Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine differences in social skills of students whose learning using SAVI learning model and TGT learning model in social studies second semester of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 21 Bandar Lampung in academic year 2016/2017. The method used in this research is a comparative study with the experimental approach. The population in this study is the second semester of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 21 Bandar Lampung. By using cluster random sampling technique derived class VIII C as the experimental class and control class VIII E as the number of 30 students in each class. The results showed that, (1) There are differences social skills among students the learning was using learning model SAVI compared to the learning was using TGT, (2) Social skills students who have interest in learning low the learning was using learning model SAVI lower than with learning was using model TGT learning, (3) Social skills students who have high interest in learning the learning was using SAVI learning model higher compared with learning model using learning was TGT (4) There interaction between model student learning interests against social skills.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan keterampilan sosial siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model pembelajaran SAVI dan model pembelajaran TGT dengan memperhatikan minat belajar pada mata pelajaran IPS siswa kelas VIII semester genap SMP Negeri 21 Bandar Lampung Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Metode penelitian eksperimental semu dengan desain By Level 2x2 Faktorial. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII semester genap SMP Negeri 21 Bandar Lampung. Dengan menggunakan teknik Cluster Random Sampling diperoleh kelas VIII C sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VIII E sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah 30 siswa di masing-masing kelas. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan angket dan lembar observasi. Analisis data menggunakan Rumus Analisis Varians Dua Jalan dan t test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa, (1) Ada perbedaan keterampilan sosial antara siswa yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model pembelajaran SAVI dibandingkan yang pembelajarannya menggunakan TGT, (2) Keterampilan sosial siswa yang memiliki minat belajar rendah yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model pembelajaran SAVI lebih rendah dibanding dengan pembelajarannya menggunakan model pembelajaran TGT, (3) Keterampilan sosial siswa yang memiliki minat belajar tinggi yang pembelajarannya menggunakan model pembelajaran SAVI lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan pembelajarannya menggunakan model pembelajaran TGT (4) Ada interaksi antara model pembelajaran dengan minat belajar siswa terhadap keterampilan sosial.Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran SAVI, Model Pembelajaran TGT, Keterampilan Sosial dan Minat Belajar

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the nationalism spirit of students through intra and extra-curricular activities. This study used a qualitative approach with case study method. Methods of data collection were using interviews, observation and documentation.The results of this study indicated that: Fostering the spirit of nationalism through intra-curricular and extracurricular in SMPN1 Pagelaran, Pringsewu is to integrate the principles contained in nationalism , namely (1) the principles of togetherness, (2) the principle of unity, (3) the principles of democracy. Intracurricular activity in fostering the spirit of nationalism of the students are by using learning methods of Civics by conducting discussions, observation and debriefing and through extracurricular activities which is dominant there were scouts, OSIS and sport to build character and personality to be a good citizens as well as to love the nation and the country through the development of attitudes and manners .Penelitian ini bertujuan, untuk mengetahui pembinaan semangat nasionalisme siswa melalui kegiatan intrakurikuler dan ekstrakurikuler. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan metode case study. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi.Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: Pembinaan semangat nasionalisme melalui kegiatan intrakurikuler dan ekstrakurikuler di SMPN 1 Pagelaran Kabupaten Pringsewuyaitu dengan mengintegrasikan prinsip yang terkandung dalam nasionalisme yaitu (1) prinsip kebersamaan, (2) prinsip persatuan dan kesatuan, (3) prinsip demokrasi. Kegiatan intrakulikuler dalam membina semangat nasionalisme siswa yaitu menggunakan metode pembelajaran PKn dengan melakukan kegiatan diskusi, observasi dan tanya jawab dan melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang dominan yaitu pramuka, OSIS dan olahraga untuk membina watak dan kepribadian menjadi warganegara yang baik serta mencintai bangsa dan negaranya melalui pembinaan sikap dan tatakrama.Kata kunci: kualitatif, pembinaan, semangat nasionalisme

Abstract

The aims of the study were to know and analyze (1) the increasing of the Geography learning result make a match learning model (2) the influence of make a match learning model toward the Geography learning result. The design of this study used pre experiment by using one group pretest-posttest design. The collecting technique of the data used observation and test. The study used independent variable consisted of several steps, they are organizing, make a match, questioning, answering, and evaluating, while dependent variable in this study were pretest and posttest. The result of this study showed that (1) the increasing of the result of student learning from the counting N-gain showed that gain 0,412 on the classification based on Hake was classified as moderate. (2) the result of tcount ttabel is gotten tcount make a match learning model about 6.781 Ttabel and probability (sig) is 0,000 0,05.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis (1) peningkatan hasil belajar Geografi menggunakan model pembelajaran make a match (2) pengaruh model pembelajaran make a match terhadap hasil belajar Geografi. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre eksperimen dengan menggunakan rancangan metode One Group Pretest Posttest Design. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, dan tes. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua variabel yaitu variabel bebas (X) terdiri dari beberapa tahap yaitu organizing, make a match, questioning, answering dan evaluating. Sedangkan variabel terikat (y) adalah soal pretest dan posttest. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dari perhitungan N-gain menunjukkan bahwa gain 0,412 pada klasifikasi menurut Hake menunjukkan klasifikasi sedang. (2) hasil thitung ttabel. Diperoleh thitung model pembelajaran make a match sebesar 6.781 ttabel sebesar 1,986 dan probabilitas (sig.) ternyata 0,000 0,05.Kata kunci: geografi, make a match, model pembelajaran

