Abstract

The objectives of this study were to analyze the potential of incorporating bali cattle hide gelatin and gaharu leaf extract encapsulated as an edible film with antioxidant potential. The research method was using Completely Randomized Design, ie concentration of gaharu leaf extract encapsulated (G0 = 0%, G1 = 5%, G2 = 10%, G3 = 15% and G4 = 20%). The results showed that the characteristics of edible films were significantly different (P <0.05), such as moisture content (7.37%) in G4; protein (86.25%) in G0, phenol (10.84 mg / 100 g GAE) in G4 and antioxidant (150.36 mg / L. GAEAC) in G4, and the effect was not significant on ash content of the film. It film thickness, tensile strength, elongation, and water vapor transmission rate of edible film were significant (P <0.05) influence with results for 0.04 mm (G0); 1.64 Mpa (G0); 54.86% (G1) and 11.20 g.mm/m2.day in G4, respectively. The conclusion of the research is edible film of incorporation of balicattle skin bali gelatin and gaharu leaf extract encapsulated with 20% concentration yielding functional characteristics (potency antioxidant) with the highest value. Indicators of chemical characteristics include moisture content (7.37%); ash content (0.49%); protein content (71,98%); phenol (10.84 mg / 100 g GAE) and antioxidant (150.36 mg / L GAEAC). While physical indicators include film thickness (0.02 mm); tensile strength (1.54 MPa); elongation (71.48%) and water vapor transmission rate (11.20 g.mm/m2.day).

Abstract

Biaung Village has some potential to develop into a cultural tourism attraction. This article aims to examine the existence of cultural heritage in this village to be developed into educational tourism. The data was collected by observation, literature study, and in-depth interviews with local community leaders and then analyzed by descriptive qualitatively. The results showed that the cultural heritage of Biaung Village is feasible to be developed into educational tourism for tourists, especially the younger generation. Hence, the younger generation has a strong understanding of cultural preservation in the future. It can be seen in the offer of educational tour packages (relics of ancient cultural sites, Batur Sari Murti Temple, tradition of making "kise", painting activities, and traditional culinary). Tourists who visit this tourist village are not just to learn about the local culture's uniqueness but also to be directly involved in tourism activities. It is recommended that the local community be more serious about developing the cultural heritage so that future generations can enjoy it. The government is expected to be more intense in fostering this cultural tourism attraction to be sustainable

Abstract

Kelurahan Sayang-sayang Kecamatan Cakranegara merupakan salah satu Kelurahan penghasil Limbah pemotongan Ayam berupa ceker ayam. Salah satu startegi untuk meningkatkan nilai jual ceker ayam yaitu diolah menjadi kerupuk ceker ayam. Tujuan dari program ini adalah meningkatkan nilai jual ceker ayam yang selama ini hanya dimanfaatkan dalam pembuatan soup dan bahan untuk menambah cita rasa bakso. Metode yang digunakan dalam melaksanakan program adalah metode Participatory Research Appraisal (PRA) yaitu bentuk metode yang melibatkan semua anggota mitra sasaran dalam melakukan melakukan program kerja. Dari program yang telah dilaksanakan, diperoleh hasil bahwa sekitar 21-28% anggota kelompok ibu-ibu PKK Kelurahan Sayang-sayang siap untuk mengolah ceker ayam menjadi kerupuk ceker bernilai ekonomis. Hasil monitoring dan evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa inovasi pembuatan kerupuk ceker ayam menjadi barang yang bernilai ekonomis secara tidak langsung dapat meningkatkan pendapatan ibu-ibu PKK.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the increase in reproductive performance of Landrace and Duroc cross sows given additional premix feed. This research was carried out in Br. Belong, Taro Kaja Village, Tegalalang District, Gianyar Regency, Bali Province. The crossbreed pigs used are Landrace and Duroc, 2-3 years old, or sows who have given birth 2-3 times. The experimental design used in this research was a completely Randomized Design (CRD) which consisted of 3 treatments, namely T0 feed without premix, T1 feed with premix and given to sows starting at 2 month of gestation, and T2 feed with premix and given to sows starting at 3 months of gestation. The average gestation period for the sow is 114 days and the premix dose is 1 kg/ 200 kg of feed. The results showed that the lit- ter size, birth weight, weaning weight, number of piglets weaned, and age at weaning showed significantly different results (P<0.05) in each treatment. Meanwhile, after weaning the sows re-mated, the results were not significantly different (P>0.05). The sow’s ability to maintain the litter size until weaning is very dependent on the quality of the feed given to the gestation of sow, especially feed that supports the sow’s milk production. From the results of this research, it can be concluded that giving premix to sows at 2-3 months of gestation (T2 and T3) can improve the reproduction performance of sows.

