Abstract

The internship activities of students from the Qur’anic Studies and Tafsir Department at Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara represent a form of community service aimed at providing tangible contributions in accordance with their field of expertise. Although the students do not come from an education major, the interns at SMP Muhammadiyah 05 Medan actively participated in the religious guidance of students. The guidance activities included mentoring in Qur’an learning, Islamic Religious Education (PAI), and tahfidz (Qur’an memorization), as well as training in practical acts of worship such as the procedures for ghusl janabah (ritual purification after major impurity) and the funeral prayer (salat al-janazah). In addition, the interns also organized various Islamic competitions, including short surah recitation contests, Islamic quiz competitions, and the call to prayer (adhan) competition. This study employed a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, where data were obtained through observation, documentation, and direct participation during the internship activities. The results indicate that religious guidance through practical worship training and Islamic competitions can enhance students’ understanding, skills, and enthusiasm in practicing Islamic teachings. Therefore, the student internship program provides a positive contribution in strengthening religious values and the religious character of students at SMP Muhammadiyah 05 Medan.

Abstract

This research focuses on analyzing the risk of drought disasters in Central Lombok Regency for disaster management and mitigation purposes that can be implemented in the future. This disaster risk analysis has been prepared using a methodology adapted to the Regulation of the Head of the National Disaster Management Agency Number 02 of 2012 concerning General Guidelines for Disaster Risk Analysis, as well as referring to other guidelines applicable at national level ministries/institutions. From the results of the drought disaster risk analysis that has been carried out, it can be concluded that most of the Central Lombok district is in the Red Zone against the threat of drought, especially in the eastern, central, city, western and southern regions, only a few areas in the northern part of Central Lombok which is in the Green Zone. The results of this research show that the highest risk of drought disaster is in Pujut District which has the largest land area in the red zone, namely 18,832 Ha of land or the equivalent of 81.88% of its entire area. This makes Pujut sub-district the area that experiences the most drought disasters.

Abstract

Bunda Thamrin General Hospital, Medan, is a type C private hospital that offers various types of care, including dental care. In the digital era, the Mobile JKN application was introduced to simplify the registration and patient care process. However, many patients still experience difficulties using it. This study aims to analyze the comparison of patient satisfaction levels between the Mobile JKN application and the on-site service at Bunda Thamrin General Hospital, Medan, using the SERVQUAL approach, which encompasses five dimensions: Tangibles, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Empathy.This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method and purposive sampling technique. The sample consisted of 56 respondents, namely BPJS dental care patients who registered through Mobile JKN and on-site. Data analysis was performed using a bivariate statistical test, with a significance value of p < 0.05 as an indicator of significant differences between services.The results showed that overall satisfaction levels were higher among users of the Mobile JKN service (mean = 0.70) compared to users of the on-site service (mean = 0.14) with a p = 0.000. The dimensions of Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, and Empathy showed significant differences favoring Mobile JKN. However, no significant difference was found in the Tangibles aspect (p = 0.173), indicating that ease of access remains a challenge for both services.It can be concluded that Mobile JKN provides a more satisfactory service overall than On-Site, particularly in terms of trustworthiness, response speed, security, and empathy for patients.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe thematic webbed based scientific modeling learning for the acquisition of high-level thinking ability of elementary school children. A qualitative approach to the subject of the child, and the teacher of 14 elementary schools in East Pontianak. The result of the application of thematic learning webbed based model of scientific, children feel happy and have higher-order thinking ability although not 100% children. Results of ability, to analyze 39.66%, evaluate 34.65, and create 43.14%. Thematic-based webbed-based learning model is good because most children have high-order thinking skills in the form of analyzing, evaluating, creating, and being able to think scientifically to avoid memorizing and remembering. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pembelajaran tematik model webbed berbasis saintifik untuk perolehan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi anak Sekolah Dasar. Pendekatan kualitiatif dengan subjek anak, dan guru SD 14 Pontianak Timur. Hasil penerapan pembelajaran tematik model webbed berbasis saintifik, anak merasa senang dan mempunyai kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi walaupun belum 100% anak. Hasil kemampuan menganalisis 39,66%, mengevaluasi 34,65, dan berkreasi 43,14%. Pembelajaran tematik model webbed berbasis saintifik adalah baik karena sebagian besar anak mempunyai kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi berupa menganalisis, mengevaluasi, berkreasi/mencipta, dan dapat berpikir secara saintifik untuk menghindari pola pikir menghafal dan mengingat.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of value education in Civic and Pancasila Education learning in the digital era within the context of SMA Negeri 3 Berau. Digital transformation has changed students’ learning patterns, social interactions, and ways of understanding civic realities. However, this development also presents several challenges, such as weak digital communication ethics, the spread of unverified information, plagiarism, and declining academic responsibility. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design. The data were collected through semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, and analysis of school documents. The research informants consisted of the vice principal for curriculum affairs, Civic Education teachers, guidance and counseling teachers, student council representatives, and students. The findings show that value education in Civic Education functions as a digital moral compass for students. The internalized values include digital responsibility, academic honesty, communication ethics, critical awareness of hoaxes, cooperation, discipline, democratic tolerance, religiosity, and integrity. The learning strategies implemented include digital case analysis based on Pancasila values, ethical dialogue, digital citizenship projects, and reflective habituation. This study concludes that value education in Civic Education not only strengthens students’ civic understanding but also shapes their character so that they are able to use technology critically, politely, responsibly, and in accordance with Pancasila values.

Abstract

Moral degradation and disobedience to rules in the era of digital disruption are the urgency of this article. This article aims to analyze the synergy mechanisms between families, schools, and communities in strengthening values ​​education. Using a qualitative-analytical literature study method, this study examines literature related to Bronfenbrenner's Ecological Theory and Joyce Epstein's partnership model. The findings indicate that building internal compliance requires coherence between the family's authoritative parenting style, the school's hidden curriculum, and community social capital. This study concludes that revitalizing the Tripartite Education concept through collaboration is necessary to address value dissonance in students. However, the study's limitations lie in the obstacles to generalizing implementation due to parents' lack of digital literacy and teachers' pedagogical readiness. Therefore, strengthening stakeholder capacity and transforming schools as integrators of the character education ecosystem is necessary.

Abstract

Kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) di Desa Lingkok, Kecamatan Titeu, Kabupaten Pidie, bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas sosial, pendidikan, dan kepedulian lingkungan masyarakat desa melalui pendekatan partisipatif. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi masyarakat meliputi perbedaan pendapat dalam pengambilan keputusan bersama, keterbatasan akses pendidikan, serta rendahnya kesadaran terhadap kebersihan dan kelestarian lingkungan. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi observasi lapangan, diskusi kelompok, pelatihan, pendampingan, dan aksi sosial secara langsung. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat, tumbuhnya kesadaran akan pentingnya pendidikan dan lingkungan, serta terbangunnya hubungan sosial yang lebih harmonis antara mahasiswa dan masyarakat. Program KKN ini memberikan dampak positif secara sosial dan edukatif serta dapat menjadi model kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berbasis kebutuhan lokal.
