Abstract

Does Cloud-Based LMS Promote Engaging and Enjoyable Learning? Evidence from High School Accounting Education. Accounting is perceived as one of the most difficult subjects among many secondary school students. This problem may arise from the lack of student involvement in learning on the one hand, and from teachers’ use of non-interactive teaching practices on the other. This study bridges the learning gap by using LMS-based Web Cloud Computing media in accounting as a fun and effective learning medium to improve students’ learning outcomes. Objective:  This study aims to enhance learning outcomes by creating a fun learning environment by stimulating student participation through LMS-based web cloud computing media. Methods: Quantitative method with quasi-experimental research design with experimental and control classes in grade XII-SMA N 14, Semarang City. Data were gathered through pre- and post-tests to find out the improvement and effectiveness of learning outcomes. A survey was administered to determine whether the media used were acceptable to the students. The data were analyzed using Independent Samples t-tests, Paired Samples t-test, and N-Gain Test. Results: The findings show that the Learning Management System (LMS) web-based cloud computing platform was perceived as a fun virtual learning medium for learning accounting. The findings demonstrate that over 80% of respondents were strong supporters of all indicators, including the idea that LMS-based cloud computing web media is a fun medium. Conclusion: the cloud-based LMS is effective in enhancing students’ accounting learning achievement, at a moderate level.  The article contributes to theory development by providing a framework for the rational and empirical use of LMS-supported web cloud media computing.  Practical implications: This study offers practical guidance for educators seeking to create meaningful, interactive, and applicable learning media that support student learning outcomes. Keywords: cloud computing, web, learning management system, fun learning media, learning outcomes.

Abstract

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia continues to strive for renewal and adaptation, including in the field of education. One way is by Implementing the Independent Curriculum (IKM). The IKM is an effort to catch up on learning losses due to the COVID-19 pandemic by returning school and local government authorities to manage their own education in accordance with conditions in their area. Even so, there are still many obstacles and confusion, especially for teachers in preparing for the learning process, one of which is in the education unit area of Semarang Regency. Teachers still do not optimally know the Learning Outcomes (CP), the formulation of Learning Objectives (TP), the preparation of Learning Objectives Flow (ATP) from Learning Objectives (TP), and the design of Teaching Modules. This service focuses on preparing differentiated teaching modules as a form of IKM acceleration. The method used is to conduct a workshop on preparing differentiated teaching modules based on the case method, followed by assistance in pre- and post-activity and program evaluation monitoring. This program targets partners, namely economics teachers, who are members of the Economics Subject Teacher Consultation (MGMP) throughout Semarang Regency. The results of this activity showed that teachers were very interested and able to improve the skills and understanding of teachers in preparing differentiated modules. The suggestion for this activity is that the relevant agencies always provide training in preparing differentiated teaching modules until all teachers follow, and in the future, it is hoped that the relevant parties and many universities will carry out evaluation training in the independent curriculum.

Abstract

Tourism is a key economic sector in Indonesia, significantly contributing to foreign exchange and national revenue. Developing a sustainable tourism strategy requires collaboration across academia, businesses, communities, government, media, and NGOs. However, one major challenge in Indonesia’s tourism sector is the lack of synergistic, comprehensive, and integrated stakeholder collaboration. To address this issue, this study aims to develop a sustainable tourism strategy for Pati Regency based on the hexa helix model, which emphasizes multi-stakeholder engagement in tourism destinations. Using a mixed-methods approach, this research incorporates qualitative methods—such as interviews, observations, and documentation—and a quantitative analysis through MACTOR (Matrix of Alliance, Conflicts, Tactics, Objectives, Recommendations) to map stakeholder interactions. Findings reveal a high level of alignment between the Youth, Sports, and Tourism Office (DINPORAPAR) and SMEs, scoring 21.7 on the convergence scale. The primary focus for sustainable development is on enhancing innovation and competitive ability, identified as the most influential objective.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the factors that determine accounting teachers' intentions to use artificial intelligence in learning using the technology acceptance model (TAM) that has been developed. The research respondents were high school and vocational school accounting teachers in Semarang City, Central Java, Indonesia. 73 units of data were obtained using accidental sampling techniques. Questionnaires developed by previous researchers were used to obtain research data. SEM-PLS is used as a data analysis method. The research results indicate that only perceived usefulness can determine the level of teacher intention to utilize AI in learning. Other variables were not proven to have a significant influence. Some respondents thought that using AI was not an easy thing to do. Facilities and social support cannot encourage them to utilize AI in learning. Respondents also do not have sufficient IT competency, so they appear worried and less confident about utilizing AI in learning. The practical implication of this research is the importance of training and education for teachers so that they can utilize AI in learning because they are already convinced of the benefits of AI.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology requires innovative learning media to improve the student learning experience. This study discusses the development of microlearning-based correspondence learning media designed for Vocational High School (SMK) students under the auspices of the Indonesian Association of Scholars and Office Administration Practitioners (Aspapi) in Jakarta area. The main problem in correspondence learning is the limited effective media to increase students' focus and learning independence. Students often have difficulty in structuring sentences when writing letters and are reluctant to think deeply due to the familiarity with informal communication through social media as well as a lack of knowledge of formal correspondence. This research aims to develop microlearning-based learning media in correspondence learning. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the Dick & Carey development model, which includes needs analysis to summative evaluation. The respondents in this study are students of Aspapi's partner vocational schools in Jakarta. The results show that microlearning-based learning media significantly increases the effectiveness of correspondence learning. Students demonstrate better comprehension and increased learning independence thanks to concise and directed microlearning content, in accordance with their digital communication habits. Interactive and accessible media design also helps to overcome low literacy competence and student learning motivation.  Based on the above findings, it can be concluded that the development of microlearning-based learning media has proven to be an effective solution in overcoming challenges in correspondence learning. This media is able to improve students' writing skills, critical thinking, and learning independence, so similar innovations are recommended to be applied to other administrative and vocational subjects.
