Abstract

The purpose of this study was to disseminate the results of the Ethnomatematics Exploration on the Kampar Typical Losuong Dance. Losuong dance is one of the typical dances of Kampar. The Losuong dance is a community dance when welcoming the celebration of the rice harvest festival as a form of community gratitude for the blessings of the harvest given by God Almighty. Nowadays, the Losuong Dance is also performed at carnivals and cultural parades, weddings, commemorations of the sinking of the Old Village, Koto Panjang, as a welcoming dance for the arrival of important people, and the opening dance for big events. The research shows that ethnomathematics findings were obtained on the movements, properties, and accompaniment of the Losuong Dance, namely the concept of flat shapes, angles, sets and geometric transformations. In addition, this research can be useful for teachers to reference teaching materials in learning mathematics and to gain students' knowledge about the mathematical concepts in Losuong Dance and can be used as a new reference for future researchers.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity of the instrument to be used in ethnomathematics exploratory research at the Kandil Kemilau Emas Museum on Belimbing Island 1. The subjects in this study consisted of 3 validators who are experts in their fields. This interview sheet can be used as a research need because it has been validated by three validators who are experts in their fields. Based on the validator's assessment of the interview instrument, it is in the valid category.

Abstract

This research is based on the problems that exist in schools namely the lack of student interest in learning mathematics and this requires an innovation of learning media used in schools during the teaching and learning process. This study aims to produce quality instrument validation that will be used in assessing mathematics learning videos based on the wondershare filmora software. This development research uses the Plomp model. The Plomp model consists of 3 stages, preliminary research, prototyping stage and assessment stage. The subjects of this research are 3 expert validators who are competent in their respective fields. This study uses instrument validity, practicality and effectiveness. The research data were collected using observation sheets, interviews and questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used are preliminary data analysis, data validity analysis, data practicality analysis, and data effectiveness analysis. the results of the assessment sheet of interview questions, observations and questionnaires using instrument validation state that these three things are in the very valid category, so that interviews, observations and questionnaires have been used to obtain data and information on the study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity of the instrument used in ethnomathematics exploration research at the traditional house of Lontiok, Kampar Regency. The subjects of this study were 3 validators who are experts in their fields. This study uses validity instruments. The research data was collected using an interview validation sheet. Based on the results of the validation of the interview sheet using instrument validation, the validator stated that the interview sheet was in a very valid category, so that the interview sheet could be used to obtain data and information for research needs.

Abstract

The purpose of this bibliometric analysis to see opportunities and developments in research trends related to critical thinking mathematics ability based on VOS Viewer-based problem solving. The method used is bibliometrics by collecting article data from 2015-2021 through the Google Scholar site with Publish or Perish software for 1,000 journals. The results showed that the most publications in 2015 were 265. Variables related to critical thinking mathematics ability that have opportunities and novelties to be researched in the future are the flipped classroom, high order thinking skills and math anxiety variables.

Abstract

Walangsanga is one of the villages in pemalang regency that has a home industry for making balsam. Clove plants are an agricultural commodity that is widely produced in the area. Farmers there only use clove plants on the flower part, while the leaves have not been utilized. This research method uses Taguchi's experimental design on making balsam from clove leaves. Taguchi's proposed quality engineering aims to make the performance of the product/process not sensitive or resilient to factors that are difficult to control. Where this research focuses on the composition of raw materials, organoleptists, homogeneity and pH values contained in balsam. Orthogonal arrays are used with 2 levels and 5 factors. The results showed that the organoleptic test produced a semisolid balsan, mint smell, and white color. The pH test produces pH values of 4.9 and 5.0 meaning that the balm is safe to apply to human skin. The conclusion obtained from this study is that the manufacture of balsam using the taguchi experimental design produced significant results and there was an increase in quality of 0.475 or an increase of 47.5%.Walangsanga merupakan salah satu desa di wilayah Kabupaten Pemalang yang mempunyai home industri pembuatan balsam. Tanaman cengkeh merupakan komoditi pertanian yang banyak di hasilkan didaerah tersebut. Petani disana hanya memanfaatkan tanaman cengkeh pada bagian bunga saja, sedangakan pada bagian daun belum dimanfaatkan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen Taguchi pada pembuatan balsam dari daun cengkeh. Rekayasa kualitas yang diusulkan Taguchi bertujuan agar performansi produk/prosesnya tidak sensitif atau tangguh terhadap faktor yang sulit dikendalikan. Dimana penelitian ini berfokus pada komposisi bahan baku, organoleptis, homogenitas dan nilai pH yang terkandung pada balsam. Orthogonal array yang digunakan dengan 2 level dan 5 faktor. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada uji organoleptis menghasilkan balsan yang semisolid, bau mint, dan berwarna putih. Uji pH menghasilkan nilai pH sebesar 4,9 dan 5,0 artinya balsam aman untuk diaplikasikan pada kulit manusia. Kesimpulan yang di dapat dari penelitian ini adalah dalam pembuatan balsam dengan menggunakan desain eksperimen taguchi menghasilkan hasil yang signifikan dan terjadi peningkatan kualitas 0,475 atau terjadi peningkatan sebesar 47,5%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar berupa LKPD berbasis pendekatan open-ended untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik SMP kelas VII yang valid, praktis dan efektif pada materi persamaan linear dan mengetahui apakah LKPD tersebut dapat memfasilitasi kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik dan memberikan pembelajaran yang bermakna bagi peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode pengembangan dengan model Plomp dengan tahap analisis pendahuluan, tahap pengembangan, dan tahap penilaian. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas 7 SMP Negeri 2 Bangkinang Kota. Proses pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket untuk lembar validasi ahli dan melalui angket persepsi peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil rekapitulasi validitas dari para validator yang dipilih masuk dalam kategori “Valid”. Hasil analisis data angket validitas dan praktikalitas evaluasi kelompok kecil, diperoleh kategori valid dengan skor 37,8 dan kepraktisan dalam kategori praktis dengan persentase berada diantara 60%-80%. Hasil rata-rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah kelas eksperiman yaitu 85,5 sedangkan rata-rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah kelas kontrol yaitu 50,25. Berdasarkan hasil data tersebut perolehan hasil peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik pada persentase 70% dalam kategori efektif. Dengan demikian, Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis Open-Ended untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan pemecahan masalah peserta didik SMP kelas VII dapat digunakan. Kata kunci : Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD); Open-Ended; Pemecahan Masalah

