Abstract

This study aims to determine the Influence of Capital Structure and Financial Performance on Company Values in Go Public Manufacturing Companies (Case Study of Food and Beverage Sector Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2014-2017 Period). This research is quantitative research. The population in this study were 18 companies. While the sample in this study were 10 companies. Data collection techniques arecarried out by non-participant observation techniques. The variables in this study are capital structure and financial performance as independent variables, and firm value as the dependent variable. The data used in this study are secondary data, literature and web searching. The data analysis technique used is panel data analysis. Based on the results of this study, it was found that there was no significant effect between capital structure on firm value. The results of the analysis show a significance of 0.918 or greater than 0.05 (p = 0.918> 0.05), which means that H0 is accepted. The effect of the capital structure on the value of the company is because the capital structure is not an investor's focus in stock purchase decisions at the company. While financial performance has a significant influence on company value. The results of the analysis show a significant amount of 0.003 or smaller than 0.05 (p = 0.003> 0.05), which means H1 is accepted. High financial performance will provide an indication of good corporate prospects so that it can trigger investors to participate in increasing stock demand. Increasing demand for shares will cause increased company value.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the strategies and approaches used to create HOTS questions in reading comprehension texts to improve students' HOTS skills. This study used a qualitative approach, relying on questionnaire data that results from teachers who created HOTS questions to explain and describe data. The subjects of this study were English teachers as participants. Researchers discovered numerous things using questionnaire data obtained via Google Forms. The research design is a case study, which describes teachers' perspectives on HOTS questions and the obstacles faced by teachers in creating HOTS questions. The research instrument was a questionnaire that was sent by Google Forms. In collecting data, the researcher sent the Google form link to the teacher and the researcher reviewed the answers from the teacher, and the data in this study were the teacher's answers to the questions about HOTS, which were attached to the Google form. The study's findings include three significant points 1. Teacher's challenges with drafting HOTS questions. 2. Teacher's strategies for using HOTS questions in reading comprehension question final test. 3. Teachers' technique or process for creating HOTS questions to increase students' HOTS skills. 4. How students respond to the teacher's queries. 5. The outcomes obtained by students using the HOTS method.

Abstract

Semirejo Village, whose economy is mostly engaged in agriculture and trade, such as MSMEs, requires the protection of its intellectual property rights. Intellectual property rights (IPR) protection is defined as legal protection provided by the state to individuals, groups, or entities whose ideas and ideas are realized in the form of copyrighted works. Using the empirical juridical method, this study analyzes the challenges faced by MSMEs in registering trademarks and protecting trade secrets, as well as their impact on business sustainability. The results show that most MSMEs in Semirejo Village have limited awareness of IPR, especially regarding registration procedures and the long-term benefits of such legal protection. This study recommends increased education and support from the government to help MSMEs access IPR protection, which can improve business competitiveness and protection in the wider market.Desa Semirejo desa yang sebagian besar perekonomiannya bergerak di bidang pertanian dan perdagangan, seperti UMKM, membutuhkan adanya perlindungan hak kekayaan intelektual yang dimiliki. Perlindungan hak kekayaan intelektual (HKI) diartikan sebagai perlindungan hukum yang diberikan negara kepada individu, kelompok, atau badan yang ide dan gagasannya diwujudkan dalam bentuk karya cipta. Dengan menggunakan metode yuridis empiris, penelitian ini menganalisis tantangan yang dihadapi UMKM dalam mendaftarkan merek dan melindungi rahasia dagang, serta dampaknya terhadap keberlanjutan usaha. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar UMKM di Desa Semirejo memiliki kesadaran yang terbatas tentang HKI, terutama terkait prosedur pendaftaran dan manfaat jangka panjang dari perlindungan hukum tersebut. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan adanya peningkatan edukasi dan dukungan dari pemerintah untuk membantu UMKM mengakses perlindungan HKI, yang dapat meningkatkan daya saing dan perlindungan bisnis di pasar yang lebih luas.

