Abstract

Interactive Learning Multimedia is a technological tool that can be effectively utilized as a learning resource. This type of media not only supports the instructional process but also contributes positively to students' learning outcomes. The use of digital platforms enables teachers to express their creativity and tailor their teaching approaches to align with students' learning styles and interests. Implementing Google Sites as a platform for delivering interactive multimedia facilitates more effective learning and enhances students’ understanding of the material. This study aims to describe students’ perceptions of learning procedural texts through Interactive Learning Multimedia based on Google Sites. A qualitative approach with a phenomenological design was employed. Data were gathered through observations of students’ active participation and motivation, along with reflection sheets covering their perceptions, understanding, and evaluations of the media. Data analysis was conducted from the outset of data collection, involving reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that students held highly positive perceptions toward the use of interactive media. They reported feeling happy, interested, and motivated while learning procedural texts through this medium.

Abstract

Asphyxia is one of the life-threatening emergency conditions for newborns (neonates). Neonates with asphyxia undergo treatment in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to improve their condition. One of the therapeutic nursing interventions that can be given to neonates is Comfort care. Comfort care can be used as a specific and comprehensive (Holistic) intervention that includes neonates' physical and psychological aspects. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of holistic comfort care (nesting position, light reduction, white noise, and bounding attachment) on improving physiological parameters and comfort of neonates with asphyxia in the NICU. The method in this study is a case report involving neonatal patients with asphyxia in the NICU. Monitoring was carried out before and after the intervention with instruments consisting of vital signs (heart rate, respiratory rate, SPO2) and the Comfort Neo Scale. The results of the study showed that the implementation of comfort care intervention for 5 days improves physiological parameters in particular pulse rate, breathing rate, oxygen saturation, and comfort in neonates with asphyxia. Based on these results, comfort care can be an alternative to nursing interventions that can improve the outcomes of babies with asphyxia who are treated in the NICU room.

Abstract

Anemia pada kehamilan dapat meningkatkan risiko morbiditas dan mortalitas ibu serta janin. Daun ubi jalar ungu mengandung zat besi, vitamin C, dan folat yang berperan dalam pembentukan hemoglobin. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh konsumsi air rebusan daun ubi jalar ungu terhadap kadar hemoglobin ibu hamil trimester II. Desain penelitian menggunakan pre-eksperimental one group pretest-posttest dengan 22 responden ibu hamil anemia ringan yang dipilih secara consecutive sampling. Intervensi berupa konsumsi 1 gelas (250 ml) air rebusan daun ubi jalar ungu per hari selama 7 hari. Kadar hemoglobin diukur dengan Hb test Easy Touch dan dianalisis menggunakan Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. Hasil menunjukkan kadar hemoglobin meningkat dari 10–10,7 g/dl menjadi 10–12,8 g/dl dengan nilai p = 0,003 (p < 0,05). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa konsumsi air rebusan daun ubi jalar ungu berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan kadar hemoglobin ibu hamil trimester II.

Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is a complaint of pain during menstruation that is commonly experienced by adolescent girls and can interfere with daily activities. One alternative nonpharmacological treatment to reduce dysmenorrhea is to consume green coconut water which is rich in electrolytes, magnesium, calcium, and folic acid. This study aims to determine the effect of green coconut water on the reduction of dysmenorrhea in SMPN 1 Kendal Ngawi students. The method used is pre-experimental with a one-group pretest-posttest design. A sample of 24 respondents was selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) instrument and analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed that before the intervention most of the respondents experienced dysmenorrhea on a scale of 5 (29.2%), while after the intervention most of the respondents were on a scale of 0 or no pain (37.5%). The Wilcoxon test showed a value of p = 0.000 (<0.05) which means that there is a significant influence between the administration of green coconut water on the reduction of dysmenorrhea. The conclusion of this study is that green coconut water is effective as an alternative therapy to reduce the intensity of dysmenorrhea in adolescent girls.

Abstract

Anxiety can be reduced using relaxation and ditraction therapy, one of the efforts to reduce anxiety in mothers giving birth is using Murottal therapy, namely a recording of the sound of the Al-Quran sung by a qori' or Al-Quran reader. The sound of chanting verses from the Al-quran activates endorphin hormones and can stimulate delta waves, making the listener calm, peaceful and comfortable. This research is to determine the effect of murottal before and after administration on reducing anxiety levels in mothers giving birth. This research uses Pre Experimental with a One Group Pretest Posttest Design research design. The sample in this study was 27 respondents with Purposive Sampling. Bases on analysis showed that before murottal therapy was carried out, the majority were at a moderate level of anxiety, 16 people (59.3%). After murottal therapy, the majority of respondents were at a mild level of anxiety, 18 people (66.7%). Statistical analysis used the Wilcoxon test with a p-value of 0.000 (<0.005). There is an effect on reducing maternal anxiety in the first stage of labor after being given murottal therapy.

