Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see the influence of interactive learning videos on learning outcomes at Makale Christian High School. Based on the initial observations made and the results of interviews with teachers of Informatics subjects, it was revealed that the learning outcomes of grade XI students still needed to be improved, because there were still some students who obtained scores below the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) of 70, according to the standards set by the school, in the mid-semester exam. This low learning outcome is often caused by the choice of inappropriate learning media by the teacher, so that students are less enthusiastic in participating in learning and do not give full attention to the teacher who is teaching. This study uses a quantitative method with an experimental approach. The population in the study is all students of Makale Christian High School in class XI which totals 205 students consisting of six classes, namely classes XI.A-F. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. Data collection techniques use observation, pretest and posttest. The data analysis technique uses validity and reliability tests, normality tests, homogeneity tests and hypothesis tests. The findings of the study showed that in the experimental class with an average pretest score of 51.83, there was an increase to 73.33 in the posttest, with a Sig.(2-tailed) value of 0.00 less than 0.05. Thus, it can be said that interactive learning videos have an influence on student learning outcomes in grade XI of Informatics at Makale Christian High School.

Abstract

In today's digital era, information and communication technology has become an integral part of the learning process. One promising innovation in education is Augmented Reality (AR), which can improve learners' interaction and understanding of the subject matter. Augmented Reality (AR) application training for Social Science (IPS) teachers in SMP Makassar City aims to improve teachers' knowledge and skills in utilizing AR technology to support digital learning. This activity was carried out for three days with the method of introducing theory, practicing the use of applications, and preparing AR-based learning materials. The training results show significant improvements in teachers' knowledge and skills, as well as motivation to use technology in learning. However, there are challenges related to infrastructure and resistance to change. Therefore, continuous support is needed for the implementation of AR in learning.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat wawasan kebhinekaan global mahasiswa Pendidikan Profesi Guru Prajabatan bidang studi Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial Universitas Negeri Makassar melalui pendekatan kualitatif berbasis partisipatif. Mahasiswa Pendidikan Profesi Guru sebagai calon guru memiliki peran penting dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai kebangsaan dan menghargai perbedaan di lingkungan pendidikan. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Learning dengan teknik observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, diskusi kelompok terfokus (FGD), dan refleksi nilai. Data dianalisis secara tematik untuk mengidentifikasi perubahan pola pikir, sikap, dan perilaku peserta terhadap nilai-nilai kebhinekaan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kesadaran reflektif mahasiswa terhadap pentingnya kebhinekaan sebagai fondasi harmoni sosial. Mahasiswa menunjukkan perubahan perilaku dalam menghargai perbedaan, memperkuat empati lintas budaya, serta mampu mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai kebangsaan dalam rancangan pembelajaran IPS.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning by using newspaper media. This study is a classroom action research that uses four steps, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were students of madrasah iftida'iyah. The data of this study were obtained by test and observation techniques. Tests are used to measure learning outcomes and observations are used to analyze teacher and student learning activities. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive statistics by comparing the results obtained with indicators of research success. The results of the study indicate that newspaper media can improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning. This can be seen from the increase in the percentage of student learning completion in each cycle with details of the pre-cycle 47.71%, the first cycle 69.39% and in the second cycle it increased to 90.66%. Thus, the use of newspaper media can be used as an alternative to improve student learning outcomes in Islamic religious education learning.

Abstract

Naiknya permukaan air merupakan gejala alam dari aliran dimana untuk memperoleh aliran air yang stabil atau tetap, maka air akan mengalir dengan kondisi aliran subkritis. Aliran subkritis tidak akan menimbulkan gerusan pada permukaan saluran. Tujuan percobaan ini untuk menganalisis karakteristik aliran sebelum dan sesudah melewati pintu segiempat dan segitiga, serta perbedaannya akibat bentuk pintu, untuk mengetahui pengaruh bentuk pintu terhadap energi spesifiknya, dan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara loncatan hidraulik dengan ruang olakan. Pengambilan data dilakukan di laboratorium hidraulika dengan 3 variasi debit yaitu 0,0003 m3/dtk, 0,0002 m3/dtk dan 0,0001 m3/dtk serta 2 variasi pintu yaitu segiempat dan segitiga. Percobaan ini dilakukan sebanyak 6 kali. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian Aliran, air yang terjadi dapat mengalami perubahan ketinggian karena adanya bangunan pintu, debit dan sekat. Dimana aliran sebelum melewati pintu adalah aliran subkritis dengan nilai Fr pada pintu segiempat pada debit 0,0003 m3/dtk yaitu 0,0361. Kemudian aliran setelah melalui pintu adalah superkritis dan kembali subkritis setelah loncatan hidraulik dengan nilai Fr yaitu 0,1964. Pada penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa semakin besar debitnya, maka semakin besar bilangan Froudenya. Hal ini dikarenakan debit berbanding lurus terhadap kecepatan sehingga semakin besar debit maka kecepatannya akan semakin besar.

