Abstract

Although North Sumatra's cattle farms have enormous potential for development, there are still several issues that hinder productivity and efficiency. The comparative advantages and development strategies of cattle farming in the region are the subject of this study. The methods used include literature analysis and secondary data from various relevant sources. The results showed that, although local cattle have advantages in terms of adaptation to the environment, their productivity is lower than imported cattle such as Brahman Cross. Some of the factors that lead to low productivity include poor feed management, limited use of technology such as artificial insemination, and an ineffective marketing system. In addition, this study found that by improving the efficiency of agricultural waste as feed, cattle farming can thrive, the use of biogas and improved marketing systems through farmer cooperatives. Improving the competitiveness of cattle farming in North Sumatra can be achieved through the application of technology and local wisdom-based approaches. This research is expected to help in making policies and strategies to develop more efficient and sustainable cattle farming in the future.

Abstract

Jakarta is a metropolitan city that brings together various cultures. The activity of consuming food with diverse options has become a part of daily lifestyle, and social media plays an important role in this activity. Popular food trends can marginalize the existence of local cultures and traditional foods. Iki Koue is a traditional cake business that has been established since 2015. This research aims to identify the influence of media and curiosity due to social media marketing activities, which have the potential to affect and increase the intention to consume traditional food. The study employs a quantitative approach with non-probability sampling techniques, specifically purposive sampling, involving 100 respondents. Data were collected through an online survey and analyzed using IBM SPSS 25, employing multiple linear regression analysis, validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, as well as the Coefficient of Determination (R²) test, F test, and t-test. The results indicate that all hypotheses were proven to be positive and statistically significant. This finding shows that Media Influence and Curiosity can enhance the Consumption Intention for the traditional cakes from Iki Koue.

Abstract

Appropriate Technology is a trantition application from the traditional technology to modern technology. Appropriate Technology is designed by adapting the enviromental, cultural, social, political and economic society with simple principles, affordable and easy to implemnet. Toto Harjo village has good agricultural potential. In order to improve the quality of agricultural land and also deal with household waste that is nt used properly. Community service activities are carried out by providing education about making compost fertilizer that utilizes organic waste form local farmers household. Implementation of community service activities is carried out trough 3 stages, the preparation stage, implementation stage and evaluation stage. The preparatory stages were carried out by making direct observations in Toto Harjo Village regarding organic waste processing problems. In the implementation stage, activities were carried out involving 26 Toto Mulyo Village farmers. The activity was carried out by providing material on how to process organic fertilizer from household waste using the stacked bucket method and practiced directly, which was actively followed by the farmers of Toto Mulyo Village. Evaluation activities are carried out by distributing questionnaires containing participants' understanding and satisfaction with the service activities carried out. The results of the questionnaire show that the community really understands and hopes that similar activities can continue to be carried out

Abstract

This research analyzes the Constitutional Court Decision Number 62/PPU-XXII/2024 regarding the constitutionality of the presidential threshold and its implications for the development of inclusive democracy in Indonesia. Using a juridical-normative and conceptual approach, this study examines the presidential threshold provisions as regulated in Article 222 of Law Number 7 of 2017 on General Elections from the perspective of inclusive democracy theory and electoral systems. The results show that the Constitutional Court affirmed the constitutionality of the presidential threshold as an open legal policy of the legislators, while also noting that lawmakers should reconsider the threshold percentage in future revisions of the Election Law. This research identifies a tension between two equally important democratic values: government effectiveness and political representation. On one hand, the presidential threshold can strengthen the presidential system by encouraging political party consolidation and creating more stable governance. On the other hand, this provision potentially limits political inclusivity by reducing the diversity of choices for voters and restricting opportunities for small or new political parties to nominate presidential and vice-presidential candidates independently. This study concludes that to realize a more inclusive democracy following the Constitutional Court Decision, further efforts are needed to reform the electoral system, strengthen political parties, enhance political education, and develop innovations in political participation.

