Abstract

The aims of this study were 1) to find out whether the big book media is suitable for fractional material for class II MI students in Rembang Regency. 2) to find out whether or not the ledger of fraction material in class II MI Rembang Regency can be implemented. 3) To find out how well the fractional data of class II MI students in Rembang Regency is processed using ledger media. This research strategy uses experimental product testing in conjunction with quantitative R&D methods. gather information from tests, especially protests and pretests. The steps taken in this study are as follows: 1) Issues and possibilities; 2) Obtain data; and 3) Product design. 4) Perform expert product evaluations. 5) Make the product better or change it. 6) Field tests and 7) Preparation of reports Data analysis using descriptive analysis. Results of analysis and research results (a) Big book media made of fractional material meets the requirements for use (c) This shows that the experimental group using bigbook media was more successful than the control group in improving learning outcomes in fractional material.

Abstract

Berpikir kritis adalah suatu komponen dari berpikir tingkat tinggi yang sangat penting untuk dipelajari siswa. Kemampuan berpikir kritis dapat membantu siswa untuk mengingat materi pembelajaran yang sudah dan akan dipelajari. Dengan dikembangkannya kemampuan berpikir kritis maka siswa akan terbiasa menganalisis, mengidentifikasi suatu permasalahan kemudian mengaitkannya dengan yang lain dan mengevaluasi sebelum diambil suatu kesimpulan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang dilaksanakan di SMA N 1 Gebog. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPS 2 dipilih menjadi subjek penelitian sebanyak 6 siswa berdasarkan adversity quotient dengan kategori quitter ,camper ,dan climber dengan menggunakan angket ARP. Pengumpulan data dari angket, tes kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis pada materi barisan dan deret aritmatika, dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu reduksi data . Kemudian penyajian data, Setelah itu mencocokkan data wawancara dan hasil tes menggunakan triangulasi dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh deskripsi kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa quitter, camper dan climber adalah sebagai berikut. (1) Siswa dengan AQ quitter memenuhi indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis yaitu interpretasi, dan (2) Siswa dengan AQ camper memenuhi indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis yaitu interpretasi, dan inferensi, dan (3) Siswa dengan AQ climber memenuhi indikator interpretasi, analisis, evaluasi, dan inferensi.

Abstract

This study aims to explain in detail how the objective conditions of motivation experienced by students in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a qualitative approach with the observation method. The research was conducted at SDN 01 Buantan Lestari, Bungaraya Subdistrict, Siak Regency, involving 24 students of grade 6 C. The data collection techniques in this study used observation sheets. The data analysis technique used in this study is to calculate the percentage of data from each indicator, then interpret the data presentation score and analyze each indicator in depth. The results of this study indicate that the student's learning motivation is obtained from the percentage score of the motivation which amounts to. This research is expected to be an evaluation of various parties in organizing online learning at SDN 01 Buantan Lestari, especially those involving motivation in it, this research is also expected to be research material for other researchers in analyzing and developing student learning motivation in online learning during emergencies in elementary schools

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the mathematical communication skills of students who have multiple types of anxiety, namely mood and motor types. This research was conducted using qualitative methods with the type of case study research. The research was conducted in class VI of Al-Hikmah Mayong Integrated Islamic elementary school in the 2022/2023 academic year. The instrument used is a non-test instrument in the form of interviews and documentation. Interviews were used to group students into 4 types of anxiety, namely mood, motoric, cognitive, and somatic. While the documentation used is the results of students' answers regarding mathematical communication tests, test questions are used to measure their mathematical communication. The technique used in the selection of informants is purposive sampling. The subjects used in this study were 2 students, this was because students had multiple types of mathematical anxiety, namely mood and motor types and other considerations. The data analysis used is 1) the data collection stage; 2) the data selection stage; 3) the data processing stage; 4) the data presentation stage, and; 5) the stage of conclusion. The results showed that students who had a dual type of mathematical anxiety in the mood and motoric types were unable to write text, were unable to draw, and were unable to use symbolic language. This is because students feel trembling and their hearts are pounding during mathematics learning, but students can communicate verbally well mathematically.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa menggunakan model Problem Based Learning berbasis STEAM berbantuan media MONKABICO. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif bentuk quasy eksperimental dengan pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah 108 siswa kelas V Se-gugus Ismoyo, Kecamatan Jati, Kabupaten Kudus. Sampel penelitian adalah 61 siswa kelas V terdiri SD 1 Loram Kulon dan SD 1 Getas Pejaten tahun ajaran 2022/2023 dengan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknis tes berupa soal essay pretest-posttest kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis penelitian (N-gain score dan uji-t). Hasil menunjukkan N-gain score kelas eksperimen 0,54 (kategori sedang) dan N-gain score kelas kontrol 0,38 (kategori sedang). Hal ini juga pengujian oleh uji-t dilakukan pada taraf signifikansi 5% diperoleh 0,000 ≤ 0,05, maka H0 ditolak. Berdasarkan hasil analisis menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa antara kelompok siswa yang menggunakan model Problem Based Learning berbasis STEAM berbantuan media MONKABICO dengan kelompok siswa yang menggunakan model Problem Based Learning tanpa media.

