Abstract

Peneliti melakukan wawancara kepada guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Jawa di salah satu sekolah. Dari hasil wawancara tersebut diketahui bahwa pada kegiatan pembelajaran crita cekak guru hanya menggunakan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) dan buku teks. Berkaitan dengan hal itu, maka diperlukan materi ajar yang berasal dari majalah, seperti kumpulan crita cekak karya Mbah Met pada majalah Djaka Lodang yang berpotensi untuk dijadikan sebagai materi ajar Bahasa Jawa. Sehubungan dengan itu, peneliti mengkajinya dengan menggunakan pendekatan stilistika. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan gaya bahasa, citraan, dan nilai pendidikan karakter, serta relevansinya sebagai materi ajar Bahasa Jawa di SMA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa persentase tertinggi penggunaan gaya bahasa kumpulan crita cekak karya Mbah Met yaitu gaya bahasa antitesis sebesar 22.92% dan persentase terendahnya yaitu gaya bahasa asindenton dan polisindenton sebesar 1.04%. Persentase tertinggi penggunaan citraan kumpulan crita cekak karya Mbah Met yaitu citraan gerak (kinestetik) sebesar 34.23% dan persentase terendahnya yaitu citraan penciuman sebesar 1.34%. Persentase tertinggi nilai pendidikan karakter dalam kumpulan crita cekak karya Mbah Met yaitu nilai kejujuran sebesar 26% dan persentase terendahnya yaitu nilai menghargai prestasi dan gemar membaca sebesar 1%. Terkait dengan relevansinya, kumpulan crita cekak karya Mbah Met pada majalah Djaka Lodang dapat dijadikan sebagai materi ajar Bahasa Jawa di SMA pada tingkat X semester gasal.

Abstract

One of the important components in the human communication process is language. When communicating, references are often found. The reference to speech certainly contains a context. The reference is defined as deixis. Deixis is the use of words or other forms of language that have a function as a pointer to a certain function or thing. This article aims to analyze the form of deixis in the news in Panjebar Semangat magazine. Qualitative descriptive is the method used in this research. The approach used is a pragmatic approach in the field of deixis studies. The data in this study were sourced from documents in the form of deixis contained in a newsletter in the Panjebar Semangat magazine. Data was collected by document analysis through a collection of Javanese news in Panjebar Semangat magazine July-September 2021 edition. Interactive data analysis technique is a technique in data analysis. The steps of interactive analysis are collecting data, reducing data, displaying data, and drawing conclusions. In this study, the forms of deixis found included 27 data of persona deixis, 11 data of place deixis, 27 of time deixis, 23 data of discourse deixis, and 28 social deixis. The functions of deixis in the pawarta in Panjebar Semangat magazine are adjusted based on the context in the discourse.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and explain: (1) the form of politeness in speech act within Andhe-Andhe Lumut Folklore by Sunjaya: and (2) relevance of Andhe-Andhe Lumut Folklore by Sunjaya as a teaching material for 7th Grade Junior High Student s in order to understand a folklore itself. The writer uses documents and some informants as the research’s data sources. Purposive sampling is usedto determine the sample used in this research, while data collection is done by using interview and documents analysis techniques. In this research, the writer uses data source triangulation and politeness theory to test the validity of collected data. In analysis part, the writer uses interactive data analysis which consists of data collection, data reduction, data presenting and concluding remark stages. As for the results of this study, the writer find that: (1) In the folklore story book of ‘Andhe-Andhe Lumut written by Sunjaya, it is found that politeness takes form in both assertive, directive and expressive speech acts, with directive speech acts being the most common one. The directive speech act is regularly used in the folklore, because most of the utterances (statements) found in the story are asking for a response. (2) It can be concluded that Andhe-Andhe Lumut Folklore by Sunjaya is a relevant teaching material to understand a folklore story for 7th grade Junior High School students based on the folklore’s curriculum, languages, psychological and cultural aspect. First, according to the Junior High School Curriculums of 2013, it is stated that understanding folklore is one of the basic competences that should have been mastered in the first semester of 7th grade students. Secondly, Andhe-Andhe Lumut by Sunjaya uses a polite language that can be a good example for the students to learn to use a polite and proper Javanese Language in their daily lives. Thirdly, in terms of psychological aspects, the story is suitable with the mental development of 7th grader students. And finally, the story shared a similar cultural background with its readers who areJavanese, so it is highly relevant and related with the readers’ values.

