Abstract

This research includes community service which aims to improve the skills of robotics teachers in Purwokerto, Banyumas Regency. UNIK ROBOT, a robotics education institution, has partnered with schools in the area to provide robotics education through extracurricular activities. Interest in robotics from schools and students is very high, because technology and robotics increasingly dominate everyday life. Project-based education methods and action learning are the main focus, with the aim of developing 21st century skills, such as creativity, critical thinking, communication and collaboration. Evaluation of success was carried out through observation methods, oral tests, and questionnaires, which showed a significant increase in robotics and online marketing skills by 90%. It is hoped that this activity can become the basis for further development of robotics education in Purwokerto and its surroundings. The results of the research stated that educational activities for robotics teachers in Purwokerto succeeded in increasing robotics and online marketing skills by 90%. Hopefully in the future there will be robotic material that can be taught again so that learning activities can further develop.

Abstract

The Sarung Goyor Home Industry business, located in Wanarejan Utara Village, Pemalang, has been running for several years. However, the use of residual textile dyes in the process of making goyor sarongs now poses a threat to the quality of well water in the area where residents live. This condition is a serious concern because some residents rely on water from the well for drinking, cooking, bathing, and washing. One of the impacts of this textile waste is abnormal water pH. The solution requires real-time monitoring of the pH of well water by utilizing Internet of Things (IoT) technology and pH sensors. In this solution, direct sampling using sensors is carried out at 3 monitoring points around the industrial area and processed to estimate the pH level of residents' well water. This monitoring system succeeded in showing that the average pH of well water was in a safe condition, namely 7.18, not much different from tests carried out with reference sensors, namely a pH range between 6.96 to 7.20. The findings show that in testing the assembled sensor, the IDW method has a measurable error rate with an RMSE of about 0.2629 and a MAPE of about 4.669%. When compared with the test results using a reference sensor, the RMSE value reaches around 0.4666 and the MAPE is around 6.553%.

Abstract

The development of information technology has an impact on the number of information systems in various fields as a form of implementing technological needs in the digital era. Gold shop is one type of business that requires an information system because there are still many transaction processes that are processed manually so that errors occur in the reports. Adil Gold Store is one of the largest gold shops in Banyumas Regency, which has 6 main branches, namely Wangon, Ajibarang, Cilongok, Pemalang, Jatilawang and Cilacap. Adil Gold Store requires an information system with centralized data, meaning that both buying and selling of gold can be monitored in one application by the owner. Management of product stock and inventory is also still manual which is ineffective. The additional innovation needed is the need for a mobile application for members. Based on these needs, an information system was created using the prototype method. This is because the gold shop is a very complex system and requires more in-depth analysis. The result of developing this system is a gold shop website equipped with a mobile application for members. The results of system testing show that performance is considered quite good because the testing accuracy of each role is above 90%, but some system errors still need to be fixed so that they can actually run properly

Abstract

Cyberbullying has become a major challenge that affects the mental health of adolescents in the digital era. This community service program aims to increase awareness and digital resilience of SMKN 1 Kaligondang students through education about the dangers of cyberbullying. Using counseling methods, interactive discussions, and case simulations, this program helps increase students' awareness of various forms of cyberbullying, including its psychological and social impacts, as well as strategies for preventing and handling cyberbullying wisely. The results of the activity showed an increase in students' understanding of the risks of cyberbullying, as well as a better understanding of how to report and deal with such situations in cyberspace. In addition, students showed a greater commitment to maintaining digital ethics and practicing safe social skills in digital media. This article is expected to be a basis for schools in developing similar initiatives to form a generation that is more aware and resilient in dealing with cyberbullying

Abstract

Desa Tlaga merupakan salah satu wilayah di Kecamatan Gumelar, Kabupaten Banyumas. Permasalahan kesehatan mental menjadi salah satu kondisi yang cukup memprihatinkan di wilayah ini. Kecanduan gadget yang dialami anak-anak akan berdampak pada perkembangan motorik kasar anak. Anak-anak yang kecanduan gadget akan cenderung melambat perkembangan motoriknya karena kurangnya pergerakan atau aktivitas fisik anak. Melihat fenomena masalah kesehatan mental yang banyak terjadi pada anak-anak dan remaja disebabkan karena kecanduan gadget menggerakkan kami untuk memberikan edukasi dan sosialisasi kepada warga masyarakat Desa Tlaga, Kecamatan Gumelar dengan tema “Edukasi Pentingnya Kesehatan Mental Dalam Era Teknologi Pada Remaja Desa Tlaga Kecamatan Gumelar”. Pelaksanaan PKM ini bekerja sama dengan Karangtaruna Desa Tlaga, Gumelar. Karangtaruna merupakan sebuah kelompok organisasi yang beranggotakan pemuda-pemudi desa yang lebih memilih untuk fokus mengabdi di desanya sendiri dibanding merantau ke luar kota. Pengabdian ini dilakukan dalam waktu 5 bulan dengan menerapkan metode pelaksanaan dan prosedur kerja yang disepakati antara mitra dan tim pengabdi. Edukasi dan Sosialisasi yang hendak dilaksanakan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi upaya untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat untuk mempergunakan teknologi khususnya gadget sesuai dengan tujuan yang benar

Abstract

The rapid development of technology has affected all areas of life, including the field of information. With the internet, disseminating information is easy and fast. In addition, the existence of social media has created a new habit of sharing posts or news to other netizens. However, this ease of information dissemination does not always have a positive impact on society. This is due to the lack of information literacy skills of the community which is the cause of a lot of information that is not clear the truth is spread widely quickly. One effort that can be a solution to this problem is the formation of a new culture, namely S filter first, then share. This culture can be formed by increasing awareness within each individual, and the main step is to hold socialization.

