Abstract

Dewa Masraman is a tradition of the people of Banjar Timbrah, Pasekbali Village, Klungkung Regency which is held every six months, as a form of game and a symbol of the gods having fun. Many refer to the ceremony as the Dewa Mepalu ceremony, the god's battle ceremony. The real clash was Ida Bhatara's sulking (gathering) action because they had not seen each other for a long time. In the Masraman procession, there are 7 jolly gods who participate. The Dewa Mesraman tradition is still well guarded by the entire community of Paksebali Village as a form of internalizing local wisdom about the meaning of the tradition. In addition, the Dewa Mesraman Tradition is also full of meaning, even if examined contains various studies on Hindu Religious Education which are in line with the basic tri-framework of Hinduism as well as educational values ​​that are able to form a stable personality for all Paksebali Village people in simultaneously implementing the Dewa Masraman Tradition as a form of religious activity. which is highly respected by the people in Paksebali Village.

Abstract

Early childhood is a sensitive period or golden age, where there is rapid development so that teachers must be smart in choosing a learning approach so that learning objectives can be achieved properly, one of which is a scientific approach. The implementation of the scientific approach is intended to provide understanding to students in recognizing, understanding various materials using a scientific approach, that information can come from anywhere, not depending on unidirectional information from the teacher. Scientific learning teaches children to find new knowledge, solve problems, think critically and create creativity so that it helps them understand the environment, especially plants, collect and process information as the basic keys for children to think broadly. Therefore the expected learning conditions are directed to encourage students to find out from various sources through observation, and not just being told. The theory used to analyze the problem is Piaget's theory of cognitivism. This research is a classroom action research with the method of documentation, observation and interviews from the implementation of the cycle, the observation method is carried out using an observation format which includes three indicators including, indicator I: mentioning the kinds of plants, indicator II: counting and classifying the kinds of plants according to type III indicator: distinguishing parts, types and forms of plants and mentioning the color of the plant. The results of the observations obtained from the learning outcomes in each cycle were analyzed quantitatively with descriptive statistics using the percentage technique. The subjects of this research were the children of group A TK Yudistira Kumara II Sembung. The results showed that with a scientific approach it could improve the ability to recognize plants in group A in TK Yudistira Kumara II Sembung. The percentage of the initial state, cycle I and cycle II shows an increase. The results of research on the implementation of the scientific approach in improving plant recognition were resolved in Cycle II and the research was successful

Abstract

Learning Hinduism at SMK Negeri 2 Sukawati in fact still tends to be teacher-centered, resulting in passive learners in the learning process. In addition, the cultivation of noble values ​​in accordance with the objectives of national education and Hindu religious education has not been 100% achieved. Based on this, there is a gap from the main learning objectives of Hindu religious education in shaping the character of students who have noble character and good ethical values ​​that have not been reflected in some students as expected by the community and their school environment. Therefore, choosing the right learning model is necessary so that the objectives of learning can be achieved. The theories used in analyzing the above problems are: Behavioristic learning theory and communication theory. This type of research is qualitative research. This research is located at SMK Negeri 2 Sukawati. The technique of determining informants in this study was using purposive technique. whereas in data collection using the method of observation, interviews, documentation, literature study systematically using data analysis techniques and presented with the technique of presenting the results of data analysis. The results showed the Hindu religious learning model at SMK Negeri 2 Sukawati used a contextual learning model, a problem-based learning model, and a direct learning model.

Abstract

The education or teaching and learning process must still be carried out during a pandemic; this condition requires a strategy and the media platform's role to support the teaching and learning process, especially at Harapan Nusantara High School Denpasar. This study aims to reveal the part of the media platform during a pandemic to support the teaching and learning process at Harapan Nusantara High School Denpasar. This type of research is qualitative research. Data collection methods include literature studies, direct observation, and interviews. The collected data were then analyzed using data triangulation techniques: data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. Based on the findings in the study, it can be concluded: 1). The media platform's role during the pandemic was constructive and facilitated the process of teaching and learning activities both from the side of educators and students. 2) The advantage of the media platform is that it provides access to teaching and learning processes even during a pandemic; a pandemic is not an excuse not to study or not go to school. 3) The weakness of the media platform is monitoring the honesty of students in doing evaluations, following the process of teaching and learning activities cannot be controlled, and another weakness is the network which could be more stable.