Abstract

This research aims to describe: (1) expediency of Teams Game Tournament method blended with media Game Powerquiz to optimize piwulang text learning; and (2) response assessment from specialist of materials lecturer, specialist of media lecturer and teacher, and reaction from students of class 8th Junior High School about Teams Game Tournament method blended with media Game Powerquiz. The method used is R&D (Research and Development). The datas were collected ares informant and document and then to be analyzed with description qualitative and quantitative for describing expediency of Teams Game Tournament method blended with media Game Powerquiz to optimize piwulang text learning for students of class 8th Junior High School. Result of this research to show that: (1) development process was conducted in some phases covering analysis phase, developer observed the curriculum; design phase, developer designed material and game; development phase, developer made storyboard or draft for development learning media; validate phase, for evaluated material and media; and final phase, to corrected last evaluate; also result of assessment from specialist of materials lecturer 89,7 is very good assessment, result of assessment from specialist of media lecturer 89,5 is very good assessment, result of assessment from teacher 96,6 is very good assessment. Also positive responses from students to proving about Teams Game Tournament method blended with media Game Powerquiz able to be optimize for piwulang text learning.

Abstract

Pembelajaran bahasa Jawa diperoleh pada tiap satuan pendidikan di SMA. Materi dalam pembelajaran tersebut beraneka ragam, misalnya pembelajaran pariwara di SMA. Materi pariwara di SMA biasanya hanya berasal dari buku teks. Guru sulit mencari materi yang berkaitan dengan pariwara. Iklan radio berbahasa Jawa sesungguhnya dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber baru dalam materi ajar untuk mengatasi kesulitan tersebut. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk dan makna kohesi leksikal pada iklan radio berbahasa Jawa serta relevansinya sebagai materi pembelajaran pariwara di SMA. Lokasi penelitian yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data relevansi materi ajar pariwara bertempat di SMA Negeri 1 Gemolong. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis isi pada iklan radio berbahasa Jawa. Iklan radio berbahasa Jawa yang digunakan yaitu periode Maret-April 2019 dengan lingkup area Jawa Tengah, Jawa Timur, dan Yogyakarta. Adapun nama radio yang digunakan yaitu CJDW 107 FM, MDS 14,47 FM, Argososro 93,2 FM,  Persatuan Bantul 94,2 FM, Fortuna 101,9 FM, H 89,6 FM, Citra 98,8 FM, Gema Soedirman 96,3 FM, dan Handayani Adhiloka 99,9 FM.  Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu dalam wacana iklan radio berbahasa Jawa mengandung semua bentuk kohesi leksikal yang terdiri atas repetisi, sinonimi, antonimi, kolokasi, ekuivalensi, dan hiponimi. Wacana iklan radio berbahasa Jawa relevan dan sesuai dengan pembelajaran bahasa Jawa kelas XI semester genap pada kompetensi dasar menelaah teks iklan berbahasa Jawa dan menulis teks iklan berbahasa Jawa.

Abstract

This research aimed to study structural element and social conflicts existing in Wayang Orang Balai Sigala-gala video and to find out whether or not it was relevance to be used as the teaching materials of Javanese language learning in the Senior High School. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with content analysis type of research by exploring structural elements and social conflicts in Wayang Orang Balai Sigala-gala and its relevance to be learning media. The information source used included reference book, video, informant as informant of interview. Techniques of collecting data used were Library Research as well as in-depth interview with data validation test using data source triangulation in which the author incorporated data obtained from interview of informant and the data obtained from reference study ad content analysis on the research object. The result of the research showed that Wayang Orang Balai Sigala-gala had complete structural elements, just like the constructive element existing in prose genre generally. The social conflict study conducted indicated that Wayang Orang Balai Sigala-gala had social conflict constituting the reflection in current social condition on society to be analyzed easily by the studied in the Senior High Schools. The consistency of conflict existing in Wayang Orang Balai Sigala-gala with the social condition made this video relevant to be a teaching materials into Javanese Language learning. Considering the result of research, it could be concluded that Wayang Orang Balai Sigala-gala was relevant to be teaching materials to Javanese Language Learning in the Senior High Schools.