Abstract

Introduction to the Problem: The Internet of Things (IoT) has enabled the use of medical devices in the healthcare sector while presenting challenges in regard to the security and privacy of patients’ medical data. This article conducts a systematic literature review to evaluate the existing regulations related to the security and privacy of the patient’s medical data in real-time data collection through IoT in the context of a Smart City.Purpose/Study Objectives: This study aims to identify gaps in the existing regulations, analyze the implementation of these regulations in practice, and evaluate the impact of IoT technology on the privacy and security rights of patients’ medical information in the healthcare sector.Design/Methodology/Approach: The research employed a systematic literature review, by analyzing relevant articles, legal documents, and regulations. Data were examined from a case study of the implementation of IoT devices for healthcare in Smart Cities as well as interviews with legal experts in the field of healthcare services.Findings: The existence of the Electronic Information and Transaction Law, Personal Data Protection Law, and the latest Health Law provides the initial regulatory foundation for ensuring the security of personal data in the integrated governance of Smart Cities, especially in telemedicine services. Implementing regulations for these laws are necessary to technically accommodate the needs for the security of the patients’ data, ensuring that there is no imbalance between the provisions of the laws that are enacted and their implementation in the community.Paper Type: Research Article

Abstract

Production expansion to suboptimal areas such as tidal land through the application of integrated land management technology is an effort to increase soybean production in Indonesia. The study aimed to evaluate the morphophysiological response of soybean treated with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) inoculation and duration of water saturation in tidal land. The study was conducted in April-October 2021 in the plastic house of the Research Field of the Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Palembang. The experiment used a randomized complete block design with two factors and 3 replications. The first factor was the source of AMF propagations (without inoculations, corn inoculants, soybean inoculants, sugarcane inoculants, and soybean-sugarcane inoculants). The second factor was the water saturation periods (0, 2, and 4 months since planting), so there are 15 treatments. The results showed that the interaction between the inoculant sources and the duration of water saturation had no significant effect on all parameters. The inoculant propagated in the media of sugarcane produced the highest effect as compared to other treatments. The water saturation for 2 or 4 months since planting gave soybean plants a better morphophysiological response than conventional cultivation. Abstract

Artikel ini mengkaji upaya sosialisasi dengan judul “Perlindungan Anak dari Kekerasan dan Diskriminasi” di SD Negeri 2 Karangduren. Fokus utama adalah meningkatkan pemahaman siswa kelas VI terkait isu kekerasan dan diskriminasi. Pendahuluan menggambarkan urgensi perlindungan anak dari dampak jangka panjang kekerasan dan diskriminasi, sementara metode penelitian mencakup tahap persiapan melalui observasi dan wawancara. Pelaksanaan kegiatan mencakup penyampaian materi melalui ceramah dan media visual, seperti powerpoint dan video animasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan partisipasi aktif siswa, namun juga menghadapi hambatan, seperti kurangnya kerjasama sebagian siswa dan kendala teknis. Meskipun demikian, penggunaan teknologi dan interaksi langsung menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang efektif. Kesimpulan menyoroti pemahaman mendalam siswa terhadap konsep kekerasan dan diskriminasi, ditunjang oleh partisipasi aktif dan pemanfaatan media pembelajaran. Sebagai saran, disarankan kelanjutan kegiatan sosialisasi dan dukungan berkelanjutan dari pihak sekolah. Hasilnya diharapkan membentuk budaya perlindungan anak yang positif di lingkungan Pendidikan.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan memperkenalkan anak-anak Taman Pendidikan Quran (TPQ) pada penggunaan Microsoft Word untuk meningkatkan literasi digital mereka. Metode pelaksanaan melibatkan survei lapangan, penentuan rencana kegiatan, pengajuan proposal, permohonan izin, dan persiapan perlengkapan. Sosialisasi dilakukan melalui metode ceramah dan praktik langsung, dengan tujuan meningkatkan pemahaman anak-anak dalam pengoperasian Microsoft Word. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan partisipasi aktif dari 15 anak TPQ, meskipun terdapat hambatan jumlah peserta dan minimnya pemahaman awal terhadap teknologi. Melalui pendampingan narasumber, anak-anak TPQ mulai mengenal dan mampu mengoperasikan Microsoft Word. Dampak dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pemahaman awal kepada anak-anak TPQ tentang Microsoft Word, mengembangkan literasi digital mereka, dan membuka peluang untuk pengembangan keterampilan kritis dan kreativitas. Harapannya kegiatan ini menjadi landasan untuk peningkatan literasi digital anak-anak TPQ, mendukung integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran agama, dan membangun budaya perlindungan anak dari kekerasan dan diskriminasi di masa depan
