Abstract

ABSTRACT Many studies have shown a correlation between periodontitis and rheumatoid arthritis, and both areinflammatory diseases that cause damage to their surrounding tissues and have similar characteristics. Periodontitiscan cause an increased erythrocyte sedimentation rate and C-reactive protein in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patientsand can cause systemic inflammation in RA. This review aims to assess the association between the severity ofperiodontitis and rheumatoid arthritis. The method of this study is scoping review. PRISMA method is used as aguideline for searching and selecting articles using four electronic databases with criteria (P: Population)periodontitis and rheumatoid arthritis patients, (C: Concept) Relationship between periodontitis and rheumatoidarthritis, (C: Context) periodontal medicine. Articles selection based on the inclusion criteria: journals published in2011-2020, research methods using case-control, cohort, or RCT, subjects diagnosed with RA and Periodontitis, andsubjects age at least 18 years old and exclusion criteria are subjects were pregnant and issues diagnosed with otherdiseases. Six articles included one cohort study and five case-control studies. The result showed a positivecorrelation between periodontitis and RA. Abstract

ABSTRACT Periodontitis is a disease of surrounding dental tissue with a prevalence of 74.1% inIndonesia. Many studies show periodontitis plays a role in the progression of atherosclerosis. Therelationship between these two conditions shows that scaling root planing intervention can reduce therisk of atherosclerosis. This study aimed to know the efficacy of scaling root planing on changes ininflammatory biomarkers in periodontitis patients with atherosclerosis. This systematic literature reviewwas conducted using the Rapid Review method that refers to the Preferred Reporting Items forSystematic Review and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) guidelines. Electronic searches were carried out from 4electronic databases, including the National Library of Medicine (Medline / PubMed), The CochraneLibrary, EbscoHOST, and SAGE Journal. Inclusion and exclusion criteria selected 6 RCT articles to beanalyzed qualitatively. Within 2 to 6 months, research in 6 RCT articles showed the results insignificantly reducing CRP levels as the main biomarkers of atherosclerosis after scaling root planingintervention. Other biomarkers that were also assessed are cytokines levels, lipid profile components,WBC, and fibrinogen. Overall results showed a positive effect of scaling root planing intervention inreducing the inflammatory biomarker levels of atherosclerosis in periodontitis patients withatherosclerosis. The treatment of scaling root planing is considered effective in reducing theinflammatory biomarker levels of atherosclerosis in periodontitis patients with atherosclerosis to reducethe level of risk. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of BMN assets in 2022 and formulate a strategy for optimizing assets based on commercialization. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection through semi-structured interviews. Data collection involved 11 (eleven) internal and external sources through purposive sampling, including the Director of Evaluation of BP Batam, Terminal General Manager, Head of UAKPB, and tenants. Data analysis was carried out through reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions, as well as integrating SWOT-TOWS analysis strengthened by triangulation. The results of the study indicate that the management of BMN assets in BUP Batam is still hampered by cultural factors, training, innovation incentives, as well as centralized bureaucracy and authority. The best strategy for optimizing the Sekupang Terminal is the S-O Strategy which relies on strategic location, modern infrastructure, and pro-business policies to encourage the commercialization of public assets. BP Batam is advised to implement a market demand-based strategy, such as tenant cooperation, retail zone development, and premium services. In addition, the government needs to establish a more flexible asset management policy to increase efficiency, attract private investment, and balance regulations with optimization of income and social benefits. This commercialization strategy is expected to increase the productivity of Sekupang Terminal, strengthen fiscal independence, and create broader economic and social impacts.   Keywords: State-Owned Goods (BMN), Commercialization, Asset Optimization, Regulation, HR

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the quality of the Accounting Vocational Competency Examination (Ujian Kompetensi Keahlian/UKK) at SMK Muhammadiyah 6 Medan through the active involvement of academic professionals as strategic partners. The school faces several challenges, including limited access to qualified external examiners, a lack of integration between the school curriculum and industry standards, and the need to improve the validity of assessment instruments. The program was conducted through several stages: needs assessment, training in competency-based test development, technical assistance during the UKK implementation, and evaluation of exam outcomes. The results indicate that the involvement of academicians not only improved the validity and reliability of the UKK process but also strengthened the linkage between secondary education and higher education institutions. Moving forward, this collaboration is expected to continue through curriculum alignment and teacher competency development.

Abstract

Lecturer Performance, Academic Service Quality, Availability of Facilities and Infrastructure in Islamic universities have a major impact on the quality of education, scientific development, and entry into the institution. Based on initial observations, STAIN Sultan Abdurrahman Kepri has a low level of Student Satisfaction in 3 aspects. This research is a quantitative study. The primary data source was obtained from students of STAIN Sultan Abdurrahman Kepulauan Riau consisting of 11 study programs with a total of 92 students. The instrument used to collect data in this study was in the form of a digital questionnaire as the main instrument and observation as a supporting instrument. The results of this study Constant (15.707), This shows the basic value of student satisfaction when all independent variables are zero. In this context, the theoretical value that shows the basic level of satisfaction without the influence of lecturer performance, academic service quality, or the availability of facilities and infrastructure. Lecturer Performance (0.175), This coefficient shows that every one unit increase in lecturer performance, assuming other variables remain constant, will increase student satisfaction by 0.175 units. This shows that lecturer performance has a positive and significant influence on student satisfaction. Academic Service Quality (0.191), This coefficient shows that every one unit increase in academic service quality, assuming other variables remain constant, will increase student satisfaction by 0.191 units. This indicates that the quality of academic service also contributes positively and significantly to student satisfaction. Availability of Facilities and Infrastructure (-0.011), This negative coefficient shows that every one unit increase in the availability of facilities and infrastructure, assuming other variables remain constant, will reduce student satisfaction by 0.011 units, this shows that the availability of facilities and infrastructure is still inadequate, and needs to be improved.