Abstract

Development carried out in Bali, where people's livelihoods depend on agriculture, plantations, and tourism, must prioritize the Balinese cultural side, which is based on Hindu spiritual teachings. It is essential to pay attention to the teachings in Bali, as they are the basis for Bali's sustainable development. One of these teachings is the Tri Hita Karana teaching, especially in the weakening section. This weakening concept teaches humans to maintain a harmonious relationship between humans and the nature around them, which is related to human survival. The aim of the research is to describe the use of plants in the spiritual life of Hindus in Bali. The method used is qualitative research with library data collection techniques. The research results show that Balinese people are very close to the environment, especially plants that complement ceremonies or rituals. These plants are an inseparable part of the spiritual life of the Balinese people, considering that these plants act as materials for religious services and healing and provide educational teachings related to environmental conservation.

Abstract

Character is the result of education and learning from physical and spiritual knowledge obtained from school and family. The education provided by teachers at school will have an influence on students, therefore the role of teachers, parents and the environment plays a very important role in character formation. The educational process in schools based on spiritual culture will determine a lot of a child's progress in learning for the rest of his life and understanding the meaning of life for life. The aim of this research is to find out more about the spiritual culture implemented at Sathya Sai Elementary School in instilling character education values at school. This type of research is qualitative. The data collection methods used in this research are interviews, observation, literature study by analyzing data descriptively qualitatively. The location chosen in this research was Sathya Sai Elementary School. Primary data sources were obtained through interviews with several informants and secondary data were obtained through documentation and literature study. Determining informants using purposive sampling. The research results show, first: the application of spiritual culture is used and implemented because it aims to instill religious teachings as a basic concept of education which is carried out by starting from example, habituation and strengthening to students. Second, a form of education based on spiritual culture in the form of sitting in silence, satya, dharma, ahimsa, prema and santi. Third, the impact of education based on spiritual culture in the form of discipline, honesty and religion on students at school and at home.

Abstract

The writing of this research aims to provide analysis in the form of descriptive analysis of the use of information technology to increase awareness of pancasila. The purpose of this study is to rebuild the nation's identity through moral education and pancasila education at a young age, especially in the technology and information sector. This research uses qualitative descriptive research methodology, which requires collecting factual and comprehensive data and identifying a problem through the collection of sources from previous research, including journals, books and from other references in the form of websites related to the following research. The results and conclusions of this study highlight the importance of pancasila in promoting optimism in society and preserving the identity of the archipelago in the face of advances in information technology. So that the government can prepare the golden generation while maintaining the national identity of the Indonesian nation.

Abstract

Struktur beton bertulang menggunakan kolom dengan penampang pipih (rasio sisi panjang dengan sisi pendek lebih dari 2) umum digunakan di Bali untuk villa bertingkat rendah. Penggunaan ini didasarkan pada pertimbangan arsitektur agar kolom rata dengan tembok (tebal sekitar 150 mm). Kondisi ini menjadi kompleks pada pertemuan balok-kolom tepi dimana eksentrisitas balok terhadap kolom mempengaruhi respon sambungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan program elemen hingga (ABAQUS) untuk meneliti respon pertemuan balok-kolom penampang pipih eksentris akibat beban gempa. Tiga model pertemuan balok kolom tepi beton bertulang dengan eksentrisitas 0, 25, dan 50 mm dibebani beban lateral paralel dengan balok tepi. Model dirancang memenuhi SNI 2847:2013 untuk Sistem Rangka Pemikul Momen Khusus, kecuali lebar kolom yang lebih kecil dari persyaratan. Kemampuan program divalidasi menggunakan hasil eksperimen dari literatur. Sambungan yang ditinjau memiliki panjang balok dan kolom setengah bentangan. Hasil menunjukkan eksentrisitas balok terhadap kolom signifikan mempengaruhi kekuatan geser sambungan. Defleksi besar terjadi pada kolom ke arah samping akibat kekakuan rendah dan eksentrisitas, menghambat pembentukan sendi plastis pada ujung balok. Leleh tulangan dan kerusakan beton pada sambungan cenderung terjadi lebih awal pada sisi sambungan searah pergeseran titik berat balok. Temuan ini mengindikasikan penggunaan kolom penampang pipih dengan eksentrisitas dapat mengurangi kinerja seismik struktur.

