To prevent the complications of hypoglycemia in people with diabetes, good and proper health education can increase the awareness of people with diabetes to want to change behavior in undergoing treatment programs so that sugar levels can be controlled and prevent various acute complications, especially complications of hypoglycemia. Increased knowledge is the basic principle of overcoming hypoglycemia in patients with diabetes mellitus independently and intensively. Education and behavior have shown a reduced risk of hypoglycemia for patients with diabetes mellitus. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of hypoglycemic education on the incidence of hypoglycemia. This study used a Quasi Experiment design, the experimental design used was The Pretest-Posttest design without a control group. The technique used was total sampling. The sample used in this study was DM sufferers who came to Posyandu Lansia Desa Balowerti who had health problems with diabetes mellitus. Bivariate analysis was performed with a statistical test dependent sample t-test (paired t test.) The number of samples taken was Diabetes Mellitus patients who came to the posyandu of elderly balowerti, with a total of 20 respondents. The study was conducted in September 2019. The statistical test results obtained p value of 0.048, which means p value is less than alpha (P <0.05) which means Ho is rejected, so it can be concluded that there are differences in blood sugar levels of patients with diabetes mellitus before education and after diabetes exercise posyandu elderly balowerti village of Kediri .

Pendahuluan: Hipertensi merupakan salah satu penyakit tidak menular (PTM) dengan prevalensi tinggi di Indonesia dan sering tidak terdeteksi sejak dini. Promosi kesehatan melalui Posbindu PTM menjadi strategi penting dalam meningkatkan perilaku deteksi dini, seperti pemeriksaan tekanan darah dan pola makan sehat. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh promosi kesehatan tentang hipertensi melalui Posbindu PTM terhadap perilaku deteksi dini pada masyarakat usia produktif. Metodologi: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimental one group pretest-posttest. Sampel berjumlah 47 orang berusia 15–59 tahun, dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuesioner terstruktur dan checklist pemeriksaan kesehatan. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. Hasil dan Diskusi: Terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan pada perilaku deteksi dini setelah intervensi promosi kesehatan (p < 0,05), baik dalam hal pemeriksaan tekanan darah rutin maupun penerapan pola makan sehat.Kesimpulan: Promosi kesehatan melalui Posbindu PTM berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan perilaku deteksi dini hipertensi. Disarankan agar program Posbindu dioptimalkan pelaksanaannya secara rutin. Kata Kunci: Promosi Kesehatan, Perilaku Pencegahan, Masyarakat, Pencegahan Penyakit

Drug-resistant tuberculosis (DR-TB) or drug resistance is a condition where TB germs can no longer be killed with first-line anti-tuberculosis drugs (OAT), so they must be treated with second-line OAT (Drug-resistant TB Patient Pocket Book, 2020). Drug-resistant tuberculosis (DR-TB) is still a threat in TB control and is one of the main public health problems in many countries in the world. The data collection technique in this activity was through a questionnaire survey given before and after the presentation of the material on Assisting Drug-resistant TB Patients. The sample was 46 participants who were TB Cadres from each Sub-district throughout Kediri City. The data analysis used in this activity by measuring the correct and incorrect answers between the pre- and posttests that had been filled out by the training participants. The results of the questionnaire filled out by the activity participants showed an increase in knowledge about Assisting Drug-resistant TB Patients Since being diagnosed. The success of drug-resistant TB treatment is also inseparable from the important role of the family, health workers, and patient companions who always support patients to undergo DR-TB treatment until completion. Effective assistance will affect the success of treatment, the patient's quality of life, and reduce the risk of transmission of drug-resistant TB in the community.