Abstract

This research aims to increase the participation and civic education learning  achievement at international relationship material  by implementing cooperative learning kancing gemerincing type. It is a kind of classroom action research. The data obtained are in the form of student’s learning process and achievement. The instrument that used are test, learning observation sheet, field notes, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of cooperative learning kancing gemerincing type can increase student’s learning participation and student achievement.  It is proved by seeing the increasing of those percentage in each cycles. In the first cycle the percentage of student’s participation is 55,18% and student’s achievement 52,50%. In the second cycle the percentage of student’s participation  and achievement are increase. The percentage of student’s participation becomes 64,51% and the achievement  65,79%.  In the third cycle the percentage of student’s activity reach 83,33% and the percentage of student’s achievement 77,5%, with the highest score 100 while the lowest 45.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan partisipasi dan prestasi belajar bidang studi PKn khususnya materi hubungan internasional dengan menggunakan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe kancing gemerincing. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Data yang diperoleh adalah berupa partisipasi siswa dan prestasi belajar siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu soal tes, lembar observasi proses pembelajaran, catatan di dalam pembelajaran dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe kancing gemerincing dapat meningkatkan partisipasi belajar dan prestasi belajar siswa. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan rata-rata persentase partisipasi dan prestasi siswa pada siklusnya. Siklus I persentase partisipasi  siswa 55,18% dan persentase prestasi siswa 52,50 %. Siklus II persentase partisipasi  siswa naik menjadi 64,51% dan persentase prestasi siswa 65,79%, dan siklus III terdapat partisipasi siswa sebesar 83,33% dan prestasi siswa 77,5%, dengan nilai tertinggi adalah 100 dan nilai terendah 45.Kata kunci: kancing gemerincing, partisipasi, prestasi

Abstract

The objectives of this research were describing the use of model Snowball Throwing model to improve social skill in studying IPS, and to increase students achievement. The type of research was classroom action research. Data analizing consisted of validation stages, data reduction, data display and data verification. Based on the results of the data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded as follows: (1) learning with picture and picture method can increase student activity. It can be seenfrom the average percentage of students social skill increased by first cycle 69,84 to 76,88% in the second cycle and 81,02 % in the third cycle. (2) Learning by using Snowball Throwing model can increase students achievement. It can be seen from the increase in the percentage of students achievement increased by 74,19 % in the first cycle to 80,65 % in the second cycle, 87,10 in the third cycle.Tujuan dilaksanakannya penelitian ini antara lain: untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan model Snowball Throwing meningkatkan sikap sosial dalam pembelajaran IPS, meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Analisis data meliputi tahapan pemvalidasian, reduksi data, menampilkan data dan verifikasi data. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan diperoleh kesimpulan sebagai berikut: (1) Pembelajaran dengan model Snowball Throwing dapat meningkatkan sikap sosial siswa kelas. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari rata-rata persentase sikapsosial siswa meningkat dari siklus I sebesar 69,84% menjadi 76,88 % pada siklus II dan pada siklus III 81,02. (2) Pembelajaran menggunakan model Snowball Throwing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari peningkatan persentase hasil belajar siswa meningkat dari 74,19 % pada siklus 1 menjadi 80,65 % pada siklus II, 87,10 % pada siklus III.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, model snowball throwing, sikap sosial

Abstract

The research aims to know the relation of education level with fertility, relation of childrens value with fertility and relation of educations level,childrens value and first age marriage with fertility.The method used in the research is survey method. The population in this research are 250 respondents with a total sample of 125 respondents, taken with the random sampling technique. Data collection techniques used were questioners, interviews and observation. To outher using SPSS.The approach of the research is quantitative research with survey method. Data analysis is using multiple correlation with 95% significance. The result of research shows that there is a relation of educations level, childrens value and first age marriage with fertility F count (23,782) F table (2,679), there is a relation of educations level, childrens value and first age marriage with fertilty.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pendidikan dengan jumlah anak lahir hidup, hubungan nilai anak dengan jumlah anak lahir hidup, hubungan usia kawin pertama dengan jumlah anak lahir hidup dan hubungan tingkat pendidikan, nilai anak dan usia kawin pertama dengan jumlah anak lahir hidup. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei. Populasi berjumlah 250 pasangan perkawinan usia muda dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 125 wanita pasangan perkawinan usia muda yang diambil dengan teknik random sampling jenis simple random sampling dengan metode undian. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner, wawancara terstruktur dan observasi.Analisis data menggunakan korelasi ganda dengan signifikansi 95%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif tingkat pendidikan, nilai anak dan usia kawin pertama dengan jumlah anak lahir hidup diperoleh nilai F hitung (23,782) Ftabel (2,679). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif tingkat pendidikan, nilai anak dan usia kawin pertama dengan jumlah anak lahir hidup.Kata kunci: fertilitas, nilai anak, tingkat pendidikan