Abstract

Pendidikan Agama Hindu memiliki peranan vital dan krusial dalam perkembangan moral, spiritual dan intelektualitas siswa ditengah gempuran dampak negatif dari era globalisasi. Pendidikan Agama Hindu bertujuan untuk mengembangkan potensi peserta didik agar memiliki pengetahuan tentang teknologi, kebudayaan, pengendalian diri, kecerdasan mental, akhlak mulia dan peningkatan spiritual keagamaan. Pendidikan Agama Hindu tidak hanya terbatas dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas atau lembaga pendidikan formal lainnya, tetapi dapat dipelajari dengan membaca dan memahami karya sastra Hindu yang kental akan nilai moral dan tattwa. Karya sastra Hindu tersebut sangat dihormati dan dijunjung tinggi keberadaannya khususnya bagi masyarakat Bali. Bali menyimpan ribuan karya sastra Hindu yang terekam dan diawetkan pada daun lontar. Sehingga lontar dapat difungsikan sebagai perekam pengetahuan. Salah satu bentuk karya sastra Bali purwa yang mengandung banyak ajaran Pendidikan Agama Hindu adalah Lontar Cempaka Wilis. Lontar ini banyak membahas mengenai kepercayaan terhadap Tuhan, kekuatan magis dan konsep Rwa Bhineda. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan mempergunakan metode pengumpulan data dokumentasi, wawancara dan studi kepustakaan, kemudian data dianalisis dengan metode analisis data hermeneutika, diakhiri dengan penyajian hasil analisis data dengan teknik penyajian hasil analisis data deduktif induktif. Penelitian ini memperoleh hasil berupa struktur ajaran Pendidikan Agama Hindu dalam Lontar Cempaka Wilis (ajaran Panca Sradha, Rwa Bhineda, Panca Maha Bhuta dan Tri Hita Karana) dan fungsi Pendidikan Agama Hindu dalam Lontar Cempaka Wilis (fungsi nyomya unsur bhuta kala). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk membedah secara mendalam struktur ajaran dan fungsi Pendidikan Agama Hindu dalam Lontar Cempaka Wilis sebagai refleksi diri dalam mengarahkan pikiran dan tindakan. Abstract

Kelancaran aktivitas operasional Fame Hotel Sunset Road Bali merupakan hal penting yang dapat mempengaruhi peningkatan kepuasan tamu, oleh karena itu hotel harus memiliki kesanggupan untuk menyediakan segala kebutuhan tamu. Pengadaan bahan makanan memegang peran penting dalam menyediakan bahan dan kebutuhan operasional hotel. Manajemen harus mampu memilih supplier yang dapat bekerjasama dalam memenuhi kebutuhan operasional hotel sesuai dengan standar yang telah ditetapkan oleh hotel. Rumusan masalah dari penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah penerapan good corporate governance pada pengadaan bahan makanan di Fame Hotel Sunset Road Bali dan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan good corporate governance pada pengadaan bahan makanan di Fame Hotel Sunset Road Bali. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif yang diperoleh dari wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini ditunjang dengan lima prinsip dari praktik Good Corporate Governance yang diatur dengan Keputusan Menteri BUMN Kep-117/M-MBU/2002 bab II pasal 3 yakni transparansi, akuntabilitas, pertanggungjawaban, kemandirian, dan kewajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan good corporate governance pada pengadaan bahan makanan di Fame Hotel Sunset Road Bali belum berjalan dengan baik. Pembelian bahan makanan belum berdasarkan standard purchase specification. Bagian penerimaan dalam menerima bahan makanan hanya melihat kualitas bahan makanan dari tampilan luar saja. Penataan dan penempatan bahan makanan digudang belum sesuai dengan tata kelola penyimpanan dan metode first in first out saat pengeluaran tidak diterapkan.
