Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using mind mapping on fi'il learning at MA Al-Khairiyah. It employs a quantitative approach with an experimental method using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consists of 30 tenth-grade students from MA Al-Khairiyah. This design does not require a control and experimental class; instead, it involves a single class that undergoes a pretest, treatment, and posttest. Before the treatment, students were given 10 questions as a pretest. In the next session, learning was conducted using mind mapping, after which students' comprehension was assessed through a posttest. The posttest results were then compared to the pretest results to determine whether there was an improvement or decline. The data collection techniques used in this research include observation, interviews, and tests. The findings prove that fi'il learning using mind mapping has a significant effect, as evident in the improvement of students' learning outcomes. This is supported by the pretest score of 46.6 and the posttest score of 83.3. Furthermore, the t-test results show that the calculated t value (10.58) is greater than the critical t value (1.699), indicating that H₀ is rejected and Hₐ is accepted. Therefore, that mind mapping has a positive impact on fi'il learning

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of repition as a linguistic style in the Mahallul Qiyam text, found un the book Mil’u al-Awani fi Tahqiq al Mawlid ad- Diba’I, which comprise 40 stanzas. The research focuses on identifying and classifying types of repetition based on a stylistic framework develop by Gorys Keraf. A descriptive-qualitative method is employed, with the primary data consisting of stanzas from Mahallul Qiyam, analyzed textually. The findings reveal that six out of the eight types of repetition identified by Gorys Keraf are present in the Mahallul Qiyam text: anaphora, epistrophe, mesodiplosis, tautotes, anadiplosis, and symploce. Among these, anaphora emerges as the most frequently used style. The repetition not only enhances the rhetorical strength of the text but also contributes to its aesthetic and spiritual resonance, which is characteristic of the Maulid recitation tradition. This research contributes to the field of stylistics, particularly in the analysis of religious texts, by examining the rhetorical and spiritual functions of repetition through the lens of Gorys Keraf’s theory

Abstract

The lack of students’ interest in reading Arabic texts is often caused by the use of conventional teaching models, such as the lecture method, which tends to be monotonous and hampers comprehension. In addition, some students still struggle with reading Arabic texts, preventing them from achieving the learning objectives effectively. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Think, Pair, and Share learning model in improving students' Arabic reading skills. This research employs a quantitative method with an experimental approach using the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research subjects consisted of 38 fifth-grade students, divided into an experimental group (19 students) and a control group (19 students). Data collection techniques included tests, interviews, and observations, while data analysis was conducted using the Shapiro-Wilk test, homogeneity test, independent sample T-test, and N-Gain test. The results indicate that the Think, Pair, and Share model, assisted by PowerPoint, is effective in enhancing Arabic reading skills. The post-test average score of the experimental group reached 80, higher than the control group, which scored 74.73. The independent sample T-test results showed a sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.004 (< 0.05), indicating a significant difference between the two groups. Additionally, the N-Gain test result of 0.4 demonstrates that the effectiveness of the learning model falls within the moderate category. Thus, the Think, Pair, and Share model is proven to have a positive impact on improving students' Arabic reading skills.

Abstract

In the 21st century, skills required higher order thinking skills (HOTS). Therefore the test questions developed are directed towards HOTS based. The purpose of this study was to find a HOTS-based Arabic question model in the national level Arabic questions that could be used as a reference for teachers in developing good and appropriate HOTS-based questions and inspirational. The research approach used in this study is a qualitative and quantitative type of research (R&D) research approach. Researchers reveal models of HOTS-based Arabic questions that are in accordance with scientific and modern developments with discussions with Arabic assessment experts, visiting several schools that teach Arabic as a preferred foreign language, discussions with Arabic teachers, interviewing question development officials, and checking national Arabic questions, then discussions with Arabic experts and teachers.  The Arabic HOTS question is still understood differently by Arabic teachers and there are still many Arabic questions that have not been categorized as HOTS. Therefore, Arabic teachers need to be given training in developing Arabic HOTS questions but who focus on Arabic questions. So far, the question training is still combined with other materials with speakers who are not experts in developing Arabic questions.

