Abstract

Kuripan Village, Demak, possesses abundant cattle manure resources but faces challenges related to waste management and energy needs. This community engagement initiative aims to integrate educational and health technologies for cattle farmers to develop Kuripan Village into a renewable energy-based village. The methods employed included program socialization, training in virtual reality (VR)-based educational media creation regarding cattle manure utilization, health risk education on livestock waste and cattle farming business prospects, dissemination of information on biogas-based electricity generation systems, and the initiation of biogas reactor construction. The results indicate an increased understanding and skills among youth partners in VR educational media production, enhanced awareness among cattle farmers regarding health risks and the economic potential of cattle manure, comprehension of biogas-based electricity generation systems, and active community participation in the biogas reactor construction, which has reached a 60% completion stage. This program is expected to serve as a model for technology integration and community empowerment in realizing renewable energy-based villages.

Abstract

Abstrak: Artikel ini menjelaskan tentang kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa kelas VII saat menyelesaikan soal cerita pada materi aljabar. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MTs Tarbiyatul Aulad yang berlokasi di Desa Perdopo Kecamatan  Gunungwungkal Kabupaten Pati dengan jumlah subjek penelitian sebanyak 33 siswa. Data diperoleh dari tes kemampuan literasi numerasi dan wawancara, kemudian data dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi numerasi sebesar 33 siswa menunjukkan kategori baik dengan nilai rata-rata 84,5. Siswa dengan nilai tertinggi dapat memenuhi dua sampai tiga indikator, sedangkan siswa dengan nilai tes keterampilan literasi numerasi yang rendah hanya memenuhi satu tes indikator. Tidak terpenuhinya indikator disebabkan oleh kesalahan siswa antara lain : 1) Tidak menuliskan informasi data yang diketahui dan ditanyakan, 2) Salah dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan, 3) Salah dalam menghitung, dan 4) Tidak menuliskan kesimpulan hasil jawaban yang diperoleh. Kata Kunci: kemampuan literasi numerasi, aljabar, soal cerita.   Abstract : This article describes junior high school students' literacy numeracy skills in solving story problems on algebra. The research was conducted at private junior high school located in Perdopo, Gunungwungkal, Pati with 33 students research subjects. The data were obtained through the literacy numeracy skills test and interview results, and then the data were analyzed using a qualitative descriptive study. The results showed that the literacy numeracy skills of 33 students showed an good category with an average score of 84,5. Students with the highest score can fulfilled two to three indicators, while students with low score of literacy numeracy skills test only fulfilled one indicator. The unfulfillment of indicators is caused by student errors include: 1) Not writing known data information and asked, 2) Wrong in solving the problem, 3) Wrong when calculating, and 4) Not writing conclusions on the results of the answers obtained. Keywords: literacy numeracy skills, algebra, story problems.

Abstract

: yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini terdiri dari beberapa tahap yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan pelatihan, tahap implementasi dan tahap evaluasi dan pendampingan. Hasil: para guru menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan dalam merancang dan mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis AI, serta memiliki motivasi yang lebih tinggi untuk mengintegrasikan teknologi ini ke dalam proses belajar mengajar di sekolah. Kesimpulan: Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran serta mendukung transformasi digital di lingkungan SDN Pandean Lamper 01 Semarang.

Abstract

This research aims to obtain the Cox regression equation in managing student study duration data and to determine variables or factors that significantly influence student study duration. We used data from 2017 FPMIPATI (Fakultas Pendidikan Matematika, Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Teknologi Informasi) UPGRIS (Universitas PGI Semarang) Mathematics Education study program students which consisted of four predictor variables including gender, cumulative achievement index, parents' educational background, and organizational participation. From the results of the survival analysis, it was found that the factor that had a significant influence on the duration of student studies was the cumulative achievement index.

Abstract

Kuripan Village in Karangawen, Demak, has significant potential for renewable energy development through the utilization of cattle waste. Unmanaged cattle waste has the potential to pollute the environment, while household energy needs remain dependent on fossil fuels. This community service activity aims to empower the community through the use of biogas from cattle waste as a renewable energy solution. Implementation methods include outreach, technical training in biogas installation construction, and assistance in operation and maintenance. The results of the activity indicate that the community is able to independently build and manage the biogas installation. The resulting biogas is used for daily cooking needs, while the waste is used as organic fertilizer. This activity not only contributes to reducing waste and greenhouse gas emissions, but also reduces household energy costs by IDR 60,000 – 90,000 per month and improves the welfare of livestock farmers.. The implications of the activity indicate that the integration of appropriate technology with active community participation can encourage the creation of sustainable, energy-independent villages