Abstract

RINGKASAN Penelitian untuk mempelajari lama latihan yang berbeda terhadap konsumsi pakan, kecernaan pakan, serta neraca nitrogen pada kerbau atlet (makepung) yang diberi rumput raja (King grass) telah dilaksanakan di Desa Candikusuma, Kecamatan Melaya, Kabupaten Jembrana (Bali). Pada penelitian ini, digunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) pola Split plot (petak terbagi) 3 x 4. Tiga tingkat berat badan sebagai petak utama (B1 = 309,44 ? 4,29 kg; B2 = 350,94 ? 6,21 kg; dan B3 = 393,94 ? 8,07 kg) dan empat tingkat lama waktu latihan sebagai anak petak (L0 : tidak dilatih; L1 : dilatih selama 5 menit/hari; L2 : dilatih selama 10 menit/hari; dan L3 : dilatih selama 15 menit/hari) selama dua minggu. Setiap perlakuan terdiri atas empat ulangan dan peubah yang diamati adalah konsumsi pakan, kecernaan bahan kering pakan, perubahan berat badan, kecernaan protein, dan neraca nitrogen (N). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsumsi pakan, kecernaan bahan kering pakan, perubahan berat badan, dan neraca N secara nyata (P<0,05) dipengaruhi oleh lama latihan, sedangkan kecernaan protein tidak dipengaruhi oleh berat badan dan lama latihan (P>0,05). Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa peningkatan lama latihan tidak berpengaruh terhadap kecernaan protein, tetapi terjadi peningkatan konsumsi pakan, kecernaan bahan kering pakan, konsumsi N, dan perubahan berat badan. Peningkatan berat badan dan retensi N semakin rendah dengan meningkatnya lama latihan; bahkan terjadi penurunan berat badan pada kerbau yang dilatih selama 15 menit /hari.

Abstract

Tumpeng Hill Selfie Tour is one of the alternative tourist attractions in the tourist village of Lalanglinggah Banjar, Bukit Tumpeng Service, West Selemadeg District, Tabanan Regency. Seeing the potential that Selfi Bukit Tumpeng Tourism has, namely the good natural potential, as one of the alternative tourism options in Lalanglinggah village, the main driver emerged, namely the local community in collaboration with the Village Government. This needs to receive more attention so that the Selfi Bukit Tumpeng tourist attraction can develop optimally and sustainably as an asset in the future. This research is research using qualitative methods, using three theories, namely tourism management theory by Salah Wahab, participation theory by Cohen and Uphoff, and sustainable tourism theory by Sugiama. The aim of this research is to determine the management and development of the Selfi Bukit Tumpeng Tourist Attraction, so that when it is managed well and appropriately it will develop even better, so that it can be introduced more widely to tourists, as well as encouraging active participation of local communities in Lalanglinggah Village for the purpose of building the economic welfare of the local community in Lalanglinggah Village. Local communities certainly have an important role in developing Tumpeng Hill Selfie Tourism which uses Participation Theory through three stages, namely decision making, implementation and evaluation stages. These three components have produced solutions to overcome the problem of "Developing management of Tumpeng Hill Selfie Tourism after the Covid-19 pandemic" in order to create sustainable tourism.

Abstract

Revolusi Industri ditandai dengan penerapan teknologi digitalseperti Internet of Things (IoT), kecerdasan buatan (AI), dan komunikasi digital. Teknologi ini memberikan peluang besar bagi masyarakat dalam mengembangkan sistem yang lebih efisien dan terhubung. Namun, pemanfaatan teknologi yang cepat juga dapat memunculkan tantangan, terutama dalam menjaga harmoni antara manusia, lingkungan, dan spiritualitas. Dalam hal ini pada penerapan IoT dan Komunikasi Digital, dengan tetap berlandaskan pada kearifan lokal yang tercermin dalam konsep Tri Hita Karana, khususnya pada aspek palemahan (harmonis dengan lingkungan). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode literatur review dan kualitatif serta pengumpulan data melalui observasi dalam mendapatkan solusi dalam monitoring kondisi lingkungan LPK. Sistem monitoring suhu dan kelembaban tanah menggunakan sensor DHT22 dan soil moisture telah berhasil diimplementasikan. Rata-rata nilai error sensor DHT22 dalam membaca suhu adalah 0,8%. Rata-rata nilai error sensor soil moisture dalam membaca kelembaban tanah adalah 0,3%. Sistem monitoring dan kontrol ini memungkinkan pemantauan real-time dan pengaturan otomatis yang efektif, mengurangi pemborosan air dan energi serta meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan aspek palemahan. Penggunaan IoT dan komunikasi digital di LPK Ganesha Indonesia Tanah Ampo dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pelatihan kerja sambil tetap melestarikan nilai-nilai Tri Hita Karana. Teknologi digital digunakan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan produktivitas, penerapan IoT dan komunikasi digital di LPK juga dapat membantu peserta memahami dan menerapkan nilai-nilai Tri Hita Karana.

Abstract

The increase in electricity consumption in Bali, which is still dependent on fossil energy, presents environmental sustainability challenges. This study examines the implementation of the Tri Hita Karana concept in the management of the Suana Solar Power Plant (PLTS) in Nusa Penida as an environmentally friendly energy solution based on local wisdom. With a descriptive qualitative research method through literature study and field observation, this study explores how Tri Hita Karana. which includes Parahyangan (spiritual harmony), Pawongan (social relations), and Palemahan (harmony with nature) can be integrated in energy management. The results of the study show that Suana Solar Power Plant not only contributes to reducing carbon emissions, but also strengthens the involvement of local communities through cultural preservation programs, economic empowerment, and clean energy education. This cultural values-based approach increases public acceptance of the green energy transition and creates a more sustainable resource management model. This study emphasizes that the integration of renewable energy technology with local wisdom can be an effective strategy in sustainable development, while maintaining harmony between humans, nature, and spirituality.

Abstract

This study uses digital communication to evaluate service quality and its impact on tourist satisfaction at Villa Uluwatu. Combining qualitative and quantitative methods, data were gathered through interviews and observations, then analyzed using data adequacy, validity, and reliability tests, Service Quality analysis, and the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). Results show an 80% satisfaction rate, with weaknesses found in tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. No attribute emerged as a strength. Key areas for improvement include parking facilities, employee appearance, service speed, housekeeping responsiveness, and administrative ease. The study recommends enhancing these aspects to boost tourist satisfaction and maintain market competitiveness.
