Abstract

This study explores the strategic role of Islamic Religious Education (Pendidikan Agama Islam/PAI) in shaping legal awareness among Muslim communities in Indonesia, a nation where Islamic legal norms coexist with a comprehensive system of positive law. Legal awareness is a fundamental element in sustaining social order, strengthening obedience to law, and promoting harmony between religious obligations and national legal frameworks. Adopting a qualitative, literature-based research design, this study employs a normative legal approach supported by secondary data drawn from classical and contemporary Islamic legal sources, statutory regulations, and relevant academic literature. The analysis yields three significant findings. First, a noticeable gap remains between the normative ideals embedded in PAI curricula and the actual legal behavior exhibited within Muslim communities. Second, the internalization of legal principles is often constrained by cultural patterns, social habits, and structural limitations that dilute the pedagogical impact of PAI. Third, the effectiveness of PAI in fostering legal consciousness can be strengthened through integrated juridical, educational, and socio-cultural strategies that align Islamic values with the objectives of Indonesian positive law. Overall, this study highlights the transformative potential of PAI as a bridging instrument that harmonizes Islamic legal ethics with state law, thereby contributing to a more legally aware and socially responsible Muslim society.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the inquiry model on concept mastery and entrepreneurial values in the material of biological technology innovation. The research was conducted with 10th-grade high school students in the academic year 2024/2025. A quantitative quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest design was used to assess the effect of the model on concept mastery, while a posttest-only design was used to evaluate entrepreneurial values. To obtain data on students' concept mastery after the treatment, a multiple-choice test was administered, while entrepreneurial values were assessed using a non-test method in the form of a questionnaire. The results of hypothesis testing through an Independent Sample T-Test yielded t-values of 15.367 and 16.692 with a significance level of less than 0.05 (sig = 0.0005 < 0.05). The conclusion of the study indicates that the inquiry learning model has an effect on students' concept mastery and entrepreneurial values in biological technology innovation at the high school level.   Keywords: Biology, Entrepreneur, Inquiry Model, Concept Mastery

Abstract

Freshwater crayfish (Cherax quadricarinatus) is a valuable aquaculture commodity with relatively easy cultivation. However, low larval survival during early developmental stages remains a major challenge in its farming. This study aims to evaluate the effects of dissolved glucose and amino acid combinations on growth characteristics, molting frequency, and survival rate. The research was conducted in the Greenhouse of the Faculty of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, and Fisheries, Universitas Muhammadiyah Parepare, using hatchery-produced crayfish larvae. Four dosage combinations were tested: A) 100 ppm glucose + 250 ppm amino acids, B) 150 ppm glucose + 200 ppm amino acids, C) 200 ppm glucose + 150 ppm amino acids, and D) 250 ppm glucose + 100 ppm amino acids, each replicated three times. The results showed that glucose and amino acid combinations significantly affected crayfish length growth. The highest absolute length growth was observed in the 250 ppm glucose + 100 ppm amino acid group. Meanwhile, the 150 ppm glucose + 200 ppm amino acid combination showed the best performance in molting frequency, number of molting crayfish, survival rate, and percentage of surviving crayfish. The optimal treatment for supporting freshwater crayfish growth and development was the 150 ppm glucose + 200 ppm amino acid combination. Keywords:Cherax quadricarinatusGlucoseamino acidsgrowth characteristicssurvival ratemolting

Abstract

This study aims to produce teaching materials in Electronic Student Worksheets (E-LKPD) based on STEM in an Islamic context to improve creative thinking skills in the human digestive system. The development process involved validity testing by six experts, readability testing by 18 students, and field trials by one biology teacher and 36 students. The study results indicate that the developed E-LKPD is highly valid and effective. The E-LKPD achieved an average validity rating of 90.87%, classified as feasible. Regarding readability, it scored an average of 98.84%, indicating it is highly appropriate for users. Furthermore, field trials revealed positive feedback from teachers and students, with feasibility ratings of 91.26% and 98.49%, respectively, confirming that the E-LKPD is very well-received and effective in practical use. There is an increase in the average ability to think creatively as measured through test instruments. The study significantly enhances students' creative thinking abilities by implementing E-LKPD. Before using E-LKPD, the average creative thinking score was 34.86, which increased to 72.08 after implementation, with an N-Gain of 0.55, categorized as medium. These results demonstrate that E-LKPD is highly suitable for learning activities and effectively improves students' creative thinking skills.
