Abstract

This study aims to analyze differences of students critical thinking skills in social studies (Two Stay Two Stray and Snowball Throwing). The method used is the quasi-experimental design to provide treatment to different classes. The result showed that there are differences of students’ critical thinking skills in social studies (Two Stay two Stray and Snowball Throwing) learning models and initial ability (high and low), there are differences in students’ critical thinking skills in social studies which the learning used Two Stay two Stray and Snowball Throwing without regarding to students initial ability, there are differences in students’ critical thingking skills that have high and low initial ability without considering the learning model, there is an interaction between the learning with initial ability of the students critical thinking skills.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS antarmodel pembelajaran (Two Stay Two Stray dan Snowball Throwing). Metode yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan rancangan eksperimen semu dengan memberikan perlakuan pada dua kelas yang berbeda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS antarmodel pembelajaran (Two Stay Two Stray dan Snowball Throwing)  dan antar kemampuan awal (tinggi dan rendah), ada  perbedaan kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS yang pembelajarannya menggunakan pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray dan Snowball Throwing  tanpa memperhatikan kemampuan awal siswa, ada perbedaan kemampuan berfikir kritis pada mata pelajaran IPS yang memiliki kemampuan awal tinggi  dan rendah tanpa mempertimbangkan model pembelajaran, ada interaksi antara model  pembelajaran dengan kemampuan awal  terhadap  kemampuan berfikir kritis.Kata kunci: kemampuan berfikir kritis, snowball throwing, two stay two stray

Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to apply inquiry learning that can increase student’s critical thinking ability and student’s learning achievement. To increase student’s critical thinking ability and student’s learning achievement with classroom action research by using inquiry learning. The data collecting technique was through observation, questionnaire and written test. Based on the observation and the questionnaire of critical thinking ability the students got an increase in each cycles. Based on the result of written test it was known that students’ learning achievement got an increase that in cycle 1 the percentage of completion reached 51,85 %, after the application of cycle 2 the percentage of completion reached 70,37% and after the application of cycle 3 the percentage of completion reached 92,59%.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menerapkan pembelajaran inkuiri yang dapat meningkatkan  kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dan prestasi belajar siswa. Untuk meningkatakan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan prestasi belajar siswa dengan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan pembelajaran inkuiri. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, angket dan tes tertulis. Berdasarkan observasi dan angket  kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa mengalami  peningkatan untuk setiap siklusnya.  Berdasarkan hasil tes tertulis diketahui prestasi belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan yaitu  pada saat siklus 1 persentase ketuntasan mencapai 51,85 %, setelah pelaksanaan tindakan pada siklus 2 persentase ketuntasan mencapai 70,37 % dan setelah pelaksanaan tindakan siklus 3 persentase ketuntasan mencapai 92,59 %.Kata kunci: pembelajaran inkuiri, kemampuan berpikir kritis, prestasi belajar

Abstract

This research was a case where the low ability preparing financial reports trading companies class XII high schools 1 Natar. The research is namely to know of students ability to preparing financial reports trading companies using learning model cooperative type jigsaw II higher than the two are learning model two stray. The methodology used is the factorial. Engineering data collection was carried out by a test. Analysis techniques data using analysis t. To the hypothesis 1 up to 7 both t test. The research results show that of students ability to preparing financial reports trading companies using learning model cooperative type jigsaw II higher than the two are learning model two stray. There are two a hypothesis that rejected the hypothesis 4 and 7 to the matter journal adjustments and matter draw up the price of a showed that learning model two stay two stray higher than learning model cooperative type jigsaw II.Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi rendahnya kemampuan menyusun laporan keuangan perusahaan dagang kelas XII SMA 1 Natar. Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa dalam menyusun laporan keuangan perusahaan dagang dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw II dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah dengan pendekatan eksperimen semu. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam menyusun laporan keuangan perusahaan dagang berupa jurnal, buku besar, neraca saldo dan laporan Keuangan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw II lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray. Ada dua hipotesis yang ditolak yaitu hipotesis 4 dan 7 pada materi jurnal penyesuaian dan materi menyusun harga pokok penjualan menunjukan bahwa model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray lebih tinggi dibandingkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw II.Kata kunci: model jigsaw II, model TSTS