Abstract

Increasing awareness of problems in the surrounding environment is one of the reasons why many people are increasingly concerned about the environmental impact of every product they use, including cosmetic products. Technological developments have a very important influence on the dissemination of information about environmentally friendly cosmetic products. The role of social media is very necessary in disseminating information about environmentally friendly cosmetic products. This research aims to analyze the influence of social media marketing activities on self-brand connections both directly and through the mediation of user engagement. This research distributed questionnaires to 235 respondents and used a non-probability method with purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed using the SEM method with the help of SPSS and AMOS programs. This research hopes: (1) there will be a positive influence of SMMA on self-brand connections; (2) there is an influence of SMMA on self-brand connection if there is user engagement as a mediating variable.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how gender equality is implemented through the community development and empowerment program (probebaya) in the Samarinda Mayor's office, then what obstacles exist, as well as the efforts made in implementing probebaya to realize gender equality in Samarinda City. Type of descriptive qualitative research. The research was conducted at the Mayor of Samarinda's office in March 2024 - May 2024. The subject of this research was the Head of the BAPPERIDA Sub-Government Team, Samarinda Community Self-Help Activator JabFung DP2PA, BAPPERIDA Community Equality and Welfare JabFung using observation, interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusion. The research results show that the analysis of gender equality in the implementation of development and community empowerment programs (probebaya) at the Samarinda Mayor's Office has been carried out evenly, starting from the roles of men, women and people with disabilities. This Probebaya program is also purely from, by and for the community. This is because the impact can be felt directly by the community itself, starting from the infrastructure sector, the economic sector, the socio-cultural sector, the health sector, the education sector and the youth sector, all of which are implemented at the RT level on a small scale.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas peran kegiatan ekstrakurikuler berbasis keagamaan dalam pembentukan karakter religius peserta didik. Kegiatan seperti pengajian, tahfiz Al-Qur'an, dan kajian akhlak memberikan ruang bagi siswa untuk mengaplikasikan nilai-nilai agama dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa kegiatan tersebut membantu mengembangkan nilai-nilai seperti kejujuran, kesabaran, dan tanggung jawab. Meskipun demikian, terdapat kendala seperti keterbatasan fasilitas dan partisipasi siswa yang mempengaruhi efektivitasnya. Dukungan yang memadai diperlukan agar kegiatan ini dapat berjalan optimal.

Abstract

Manajemen pengelolaan pembayaran tagihan listrik merupakan aspek penting dalam memastikan keberlanjutan penyediaan layanan energi listrik. Kepatuhan pelanggan dalam membayar tagihan tepat waktu sangat memengaruhi stabilitas keuangan perusahaan penyedia layanan seperti PT PLN (Persero). Penelitian ini berfokus pada pengelolaan pembayaran tagihan listrik pra-bayar dan strategi yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan pelanggan di PLN ULP Kolaka. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara langsung kepada manajer dan staf PLN. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknologi digital, layanan pelanggan yang responsif, dan kampanye sosialisasi merupakan langkah efektif dalam meningkatkan kepatuhan pelanggan. Kesimpulannya, manajemen pengelolaan yang baik didukung oleh teknologi dan komunikasi yang efektif dapat meningkatkan kepatuhan pelanggan dan memastikan kelangsungan operasional perusahaan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pembiayaan murabahah, musyarakah, dan mudharabah terhadap profitabilitas KSPPS Muharjam Kolaka melalui kajian pustaka. Pembiayaan murabahah ditemukan sebagai akad dominan yang berkontribusi signifikan terhadap profitabilitas karena margin tetap dan risiko yang relatif rendah, meskipun kontribusinya dapat menurun ketika tingkat Non-Performing Financing (NPF) meningkat. Musyarakah memiliki potensi positif terhadap profitabilitas, tetapi efektivitasnya sangat dipengaruhi oleh kualitas monitoring usaha. Mudharabah menghadirkan hasil penelitian yang beragam; meskipun mendukung prinsip bagi hasil, praktiknya seringkali terkendala oleh moral hazard dan asimetri informasi. Secara simultan, ketiga akad ini berkontribusi terhadap profitabilitas, dengan murabahah sebagai faktor utama, musyarakah sebagai faktor pendukung, dan mudharabah yang masih perlu penguatan tata kelola. Kajian ini memberikan kontribusi teoritis mengenai strategi pengelolaan portofolio pembiayaan syariah pada KSPPS agar profitabilitas dapat ditingkatkan secara optimal.