Abstract

Keberadaan limbah rajungan dianggap sebagai permasalahan yang berpotensi mencemari lingkungan, salah satu limbah padat yang dihasilkan adalah cangkang dengan jumlah cukup banyak. Salah satu pemanfaatan limbah cangkang rajungan adalah dengan dijadikan sebagai tepung. Pemanfaatan limbah cangkang rajungan dilakukan sebagai upaya untuk mengurangi pencemaran lingkungan dengan cara mengolah limbah rajungan sebagai bahan tambahan pada ransum burung puyuh.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif untuk mengetahui kandungan kalsium yang ada dalam pakan. Data yang didapat dari hasil penelitian disajikan dalam bentuk tabel kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk menarik sebuah kesimpulan hasil penelitian.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kadar kalsium setiap formula pakan ternak burung puyuh yang berbahan cangkang rajungan menunjukkan nilai yang berbeda, perlakuan R2 (dengan tambahan tepung cangkang rajungan 25%) merupakan perlakuan dengan kadar kalsium tertinggi yaitu 0,45%, kadar kalsium untuk 2 perlakuan lain yaitu R0 (tanpa tambahan tepung cangkang rajungan) dan R1 (dengan tambahan tepung cangkang rajungaan 15%) masing-masing memiliki kadar kalsium 0,20% dan 0,28%. Pada penambahan tepung cangkang rajungan 25% diduga akan memenuhi nutrisi pada pakan burung puyuh, akan tetapi jika dibandingkan dengan nilai kadar kalsium pada SNI 01-3931-2006 yakni antara 2,50-3,50% maka semua perlakuan tidak ada yang memenuhi syarat. Penggunaan tepung limbah cangkang rajungan sampai level 25% belum memberikan perbaikan kadar kalsium pada pakan burung puyuh.Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini Pemberian tepung cangkang rajungan dengan level 25% tidak berpengaruh terhadap formula pakan ternak burung puyuh. Penggunaan tepung limbah cangkang rajungan sampai level 25% belum memberikan perbaikan kadar kalsium pada pakan burung puyuh. Adapun saran yang diberikan penulis adalah untuk penelitian selanjutnya bisa ditingkatkan level penggunaan tepung cangkang rajungan untuk perbaikan kadar kalsium pada pakan burung puyuh.

Abstract

Perilaku bullying marak terjadi di Indonesia, terutama di tingkat sekolah dasar. Seringkali dianggap sepele, bullying memiliki dampak negatif pada perkembangan psikologis anak, bahkan meninggalkan trauma. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran konseling kelompok dengan teknik role playing dalam mengatasi perilaku bullying pada siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian pustaka ini bersifat kualitatif menggunakan studi pustaka dengan mengumpulkan dan menganalisis temuan dari penelitian terdahulu yang relevan. Data diperoleh dari jurnal dan artikel yang relevan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa konseling kelompok dengan teknik role playing terbukti efektif dalam mengurangi perilaku bullying. Kajian enam jurnal di atas menunjukkan hasil analisis bahwa teknik role playing dalam konseling kelompok terbukti efektif dalam mengurangi perilaku bullying. Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan role playing terdiri dari beberapa tahapan, mulai dari pemanasan, pemilihan peran, persiapan, pelaksanaan, hingga evaluasi dan refleksi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of zakat on poverty alleviation in Bangkalan Regency by placing education and health as mediating variables. The approach used is quantitative with a case study method, using primary data from the results of questionnaires distributed to zakat beneficiary communities and regional zakat managers. The results of the statistical analysis show that zakat has a direct and significant effect on poverty reduction, and this effect increases significantly when mediated by education and health variables. These findings indicate that zakat not only functions as temporary assistance, but also as a tool for community empowerment if managed strategically. In addition, this study identifies that the effectiveness of zakat is highly dependent on zakat management policies at the regional level, including synergy between zakat institutions and local governments. This study provides theoretical contributions to the development of productive and practical zakat models to strengthen regional zakat policies that are oriented towards development. Recommendations are given for zakat to be made part of a regional development strategy that is integrated with the education and health sectors, in order to achieve sustainable poverty alleviation.

