Abstract

This study aims to determine and examine the relationship between patient satisfaction, professionalism of service providers, and intention to revisit the hospital so that it can be input for hospitals to improve the quality of their services and build good relationships with patients. This study is a quantitative study using a survey method. Sampling was carried out using the Purposive Sampling Technique. The population was patients and their families at PKU Muhammadiyah Surakarta Hospital. The study was conducted on 153 respondents. Data collection was done using a questionnaire on Google Forms, and regression analysis was used as an analysis technique. The findings show that the professionalism of service providers has a positive effect on patient satisfaction, patient satisfaction has a positive effect on intention to revisit, and the professionalism of service providers has a positive effect on intention to revisit. In addition, the professionalism of service providers through patient satisfaction has a significant effect on the intention to revisit.

Abstract

Background: Employees are the most important human resource in a company because they have a direct influence on institutional operations in achieving organizational goals. The main problem in health service management is a shortage of health workers due to turnover or intention to leave work. This research aims to analyze the factors that reduce the desire to leave among health personnel. Subjects and Method: This research uses a meta-analysis based on PICO as follows; population: health workers; intervention: satisfied autonomy, good working environment, length of service > 5 years, low workload; comparison: autonomy not satisfied, poor working environment, length of service < 5 years, high workload; outcome: intention to leave work. Data was obtained from the PubMed, Google Scholar, Science Direct databases published from 2013-2022. The keywords in the article search are "Autonomy", "Work Environment", "Work Experience", "Workload", "Intention to Out", "Turnover Intention". "Cross Sectional". Article selection used PRISMA Flowchart and results were analyzed using Review Manager 5.4 software. Results: This study was conducted on 14 articles from Ethiopia, Ghana, California, Peru with a sample size of 9,555 professional health workers. Meta-analysis results concluded that satisfied work autonomy (aOR=0.22; CI 95%=0.06 to 0.85; p=0.030), low workload (aOR=0.60; CI 95%=0.46 to 0.78; p<0.001), had the desire out of work low. The meta-analysis results of the work environment were good (aOR=0.51; CI 95%=0.23 to 1.14; p=0.100), work experience >5 years (aOR=0.51; CI 95%=0.23 to 1.14; p=0.100) was not significantly influenced. Conclusion: Satisfied job autonomy and low workload reduce the intention to leave work among health workers. Health workers' desire to leave work is not significantly influenced by work experience or work environment.

Abstract

The purpose of this literature review is to explore and synthesize empirical evidence regarding the influence of work–family conflict, work–life balance, and job satisfaction on nurses’ intention to stay in hospital settings. A narrative review approach was employed, gathering studies from Scopus, PubMed, and Google Scholar. From an initial pool of 267 articles, 35 met the inclusion criteria, which focused on nurses, hospital-based contexts, and methodological clarity. The findings reveal that work–family conflict negatively affects both work–life balance and job satisfaction, which in turn lowers the intention to stay. Conversely, work–life balance and job satisfaction serve as critical mediators that can buffer the negative impact of role conflict on workforce retention. The review is framed by Role Stress Theory and Social Exchange Theory to explain the dynamic relationships among variables. These findings underscore the importance of organizational support mechanisms, such as flexible work arrangements, performance recognition, and psychological well-being programs, to improve nurses’ motivation and long-term retention. In conclusion, promoting positive work–life interaction and enhancing job satisfaction are essential strategies for sustaining a stable nursing workforce in hospital environments, particularly in high-demand and resource-limited healthcare systems.

Abstract

Ringkasan: Latar Belakang: Digitalisasi rekam medis elektronik (RME) menjadi kebutuhan di rumah sakit, meningkatkan mutu layanan namun implementasinya belum sepenuhnya optimal dan berdampak pada variabilitas kepuasan pengguna. Tujuan: Menganalisis hubungan antara penggunaan RME terhadap kepuasan pengguna sebagai dasar kebijakan pengembangan sistem di rumah sakit swasta. Metode: Studi analitik cross-sectional terhadap 132 responden (dokter, perawat, radiologi, laboratorium, kasir) dari lima RS dengan kuesioner HOT Fit, analisis univariat dan bivariat (uji Chi Square, r). Hasil: Penggunaan RME kategori baik (50,76%) berkorelasi kuat dengan tingkat kepuasan (r=0,609; p<0,05); variabel human, organisasi, teknologi, dan manfaat memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan penggunaan RME. Simpulan: Penggunaan RME berdampak pada peningkatan kepuasan dan efektivitas kerja, khususnya pada pengguna yang aktif dan telah mendapat pelatihan terstandar. Saran: Rumah sakit perlu mempertahankan, mengembangkan fitur sesuai kebutuhan pengguna, dan melakukan pelatihan berkala agar optimalisasi kepuasan tercapai.

