F tabel (3,99)).  EFFECTIVENESS QUIZ TEAM LEARNING METHODE AGAINTS COMPUTER LOGIC COURSE JUDGING FROM THE STUDENT LEARNING MOTIVATIONAbstractThe study aimed to find out: (1) differences in student learning outcomes at the course Logic Computer between the classroom teaching methods and classroom quiz team using conventional methods, (2) differences in student learning outcomes at the course between the Computer Logic class that uses learning methods quiz team as well as the class that uses the conventional method in terms of motivation to learn, (3) the interaction between learning method and motivation in their influence on learning outcomes. This study was a quasi-experimental study (quasi-experimental research). Experimental design used in this study using Nonequivalent Comparison-group Design. The sample in this study amounted to 2 randomly selected classes from 6 classes to serve as the control and the experimental class. Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk: (1) mendapatkan informasi pengelolaan Program Studi (Prodi) Desain dan Teknologi Sepatu (DTS) di Akademi Teknologi Kulit (ATK) Yogyakarta,(2) mengetahui kesesuaian kurikulum Prodi DTS dengan dunia usaha atau industri (DUDI), dan (3) mengetahui kepuasan lulusan atas pengetahuan dan ketrampilan yang diperolehnya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) Kedudukan Prodi DTS berada dibawah direktur ATK, akan tetapi tanggung jawab, tugas dan wewenang secara langsung berada dibawah PD (Pembantu Direktur) 1 yang membidangi akademik atau pendidikan. Pengelola Prodi DTS meliputi: Ketua Prodi, Sekretaris Prodi, dan Kepala workshop. Ketua Prodi membawahi dosen, teknisi dan laboran. Tanggung jawab, tugas, dan wewenang Prodi hanya meliputi hal-hal yang terkait proses KBM teori maupun praktik;(2) Kurikulum Prodi DTS berbasis kompetensi yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan DUDI. Peninjauan kurikulum dilaksanakan dalam jangka waktu 4 tahunan. Hasil penelitian yang diambil dari pernyataan responden, yakni para mahasiswa tingkat akhir, dan alumni menyatakan bahwa kurikulum Prodi DTS sudah sesuai dengan DUDI. (3) Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan responden menyatakan puas akan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan dari Prodi DTS ATK Yogyakarta. MANAGEMENT OF SHOES DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY STUDY PROGRAMS IN LEATHER TECHNOLOGY ACADEMY YOGYAKARTAAbstractThis study aims to: (1) obtain information about the management of the Study Program of Shoe Design and Technology (SDT) in the Leather Technology Academy (LTA) of Yogyakarta, (2)`find out the relevance of the curriculum to the industrial or business sector, and (3) investigate the graduates’ satisfaction of knowledge and skills that they obtain from the institution. It was an evaluation study employing the qualitative approach. It was not intended to test whether a hypothesis was accepted or rejected but it was focused on the data collection to describe the actual conditions in the field. The results of the study show that: (1) The position of the study program in the organizational structure is under the Director of LTA. However, the coordination of responsibility, duty, and authority is directly under the Vice Dean (VD) I in charge of academic or educational affairs. The managerial board of the study program consists of the Head of the Study Program, the Secretary, and the Coordinator of the Workshop. In the job specification, the Head of the Study Program also supervises the lecturers, technicians, and laboratory personnel. (2) The curriculum implemented in the study program is competency-based with an objective of producing graduates with competencies demanded by the industry; the curriculum is periodically reviewed in four years. The results of the study based on the statements from the respondents, show that the curriculum in the study program is already relevant to the needs. (3) The results of the study based on the statements from the respondents, show that they are satisfied with the skills/competencies acquired or learned in the Study Program of SDT in LTA.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan kondisi awal pembelajaran dalam penerapan Kurikulum 2013 SMK dan kondisi pembelajaran setelah diterapkan Problem Based Learning (PBL). Penelitian ini merupakan bagian dari pengembangan model pembelajaran PBL dalam Penerapan Kurikulum 2013. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah guru-guru yang mencoba menerapakan PBL dalam penerapan Kurikulum 2013. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik angket dan wawancara melalui Focused Group Discussion (FGD). Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian tahun pertama menunjukkkan bahwa: (a) PBL sangat potensial diterapkan dalam penerapan Kurikulum 2013 di SMK. Kesiapan guru dalam implementasi Kurikulum 2013 termasuk dalam kategori tinggi dengan harga rerata sebesar 96,73 dan pencapaian skor 71,9%. Kesesuaian implementasi pembelajaran dalam penerapan Kurikulum 2013 termasuk kategori tinggi dengan rerata 152,26 dan pencapaian skor 78,40%. Sebagian besar guru menyatakan bahwa PBL layak diterapkan di setiap mata pelajaran dalam implementasi Kurikulum 2013; (b) PBL terbukti mampu meningkatkan kompetensi siswa dalam aspek kemampuan (hard skills) maupun sikap (soft skills).Kata kunci: kurikulum 2013, SMK, Probem Based Learning PROBLEM BASED LEARNING IN THE 2013 CURICULLUM IMPLEMENTATION OF VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOLAbstractThis study aims to describe the pre-learning condition in 2013 curriculum implementation of vocational high school (VHS) and the post-learning condition that Problem Based Learning (PBL) has been implemented. The research is a part of PBL learning model development in 2013 curriculum