Cacar monyet, juga dikenal sebagai monkeypox, disebabkan oleh infeksi virus yang disebabkan oleh genus orthopoxvirus. Di Bali sendiri, belum ada kasus yang terkonfirmasi dari virus cacar monyet, tetapi perlu ada himbauan tentang virus dan cara mencegahnya. Salah satu cara untuk menghindari virus cacar monyet adalah dengan menggunakan tanaman herbal. Kegiatan ini menggunakan penyuluhan langsung melalui buku saku yang dibagikan kepada masyarakat di wilayah Banjar Sama, Kelurahan Pedungan. Untuk menilai pemahaman masyarakat terkait virus cacar monyet (monkeypox) yakni dengan dibagikannya kuisoner berupa pre-test dan post-test kepada 30 responden. Setelah dilakukannya pengolahan data dengan SPPS dapat dilihat adanya peningkatan pengetahuan terlihat dari Uji Wilcoxon nilai Asmp. Sig (2-tailed) kurang dari 0,05 menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan yang terlihat dari hasil nilai pre-test dan post-test berbeda bermakna atau signifikan hasil pre-test dam pos-test responden. Hasil yang dicapai yaitu masyarakat wilayah Banjar Sama, Kelurahan Pedungan sudah memahami tentang virus cacar monyet dan berhasil terealisasikan 100 %.

Diabetes melitus merupakan gangguan metabolik kronis yang ditandai dengan kadar glukosa darah yang melebihi ambang normal. Tingginya angka penderita diabetes mendorong pengembangan pengobatan alternatif berbasis bahan alam. Salah satu tanaman potensial adalah buah dewandaru (Eugenia uniflora) yang mengandung senyawa bioaktif seperti flavonoid dan asam fenolat yang diketahui memiliki efek hipoglikemik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas ekstrak etanol buah dewandaru dalam menurunkan kadar glukosa darah pada mencit (Mus musculus) yang diinduksi aloksan. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimental Pretest-Posttest Only Control Group Design. Ekstrak buah dewandaru diperoleh melalui metode maserasi dan diberikan pada 24 ekor mencit yang dibagi menjadi 4 kelompok (masing-masing 6 ekor). Kelompok 1 (kontrol negatif) hanya menerima aloksan, kelompok 2 (kontrol positif) menerima glibenklamid 5 mg, kelompok 3 menerima ekstrak 100 mg/kgBB, dan kelompok 4 menerima ekstrak 200 mg/kgBB. Kadar glukosa darah diukur pada hari ke-3 (pretest) dan hari ke-14 (posttest) menggunakan glukometer. Data dianalisis dengan uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk dan uji Paired T-Test menggunakan SPSS 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya penurunan kadar glukosa darah yang signifikan (p < 0,05) pada kelompok mencit yang diberi ekstrak 100 mg/kgBB dan 200 mg/kgBB dibandingkan kelompok kontrol. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak buah dewandaru berpotensi sebagai agen antidiabetes alami, sehingga penelitian lanjutan untuk isolasi senyawa aktif dan uji keamanan jangka panjang sangat dianjurkan.

Indonesia is a country with abundant natural wealth. Almost all kinds of plants can grow in this country. Most have been used since ancient times to treat various diseases. One of the efficacious plants used as medicine is the Dewandaru fruit (Eugenia uniflora L.). This study aims to identify the presence of flavonoid compounds in the Dewandaru fruit (Eugenia uniflora L.) and test the in vitro activity of the ethanol extract of the Dewandaru fruit. Dewandaru fruit extract (Eugenia uniflora L.) was prepared using the maceration extraction method with 96% ethanol solvent. The extraction process was carried out three times. The extract obtained was concentrated in a rotary evaporator at 40-45 °C and then dried in an oven at 40°C. The extracts obtained were identified by means of ultraviolet visible spectrophotometry thin-layer chromatography. obtained showed a positive reaction in the pre-test of flavonoids seen from the separation of red and from the separation of orange stains on thin-layer chromatography. The results of the in vitro test for the antioxidant activity of the ethanol extract of Dewandaru fruit showed an IC50 activity of 53.44 ppm.