Abstract

The groundwater in Kota Bambu Selatan, West Jakarta, has high levels of turbidity and TDS. Therefore, it is necessary to be treated in order to comply with the regulations outlined in the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 2 of 2023 concerning Environmental Health standards. This study aims to investigate the effectiveness chicken eggshells as a biocoagulant for treating this groundwater. The techniques employed encompassed coagulation and flocculation, involving different coagulation G.td values (17,000, 34,000, 48,000, and 96,000) and a range of biocoagulant doses (100-500 mg/L). The outcomes of the treatment revealed that the utilization of chicken eggshells as a biocoagulant led to the removal of 47.14% of TDS and 97.17% of turbidity. The cost associated with implementing chicken eggshells as a biocoagulant amounted to IDR 230.70 per liter. In light of these findings, it can be deduced that chicken eggshells serve as an effective biocoagulant for reducing TDS and turbidity in the groundwater treatment.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Angka kejadian ibu hamil di Indonesia masih tergolong tinggi, yaitu sebanyak 48,9%. Kondisi ini menunjukkan bahwa anemia di Indonesia menandakan angka yang mendekati masalah kesehatan masyarakat berat (severe public health problem) dengan batas prevalensi anemia yang lebih dari 40%. Sedangkan angka kejadian anemia pada ibu hamil di Kabupaten Sukoharjo pada tahun 2022 ditemukan sebanyak 5,6%.  Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian ekstrak daun kelor terhadap peningkatan kadar hemoglobin pada ibu hamil di Puskesmas Grogol Sukoharjo. Metodelogi: Penelitian kuantitatif, desain quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan pre-post test control group design. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Juli 2023. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 20 orang ibu hamil dengan anemia. Kemudian dikelompokkan menjadi 2 kelompok, satu kelompok dengan 10 orang ibu hamil dengan anemia yang diberikan zat besi dan ekstrak daun kelor, satu kelompok lagi dengan 10 orang yang hanya diberikan zat besi saja. Analisa data menggunakan Paired Sampel t Test. Hasil: Hasil penelitian didapatkan terdapat perbedaan signifikan pemberian ekstrak daun kelor dengan hemoglobin (P value <0,001). Kesimpulan: pemberian ekstrak daun kelor berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kadar hemoglobin pada ibu hamil.

Abstract

Remaja adalah periode transisi antara masa kanak-kanak dan dewasa, ditandai dengan dimulainya kematangan seksual. Selama fase ini, remaja mengalami berbagai perubahan yang memerlukan adaptasi untuk menerima transformasi yang terjadi dalam diri mereka. Secara psikologis, remaja mengalami periode transisi yang memerlukan bimbingan, terutama terkait dengan kesehatan reproduksi mereka. Perubahan fisik, sosial, dan psikologis pada remaja membutuhkan pemahaman tentang pertumbuhan dan perkembangan mereka, memungkinkan mereka melewati masa remaja dengan sukses. Tujuan dari kegiatan pelayanan masyarakat ini adalah untuk secara langsung meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja perempuan, memungkinkan mereka mencapai kesehatan reproduksi dan mengatasi masalah kesehatan reproduksi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Pendopo Desa Joyosuran, Kecamatan Pasar Kliwon, Kota Surakarta. Layanan ini melibatkan penyampaian informasi tentang Kesehatan Reproduksi untuk Remaja Perempuan. Peserta menunjukkan antusiasme besar selama kegiatan dan menunjukkan pemahaman yang baik terhadap materi tersebut. Inisiatif ini diterima secara positif oleh masyarakat dan peserta.Abstract: Adolescence is a transitional period between childhood and adulthood, marked by the onset of sexual maturity. During this phase, adolescents undergo various changes that require adaptation to accept the transformations occurring within themselves. Psychologically, adolescents experience a transitional period that necessitates guidance, especially concerning their reproductive health. The physical, social, and psychological changes in adolescents demand an understanding of their growth and development, enabling them to navigate through adolescence successfully. The objective of this community service activity is to directly enhance the knowledge of adolescent girls, enabling them to achieve reproductive health and address reproductive health issues. This activity took place at the Pendopo Hall in the Joyosuran Village, Pasar Kliwon Subdistrict, Surakarta City. The service involved delivering information on Reproductive Health for Adolescent Girls. Participants showed great enthusiasm during the activity and demonstrated a good understanding of the material. The community and participants positively received this initiative.

WinarniABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi pembelajaran Matematika di Sekolah Dasar,pembelajaran yang menggunakan metode yang tepat dapat membangkitkanminat dan motivasi siswa untuk belajar, sehingga anggapan matematikaadalah pelajaran yang sulit dapat terhapuskan selanjutnya hasil belajarsiswa pun akan meningkat. Didasari pada latar belakang diatas, penulisberusaha menerapkan penggunaan metode dalam kegiatan belajar mengajaryaitu dengan menggunakan media kartu bilangan. Adapun tujuan daripenelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui bagaimana hasil belajar muatanterpadu matematika siswa tentang pengurangan bilangan bulat di kelas ISDN Popongan setelah mengikuti pembelajaran matematika denganpenggunaan media kartu bilangan dan meningkatkan kemampuan gurudalam mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran matematika denganpenggunaan media kartu bilangan yang berorientasi pada upayameningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitianini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam duasiklus, satu siklus terdiri atas perencanaan pembelajaran, prosespelaksanaan pembelajaran, kegiatan observasi dan refleksi. Penelitimengambil subjek penelitian siswa kelas I SDN Popongan KecamatanBanyuurip Kab. Purworejo dengan jumlah siswa 23 orang. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran matematikadengan menggunakan model pembelajaran matematika dengan penggunaanmedia kartu bilangan mengalami peningkatan tiap siklusnya. Rekapitulasihasil pembelajaran siklus I dengan nilai rata-rata 58,46 dan siklus II dengannilai rata-rata 66,92. Maka hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan penggunaanmodel pembelajaran matematika dengan penggunaan media kartu bilangandapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika.Untuk kedepannya diperlukan penelitian yang lebih dalam pada materipelajaran matematika yang lain.Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Bilangan Bulat, Kartu BilanganThis research is based on Mathematics learning at elementary school.Learning using appropriate method may stimulate students’ learninginterest and motivation; hence, opinion assuming that mathematics as adifficult subject can be eliminated, so learning achievement can improve.Based on the background, the writer attempts to apply the method inteaching learning activity, i.e. through the use of number card media. Thisresearch aims to identify how is students’ mathematics integrated learningachievement on integer subtraction at class I of SDN Popongan (PoponganState Elementary School) after mathematics learning using number cardmedia and to improve teacher’s competence in implementing mathematicslearning model using number card media, in order to increase students’learning achievement. Method adopted was Classroom Action Researchwith two cycles, i.e. each cycle consisting of learning plan, implementation,observation, and reflection. Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in the material on understanding vocabulary starting with me- for grade IV students of SD Negeri Paketiban 01. This was caused by the lack of interactive media that actively involved students and a learning model that was less contextual. Therefore, this study aims to examine the effectiveness of the application of interactive Crossword Labs media based on the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model in improving learning outcomes in the material of interpreting vocabulary starting with me- for fourth grade students of SD Negeri Paketiban 01. This study uses mixed methods, namely a research method that begins with the collection of quantitative data through learning outcome tests, then continues with the collection of qualitative data obtained through the results of observations of learning activities in the application of Crossword Labs media based on the CTL model for fourth grade students of SD Negeri Paketiban 01. The subjects of the study were 16 fourth grade students of SD Negeri Paketiban 01. The results of the quantitative data analysis showed that the application of Crossword Labs media based on the CTL model was effective in improving learning outcomes, with evidence of an increase in the average value of student learning outcomes by 20.5 points, from 61.25 (pretest) to 81.75 (posttest). This increase was also followed by an increase in classical completeness of 43.75%, from 43.75% to 87.50%. In addition, the N-gain analysis conducted strengthened the increase in student learning outcomes in the material of interpreting vocabulary beginning with me- by 0.54 which is included in the moderate criteria. Meanwhile, the results of qualitative data analysis showed that in general students strongly agreed that the Crossword Labs media based on the CTL model had a positive impact on motivation, understanding, and learning outcomes in the material of interpreting vocabulary beginning with me-. Thus, it can be concluded that the Crossword Labs media based on the CTL model is effective in improving the learning outcomes of the material of interpreting vocabulary beginning with me- of grade IV students of SD Negeri Paketiban 01.
