Abstract

Bahasa Inggris sebagai salah satu contoh bahasa asing yang sudah diajarkan di beberapa Taman Kanak-kanak sebagai lembaga pendidikan formal bagi anak usia dini. Pembelajaran bahasa Inggris ini menimbulkan tantangan tersendiri dalam pembelajaran dimana guru dituntut untuk dapat memberikan pelajaran bahasa Inggris yang efektif dan efisien bagi anak usia dini dalam penyajian materi maupun praktek pembelajaran bagi anak. Maka diperlukan metode yang tepat untuk dapat mengoptimalkan pelajaran ini untuk dapat dipahami dengan baik oleh anak. Dengan dilibatkannya orangtua dalam proses pembelajaran dapat membantu anak dalam memahami pengajaran yang diberikan oleh guru. Workshop pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang melibatkan orangtua dan anak se-kelurahan Kapuk Kecamatan Cengkareng Jakarta Barat menjadi salah satu cara yang diambil dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa asing khususnya berbahasa inggris bagi guru, orangtua dan anak. Dengan mengambil sampel pada lima sekolah dan melibatkan guru dan orangtua peserta didik se-kelurahan Kapuk, baik guru, orangtua dan peserta didik bertambah pengetahuan dan wawasannya tentang bagaimana metode mengajarkan bahasa Inggris yang menyenangkan. Kegiatan ini berhasil membuat para peserta kegiatan dapat mempelajari bahasa Inggris dengan cara yang menyenangkan, kemudian dalam kegiatan ini para peserta memperoleh pengetahuan yang mendalam tentang cara berbicara bahasa Inggris yang benar. Pendampingan melalui pertemuan langsung dan online (Zoom Virtual Conference) dengan orangtua dan guru membawa dampak yang baik dalam memberikan pemahaman dalam mempelajari bahasa inggris bagi guru dan orangtua sehingga anak dapat mempelajari bahasa Inggris yang menyenangkan baik dari guru di sekolah dan orangtua mereka dirumah.

Abstract

Return on Asset adalah alat ukuran profitabilitas untuk menegtahui kemampuan perusahaan dalam mengelola asetnya untuk menghasilkan laba selama satu periode. Return on Asset dapat dihitung dengan membagi laba bersih perusahaan dengan total aset dan ditampilkan sebagai persentase. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh Debt to Equity Ratio, Debt to Asset Ratio dan Fixed Assets Turnover Ratio pada perusahaan sektor keuangan yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2019-2023. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 106 perusahaan dan sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 15 perusahaan pada Sektor keuangan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dan komponen dan pengamatan yang dilakukan selama lima tahun yaitu mulai dari 2019-2023 Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu teknik analisis regresi linear berganda, uji asumsi klasik, uji t, uji F dan uji koefisien determinasi. Pengolahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan program software SPSS (Statistic Package for the Social Sciens) versi 23.0. Hasil penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa secara parsial maupun simultan Debt to Equity Ratio dan Debt to Asset ratio memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Return on Asset . Namun, pada Fixed assets Turnover Ratio tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap Return on Asset  pada perusahaan sektor keuangan perbankan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2019-2023.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the Implementation of Islamic Religious Education and Efforts to Strengthen Islamic Religious Education at SMK Negeri 2 Barru. This type of research ai I is descriptive qualitative research. Data collection was carried out by interview, observation, and documentation methods. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, checking the validity of the findings is carried out by researchers, using the help of various sources, theories, methods, and observations. The subjects of the study were school principals, vice principals for curriculum, facilities and infrastructure for PAI teachers. The results of the research, discussion and analysis of data / information show that 1) Description of the Implementation of Islamic Religious Education at SMK Negeri 2 Barru with supporting factors, namely: students, teachers/educators, curriculum, extracurriculars, collaboration between parents and the school, facilities and infrastructure. 2) An overview of the school's efforts in strengthening Islamic religious education at SMK Negeri 2 Barru. The strengthening efforts carried out are strengthening efforts with supporting factors, namely aspects: students, teachers/educators, curriculum, extra-curricular and facilities and infrastructure. Thus the implementation and efforts to strengthen Islamic Religious education at SMK Negeri 2 Barru can run well.