One of the original Indonesian plants that has medicinal properties is Dewandaru (Eugenia uniflora Linn.). Dewandaru shows cytotoxic activity against cancer cells so it has the potential to be used as a drug preparation. The potential compound from the leaves of Dewandaru is Curzerene. This research was conducted to identify the interaction between the compounds of dewadaru leaves and PI3K receptors in prostate cancer. This study uses a computational method known as molecular docking. Bond energies, visualization of bonds, and types of bonds between compounds and receptors were observed. The PI3K receptor has fulfilled the method validation test requirements. The results showed that compounds from the dewadaru plant could inhibit one target protein from prostate cancer which was expressed with the lowest ∆Gbinding value, namely Curzerene compound (-7.65 kcal/mol) in PI3K protein. The interaction between Curzerene compounds has a lower binding energy value when compared to the original ligands at the PI3K receptor. Thus, it can be concluded that the Curzerene compound in the dewadaru plant used in the study has a good interaction with the PI3K receptor in prostate cancer. This compound has the potential to be developed as an anticancer drug. It is necessary to carry out in vivo testing and modification of the structure of the compound so that it can be used as an effective anticancer therapy in prostate cancer. Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disease characterized by hyperglycemia resulting from impaired insulin secretion. Dewandaru fruit (Eugenia uniflora L.) contains flavonoids which act as free radical scavengers and reduce oxidative stress. This study aims to prove that the administration of ethanol extract of dewadaru fruit at doses of 200 mg/KgBW and 400 mg/KgB can reduce blood glucose levels and repair damage to pancreatic β cells in alloxan-induced male white mice (Rattus norvegicus) wistar strain diabetes mellitus. This study used 32 mice aged 2-3 months weighing 25 grams intraperitoneally induced by alloxan (0.5 ml/kg). Mice were divided into four treatment groups, namely K- (alloxan), K+ (glibenclamide), P1 (dose of dewadaru fruit extract 200 mg/kgBB), P2 (dose of dewadaru fruit extract 400 mg/kgBB) Quantitative data by calculating blood glucose levels and the number of pancreatic β cells were analyzed using Paired T-Test. P2 is the dose of dewadaru fruit extract 400 mg/kg BW. In the repair of pancreatic β cells it was stated that the average damage to pancreatic β cells at a dose of 200 mg/KgBB was 67.5 and at a dose of 400 mg/KgBW was 89.1. This study proves that the ethanol extract of dewadaru fruit is able to lower blood glucose and inhibit the rate of damage to pancreatic β cells in mice with diabetes mellitus. Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara yang banyak memiliki kasus penyakit yang diakibatkan oleh inflamasi. Rasa sakit atau nyeri sering menjadi penyebab gangguan aktivitas sehari-hari. Inflamasi merupakan suatu respon dari tubuh yang terjadi akibat cedera maupun infeksi. Peristrophine adalah salah satu turunan senyawa antosianin yang berasal dari tanaman magenta (Peristrophe bivalvis L. Merr). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui aktivitas antiinflamasi dan nilai LD50 dari senyawa peristrophine secara komputasi. Metode dalam penelitian ini dilakukan secara in silico untuk meminimalisir terjadinya kegagalan pada uji in vivo ataupun in vitro. Bahan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data makromolekul yang dipakai sebagai reseptor yang didapatkan dari situs web Protein Data Bank (PDB) dengan PDB ID 5IKR menggunakan native ligand asam mefenamat sebagai senyawa pembanding. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah senyawa peristrophine memiliki nilai aktivitas sebesar -6.90 kkal/mol pada asam amino Tyr 385A dengan nilai toksisitas 650,974 mg/kg, sedangkan asam mefenamat memiliki nilai aktivitas sebesar -7.58 kkal/mol dengan nilai toksisitas 595.50 mg/kg. Dari hasil yang didapat, seyawa peristrophine diprediksi memiliki aktivitas farmakologi sebagai antiinflmasi.

Adolescent girls are a group with a risk of experiencing a decrease in Hb, because every month they experience menstruation. Menstruation results in a lot of blood, the loss of blood is synonymous with the loss of red blood cells. The reduced number of red blood cells results in the ability of the blood to carry oxygen into the body. This study aimed to prove whether age, weight and menstruation (predictor variable) affect blood Hb (response variable). The results of the study was also to determine which predictor variable has a dominant influence on the response variable. This research was carried out at SMPN 1 Ngancar, Kediri Regency, developing a cross-sectional design of 80 students, subjects were randomly selected and willing to be a sample. The predictor variable consists of age (x1), weight (x2) and menstrual status (x3), while the response variable is blood haemoglobin (y). The results of the study determined that the predictor variables that affected the subjects' blood Hb levels were age and menstruation. Menstruation is a more dominant variable than the age of the subject. Subjects should increase awareness in consuming foods high in iron, as well as Fe supplements, especially during menstruation.