Abstract

This research is motivated by the upsurge of inter-ethnic tensions in Indonesia relations, the demands of ethnic independence, double nationalism of Papuans, and various activities of Papuan college students who come into contact with leading political and cultural demands for independence. The focuses of myresearch is (1) essential-primordial elements are constructed, (2) the factors that influence the development of Papuan nationalism construction, (3) the construction process Papuan nationalism, and (4) the meaning of nationalism Papua on Papuan college students in Surabaya in the perspective of multiculturalism.To examine these focuses, Iused the theory of constructive nationalism multiculturalism perspective. Following theorists of nationalism constructive thoughts Hobsbawm (1990) with "invented tradition", Anderson (1983) "imagined political community", Gellner (1983; 1987; 1994) "fabrication as true community", and Kedourie (1993) "nationalism as a movement "social entities and social identity as a people (nation) is something that is constructed. These theories used in the perspective of multiculturalism Parekh (2000) that promote cross-cultural dialogue on the basis of cultural diversity, that coexistence is not only principled, but pro-existence. Structuralism theory by de Saussure and post-structural of Barthes and deconstruction of Derrida, and as well as post-colonial Orientalism of  Said (1978) was also used.  As a form of qualitative research with the social definition paradigm, this research uses ethnographic approach (Fetterman, 2010) with the emic-ethic perspective. By taking location in Surabaya, data were collected from 35college students from Papua with observation techniques, in-depth interviews either directly, by phone, or e-mail, focus of group discussion (FGD), and surf the internet, the blogs, facebooks, and twitter are related to their activity.The resulting findings can be summarized as follows. Consciousness as a nation and a stronger Papuan nationalism is constructed on the essential elements of the primordial. This construction is influenced by various factors, namely awareness of students as agents of change, colonization by mass transmigration process, the exploitation of natural resources, marginalization of indigenous Papuans, and the violence and human rights violations. Papuan nationalism construction proceeds through the development of Papuan college student organization that later became the pioneer rejection of government programs, international contacts, and demands for independence. Abstract

The Objective of this research is to analyse the influence of free cash flow, collateral assets, debt to equity ratio and profitability toward dividend policy in manufacture companies that is listed in BEI over period 2009-2011. Sampling technique used here is purposive sampling. The data is obtained based on Indonesian Capital Market Directory and audited financial reports. It is gained sample amount of 188 observations. Data analysis used descriptive statistics, classical asumption test, and multiple liniar regression analysis.  From the analysis result, it indicates that debt to equity ratio and profitability variable partially significant toward dividend policy on the level of significance less than 1 percent, while it indicates that free cash flow and collateral assets variable partially not significant toward dividend policy. While simultaneously free cash flow, collateral assets, debt to equity ratio and profitability proof significantly influent dividend policy in level less than 1 percent. Predictable of four variables toward dividend policy  is 20,4 percent as indicated by adjusted R square that is 20,4percent while the rest 79,6 percent is affected by other factors which are not included into the study model.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of financial distress, debt default, disclosure,  auditor reputation,opinion shopping, and audit lag prior to the granting by the auditor's going concern opinion. Hypothesis (1) Financial distress effect on the provision by the auditor's going concern opinion, (2) Debt default affects the provision of client going concern opinion by the auditor, (3) Disclosure effect on the provision by the auditor's going concern opinion, (4) Auditor’s reputation effect on the provision by the auditor's going concern opinion, (5) Opinion shopping influence on acceptance going-concern audit opinion, (6) Audit Lag influence on acceptance going-concern audit opinion. Population of this research uses 85 manufacturing companies sample listed on Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) between 2006 to 2010. Samples obtained by purposive sampling. Data were analyzed with logistic regression analysis. The results showed that audit lag, the auditor's reputation and debt default the previous year affects the provision by the auditor's going concern opinion. Whereas financial distress, disclosure and  opinion shopping have no effect on the provision by the auditor's going concern opinion.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of ownership structure and corporate performance on dividend policy. Ownership structure used in this study is managerial ownership, while the performance of companies include free cash flow, growth in assets, profitability, and leverage as an independent variable, firm size as a control variable, and dividends per share as the dependent variable. The population in this study are all companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2010-2012. The data that was used in this research was secondary data and selected by using purposive sampling method. Analysis model using multiple linear regression analysis. The sample used in this study were 152 companies. The analysis showed that profitability is positive and significant effect on dividend policy, while managerial ownership, free cash flow, asset growth, and leverage does not significantly affect to dividend policy.