Abstract

Patient satisfaction serves as a critical indicator in evaluating the quality of healthcare service delivery. This study stems from concerns regarding extended waiting times experienced by patients at the Pediatric Polyclinic of Indriati Hospital Boyolali, which are believed to contribute to diminished satisfaction and loyalty among service users. The primary objective of this research is to assess and map the influence of service waiting time and service quality on patient satisfaction, as well as to examine the subsequent impact on patient loyalty toward the healthcare institution. A quantitative research approach was employed using a survey method, with data analyzed through causal statistical techniques utilizing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS). Data were collected via a convenience sampling method, involving 100 respondents who were currently receiving or had recently received services at the Pediatric Polyclinic of Indriati Hospital Boyolali. The findings reveal that both service waiting time and service quality have a significant and positive impact on patient satisfaction. Furthermore, these two variables also directly affect patient loyalty. Importantly, patient satisfaction was found to act as a significant mediating variable, bridging the influence of service waiting time and service quality on loyalty. These results underscore the necessity of enhancing service process efficiency and improving the quality of service interactions as key strategies for building trust and fostering long-term loyalty among hospital service users.

Abstract

Tinjauan pustaka ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mensintesis temuan-temuan penelitian mengenai persepsi pasien terhadap pelayanan rumah sakit di Indonesia. Pemahaman akan persepsi pasien sangat krusial dalam upaya peningkatan mutu pelayanan kesehatan, yang pada gilirannya akan berdampak pada kepuasan dan loyalitas pasien. Metode tinjauan sistematis digunakan, dengan mengidentifikasi, mengumpulkan, dan menganalisis artikel jurnal relevan secara naratif dan tematik untuk mensintesis temuan. Berbagai studi menunjukkan variasi persepsi pasien, dengan mayoritas melaporkan tingkat kepuasan moderat hingga baik, namun aspek tangibles (bukti fisik) dan reliability (keandalan) seringkali menjadi area dengan penilaian terendah. Faktor-faktor seperti sikap, motif, kepentingan, pengalaman, harapan, serta karakteristik pasien (umur, jenis kelamin, pendidikan, pekerjaan) memengaruhi persepsi secara signifikan. Tinjauan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan implikasi praktis bagi manajemen rumah sakit dan pembuat kebijakan dalam merumuskan strategi peningkatan mutu pelayanan yang berorientasi pada pasien.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership on work motivation, employee performance, and business sustainability at Pala Raya Hospital (RSIA Pala Raya) in Tegal Regency, and to examine the mediating role of work motivation and employee performance in this relationship. The background of this study is based on the decline in patient visits and hospital revenue, which raises the need for a sustainability strategy based on internal organizational strengthening. The research method used is a quantitative explanatory approach with a total sampling technique of 200 employee respondents, and data analysis was conducted using SEM-PLS through SmartPLS 4.0. The results show that transformational leadership has a significant and positive effect on work motivation and employee performance, and has an impact on the sustainability of the hospital's business. Work motivation has a stronger influence than performance on sustainability. The mediation test shows that work motivation is a significant mediator in the relationship between transformational leadership and business sustainability, while employee performance is not. The study also identified various obstacles in the implementation of transformational leadership, such as lack of training, bureaucratic culture, and a reward system that does not support innovation. These findings emphasize the importance of the role of inspirational and participatory leadership in building motivation and supporting hospital sustainability.