Abstract

The  purpose  of  the study. The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in extracurricular spint abilities of male students at SMP Negeri 03. The research method was this study using an experiment with a quasi-experimental type of research and the research pattern used in this study was a nonequivalent control group design. Materials and methods. This design involves two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group, and the time of the study was carried out in June 2021. The subjects of this research were 10 extracurricular students of SMP Negeri 03 Bangkinang, Kampar Regency. Results. The results of this study can be concluded that the results of the 100 meter sprint ability of male extracurricular students at SMP Negeri 03 Bangkinang Kampar Regency with an average sprint ability of 100 meters 0.933, thus it can be concluded that by using the hollow sprint method on acceleration can improve the ability to run 100 sprints. Conclusions. Based on the results of data analysis, description, testing of research results and discussion, conclusions can be drawn based on the results of calculations that have been carried out, a significant value of 1.080 1.054 is obtained. Thus, the hypothesis states that there is a significant difference between the hollow sprint and accelerating sprint exercises on the 100-meter running speed of male students of SMP Negeri 3 Bangkinang in the 2020/2021 academic year, which is acceptable.

Abstract

Proses budaya untuk meningkatkan harkat dan martabat manusia, dan berlangsung sepanjang hayat yang dilaksanakan di lingkungan keluarga sekolah dan masyarakat merupakan istilah dari pendidikan. Keberadaan pendidikan diharapkan dapat mempersiapkan pembelajaran, melaksanakan dan menilai hasil belajar para siswa dengan baik, dapat memilih dan menggunakan model-model interaksi belajar mengajar yang tepat Salah satu tindakan yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi masalah pemahaman konsep materi penjumlahan siswa di sekolah dasar yaitu dengan metode gasing (gampang asik dan menyenangkan). Tujuan skripsi ini adalah untuk menganalisis konsep darimetode gasing untuk pemahaman materi penjumlahan siswa di sekolah dasar. Metode penulisan skripsi ini menggunakan pendekatan pada penelitian kualitatif yaitu studi kasus. Hasil penelitian keterampilan berhitung penjumlahan menggunakan metode gasing, siswa mampu menyelesaikan soal dengan benar dan tepat sehingga pretasi belajar siswa meningkat, terampilkan menggunakan metode gasing dalam penjumlahan dalam hal ini siswa tidak mengalami kesulitan dalam pembelajaran berhitung dan belajar secara mandiri langsung mempraktekkan penggunaan media pembelajaran. Kesimpulan terdapat peningkatan pemahamanan materi penjumlahan yang signifikan pada siswa di sekolah dasar setelah di ajarkan menggunakan metode gasing. Studi kasus ini hanya dilakukan pada siswa dengan masalah pemahamanan materi penjumlahan, diharapkan peneliti selanjutnya dapat melakukan studi kasus yang mendalam dan menerapkan metode lain yang lebih efektif untuk meningkatkan konsep pemahaman materi penjumlahan di sekolah dasar. Abstract The cultural process to enhance human dignity and worth, which occurs throughout life within the family, school, and community, is referred to as education. Education is expected to prepare students for learning, implement, and assess their learning outcomes effectively, as well as to select and use appropriate teaching and learning interaction models. One of the actions that can be taken to address the issue of understanding the concept of addition in elementary school students is the use of the Gasing method (fun, easy, and enjoyable). The purpose of this thesis is to analyze theconcept of the Gasing method for understanding addition material in elementary school students. This thesis employs a qualitative research approach, specifically a case study. The results show that students' arithmetic skills in addition, using the Gasing method, enabled them to solve problems correctly and accurately, thus improving their learning outcomes. The Gasing method in addition helped students overcome difficulties in arithmetic learning, allowing them to learn independently and practice using learning media. In conclusion, there was a significant improvement in understanding addition material among elementary school students after being taught using the Gasing method. This case study was conducted only with students who faced difficulties in understanding addition concepts. It is hoped that future researchers will conduct more in-depth case studies and apply other more effective methods to enhance the understanding of addition concepts in elementary schools.