Abstract

Global educational collaboration has become a cornerstone for improving academic standards across disciplines, including Arabic language teaching in postgraduate studies. This study examines the role of international university partnerships in elevating curriculum standards, teaching methodologies, and graduate outcomes within Arabic language education programs. Using a  qualitative approach with case study design to understand the effect of international cooperation in improving the curriculum standards of Master of Arabic Education (MPBA) at UIN Jakarta. Data were collected from interviews with academic leaders, surveys of postgraduate students, and analysis of institutional documents across three universities actively engaged in global collaborations. The findings reveal that partnerships facilitate the exchange of innovative pedagogical practices, alignment with international language competency frameworks, and the introduction of cutting-edge educational technologies. These collaborations also enhance faculty capacity through joint research and professional development programs, leading to a more robust curriculum that meets global academic standards. However, challenges such as cultural differences, resource disparities, and administrative hurdles are noted, requiring strategic policy interventions. This research highlights the transformative potential of international collaboration in modernizing Arabic language postgraduate programs and underscores its significance in preparing graduates for competitive global markets.

Abstract

This study examined the development and implementation of a competency-based Arabic curriculum in Indonesian madrasahs and its implications for students’ learning independence. Employing a qualitative case study design complemented by a descriptive student survey, data were collected through interviews with teachers and principals, classroom observations, and student responses. The findings demonstrated that the curriculum significantly enhanced students’ motivation, enjoyment, and comprehension of Arabic, with 85% reporting greater motivation, 80% increased enjoyment, and 75% improved understanding. Teachers and principals affirmed that the competency-based approach facilitated the design of more relevant materials, clearer assessments, and adaptive teaching strategies, while observations revealed more dynamic student engagement and collaborative learning. Integrating the principles of Merdeka Belajar, the curriculum promoted learner autonomy and contextualized language use, though challenges remained in addressing diverse learning styles and teacher readiness. The study highlighted the novelty of explicitly linking linguistic proficiency with critical thinking, cultural literacy, and real-world application within a faith-based educational context. These insights not only enrich discussions on competency-based education in Islamic schools but also provide a practical model adaptable to other Muslim-majority countries and multilingual environments.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the impact of the Quizizz platform on enhancing classroom participation in Mufradat learning. The focus of this research is on the issue of low student participation in Mufradat learning at MI Al-Mursyidiyah Pamulang, which is often perceived as boring and uninteresting. This study employs a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental method using a one-group pretest-posttest design. Data were collected through observation, documentation and classroom participation questionnaires. The research subjects consisted of 32 students from class six B of MI Al-Mursyidiyah. Data analysis was conducted using the "t-test" formula to evaluate the effect of the Quizizz platform on improving classroom participation in Mufradat learning. The t-test results showed a  value of 18.797 with a degree of freedom (df) of 31, while the  values were 2.0395 at a 5% significance level and 2.744 at a 1% significance level. These results indicate thatis greater than  at5% and 1% significance levels, with a P-value < 0.001. Therefore, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, meaning that the use of the Quizizz platform has a significant impact on improving classroom participation in Mufradat learning.

