Abstract

Peran kemajuan teknologi pada masa sekarang umumnya diharapkan dapat digunakan dengan bijak sesuai dengan fungsinya. Kecenderungan siswa dalam mengakses internet maupun media sosial tanpa disadari memunculkan beberapa permasalahan, salah satunya yang ditemukan peneliti mengenai perilaku cyberbullying. Cyberbullying adalah tindakan agresif dan memiliki tujuan dimana dilakukan oleh suatu kelompok atau individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik sosiodrama untuk mengatasi perilaku cyberbullying di sosial media pada siswa di SMP Negeri 8 Madiun. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yakni menggunaan siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 8 Madiun, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 7 siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 8 Madiun. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling. Dalam menganalisis data peneliti menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil Uji Wilcoxon Non-Parametrik Test menunjukan bahwa hasil peningkatan pada pre-test dan post-test pada peserta didik dengan hasil singnifikansi menunjukan 0,018 < 0,05 dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik sosiodrama efektif terhadap menggurangi perilaku cyberbullying pada siswa.

Abstract

Academic procrastination is a tendency to avoid or postpone academic tasks that students often carry out. Many factors cause academic procrastination, including internal and external factors. This study aims to determine the correlation between self-esteem, achievement motivation, and learning style on students' academic procrastination. This study uses quantitative research with a correlational study design. The population of this study is active students of PGRI Madiun University. The sampling technique used was proportional random sampling, and a sample of 586 students was obtained. The data collection technique uses a psychological scale with a Likert Scale model with alternative answers: Strongly Agree, Agree, Disagree, and Strongly Disagree. The self-esteem scale consists of 23 items, the achievement motivation scale consists of 12 items, the learning style scale consists of 30 items and the academic procrastination scale consists of 31 items. The data analysis technique uses product-moment correlation with the help of SPSS 29. The study results showed a significant correlation between self-esteem, achievement motivation, and learning style with academic procrastination.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the conditions of learning Scientific Writing, the prevalence and classifications of academic procrastination among students in this context. This study uses quantitative and qualitative descriptive approaches. The subjects of the study were students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, Universitas PGRI Madiun, who were taking the Scientific Writing course.Scales for academic procrastination, observation manuals, and document grids were the tools utilized to collect data. Data collection techniques were carried out through psychological assessments, passive participant observation, and document studies. While qualitative data analysis makes use of an interactive analytical model, quantitative data analysis makes use of descriptive statistics. The results of the study show that learning to write scientific papers has not been implemented properly. In addition, it is also known that there are several weaknesses in scientific works written by students, namely in the aspects of arranging logical thinking, discussion sequence, data literacy, argumentation, references, sentence and paragraph arrangement, use of spelling, scientific writing style, and originality. The level of academic procrastination among students in the Scientific Writing learning is relatively high. Compared to female students, men students put off learning Scientific Writing more often. The level of academic procrastination is correlated with student learning achievement.

Abstract

Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk membekali para guru pendamping khusus sekolah dasar inklusi dalam menyusun Individualized Education Program (IEP) membaca permulaan bagi siswa berkebutuhan khusus. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh 42 guru pendamping khusus yang berasal dari 42 sekolah dasar inklusi di Kabupetan Magetan. Instruktur pelatihan sebanyak 2 orang, yang memiliki keahlian di bidang pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia dan ahli di bidang psikologi pendidikan. Sarana prasarana dan biaya pelatihan disediakan oleh Dinas Pendidikan, Pemuda, dan Olah Raga Kabupaten Magetan. Pelatihan dilaksanakan selama 4 hari sebanyak 25 JP, meliputi pembekalan materi, penyusunan IEP membaca permulaan, dan evaluasi dan rencana tindak lanjut. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa penyusunan IEP membaca permulaan dilakukan melalui 3 kegiatan, yaitu pembekalan materi, pelatihan penyusunan IEP membaca permulaan, dan evaluasi dan rencana tindak lanjut. Kegiatan pembekalan materi berjalan dengan baik dan diikuti dengan antusias oleh seluruh peserta pelatihan. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian diketahui bahwa 86,90% IEP layak diterapkan dalam pembelajaran membaca permulaan bagi siswa berkebutuhan khusus. Pada akhir pelatihan, dilakukan evaluasi untuk mengetahui kekurangan dan kelebihan IEP membaca permulaan yang disusun guru. Rencana tindak lanjut dirumuskan untuk menentukan langkah-langkah yang harus dilakukan oleh guru pasca pelatihan.