implementation. The population of this study is the teachers who try to apply PBL in 2013 curriculum implementation. Data collection was done by questionnaire and interview through the Focused Group Discussion (FGD). Data analysis was conducted descriptively. The first year research finding shows: (a) PBL is very potential to be implemented in 2013 curriculum implementation of vocational high school. Teachers’ readiness in 2013 curriculum implementation came into the high category with average score 97.63% and the attainment score 71.9%. The compatibility of learning implementation in 2013 curriculum came into the high category with average score 152.26 and the attainment score 78.40%. The majority of teachers explained that PBL is valid to be implemented in every subject matter in the 2013 curriculum implementation; (b) PBL is evident can increase the students competence in the hard skills and soft skills aspect.Keywords: 2013 Curriculum, VHS, Problem Based Learning

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) mengungkapkan pengembangan profesionalitas pendidik yang selama ini diterapkan; (2) menemukan model pengembangan teacherpreneur; dan (3) menentukan keefektifan internal model teacherpreneur di SMK Bidang Keahlian Teknologi dan Rekayasa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development yang terdiri dari tiga langkah: studi pendahuluan, pengembangan model, dan uji coba internal. Penelitian dilakukan di SMK negeri dan swasta di kota Yogyakarta. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan wawancara mendalam dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) pengembangan profesionalitas pendidik pada guru SMK yang diteliti sebagian besar berasal dari pemerintah, dan dari sekolah. Program pemerintah terdiri dari MGMP, OJT, sosialisasi kurikulum, ujian kompetensi, dan diklat assessor, sedangkan program pengembangan pendidik di sekolah bergantung pada kebijakan dan strategi dari masing-masing kepala sekolah; (2) Model teacherpreneur yang dikembangkan tersusun atas komponen kompetensi, kreatifitas, dan efektivitas; (3) Keefektifan model hasil uji internal yang dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa ahli setuju dengan kategori: (a) komponen model telah lengkap (92,83%); (b) struktur komponen model telah jelas (91,65%); (c) hubungan antar komponen model telah jelas (95,83%); (d) keterbacaan model telah baik (95,83%); (e) model telah layak (95,83%); dan (f) model efektif jika diimplementasikan (87,5%). Kata kunci: pengembangan, profesionalitas, pendidik, teacherpreneur DEVELOPING A MODEL OF TEACHERPRENEUR IN VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOLS Abstract This research aimed to: (1) reveal the teacher’s professional development model currently applied; (2) generate a teacherpreneur development model; and (3) determine the internal effectiveness of teacherpreneur development model in the vocational high schools (SMK) having the study program of technology and engineering expertise. This research employed the research and development method which consisted of three steps: preliminary study, model development, and internal try-out of the model. It was conducted at SMK Negeri 2 Yogyakarta, SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Yogyakarta, SMK Negeri 3 Yogyakarta, SMK Perindustrian, SMK PIRI 1 Yogyakarta, and SMK Taman Siswa Jetis Yogyakarta. The research data were collected through in-depth interviews and observation. The results are as follows: (1) the professional development of the teachers were mostly programmed by the government and school. The government program consisted of the association of the subject teachers (MGMP), OJT, curriculum socialization, competence examination, and assessor training, while the school program depended on the policy and strategies of each principal; (2) the teacherpreneur developed consisted of the componenets of competency, creativity, and effectiveness; (3) the result of the internal try-out involving the authority in the City Education Office, the experts of vocational education, and the SMK administrators concluded that: (a) 92.83% of experts agreed that the components of the model were sufficient, (b) 91.65% of experts agreed that the structure of the components of the model was understood, (c) 95.83% of the experts agreed that the relationship between the components was clear, (d) 95.83% of the experts agreed that the model had good readability, (e) 95.83% of the experts agreed that the model was appropriate, and (f) 87.5% agreed that the model would be effective for implementation. Abstract

Vocational education is oriented to the formation ofprofessional competency. Such competency has to be supported bynn1~':l't1"0 abilities, the acquisitionthese abilitiesne'ed comprehensive learning experiences. Project-a making learning experiencesmore interesting and meaningful to university students,or, thoseundergoing transitional training when entering a fieldofwork~The project-based learning model helps learners (1) to learnhefty and meaningful useof knowledge and skill built throughassignments and works, (2) to increase knowledge through curricularactivities and the executionofopen-ended planning or investigation,and (3) to build knowledge through real-world experiences andinter-personal cognitive negotiations conducted in an atmosphereofcollaborative work.Project-based learning enables learners to learn moreactively. The instructor, or, anyone in chargeof the instructionalprocess, stands encouragingly behind learners, who makes theinitiatives. The instructor facilitates learners' projects and evaluateseach project in termsof its meaningfulness in and application ontheir daily life. Outcomes during the project represent results thatcan be measured authentically by the instructor in the learningprocess.