Abstract

This study aims to explore strategies that can strengthen the core skills of future teachers of Islamic religious education through the Field Teacher Training Program (PLPK) at STAI Sirojul Falah. In the context of the ever-changing dynamics of education, the presence of strong pedagogical skills is essential for future teachers. This study used a qualitative method with downsizing data collection, data reporting, and interview insights to examine students' experiences during PLPK, as well as challenges they faced such as lack of direct experience and difficulties in managing the classroom. Interviews with students and supervisors have shown that thorough preparation and good support are key to increasing their competence. This study also found that the integration of theory and practice into the learning process is an important factor in the development of basic skills. In addition, character education is considered very important in the interaction between future teachers and students. The results of this study are expected to serve as recommendations for the development of educational programs at STAI Sirojul Falah and provide useful insights into future education policies. The results of the study show that PLPK contributes to the readiness of future teachers to solve problems in this area, as well as supports them in becoming competent and professional teachers.

Abstract

ICT literacy is an essential aspect of Indonesian language learning in primary schools. Its integration has the potential to improve learning quality while preparing students to navigate global challenges. The rapid advancement of ICT shapes individuals' ways of thinking, behavior, and actions, significantly influencing the learning process, particularly in Indonesian language education. Proficiency in ICT literacy is crucial for students as it enhances their ability to access and utilize information efficiently, develop strong language skills, and appreciate the significance of the Indonesian language.  This study utilizes a literature review method with a qualitative descriptive approach. Analysis of journal articles reveals that strengthening ICT literacy largely depends on teachers' active involvement. The research seeks to examine the extent of teachers' participation in fostering students' ICT literacy. Successful implementation requires incorporating ICT into the curriculum and providing comprehensive teacher training on ICT use. Additionally, optimizing language learning applications and project-based learning approaches is necessary to enhance students' ICT literacy skills.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of work ethic on teacher performance at SMP Muhammadiyah 11 Makassar City. Considered as an important component that supports professionalism and learning success is teacher work ethic. In this study, a quantitative approach was used together with a survey. The relationship between work ethic and teacher performance was studied using inferential statistical techniques after data were obtained from questionnaires distributed to a number of participating teachers. The results of the study showed that there was a positive and significant correlation between work values ​​and teacher performance. Teachers who have high work enthusiasm tend to get good results, especially in terms of planning, implementing, and evaluating learning. This finding suggests that improving teacher work ethic helps improve the quality of education. Therefore, fostering work ethic is an important part of the continuous development of teacher professionalism.

Abstract

Examining how the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning paradigm might increase students' motivation to learn is the goal of this study. TGT is a cooperative learning approach that creates an engaging and dynamic learning environment by fusing group projects, instructional games, and competition activities. Classroom action research, or CAR, is the methodology used in this study. Students who had taken part in learning utilizing the TGT model were given learning motivation questionnaires as part of the data collection process. The data analysis's findings demonstrate that applying the TGT approach helps raise students' motivation for studying. This is demonstrated by the rise in motivation scores derived from the examined questionnaire data. As a result, the TGT model can be applied as a substitute for traditional teaching methods to boost students' willingness to learn, particularly in junior high school Islamic Religious Education courses.