Abstract

Anxiety that is often experienced by Junior High School (SMP) students is when faced with the process of determining career levels. This anxiety is closely related to the uncertainty of choices, environmental pressure, and the level of enthusiasm in facing competition. This study aims to obtain a description of junior high school students' anxiety in determining career levels. This study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological study. The data collection technique was carried out through structured interviews with five junior high school students to determine their anxiety in deciding their career path in terms of (1) uncertainty regarding future choices; (2) the form of enthusiasm for competition, and (3) pressure from the environment. The study results showed that students experienced anxiety in the uncertainty of future choices caused by the lack of exploration of self-potential, while pressure from the environment, such as family support or social experience, also influenced students' self-confidence levels. Negative anxiety can reduce learning motivation and make students hesitate in determining career choices that suit their abilities and interests. On the other hand, positive anxiety can be a motivation to study harder. For further research, Guidance and Counseling teachers need to provide adequate guidance for junior high school students so that they can recognize their potential, overcome emotional stress, and make the right decisions regarding further education paths. __________________________________________________________________Kecemasan yang seringkali dialami siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) adalah ketika dihadapkan pada proses menentukan jenjang karier. Kecemasan ini berhubungan erat dengan ketidakpastian pilihan, tekanan lingkungan, serta tingkat semangat menghadapi kompetisi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh deskripsi kecemasan siswa SMP dalam menentukan jenjang karier. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara terstruktur terhadap lima siswa SMP untuk mengetahui kecemasan dalam menentukan jenjang karier ditinjau dari (1) ketidakpastian terhadap pilihan masa depan; (2) bentuk rasa semangat terhadap kompetisi, dan (3) tekanan dari lingkungan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa mengalami kecemasan dalam ketidakpastian pilihan masa depan yang disebabkan kurangnya eksplorasi potensi diri, sementara tekanan dari lingkungan, seperti dukungan keluarga atau pengalaman sosial, turut mempengaruhi tingkat kepercayaan diri siswa. Kecemasan yang bersifat negatif dapat menurunkan motivasi belajar dan membuat siswa ragu dalam menentukan pilihan karier yang sesuai dengan kemampuan dan minat mereka. Sebaliknya, kecemasan yang bersifat positif dapat menjadi motivasi untuk lebih giat belajar. Bagi penelitian selanjutnya, guru Bimbingan dan Konseling perlu memberikan pendampingan yang memadai bagi siswa SMP agar dapat mengenali potensi diri, mengatasi tekanan emosional, dan membuat keputusan yang tepat terkait jalur pendidikan lanjutan.

Abstract

The high level of academic procrastination in the Scientific Writing course needs serious attention because, if left unchecked, it can result in failure to achieve academic achievement. The main focus of this study is to analyze the impact of Project-Based Learning Model on academic procrastination and examine the impact of Self-Regulated Learning as a mediating variable among students in Scientific Writing courses. This research uses an experimental research design. The research population was all students from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas PGRI Madiun, Indonesia, who were taking the Scientific Writing courses. A sample of 186 students was obtained by using the cluster random sampling technique. The instruments used were the Self-Regulated Learning scale and the academic procrastination scale. Data analysis includes descriptive data analysis, prerequisite tests, and inferential data analysis using a two-way ANOVA. The following research findings support the following findings: (1) students in the Scientific Paper course who received a project-based learning model showed significantly higher levels of academic procrastination than students who received a conventional learning model; (2) students in the Scientific Paper course who had high levels of self-regulated learning and those who had low levels of self-regulated learning showed significantly higher levels of academic procrastination; and (3) there was an interaction effect between the project-based learning model and self-regulated learning on academic procrastination of students in the Scientific Paper course. It is thought that the growth of SRL will improve academic performance and boost students' accountability for their education. To track the evolution of SRL and the calibre of students' scientific work over time, further longitudinal study can be done. Another possible line of inquiry is the creation of a hybrid learning paradigm that specifically combines SRL training and PBL.

