Abstract

Purpose – This study examines the effects of perceived uniqueness and perceived credibility of geographical indication label on tourists’ willingness to pay for tenun ikat NTT, with perceived authenticity as a mediating variable. The study grounded in Signaling Theory to explain the mechanism of consumer behavior in the purcahase decision-making process for cultural product. Design/methodology/approach – A quantitative explanatory design was employed using a cross-sectional survey of 235 tourists’ seleceted through purposive sampling. Data were analyze using Partial Least Square-Structural Equatoin Modeling (PLS-SEM) using SmartPLS 4.0 software to test both direct and indirect relationships among the construcs. Finding/Results – The results indicates that perceived credibility of GI label has a direct significant positive effect on willingness to pay and perceived authenticity. Perceived uniqueness and perceived credibility of GI label has a direct significant positive effect on perceived authenticity. Perceived uniqueness and perceived authenticity does not directly affect willingness to pay, and mediation analysis shows that perceived authenticity does not mediate the relationships between perceived uniqueness, perceived credibility of GI label, and willingness to pay. The findings indicate that GI label credibility is the only significant direct predictor of willingness to pay, suggesting that institutional trust signals may be more influential than symbolic cultural attributes in shaping tourists' valuation of cultural heritage products. Originality/Value – This study is also conducted to fill the research gap, where studies examining the role of geographical indication labels are still very limited, especially in the cultural craft industry in Indonesia. This study contributes to signaling theory by demonstrating that consumer perceived authenticity as consumers' perception of purchasing behaviour is developed through trust in the GI label's credibility.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of transformational, transactional, and paternalistic leadership styles and to examine which leadership style has the greatest influence on the performance of MSMEs in Pangkalpinang City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive design. Data were collected through questionnaires to 100 respondents from MSMEs in Pangkalpinang City. The data were analyzed and tested using multiple linear regression. All questions/statements in the questionnaire were declared valid because the calculated r value was > r table (calculated r value = above 0.1966) while the Cronbach's Alpha value was 0.883 above 0.60, so the instrument in this study was declared reliable. The results of the study indicate a positive and significant influence between transformational leadership style (β = 0.533; t = 2.618; p = 0.010) and transactional leadership style (β = 0.394; t = 2.308; p = 0.038) on MSME performance. However, paternalistic leadership style (β = 0.192; t = 1.701; p = 0.069) has a positive but insignificant influence on MSME performance. This research is expected to benefit MSME actors so they can demonstrate behaviors that reflect transformational and transactional leadership styles and minimize authoritarian behaviors in paternalistic leadership styles.

Abstract

Gastronomic tourism has grown rapidly over the past decade and has become a strategic element in the development of tourism destinations in various countries, including Indonesia. This study aims to map scientific developments, conceptual patterns, and research gaps related to gastronomic tourism through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach combined with bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer. A total of 327 Scopus-indexed articles from 2019–2025 were evaluated, and 71 articles met the inclusion criteria for in-depth analysis. The bibliometric visualization results identified five main research clusters: culinary authenticity and quality; tourist experience–satisfaction–loyalty; cultural heritage and local cuisine; supply chain sustainability; and destination marketing, including digital and social media influence. The thematic synthesis reinforces the dominant model of tourist behavior in the literature, namely that authenticity is a key determinant in shaping gastronomic experiences, which then influences satisfaction, and ultimately determines tourist loyalty to the destination, with strong support from heritage, sustainability, and digital branding variables. In addition to offering a conceptual map of global and Indonesian gastronomy research, this study identifies 15 research gaps covering issues such as multidimensional authenticity, sensory experiences, circular gastronomy, and digital influences on tourist behavior. This SLR provides theoretical contributions through the development of an integrative theoretical model, as well as practical contributions for tourism stakeholders in designing culinary-based destination strategies that are authentic, sustainable, and globally competitive.

Abstract

This study was conducted to examine the relationship of organizational justice to turnover intention and the relationship of workload to turnover intention using 221 employees of PT. Telkom Access Indonesia, Tbk Malang City as the subject of research. Researchers examined the direct effect of organizational justice and workload on turnover intention. Researchers use job stress as a mediator of organizational justice and workload relationships to turnover intention. This study used the Warp PLS 8.0 application to test the relationship between variables. The results of this study found that organizational justice had a significant effect on turnover intention, while workload in the study did not have a significant effect on turnover intention. Furthermore, job stress mediates the relationship of organizational justice to partial turnover intention and mediates the relationship of workload to full turnover intention.

Abstract

The transformation of the modern workplace has created increasing challenges for Generation Z workers, including digital disruption, career uncertainty, work-related pressure, and evolving organizational expectations. This study aims to systematically examine the development of research on Generation Z resilience in the workplace, identify dominant thematic clusters, explore the factors influencing resilience, analyze its impacts on psychological and workplace outcomes, and determine future research directions. This study employed a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach guided by the PRISMA framework. Relevant articles were collected from academic databases and analyzed using thematic synthesis and VOSviewer visualization to identify keyword networks, research clusters, and emerging trends. The findings reveal that resilience is a central concept strongly associated with stress, burnout, mental health, employee well-being, work engagement, mindfulness, emotional intelligence, and occupational health. The literature indicates that Generation Z workplace resilience is influenced by three major factors: individual resources (mindfulness, self-compassion, emotional intelligence, and grit), organizational support (respectful communication, leadership, and psychological safety climate), and workplace challenges (stress, insecurity, and workload intensity). Resilience contributes to reducing burnout and psychological distress while enhancing well-being, work engagement, and career adaptability. This study concludes that Generation Z workplace resilience is a multidimensional construct shaped by the interaction between personal capabilities and organizational environments. Future research should develop integrative theoretical models and apply longitudinal, qualitative, and mixed-method approaches to gain a deeper understanding of resilience development among Generation Z workers.