Abstract

Film “12 Cerita Glen Anggara” menceritakan tentang Glen Anggara yang bertemu dengan Shena, seorang gadis yang memiliki 12 daftar keinginan yang ingin dicapai sebelum penyakit yang diderita Shena semakin parah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini, untuk menganalisis pemaknaan semiotika Roland Barthes yang meliputi makna denotasi, konotasi, dan mitos yang terkandung dalam film “12 Cerita Glen Anggara” karya Luluk HF. Film ini dipilih karena menyuguhkan beragam nilai kehidupan yang tersembunyi di balik narasi remaja dan kisah romansa, seperti nilai kekeluargaan, persahabatan, serta kepedulian sosial. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis kualitatif deskripti. Data diperoleh dari tuturan dan adegan dalam film “12 Cerita Glen Anggara” yang dianalisis menggunakan tiga lapisan pemaknaan Barthes: denotatif (makna literal), konotatif (makna emosional/budaya), dan mitos (makna ideologis).  Sumber data penelitian ini berasal dari film 12 Cerita Glen Anggara yang ditayangkan pada aplikasi netflix sejak tanggal 23 Januari 2023. Dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa simak, catat, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menemukan beberapa data berupa tuturan dan adegan yang masing-masing memuat pemaknaan mendalam yang mencerminkan pandangan budaya dan nilai-nilai sosial masyarakat. Melalui kajian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa film 12 Cerita Glen Anggara tidak hanya menjadi tontonan hiburan, tetapi juga sarat makna simbolik yang layak dikaji secara semiotik untuk memahami pesan-pesan tersembunyi yang disampaikan kepada penonton. Abstract The movie “12 Stories of Glen Anggara” tells the story of Glen Anggara who meets Shena, a girl who has 12 wish lists to achieve before Shena's illness gets worse. The purpose of this study is to analyze the semiotic meaning of Roland Barthes which includes the meaning of denotation, connotation, and myth contained in the film “12 Stories of Glen Anggara” by Luluk HF. This movie was chosen because it presents a variety of life values hidden behind teenage narratives and romance stories, such as family values, friendship, and social care. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative type. Data were obtained from speech and scenes in the film “12 Stories of Glen Anggara” which were analyzed using Barthes' three layers of meaning: denotative (literal meaning), connotative (emotional/cultural meaning), and mythical (ideological meaning).  The data source of this research comes from the movie 12 Stories of Glen Anggara which was aired on the netflix application since January 23, 2023. By using data collection techniques in the form of listening, recording, and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques are done by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study found some data in the form of speech and scenes, each of which contains deep meaning that reflects the cultural views and social values of society. Through this research, it can be concluded that the movie 12 Stories by Glen Anggara is not only an entertainment spectacle, but also full of symbolic meanings that deserve to be studied semiotically to understand the hidden messages that want to be conveyed to the audience.

Abstract

Land conversion is a crucial issue in spatial planning and environmental protection policies in Indonesia, especially in the context of providing Green Open Space. The Minister of ATR/BPN Number 14 of 2022 affirms the obligation of a minimum of 30% Green Open Space from the city area, which consists of 20% Public Green Open Space and 10% Private Green Open Space. Using normative and empirical juridical approach methods to examine the problem of land conversion and the effectiveness of spatial planning laws and state administration in controlling these phenomena. The analysis results show that despite the regulatory regulations, there are still weaknesses in supervision and law enforcement that cause the rampant illegal and unsustainable land conversion. For this reason, it is necessary to increase supervision, enforce strict laws, and strengthen policies and regulations related to green open spaces to ensure the sustainability of ecosystem functions and support sustainable development. This study provides strategic recommendations for policymakers, law enforcement, and the community regarding the enforcement of land conversion laws according to the principles of open space conservation. This article recommends strengthening the spatial-based surveillance system, consistently applying administrative sanctions, and involving the public in the spatial planning process.

Abstract

Jurnal ini bertujuan memperoleh informasi mengenai bentuk dan jenis inovasi guru dalam memanfaatkan media pembelajaran digital di MIN 2 Makassar. Media yang tersedia meliputi LCD, gambar, globe, dan laptop pribadi guru. Ketersediaan media ini mendukung proses pembelajaran yang lancar, efektif, dan efisien, serta memudahkan pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran. Inovasi guru sejalan dengan kemampuan mereka dalam memanfaatkan media tersebut. Bentuk inovasi antara lain guru membekali diri dengan keterampilan membuat PowerPoint animasi agar menarik perhatian siswa. Guru juga menyiapkan media visual seperti video YouTube berdurasi maksimal 5 menit, gambar menarik, globe, dan animasi bersuara yang sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran. Dalam memilih media, guru mempertimbangkan kesesuaian dengan materi, tujuan, latar belakang siswa, dan lingkungan belajar. Guru terus meng-upgrade diri, baik melalui pelatihan maupun belajar secara mandiri. Dengan demikian, keterampilan, upaya guru, dan fasilitas yang tersedia dapat dimanfaatkan secara optimal dalam proses pembelajaran di MIN 2 Makassar, sehingga menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif, menarik, dan efisien.