Abstract

Vocabulary learning for students with special needs, the accuracy of the selection of learning models and media greatly determines the success of learning objectives. Therefore, it is necessary to provide material and training for special assistant teachers of inclusive elementary schools in implementing the group counseling model with contemporary puppet media in vocabulary learning. The purpose of this training is to provide teachers with basic concepts related to vocabulary learning, group counseling models, and innovative learning media. In addition, it also aims to provide skills to special assistant teachers in Inclusive schools in Magetan Regency in implementing the group counseling model with contemporary puppet media to improve vocabulary mastery of students with special needs. The training activities were carried out in 3 stages, namely the material provision stage, practice in implementing the group counseling model with contemporary puppet media, and practice in implementing the group counseling model with contemporary puppet media in schools. The training method uses lecture methods, demonstrations, and direct practice in schools. The results of the training were that at the material provision stage, material was provided on vocabulary learning, group counseling, innovative learning media, and the group counseling model with contemporary puppet media. The group counseling model application training activities using contemporary puppet media were carried out through 3 activities, namely recreational activities, psychoeducation, and resolution. The evaluation results showed an increase in participants' understanding of the principles and basic techniques of group counseling, as well as an increase in their confidence in applying this model in the school environment. This activity is expected to support the creation of a more inclusive and responsive learning environment to students' needs. The recommendation from this activity is the need for further training and ongoing supervision to ensure the sustainability of group counseling practices by GPK in each school.

Abstract

Abstract:  This training aims to equip parking attendants in Madiun City to have the attitude and politeness of language while carrying out their duties. This training is crucial because the attitude and politeness of speech play a crucial role in fostering a sense of security, comfort, and respect among vehicle users. The training activities were carried out in 2 stages, namely the material provision stage and the field practice stage. During the material provision stage, participants received information on (1) Regional and Madiun Mayor Parking Management Regulations, (2) Attitude Development, and (3) Language Politeness. Each participant carried out field practice by implementing good attitudes and speaking politely when carrying out parking duties. The training participants were 20 parking attendants in the Madiun City area. The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of the University of PGRI Madiun fully funded this training activity. The training method uses lecture and practice/demonstration methods. The training results show a change in good attitudes and the use of polite language among the training participants. Abstrak: Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk membekali para juru parkir di Kota Madiun agar memiliki sikap dan kesantunan berbahasa selama menjalankan tugasnya. Pelatihan ini penting dilakukan karena sikap dan kesantunan berbahasa dalam bertutur sangat penting dalam memberikan rasa aman, nyaman, dan memberikan rasa hormat kepada pengguna kendaraan. Kegiatan pelatihan dilakukan melalui 2 tahap, yaitu tahap pembekalan materi dan tahap praktik di lapangan. Pada tahap pembekalan materi diberikan materi tentang: (1) Peraturan Daerah dan Peraturan Walikota Madiun tentang Pengelolaan Parkir, (2) Pengembangan Sikap, dan (3) Kesantunan berbahasa. Praktik di lapangan dilakukan oleh setiap peserta dengan menerapkan sikap baik dan bertutur dengan santun ketika menjalankan tugas parkir. Peserta pelatihan sebanyak 20 juru parkir di wilayah Kota Madiun. Kegiatan pelatihan ini dibiayai sepenuhnya oleh Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (LPPM) Universitas PGRI Madiun. Metode pelatihan menggunakan metode ceramah dan praktik/unjuk kerja. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan adanya perubahan sikap yang baik dan penggunaan bahasa yang santun pada peserta pelatihan.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the Individualized Education Program (IEP) on early reading ability of students with special needs in Inclusive Elementary Schools in Magetan Regency based on reading interest. This study used 2 x 2 factorial design with pre-test and post-test control group design. The samples were selected using a cluster random sampling technique; 35 students were selected as experimental group members, while 37 were selected as control group members. Reading interest scale was used to measure the reading interest of students, and early reading ability was measured using early reading ability test. Two-way ANOVA was used to analyse the hypothesis. The test was performed with a multiple comparison test using Scheffe's method. The results show that (1) there are differences in the early reading ability of students with special needs who are taught by applying the IEP and those who are not; (2) there are differences in the early reading ability of students with special needs between groups of students with high reading interest and low reading interest; (3) there is an interaction between the application of IEP and reading interest in improving the early reading ability of students with special needs.
