Abstract

Bima Credit and Savings Cooperative Credit Union is a financial institution that provides transaction services to store and borrow money to its members. Bima Savings and Loan Cooperative needs to have an information system to facilitate data processing, carry out tasks appropriately, and minimize errors in recording transactions and financial calculations. To meet the above needs, it is necessary to design a savings and loan information system. The system development method used is SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) which stands for several stages, namely the planning stage, the analysis phase, the design stage, the implementation stage and the maintenance phase, but the maintenance stage is not included in the development of this system. This design uses a programming language that is C # in its creation and mysql as its database. The results of this study are to provide convenience for officers in managing savings and loan data. Desktop-based Savings and Loan Information System, can help to manage, search, make savings and loan reports quickly and easily, and can make savings and loan arrangements and calculate interest directly through the application without being done manually.

Abstract

Pandai Sikek Songket is a cultural heritage of the Minangkabau people, rich in aesthetic and philosophical values. Its decorative motifs were initially influenced by natural elements and local customs that developed since the pre-Islamic era. However, with the arrival of Islam in Minangkabau, these motifs underwent a transformation toward alignment with Islamic values. The influence of Islam is reflected in geometric patterns, the reduction of figurative motifs, and philosophies that embody Islamic ethics and teachings. The purpose of this study is to explain the transformation of Pandai Sikek Songket motifs within the context of the encounter between Minangkabau customs and Islamic values, and to explore how this process of cultural adaptation occurs harmoniously without diminishing the essence of local identity. This study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach. Data were collected through literature review, interviews, and observational documentation, followed by an analysis of Pandai Sikek Songket motifs that have undergone stylization. To examine the influence of Islam, the research applies the theories of acculturation and Islamic aesthetics to understand how Islam shaped the motifs of Pandai Sikek Songket as a traditional textile. The findings conclude that the influence of Islam on Pandai Sikek Songket motifs occurred through a process of harmonious cultural adaptation. Elements of custom and nature were preserved but reinterpreted in accordance with Islamic values, such as the use of symmetrical patterns, stylized forms, and symbolic meanings that reflect Islamic principles. The harmonization of tradition, nature, and Islam in Pandai Sikek Songket illustrates the cultural flexibility of the Minangkabau people in embracing change without losing their identity. The contribution of this study lies in strengthening the understanding of how traditional cultural heritage can transform through the dialogue between custom, nature, and religion, thereby enriching the discourse on Islamic aesthetics and Nusantara culture. The findings also reveal that the harmony between tradition, nature, and Islam in Pandai Sikek Songket reflects the cultural flexibility of the Minangkabau community in adapting to change while preserving its authentic identity.

Abstract

The rapid growth of Internet of Things (IoT) and edge computing technologies has introduced new security challenges due to the distributed, heterogeneous, and dynamic nature of these environments. Conventional static security mechanisms, such as rulebased authentication and fixed trust models, are often inadequate for addressing evolving threats and abnormal behaviors in largescale IoT systems. To overcome these limitations, this study proposes a machine learningbased trust evaluation framework for enhancing security in distributed IoT environments. The proposed approach dynamically assesses the trustworthiness of IoT nodes by analyzing behavioral and interactionbased features collected at the edge layer. Machine learning models are trained to classify nodes into trusted and malicious categories and continuously update trust values in response to changing network conditions. Based on the predicted trust levels, adaptive security decisions are enforced to allow or restrict node participation in data sharing and computation processes. A quantitative experimental evaluation is conducted using simulated distributed IoT scenarios that include both normal and malicious behaviors. The performance of the proposed framework is evaluated using standard metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, F1score, and detection effectiveness, and is compared against conventional static trust and rulebased security mechanisms. The results demonstrate that the proposed machine learningbased trust evaluation approach achieves significantly higher detection accuracy and robustness while maintaining low computational overhead. Overall, the findings confirm that integrating machine learning into trust management provides an effective and scalable solution for securing distributed IoT systems under dynamic and adversarial conditions.

Abstract

Padang Ampera restaurants, as diaspora manifestations of Minangkabau culture in urban Java, do not merely display decorative visual elements for commercial attraction. Their logos, colors, spatial markers, ornaments, halal labels, and typographic choices function as a system of signs through which identity is communicated, negotiated, and legitimized This study integrates Islamic aesthetics to explain the ethical and formal boundaries of visual expression with cultural semiotics to interpret branding as a cultural text. To achieve this objective, a qualitative descriptive-analytical approach was implemented, involving field observations at 45 Padang Ampera restaurants across Bandung, Yogyakarta, and Malang, alongside in-depth interviews with 15 informants, including 5 owners and 10 patrons. These methods allow for a systematic decoding of how Minangkabau memory, Islamic values, and the social meaning of hospitality are materialized in contemporary commercial spaces. Through this combined framework, the branding of Padang Ampera restaurants can be understood not only as a marketing strategy but also as a signifying practice that transforms everyday commercial space into a visible expression of Muslim cultural identity. This article contributes to Islamic anthropology in at least three ways. First, it extends the discussion of Islam beyond ritual and doctrinal domains into the sphere of everyday material culture by showing how Islamic values are embodied in visual branding practices. Second, it demonstrates that restaurants can function as vernacular sites of religious-cultural expression, where design choices become a medium for articulating piety, propriety, and communal identity. Third, it highlights how Minangkabau migrants in Java negotiate continuity and adaptation through visual symbols that are both commercially effective and culturally meaningful. In this sense, the study offers a practical contribution by showing that branding in Muslim cultural enterprises may operate not only as an economic instrument but also as a medium of cultural transmission, identity preservation, and ethical representation in diaspora settings.
