Abstract

The Effect of Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFE) Model with Concept Map Media on Speaking Skills of Students at State Elementary School 09 West Pontianak. Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Education Study Program Madrasah Ibtidaiyah State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Pontianak. 2024. This study was motivated by the lack of speaking skills of students when performing in front of the class. The speaking skills of students here are still quite lacking and must continue to practice continuously. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using the student facilitator and explaining (sfe) model with concept map media on the speaking skills of fourth grade students at SDN 09 West Pontianak. To achieve these objectives, researchers used experimental research methods using Trueexperimental quantitative approach. The population in this study were all students of class 4C and 4D which amounted to 50 people. Then sampling was carried out using saturated sample technique so that the samples used were class 4C as a control class totaling 25 students and 4D as an experimental class totaling 25 students. Data collection tools in the form of storytelling essay test questions to test the speaking skills of students before and after applying the student facilitator and explaining (sfe) learning model with media map concept. The results showed: (1) The speaking skills of grade IV students of SDN 09 West Pontianak before applying the student facilitator and explaining (sfe) learning model with concept map media get an average score of 67.4 in the moderate category. (2) The speaking skills of grade IV students of SDN 09 West Pontianak after using the student facilitator and explaining (sfe) learning model with concept map media get an average score of 85.4 in the high category. (3) There is a significant effect of 0.200 from the use of student facilitator and explaining (sfe) learning model with concept map media on the speaking skills of grade IV students of SDN 09 West Pontianak. (4) There is an influence between the student facilitator and explaining (sfe) learning model with concept map media on the speaking skills of class IV students of SDN 09 West Pontianak with a value of 0.8 in the high category.

Abstract

Background: Childbirth often causes perineal tears (perineal rupture) which can cause bleeding, where perineal tears are caused by rupture of the tissue of the birth canal. One way to prevent perineal rupture is to strengthen and maintain the elasticity of the perineum through pregnancy exercises. Objective: This study aims to determine the optimization of providing exercise education for pregnant women regarding knowledge of perineal rupture incidents in health crisis situations at the Antang Perumnas Community Health Center. Research design: used in this research is observational analytics using quantitative data using a cross sectional approach which aims to determine the effect of providing pregnancy exercise education on knowledge of perineal rupture incidents at the Antang Perumnas Community Health Center. Research results: This shows that the p-value of the influence of pregnancy exercise education on the level of knowledge of perineal rupture in crisis situations is 0.000. Because p<0.05, Ha is accepted. H0 is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of pregnancy exercise education on the level of knowledge of perineal rupture in health crisis situations at the Antang Perumnas Health Center in 2024.

Abstract

In contemporary urban settings, mosques are increasingly expected to fulfill not only religious functions but also to serve as centers for community development and social integration. However, challenges in governance and inclusivity often hinder this potential. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Jumat Berkah (Blessed Friday) program at Darul Falah Mosque, Makassar, as a participatory model for revitalizing the social role of urban mosques. A qualitative case study approach was employed, involving participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis to investigate the program's implementation, management practices, and community engagement. The program successfully engaged diverse community groups, including marginalized residents and youth, while reinforcing the mosque’s role as a socially responsive institution. Transparent governance mechanisms, consistent volunteer involvement, and effective use of digital tools were found to be key to the program’s continuity and community trust. The study demonstrates that mosque-based participatory programs can address challenges of urban social fragmentation and disengagement. The novelty of this research lies in its integration of structural functionalism theory with empirical insights from mosque-led community practices, offering a replicable model for faith-based urban social development. This study contributes to both academic and practical domains. Theoretically, it enriches the discourse on mosque-based social institutions within the framework of structural functionalism. Practically, it provides a participatory model for faith-based urban social development that can be replicated by other mosques seeking to strengthen community engagement and resilience.

Abstract

 Picking the wrong learning model can obstruct the growth of students' competencies. This research seeks to evaluate the efficacy of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model when integrated with the STEAM approach to boost science process skills, creative thinking, and critical thinking among high school students during biology lessons. Employing a quasi experiment with a quantitative method, the study included 65 tenth-grade students from SMA Negeri 9 Makassar, separated into an experimental group (PjBL-STEAM) and a control group (PjBL). Data collection utilized observation forms and written assessments, followed by analysis through N-Gain tests and inferential statistics. Findings indicated that the STEAM-combined PjBL model managed to enhance creative thinking abilities (N-Gain 0.52) and critical thinking (N-Gain 0.50) at a moderate level, although it fell short in sufficiently promoting science process skills, which remained in the good range. Abstract

ABSTRAK Salah satu komplikasi yang paling berbahaya yang dapat terjadi selama kehamilan adalah preeklamsia, yang merupakan penyebab utama morbiditas dan mortalitas ibu dan janin, terutama di negara-negara berkembang. Setelah usia kehamilan dua puluh minggu, kondisi ini ditandai dengan hipertensi (tekanan darah tinggi) dan proteinuria (protein dalam urin). Salah satu alat inovatif, Kartu Dhiana Styorini Skore (KSDS), dibuat untuk membantu petugas kesehatan mengevaluasi risiko preeklamsia secara sistematis dan akurat. Dengan menggunakan Aplikasi Kartu Dhiana Styorini Skore, pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang preeklamsia dan pendampingan deteksi dini. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penggunaan Aplikasi Kartu Dhiana Styorini Skore (KSDS) dan pemberian pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada kader mengenai kondisi preeklamsia ibu hamil. Ada sepuluh kader yang berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan tersebut. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa kader lebih memahami preeklamsia. Dengan demikian, 70% kader tidak memiliki pengetahuan yang cukup sebelum pelatihan, tetapi setelah pelatihan sepenuhnya, kader memiliki pengetahuan yang cukup. Selain itu, kemampuan kader untuk menggunakan aplikasi KSDS juga meningkat. Sebelum pelatihan, tidak ada peserta yang bisa menggunakan 0%, tetapi setelah pelatihan, semua peserta sudah bisa menggunakan 100%. Tenaga kesehatan dapat mendeteksi ibu hamil secara dini, terutama preeklamsia, dengan adanya edukasi dan pendampingan kepada kader. Kata Kunci: Preeklamsia, Kader, KSDS.  ABSTRACT One of the most dangerous complications that can occur during pregnancy is preeclampsia, which is a leading cause of maternal and fetal morbidity and mortality, especially in developing countries. After twenty weeks of gestation, this condition is characterized by hypertension (high blood pressure) and proteinuria (protein in the urine). One innovative tool, the Dhiana Styorini Skore Card (KSDS), was created to help healthcare workers systematically and accurately evaluate the risk of preeclampsia. By using the Dhiana Styorini Skore Card Application, this service aims to increase knowledge about pre-eclampsia and early detection support. The methods used include using the Dhiana Styorini Skore Card Application (KSDS) and providing training and support to cadres regarding pre-eclampsia in pregnant women. There were ten cadres who participated in the activity. The results of the service show that the cadres understand preeclampsia better. Thus, 70% of the cadres did not have sufficient knowledge before the training, but after the training was complete, the cadres had sufficient knowledge. Additionally, the ability of the cadres to use the KSDS application has also increased. Before the training, no participants could use 0%, but after the training, all participants could use 100%. Healthcare workers can detect pregnant women early, especially for preeclampsia, with education and support provided to community health volunteers.Keywords: Preeclampsia, Cadres, KSDS.