Abstract

This community engagement program titled “Religious-Based Maritime Education for Introducing Bugis-Makassar Sea Traditions and Culture at SD 82 Pattene Maros” was conducted in response to the declining awareness of local maritime traditions among young students due to modernization and limited exposure to cultural and religious values in formal education. The community partners—teachers and students in a coastal primary school—faced challenges in integrating local maritime knowledge and spiritual values into daily learning. To address this, the team designed a participatory-educative approach by developing a thematic module combining Islamic moral teachings with Bugis-Makassar maritime traditions such as sailing, fishing, and coastal rituals. The implementation took place one week before the Haul Akbar of Tarekat Khalwatiyah Samman, a local religious event, to strengthen students’ understanding of spirituality, community solidarity, and cultural heritage. Activities included classroom learning, storytelling, field observation at coastal areas, and reflection sessions guided by teachers and community leaders. The results showed significant improvements in students’ enthusiasm, religious character, social cooperation, and ecological awareness. They demonstrated greater respect for local culture, care for the marine environment, and appreciation of their Bugis-Makassar identity. This program concludes that integrating religious and maritime education effectively preserves local wisdom while fostering moral and cultural character formation among coastal students in Indonesia.

Abstract

Generation Z has become an increasingly significant segment of the workforce, bringing unique characteristics and expectations that differ from previous generations. As a result, organizations must understand the motivational patterns that influence their retention. This study aims to map retention strategies for Generation Z employees through a literature-based approach using several motivation theories, including Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, Herzberg’s Two-Factor Theory, Self-Determination Theory, and Expectancy Theory. The findings indicate that Generation Z seeks not only financial compensation but also flexibility, continuous development opportunities, a supportive work environment, and fair and meaningful rewards. The integration of these theories demonstrates that Generation Z’s retention is shaped by the fulfillment of basic needs, intrinsic motivation, psychological needs, and perceptions of fairness and relevance of rewards. This study concludes that effective retention strategies for Generation Z must be holistic and designed to meet their comprehensive needs, enabling organizations to retain young talent more sustainably.

Abstract

Memasuki paruh pertama milenium kedua, tantangan yang dihadapi perusahaan atau organisasi semakin berat dan kompleks. Berbagai bentuk ketidakmampuan muncul seperti cepatnya globalisasi, percepatan inovasi, dan kompetisi yang terus tumbuh yang mengakibatkan mudah berubahnya situasi pasar (volatility), kompleksitas, danambiguitas. Era ini lebih dikenal dengan istilah era Industri 4.0 atau Revolusi Industri 4.0  yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya digitalisasi di segala bidang sehingga orang, objek, dan sistem dapat terhubung secara real time  Dalam konteks ini, sumber daya manusia (SDM) memegang peran strategis sebagai penggerak utama transformasi digital. SDM tidak hanya bertindak sebagai pelaksana teknis, tetapi juga harus memiliki kapabilitas analisis, literasi digital, dan kemampuan adaptasi terhadap perubahan yang cepat. Analisis pasar, evaluasi keuangan, hingga proyeksi kelayakan usaha kini banyak bergantung pada data real-time dan sistem digital yang hanya dapat berjalan efektif bila didukung oleh SDM yang kompeten.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran sumber daya manusia (SDM) dalam mendukung proses digitalisasi studi kelayakan bisnis di dua UMKM lokal: Toko Kopi Suju dan Es Teh Dua Daun, yang berlokasi di Desa Uloe, Kecamatan Dua Boccoe. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kopi Suju telah menerapkan teknologi digital secara aktif melalui aplikasi kasir, pembayaran QRIS, dan promosi media sosial. Sementara itu, Es Teh Dua Daun masih dalam tahap awal digitalisasi, dengan fokus pada penggunaan WhatsApp dan QRIS. Kedua usaha menunjukkan bahwa digitalisasi tidak harus kompleks untuk menghasilkan dampak positif terhadap efisiensi operasional dan pengalaman konsumen. Pengembangan kompetensi SDM menjadi kunci utama dalam proses transformasi digital ini.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of product quality and promotion on consumer purchase decisions at Malige Aquarium Store in Baubau City. The research uses a quantitative method with a survey approach involving 97 respondents selected from a population of 3,115 consumers. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation, and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that product quality has a significant effect on purchase decisions, indicating that the physical condition and appearance of ornamental fish play an important role in consumer preferences. Promotion also has a significant effect, which means that marketing communication and information delivery can increase consumer interest. The simultaneous test confirms that product quality and promotion together influence purchase decisions. The coefficient of determination shows that 25.3 percent of the variation in purchase decisions is explained by both variables, while the remaining 74.7 percent is influenced by other factors not included in this study. The findings highlight the need for improving fish quality and strengthening promotional strategies to support consumer buying behavior