Abstract

Pengobatan selama kehamilan dan menyusui memerlukan perkiraan yang cermat dari rasio risiko/manfaat bagi ibu dan bayinya, sehingga penggunaan obat harus selalu diawasi oleh tenaga kesehatan seperti Apoteker. Penelitian ini bertujuan melakukan evaluasi tentang pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku Apoteker terhadap ketepatan penggunaan obat selama kehamilan dan menyusui. Penelitian ini juga menganalisis hubungan faktor demografi dengan pengetahuan, sikap, dan perilaku Apoteker terhadap ketepatan penggunaan obat selama kehamilan dan menyusui. Studi cross sectional dilakukan pada populasi apoteker di Kota Surakarta yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 193 orang. Pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku dinilai dengan kuesioner yang disusun oleh peneliti dengan menggunakan literatur pendukung dan dinilai oleh expert judgement. Pengetahuan dikategorikan menjadi baik, cukup dan kurang, sikap dan perilaku dikategorikan menjadi baik dan kurang baik. Analisis hubungan variabel dilakukan dengan uji chi-square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan apoteker memiliki pengetahuan baik sebesar 56,1% terhadap ketepatan penggunaan obat selama kehamilan dan menyusui. Apoteker memiliki sikap baik untuk melakukan pelayanan aktif terhadap ketepatan penggunaan obat selama kehamilan dan menyusui sebesar 99,5%. Apoteker memiliki perilaku baik terhadap pelayanan aktif pada ketepatan penggunaan obat pada ibu hamil dan menyusui sebesar 78,5%. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan (p<0.05) antara lama praktik dengan perilaku Apoteker.

Abstract

Gangguan jiwa yang dialami oleh penduduk Indonesia salah satunya yaitu gangguan kecemasan. Gangguan kecemasan mulai terjadi sejak usia remaja (15-24 tahun), dengan prevalensi 6,2%. Berdasarkan survei yang dilakukan pada tahun 2020 melalui website resmi oleh Perhimpunan Dokter Spesialis Kedokteran Jiwa Indonesia (PDSKJI) sebanyak 1.552 responden didapatkan 63% responden mengalami cemas. Responden paling banyak adalah perempuan 76,1% dengan usia minimal 14 tahun. Remaja perempuan menunjukkan lebih banyak tekanan psikologis, kecemasan dan depresi dibandingkan anak laki-laki. Selain perbedaan gender pada anak remaja, pola asuh keluarga berdasarkan urutan kelahiran juga dapat menyebakan tingkat kecemasan. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Subjek penelitian adalah remaja yang tinggal dibeberapa wilayah di Indonesia, yang terjangkau dalam jejaring sosial secara online dengan memenuhi kriteria restriksi dan dilaksanakan mulai November sampai dengan Desember 2020. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah data identitas responden, kuesioner skala L-MMPI, angket penelitian, dan kuesioner DASS-21. Data yang terkumpul akan diolah dan dianalisis menggunakan uji chi square. Hasil: Hasil uji chi square untuk urutan kelahiran didapatkan nilai p = 0,022 dan OR= 2,105 sedangkan hasil untuk gender didapatkan nilai p= 0,397 dan OR=0,702. Hasil uji regresi logistik didapatkan nilai p untuk urutan kelahiran p= 0,017 dan nilai p untuk gender p= 0,373. Nilai R2 sebesar 0,46%. Kesimpulan: Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh urutan kelahiran terhadap tingkat kecemasan dan tidak ada pengaruh yang bermakna antara gender terhadap tingkat kecemasan.

Abstract

Prevalensi stunting di Indonesia pada tahun 2016 sebesar 38,9%. Sedangkan di Kabupaten Boyolali balita stunting pada tahun 2015 (28%). Pendapatan dan pendidikan di Boyolali sangat rendah yaitu didapatkan 12,09% dan 33,71 % yang tamat SD, hal tersebut akan mempengaruhi tingkat pengetahuannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pendapatan keluarga, pengetahuan ibu tentang gizi, tinggi badan orang tua, dan tingkat pendidikan ayah dengan kejadian stunting pada anak umur12-59 bulan. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional dengan teknik sampling menggunakan cluster sampling. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 70 sebanyak 35 balita mengalami stunting dan 35 balita tidak mengalami stunting yang memenuhi syarat kriteria restriksi. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan pengukuran tinggi badan menggunakan microtoise kemudian di Analisis data menggunakan uji regresi logistik. Berdasarkan analisis uji regresi logistik pengaruh terjadinya stunting yang dominan pengetahuan ibu tentang gizi didapatkan nilai p=0,027 dan OR=3,801. Hal tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengetahuan ibu tentang gizi yang rendah merupakan faktor risiko terjadinya stunting pada balita dengan risiko sebesar 3,801.