Abstract

Cerkak merupakan salah satu materi ajar di SMA, namun dalam pemilihan cerkak tidak bisa sembarangan. Cerkak yang digunakan harus mengandung nilai-nilai pendidikan di dalamnya. Guna mengentahui apakah suatu cerkak mengandung nilai-nilai pendidikan maka perlu adanya penelitian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam crita cekak Wacan Bocah dalam rubrik Gelanggang Remaja majalah Panjebar Semangat terbitan tahun 2019. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa analisis dokumen. Objek yang dikaji berupa crita cekak Wacan Bocah dalam rubrik Gelanggang Remaja majalah Panjebar Semangat yang terbit selama tahun 2019 dan telah dipilih sesuai dengan tema kehidupan sehari-hari. Berdasarkan analisis data ditemukan nilai-nilai yang terdapat pada crita cekak Wacan Bocah antara lain Bersahabat/Komunikasi, rasa ingin tahu , peduli sosial, menghargai prestasi, jujur, tanggung jawab, semangat kebangsaan, cinta damai, religious dan kreatif. Nilai-nilai tersebut tergolong pada nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam kurikulum 2013 sehingga cerkak tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai bahan ajar di sekolah.

Abstract

Psikologi sastra merupakan sebuah pendekatan yang mengamati kejiwaan serta perilaku manusia. Dengan memusatkan pada kejiwaan serta perilaku manusia, maka akan diperoleh konflik batin yang sesuai dengan teori psikologi sastra. Dalam sebuah naskah sandiwara Jawa tentunya terdapat konflik batin antar tokoh yang dapat membangun jalan cerita dalam nakah. Naskah sandiwara Kidung Pinggir Lurung menceritakan permasalahan dalam keluarga yang menimbulkan sebuah konflik batin antar tokoh. Naskah sandiwara Kidung Pinggir Lurung merupakan naskah yang belum dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan psikologi sastra. Naskah sandiwara tersebebut mengandung aspek psikologi sastra teori psikologi Sigman Freud yaitu id, ego, dan superego. Selain itu, naskah sandiwara Kidung Pinggir Lurung juga mengandung nilai moral yang dapat diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan dapat dijadikan bahan ajar di Sekolah Menengah Pertama kelas IX. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan psikologi sastra. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu analisis dokumen dan wawancara mendalam. Data dalam penelitian ini yaitu berupa kata-kata dan kalimat yang berkaitan dengan teori psikologi sastra seperti id, ego, dan superego.

Abstract

The research aimed to describe and explain the forms of speech acts expressive novel Prasetyane Wanita by Tulus Setiyadi, and the relevance of the novel Prasetyane Wanita by Tulus Setiyadi with javanese language teaching materials in senior high school. The method in this research  is a qualitative  with a content analysis approach using pragmatic theory to determine the form of expressive speech acts contained in  novel Prasetyane Wanita by Tulus Setiyadi. The data source in this research is a novel entitled Prasetyane Wanita by Tulus Setiyadi which was published by Pustaka Ilalang in August 2020. The data collection techniques used were documentation or document analysis techniques, and interviewing informants. The validity of data using theoretical triangulation and source triangulation. The data analysis technique used is interactive analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that the forms of expressive speech acts found in novel Prasetyane Wanita by Tulus Setiyadi include expressive speech acts of include 4 expressive speech acts of thanking, 5 expressive speech acts of praising,3 expressive speech acts of pardoning,4 expressive speech acts condoling, 1 expressive speech acts of congratulating, and 5 expressive speech acts of blaming. In addition, novel Prasetyane Wanita by Tulus Setiyadi is relevant if it is used as teaching material for Javanese language in high school, precisely at KD 3.2, namely "Understanding the contents of Javanese novel texts".

Abstract

This research aims to analyze structural and moral value in the manuscript of The Semboja Kapugeran ketoprak by Bondan Nusantara. Using qualitative, this research uses descriptive methods of analysis in order to obtain the results of the analysis as expected. The elements analyzed in this study are plot, characterization, settings, theme and message. The results showed there were eleven symbolic figures and their respective characters, the script has an advanced plot consisting of exposition, complications, climax and falling action. It's about a romance that's motivated by a family grudge. The message that can be taken is that revenge will only bring havoc in life.