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop a Break Picture Simulation Models -Based Value, intended to attract learners in the Citizenship improvement learning; by blending simulation method with picture and picture model that has been modified to break picture. The selected Picture is a Picture Media -based value, so its called Break Picture Simulations model-based value. Research methods using Research and Development (R and D). The development of research product design model, materials and media. The results showed ttest, of significance 5%, by techniques before and after: 20.880; when compared with ttab after the interpolation 2.002, it's seen ttesttab. Comparison with the control class, of significance 5%, indicates ttes 5,971; when compared with ttab after interpolated 2.002, then seen ttesttab. by effectiveness of models is Gain 2.00; or 1, 48 x conventional.Tujuan penelitian ini mengembangkan Model Simulasi Break Picture Berbasis Nilai, dimaksudkan untuk menarik minat siswa dalam peningkatan pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan; dengan memadukan metode simulasi dan model picture and picture yang dimodifikasi menjadi break picture. Media Picture yang dipilih, berbasis Nilai; disebut model Simulasi Break Picture Berbasis Nilai. Metode penelitian menggunakan Research and Development (R and D). Produk penelitian pengembangan ini yaitu model desain, bahan ajar dan media. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Perhitungan ttes, taraf signifikansi 5%, dengan teknik before and after; menunjukkan ttes = 20,880; jika diperbandingkan dengan ttab setelah diinterpolasi 2,002; maka terlihat ttes ttab. Perbandingan dengan Kelas Kontrol, taraf signifikansi 5%, menunjukkan ttes = 5.971; jika diperbandingkan dengan ttab setelah diinterpolasi 2,002; terlihat ttes ttab; dengan efektivitas model yaitu Gain 2,00; atau 1, 48 x Konvensional.Kata kunci: model, pendidikan kewarganegaraan, simulasi break picture

Abstract

The objective of this research was to improve students social skills and teachers performances as research subjects by using integrated model in grade VII students of Public Junior High School 1 in Bengkunat of Pesisir Barat district in academic year of 2013/2014. This was a descriptive qualitative research in the form of action class research. This research was conducted in three cycles. The research results showed the improvements of percentages of social skill assessment criteria outcomes to be 32% of very poor and poor with 68% good criteria percentage in cycle I; 0% very poor criteria, 7% poor criteria, 56% good criteria and 36% very good criteria in cycle II; and improvement of students social skills assessment criteria in cycle III to be 4% poor criteria, 21% good criteria and 75% very good criteria. The integrated model approach through group activity learning was able to improve students social skills especially in the aspects of communication and building team/group social skills.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa dan kinerja guru sebagai subyek penelitian dengan menggunakan model Integrated pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Bengkunat Kabupaten Pesisir Barat Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014. Metode penelitian menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif yang berbentuk Penelitian Tindak Kelas. Penelitian dilakukan dalam tiga siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan persentase perolehan kriteria penilaian keterampilan sosial pada siklus I yaitu sangat kurang dan kurang 32% dan persentase kriteria baik 68%, pada siklus II yaitu kriteria sangat kurang 0%, kriteria kurang 7%, kriteria baik 56% dan kriteria sangat baik 36%. Pada siklus III, peningkatan persentase perolehan kriteria penilaian keterampilan sosial siswa yaitu kriteria kurang 4%, kriteria baik 21% dan 75% siswa memperoleh kriteria penilaian sangat baik. Pendekatan model Integrated melalui aktivitas pembelajaran kelompok dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa pada aspek komunikasi dan membangun tim/kelompok.Kata kunci : keterampilan sosial, model integrated

Abstract

The purposes of this research were describing and analyzing, the application of learning by the use of make a match model to improve the social skills of students and students achievement. The type of this research is classroom research. Components of students social skills in the research include, ability to control himself in the act, talk and behave, abide by the rules applied according to the place where it belongs, understanding the different opinion, able to communicate well, effectively and politely, able to apply togetherness values in a group, understanding the rights of his own as well as from other. The results of the learning implementation make a match models in the Sociology subject can improve social skill and students achievement. It can be seen from the average percentage of social skill and learning achievement studentsin every cycle.Tujuan penelitian ini antara lain:mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis penerapan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model make a match untuk meningkatkan keterampilan sosial dan hasil belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Komponen keterampilan siswa dalam penelitian ini meliputi, mampu mengendalikan diri dalam bersikap, berucap dan berprilaku, mematuhi aturan-aturan yang berlaku sesuai dengan tempat dimana berada, memahami perbedaan pendapat, mampu berkomunikasi dengan baik, efektif dan santun, mampu menerapkan nilai-nilai kebersamaan dalam kelompok, memahami hak dan kewajiban diri dan orang lain. Hasil dari penerapan model pembelajaran make a match pada pelajaran Sosiologi dapat meningkatkan keterampilan sosial dan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari rata-rata persentase keterampilan sosial dan hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dari siklus ke siklus. Abstract