Abstract

Fenomena pernikahan dini saat ini sedang mengalami peningkatan. Indonesia menempati peringkat ke-37 dunia dalam kasus pernikahan anak. Angka pernikahan anak di Indonesia sebesar 23%, dengan satu dari empat perempuan menikah sebelum 18 tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh metode buzz group terhadap tingkat pengetahuan remaja tentang pernikahan dini di Desa Kalen Kecamatan Kedungpring Kabupaten Lamongan. Desain penelitian menggunakan Pre-Eksperimental dengan pendekatan one group pre-post test design. Populasi sebanyak 53 responden, menggunakan teknik Simple Random Sampling didapatkan sebanyak 47 responden. Data penelitian ini diambil menggunakan kuesioner tingkat pengetahuan remaja tentang pernikahan dini. Setelah ditabulasi data yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test dengan tingkat kemaknaan p= <0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebelum diberikan perlakuan dari 47 remaja sebagian besar (61,7%) mempunyai tingkat pengetahuan kurang. Setelah diberikan perlakuan sebagian besar (76,6%) memiliki tingkat pengetahuan baik. Berdasarkan hasil diatas dengan nilai signifikasi p = 0,000. Artinya ada pengaruh pengaruh yang signifikan pada pengetahuan remaja tentang pernikahan dini sesudah diberikan metode Buzz Group. Metode Buzz Group dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan seseorang karena seseorang remaja yang tidak nyaman menyampaikan pendapatnya dalam kelompok dapat menggunakan kelompok kecil untuk menjaga suasana bersahabat sambil tetap memperhatikan orang lain.

Abstract

Film also brings many things to learn, including politeness. This qualitative descriptive study investigates the politeness strategies employed by the underrated characters in the film Turning Red, with a particular focus on the character Jin. The objective of the research is to analyze how assertive and non-assertive politeness strategies are used by Jin and to explore their implications for English language teaching and learning. To identify which characters to analyze, the researchers conducted a document analysis of fan comments gathered from online platforms such as Moviepedia and Looper, ensuring that audience perceptions guided the selection of underrated figures. After identifying the characters, the researchers used the official movie script and examined it through Brown and Levinson’s (1987) politeness framework, following the steps of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing outlined by Miles et al. (2014). The findings reveal that assertive strategies, especially informative acts, were predominant in Jin’s speech, highlighting his role as a calm, supportive problem solver in the film’s family dynamics. Importantly, this study provides meaningful insights for English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learning, showing how analyzing politeness in authentic media can enhance learners’ pragmatic competence, cultural awareness, and communication skills. By linking media analysis with language education, the study underscores the value of films like Turning Red as resources for developing both linguistic and intercultural competence among EFL learners.

Abstract

Learning al-Qowa’id al-Nahwiyyah  required an effective approach. The study evaluated use of concept maps strategy in teaching al-Qowa’id al-Nahwiyyah  at Al-Hidayah Islamic boarding school in Karang Ploso and compared its effectiveness with lecture method. The approach employed both qualitative and quantitative methods. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Qualitative data were analyzed using Sugiyono's model, while quantitative data were analyzed using SPSS 25. The research findings indicated that the utilization of concept maps strategy at Al-Hidayah Islamic boarding school was carried out through several steps, including Introduction of Material, mind map creation, Group Discussion, and Practice. The students perceived that the concept mapping strategy could help organize information effectively, as evidenced by the average satisfaction questionnaire score of 83.4%. Although the use of concept maps was favored by the students, this strategy did not show a significant difference compared to the lecture method, with only a slight average score difference of 1.07. The average score for the concept maps strategy was 85.25, while for the lecture method it was 84.18. As the analysis results using SPSS indicated a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.612 > 0.05 and t value (0.510) < t table (2.042), it was understood that the concept maps strategy did not have a significant difference compared to the lecture method in teaching al-Qowa’id al-Nahwiyyah. Therefore, teaching al-Qowa’id al-Nahwiyyah  using the concept maps strategy was not more effective compared to the lecture method as both could equally enhance students' abilities optimally.