Abstract

ملخص: فتح دمج الذكاء الاصطناعي (الذكاء الاصطناعي) في تعليم اللغة العربية آفاقا جديدة في طرق التعلم، مما يوفر تخصيصا وكفاءة وإمكانية وصول غير مسبوقة. ومع ذلك، لا يزال اعتماد الذكاء الاصطناعي في هذا المجال يواجه تحديات كبيرة، بما في ذلك استعداد المستخدم، والفعالية التربوية، والفجوات بين توقعات وحقائق تنفيذ التكنولوجيا. تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى دراسة مستوى تبني الذكاء الاصطناعي في تعلم اللغة العربية، وتوقعات المستخدمين من هذه التقنية، والآثار التربوية التي تسببها. استخدمت هذه الدراسة نهجا مختلطا مع استطلاعات كمية للطلاب والمحاضرين في العديد من مؤسسات التعليم العالي والمقابلات المتعمقة لاكتساب رؤى نوعية حول تجربة المستخدم. تم إجراء تحليل البيانات باستخدام الإحصاءات الوصفية والتحليل المواضيعي لتحديد أنماط الاستخدام والفوائد الرئيسية والعقبات التي تواجه تنفيذ الذكاء الاصطناعي. تكشف النتائج الرئيسية أن الذكاء الاصطناعي قد حسن كفاءة التعلم والوصول إلى الموارد الرقمية، ولكن لا يزال لديه قيود في جوانب التفاعل البشري وفهم السياقات اللغوية المعقدة. تؤكد استنتاج هذه الدراسة أن تحسين الذكاء الاصطناعي في تعليم اللغة العربية يتطلب نهجا تربويا أكثر تكيفا بالإضافة إلى زيادة محو الأمية الرقمية بين المستخدمين. تساهم الدراسة من خلال تقديم رؤى متعمقة حول العوامل المؤثرة في اعتماد الذكاء الاصطناعي بالإضافة إلى تقديم توصيات استراتيجية لمطوري التكنولوجيا والمعلمين لإنشاء نظام بيئي تعليمي قائم على الذكاء الاصطناعي أكثر ابتكارا وشمولية. الكلمات المفتاحية: التبني، الذكاء الاصطناعي، الفعالية، تعلم اللغة، علم أصول التدريس. Abstracts: The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in Arabic language education has opened up new horizons in learning methods, offering unprecedented personalization, efficiency, and accessibility. However, the adoption of AI in this realm still faces major challenges, including user readiness, pedagogical effectiveness, and gaps between expectations and realities of technology implementation. This study aims to examine the level of adoption of AI in Arabic language learning, user expectations of this technology, and the pedagogical implications it causes. This study used a mixed-method approach with quantitative surveys of students and lecturers at several higher education institutions and in-depth interviews to gain qualitative insights into user experience. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics and thematic analysis to identify usage patterns, key benefits, and obstacles faced in AI implementation. Key findings reveal that AI has improved learning efficiency and access to digital resources, but still has limitations in aspects of human interaction and understanding complex language contexts. The conclusion of this study confirms that the optimization of AI in Arabic language education requires a more adaptive pedagogical approach as well as an increase in digital literacy among users. The study contributes by offering in-depth insights into the factors influencing AI adoption as well as providing strategic recommendations for technology developers and educators to create a more innovative and inclusive AI-based learning ecosystem. Keywords: Adoption, Artificial Intelligence, Effectiveness, Language Learning, Pedagogy Abstrak: Integrasi kecerdasan buatan (AI) dalam pendidikan bahasa Arab telah membuka cakrawala baru dalam metode pembelajaran, menawarkan personalisasi, efisiensi, dan aksesibilitas yang belum pernah ada sebelumnya. Namun, adopsi AI dalam ranah ini masih menghadapi tantangan besar, termasuk kesiapan pengguna, efektivitas pedagogis, serta kesenjangan antara ekspektasi dan realitas implementasi teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tingkat adopsi AI dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab, harapan pengguna terhadap teknologi ini, serta implikasi pedagogis yang ditimbulkannya. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan mixed-method dengan survei kuantitatif terhadap mahasiswa dan dosen di beberapa institusi pendidikan tinggi serta wawancara mendalam untuk memperoleh wawasan kualitatif mengenai pengalaman pengguna. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan analisis tematik guna mengidentifikasi pola penggunaan, manfaat utama, serta hambatan yang dihadapi dalam implementasi AI. Temuan utama mengungkapkan bahwa AI telah meningkatkan efisiensi pembelajaran dan akses terhadap sumber daya digital, tetapi masih mengalami keterbatasan dalam aspek interaksi manusiawi dan pemahaman konteks bahasa yang kompleks. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa optimalisasi AI dalam pendidikan bahasa Arab memerlukan pendekatan pedagogis yang lebih adaptif serta peningkatan literasi digital di kalangan pengguna. Studi ini berkontribusi dengan menawarkan wawasan mendalam tentang faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi adopsi AI serta memberikan rekomendasi strategis bagi pengembang teknologi dan pendidik guna menciptakan ekosistem pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif dan inklusif berbasis AI. Abstract