Abstract

The background of this research is the limited learning resources used by students in learning. The efforts made to overcome this problem through developing learning resources in the form of e-module emblems based on the Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) approach. This research aims to determine the feasibility and response of students on the emblem e-module based on the RME approach of fraction material at class V elementary schools. The research method used is Research and Development according to Borg and Gall which has been modified into 7 stages. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 3 Adiwarno. The research subjects involved in this research were fifth grade elementary school teachers and students, media experts and material experts. The research instruments used were interviews, documentation and e-module quality questionnaires to see the feasibility of the e-module being developed. Based on the results of the validation test analysis, an average of 92.78% was obtained, consisting of a media expert assessment of 93.23% and a material expert assessment of 92.34%. Also supported by the calculation of the student response questionnaire after using the e-module was 90.47% achieved the very good category. Thus, it can be concluded that the RME-based emblem e-module development product is very feasible and very good to be used as a learning resource in assisting the learning activities of Mathematics fractions for fifth grade elementary school students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi banyaknya siswa yang belum mempunyai keseimbangan antara kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan minat belajarnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui “Profil Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa ditinjau dari Minat Belajar” kelas VIII D MTs Ma’ahid Kudus. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deksriptif yang dilaksanakan di kelas VIII D MTs Ma’ahid Kudus dengan subjek penelitian berjumlah 24 siswa. Subjek penelitian ini dipilih berdasarkan minat belajar siswa yang telah dikelompokkan menjadi 3 kategori, yaitu tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis ini dikelompokkan menjadi 3 kategori yaitu tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Pengumpulan data diambil melalui tes kemampuan berpikir kritis dan pengisian angket minat belajar. Analisis data dimulai dengan memahami seluruh data kemudian dikelola dengan berbagai sumber, yaitu hasil tes tertulis kemampuan berpikir kritis dan lembar angket. Hasil penelitian ini akan memberikan wawasan tentang hubungan antara minat belajar siswa dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, serta memperkaya pemahaman mengenai faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi perkembangan kemampuan berpikir kritis di tingkat pendidikan menengah pertama. Jika ditelaah kembali menurut tahapan Polya maka subjek yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis tinggi memenuhi semua urutan dalam menyelesaikan masalah yaitu memahami masalah, membuat rencana untuk menyelesaikan masalah, melaksanakan rencana tersebut, dan yang terakhir mengecek ulang hasil yang sudah didapatkan, sedangkan yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis sedang memenuhi tiga urutan dalam menyelesaikan masalah yaitu memahami masalah, membuat rencana untuk menyelesaikan masalah dan melaksanakan rencana tersebut dan untuk subjek yang memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis rendah hanya memenuhi satu urutan dalam menyelesaikan masalah yaitu memahami masalah.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis perbedaan efektivitas model guided inquiry learning dengan model blended learning terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis pada siswa kelas V Kecamatan Godong Kabupaten Grobogan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode quasi eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Bentuk desain eksperimen ini yaitu posttest only control group desaign. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SDN 1 Harjowinangun, SDN 2 Harjowinangun dan SDN 2 Manggarmas di Kecamatan Godong Kabupaten Grobogan.. Analisis data yang digunakan meliputi uji prasyarat analisis yang terdiri dari uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t. Data pengujian tersebut diolah dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 22. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa  tidak terdapat perbedaan efektivitas antara model guided inqury learning  dengan model blended learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas V di Kecamatan Godong Kabupaten Grobogan. Hal ini terbukti dengan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,533.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the learning media product specifications based on Video Scribe Whiteboard Animation in terms of effectiveness, efficiency, and product attractiveness for the tutors and students. The applied method was testing the distinguishing power with the non-primary school education students of the Opened University at UPBJJ Semarang, exactly in Pati Learning Group by using the applied media for the students who took the scientific article writing course. They were explored with questionnaire. The applied data analysis was distinguishing power with stratified experimental test for the students and the field test for the non-primary education students. The results showed the product specification development was valid. It was indicated by all indicators that provided valid and reliable criteria. Secondly, the applied media was effective based on the obtained percentage, 80%. It showed most students understood the video materials and they understood the content from the media. This result was found both in pretest and posttest groups. Third, there was the influence of Video Scribe Whiteboard Animation-based learning media toward the scientific article writing material understanding. The research limitations were such as the difficulties to control the respondents while filling the questionnaire. It was because the questionnaire was filled simultaneously by the students so the results would have bias risks.

Abstract

The low mathematics learning outcomes of class VI students at SD 3 Purwosari is due to the fact that learning is still teacher-centered and has not utilized learning media so that effective and appropriate solutions and innovations are needed so that mathematics learning achieves the expected learning objectives. One of the innovations that can be applied to learning mathematics is the use of KAHI  media. The aims of this study were 1) to examine the differences before and after applying KAHI media to students' mathematics learning outcomes, 2) to find out the increase in students' mathematics learning outcomes before and after applying KAHI Media. This research is a quantitative research type of pre-experimental design using one group pretest-posttest. The hypothesis test used is the Paired Sample t Test and the N-Gain test. The results of the Paired Sample t Test obtained a significance value of 0.000<0.05 indicating that there was a significant difference between learning before and after applying the KAHI media. The results of the N-Gain test obtained 45% results in the medium category, so it can be concluded that the use of KAHI media is effective for the mathematics learning outcomes of grade VI elementary school students.