The objectives of this research were to analyze how Move-on media notes could increase students characters. The methodology used in this research was Classroom Action Research. Based on the result of the research, it could be informed as follows: Move-on media notes which contained expectation, inspiration, religious motivation, and also an effort to develop habits by keeping the promise to change behavior that could increase students characters.By using Move-on media notes, the names of good characters could be obtained from habits.The students characters which were more dominantcould be seen from the percentage as follows: religious character was 79%, discipline was 76%, tolleran was 83%, hard workwas 76% andresponsibilitywas 76%. For the character of honesty, it was only 62%. It means that it could not reach the indicatorof achievement, however there was a progress on each cycle.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan bagaimana media catatan Move-on dapat meningkatkan karakter siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Dari penelitian ini hasilnya sebagai berikut: Media catatan Move-on yang didalamnya terdapat catatan impian yang ingin diraih, inspirasi, motivasi religi, juga upaya membangun kebiasaan baik dengan perjanjian perubahan perilaku dapat meningkatkan karakter siswa. Penanaman karakter baik juga dapat diperoleh melalui Habits atau kebiasaan. Dari siklus I karakter siswa belum mencapai indikator. Hingga pada siklus ke-II dan ke-III terjadi peningkatan karakter secara signifikan hingga mencapai indikator keberhasilan yang diharapkan yaitu dari 29 siswa. Karakter dominan dan mulai membudaya yaitu pada karakter religius 79%, disiplin 76%, toleransi 83%, kerja keras 76% dan tanggung jawab 76%. Karakter kejujuran masih belum tercapai yaitu 62% namun dalam setiap siklus sudah nampak perbaikannya.Kata kunci: media catatan move-on, nilai karakter, pkn

Abstract

This research aimed to develop social study learning through Pie Chart and to know the effectiveness of learning through Pie Chart in social study learning. The research method used was Research and Development (RD). The desain of learning development through Pie Chart used the step of Dick and Carey. The research result of this learning development concluded that this research was the development of social study learning through Pie Chart to increase the study result of the student. The study result of posttest in experiment class that used Pie Chart in social studies learning was higher than the control class that used conventional learning.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan pembelajaran IPS terpadu melalui media Pie Chart dan mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran melalui media Pie Chart dalam pembelajaran IPS terpadu. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Develoment (RD). Desain pengembangan pembelajaran melalui media Pie Chart menggunakan langkah-langkah Dick and Carey. Hasil penelitian pengembangan pembelajaran ini menyimpulkan bahwa Penelitian ini adalah pengembangan pembelajaran IPS terpadu melalui media Pie Chart untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil belajar dari kegiatan posttest kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media Pie Chart dalam pembelajaran IPS terpadu lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik kelas kontrol yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional.Kata kunci: media pie chart, pembelajaran ips terpadu, pengembangan

Abstract

This research aimed to improve the lesson plan, the implementation of learning, the students critical thinking skills, and students' understanding of civics through social PBL models. This research was a classroom action research by using three cycles. The subject of research were students in grade X MIA 1 and X MIA 2. The data were collected by observation and tests and analyzed by descriptive analysis. The result of research: 1) the students instructional design was in accordance with the results of the analysis of the needs of the poor critical thinking skills and students understanding of civics, 2) the activity of students in the learning process were the teachers guide students to analyze and evaluate the process of solving the problem, 3) the ability of critical thinking of students was increased in each cycle, and 4) students' understanding of civics has also increased each cycle.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan perencanaan pembelajaran, meningkatkan pelaksanaan pembelajaran, meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa, dan meningkatkan pemahaman PKn siswa melalui model PBM sosial. Penelitian merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas dengan mengunakan tiga siklus. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas X MIA 1 dan X MIA 2. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan tes serta dianalisis secara deskriptif analisis. Hasil penelitian: 1) desain pembelajaran sesuai dengan hasil analisis kebutuhan tentang rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis dan pemahaman PKn siswa, 2) aktivitas siswa dalam proses pembelajaran adalah guru membimbing siswa untuk menganalisis dan mengevaluasi proses pemecahan masalah, 3) kemampuan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa mengalami peningkatan setiap siklusnya, dan 4) pemahaman siswa tentang PKn juga meningkat setiap siklusnya.Kata kunci: keterampilan berpikir kritis, pbm sosial, pkn