This paper aims to describe the application of the Gibbs reflection cycle in measurement and assessment. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The data was collected through interviews and analyzed with the Miles, Huberman and Saldana models. The results of this study show that the Gibbs reflection cycle can be used in measurement and assessment with the same stages, namely description, feelings, evaluation, analysis, conclusion/synthesis, and action plan.

Abstract

This study aimed to reveal the use of Educandy application in teaching vocabulary and analyze the effectiveness of using the application. Researchers used a experimental method with quasi-experimental research. The population is all ten grade students in Senior Islamic High School in Sorong. The students of ten grade E-3 and E-2 as the sample of the research were chosen for the experimental class and the control class. Data collection technique used in this research is test; pre-test and post-test. This study adopted T-test analysis to analyze the effectiveness of the apllication based on pre-test and post-test data. The result of the statistical calculation showed that t0 (t-value) was higher than the tt (1,99 < 5,71 > 2,65). Based on these finding, it can be said that the use of Educandy application effective in teaching vocabulary.يستند هذا البحث إلى المشكلات التي يواجهها الطلاب عند تعلم اللغة العربية. وجدت الباحثة أن قدرة الطلاب على حفظ المفردات ومعناها وفهمها وتطبيقها في الحياة اليومية ضعيفة. وسبب ذلك أن استخدام الوسائل التعليمية غير مناسب وطريقة التدريس التي اتبعها في الفصل غير فعالة وغير ممتعة.والهدف من هذا البحث هو الكشف عن استخدام برمجة إيدوجاندي educandy في تعليم المفردات، تحليل الاختلاف في قدرة الطلاب على حفظ و فهم المفردات قبل استخدام برمجة إيدوجاندي وبعد استخدامها، والكشف عن فعالية استخدام هذه  البرمجة في تعليم المفردات.استخدمت الباحثة المدخل الكمي بالمنهج التجريبي من دراسة شبه التجريبية. ومجتمع هذا البحث هو طلاب الصف العاشر في المدرسة الثانوية الإسلامية الحكومية سورونج من عدد 284 طالبا، والعينة من طلاب الصف العاشر "E-3" فعددها 35 طالبا كمجموعة تجريبية، والصف العاشر "E-2" فعددها 35 طالبا كمجموعة ضابطة. واستخدمت الباحثة قانون test-t ثم استخدمت الملاحظة والاختبار لأسلوب جمع البيانات. وبعد أن قامت الباحثة بتحليل البيانات، وصلت إلى متوسطي الاختبارين القبلي والاختبار البعدي انطلاقا من متوسط نتائج المجموعة التجريبية على قيمة 25،17 ومتوسط نتائج المجموعة الضابطة على قيمة 13،85 فتدل على أن نتائج المتوسطة المجموعة التجريبية أكبر من متوسط المجموعة الضابطة. وتوصلت إلى تحليل البيانات بقاعدة اختبار "ت" نتيجة ت الحسابي t0 هي 5،71 فالجدول عند مستوى دلالة ٥% على قيمة 1،995 ومستوى دلالة 1% على قيمة 2،650. وهذا يدل أن الفرضية البديلة Ha مقبولة، وأما الفرضية الصفرية Ho فهي مردودة. وهذا يعني أن استخدام برمجة إيدوجاندي في تعليم المفردات لدى الطلاب بهذه المدرسة ذو دلالة إحصائيا.