Abstract

During the implementation of Field Experience Practices (PPL) at SMA Negeri 10 Semarang, researchers obtained data that students at the high school still experienced several obstacles and deficiencies in the learning process, understanding learning objectives, and relating the material to other things. Using a good learning model will help students connect concepts both in mathematics and in other fields. The aim of this research is to determine the increase in students' mathematical connection abilities in Understanding by Design (UbD) with problem-based learning (PBL) assisted by LKPD. This research uses classroom action research (PTK). The research procedure used consists of several stages, namely problem diagnosis, planning, action, observation, data analysis, and reflection. The sample in this research was class X-9 at SMAN 10 Semarang. The research results showed that in cycle I the average student learning outcome was 72.08 and classical completeness was only 44.44%. This is certainly very far from ideal. In cycle II the average learning result for class X-9 was 80.44 and classical completeness increased to 66.67%. Even though it has increased, it has not reached the ideal target, so treatment is needed in the third cycle. In cycle III the average learning outcome was 86.89 and classical completeness increased to 88.89%. This was said to be complete and successful. Thus, UbD with PBL assisted by LKPD can improve students' mathematical connection abilities in learning.

Abstract

Producing quality graduates is one of the goals of learning in schools. Therefore, to get the quality of graduates, it is necessary to improve the quality of learning in schools continuously. One way to improve the quality of learning in the classroom is to improve teacher competence. One of the teacher competencies that need to be improved in relation to learning in the classroom is creating learning using creative and innovative learning media. This community service aims to optimize the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in preparing teaching media for elementary school teachers in Kendal Regency. The lack of ability of elementary school teachers in Kendal Regency, especially at State Elementary School 1 Patukangan in using learning media, makes teachers need to be equipped with knowledge and skills in making learning media. The methods used in this activity include preparation, training, mentoring and evaluation stages. The results obtained from this PKM activity are 90% of elementary school teachers in Kendal district who take part in the workshop have been able to develop learning media that can be used in classroom learning especially related to multimedia with materials that support the development of Artificial Intelligence-based teaching materials.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pendekatan etnomatematika membantu peserta didik menyelesaikan masalah geometri berdasarkan kecerdasan visual spasial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari kecerdasan visual spasial pada siswa tingkat rendah. Ini adalah jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subyek yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini adalah satu subyek memiliki kecerdasan visual spasial rendah berdasarkan hasil tes yang dilakukan. Kami menggunakan tes kecerdasan spasial, tes pemecahan masalah etnomatematika, dan wawancara. Keabsahan data diperiksa dengan cara menggunakan triangulasi teknik, yaitu dengan memeriksa data dari sumber yang sama namun dengan teknik yang berbeda. Analisis dibuat berdasarkan faktor-faktor kemampuan menyelesaikan masalah dengan mempertimbangkan kecerdasan visual spasial. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subyek dengan kecerdasan visual spasial rendah dapat memahami masalah, membuat rencana solusi, dan mencoba memecahkan masalah tetapi tidak sepenuhnya berhasil dan mengalami kesulitan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan implementasi dari media pembelajaran Word Wall dalam pelajaran IPAS untuk siswa kelas 5 di SDN Tandang 01 Semarang. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena kurangnya minat belajar siswa kelas 5, yang terlihat dari kurangnya keaktifan selama pembelajaran dan teknik pengajaran yang monoton. Guru kelas di sana hanya menggunakan Youtube dan PPT sebagai media pengajaran. Penelitian ini menerapkan.metode kualitatif, dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik.pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian dilaksanakan di kelas 5 SDN Tandang 01 Semarang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat belajar siswa bervariasi. Siswa dengan minat belajar tinggi lebih mudah memahami materi. Siswa dengan minat belajar sedang menunjukkan ketertarikan saat pembelajaran IPAS menggunakan media Word Wall, tetapi kadang merasa bosan. Selain itu, siswa dengan minat belajar rendah cenderung lebih cepat merasa bosan dalam mengikuti pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-modul interaktif matematika pada materi lingkaran kelas VIII. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu Research and Development (R&D), dan model yang digunakan yaitu model pengembangan 4-D, namun pada penelitian ini hanya sampai pada tahap 3-D saja yang meliputi: tahap pendefinisian (define), tahap perancangan (design), dan tahap pengembangan media (develop). Penelitian ini menggunakan uji validitas ahli media oleh dosen dan uji validitas ahli materi oleh guru Matematika dengan menggunakan skala likert dan prosentase validasi. Hasil validasi ahli media didapatkan rata-rata nilai validasi sebesar 3,71 dan prosentase validasi sebesar 92,74, sedangkan hasil validasi ahli materi didapatkan rata-rata nilai validasi sebesar 3,87 dan prosentasi validasi sebesar 96,7. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-modul interaktif berbasis AR matematika pada materi geometri untuk kelas VIII teruji kevalidan dan kelayakannya.
