Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of Social Skills Training (SST) on improving social interactions and reducing psychological symptoms in individuals with schizophrenia by comparing pre-test and post-test scores of control and experimental groups. The quasi-experimental research, using a static group comparison design, involved five male post-hospitalized schizophrenia patients aged 19-40 in Nganjuk Regency. The experimental group received SST, while the control group did not. Results from paired sample t-tests indicated no significant change in the control group but showed significant improvement in the experimental group, with post-test scores significantly lower than pre-test scores (p < 0.05). Independent sample t-tests confirmed no significant difference in pre-test scores between groups, but post-test scores revealed significant differences, affirming SST's positive impact. The SST intervention, comprising sessions on communication, friendship, joint activities, handling difficult situations, expressing opinions, and family psychoeducation, significantly enhanced social skills and reduced negative responses. These findings highlight SST as an effective intervention for individuals with mental health issues, promoting better social interactions and reducing relapse rates, thereby supporting its integration into therapeutic practices.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of group positive psychotherapy on life satisfaction in inmates in IIA Kediri class. Subjects were 20 inmates living in prisons of IIA class in Kediri. Subjects selected by using purposive sampling technique which has low scores on life satisfaction scales with an age range of 20-39 years. This experimental research design uses Quasi experimental Pre-test-post-test control group design. Data analysis used is Different Test or t-Test and the technique used is paried Sample t-test. Data collection using the scale of Life satisfaction measuring tool using Satisfaction With life Scale (SWLS). The results showed that there was a difference of life satisfaction score in experimental group and control group that was obtained in control group with t-count value (1,000) less than t-table value (2,262) or significance value (0,343) more than alpha (0,050). In the experimental group the value of t-count (9,949) was more than the t-table value (2,262) or the significance value (0,000) less than the alpha (0.050).

Abstract

Kawasan Pusaka Niaga (bahasa Inggris: main street) adalah area bersejarah yang pada masa lalu sebagai generator kawasan dan mempunyai fungsi ekonomi yang tinggi. Namun, ketidakpahaman ekonomi pusaka serta strategi olah desain selalu menjadi alasan adanya ketimpangan dalam penataannya. Salah satunya adalah Kota Magelang sebagai kota kecil dengan sejarah perkembangan tata ruang fisik yang tinggi. Koridor ekonomi yang ada di tengah kota belum dikembangkan potensinya, khususnya terkait dengan aturan dan standard pelestarian kawasan berbasis 4 prinsip yaitu organisasi, desain, vitalitas ekonomi  dan promosi.  Implementasi kemitraan untuk kota kecil yaitu Kota Magelang dianggap masih memberatkan pelaksanaannya, berdampak pada desain yang tidak bisa dilakukan secara maksimal sehingga berpengaruh pada perkembangan kawasan ekonomi dan teknik promosinya. Kemitraan pada pengembangan Kawasan Pusaka Niaga Magelang sebagai aspek penting dalam pelestarian seharusnya melibatkan pemilik bangunan, pemerintah, dan swasta untuk mendapatkan pemanfaatan yang optimal dengan tetap memperhatikan nilai dan arti penting kawasan. Meskipun pada kenyataannya, kemitraan tersebut masih sangat sulit dilakukan karena konflik kepentingan dan pemahaman, terutama untuk kota-kota kecil seperti Kota Magelang.  Melalui tulisan ini dijabarkan konsep kemitraan yang bisa digunakan untuk kawasan pusaka niaga dengan melihat kawasan dan bangunan serta aktivitas masyarakat sebagai aset ekonomi yang harus dikembangkan. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan melihat kemitraan pada Kawasan Pusaka Niaga Kota Magelang tidak hanya sekedar penyediaan pendanaan, namun kolaborasi antar pihak dalam pengelolaan setelah penataan dengan tawaran manfaat didalamnya.  Konsep Public Private People Parthership menjadi salah satu konsep utama pengelolaan kemitraan dalam pelestarian kawasan pusaka niaga Kota Magelang.

Abstract

The responsibility of educating students is not only carried out by teachers at school but is a shared responsibility that includes parents. However, in practice, it seems that teaching and educating is solely the responsibility of teachers. Not only is there a lack of involvement at school, but only a small percentage of parents are actively involved in checking their children's assignments, whether at the elementary, junior high, or especially high school levels. As a result, many parents only become aware of their children's academic performance when they receive their report cards at school. This situation cannot be entirely blamed on the parents, as there has not yet been a widespread government policy regarding the involvement of parents in collaboration with teachers in the educational process, including monitoring their children's assignments and attendance. The method used in this study is classroom action research, aiming to optimize the role of parents so that students become more disciplined in submitting assignments and attending school. The sample in this research consists of students, parents, teachers, and the principal. Three research instruments were used: observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Interviews were conducted with students, teachers, and the principal, while questionnaires were given to parents to gauge their perceptions regarding the level of satisfaction, usefulness, and sustainability of the EPC program. The data was processed using descriptive statistical analysis. The results of this study show that the role of parents in monitoring their children's assignments and attendance through EPC is highly effective. In Class XII A, the discipline in submitting assignments increased from 82.8% to 97%, and attendance from 80% to 100%. In Class XII F, discipline in submitting assignments rose from 57% to 97%, and attendance from 80% to 100%. Additionally, the evaluation of the usefulness of EPC showed that 18 out of 32 respondents strongly agreed, while 14 others agreed that the EPC program should be continued for all subjects at SMA N 1 Bungo. Parents suggested that EPC be implemented in all subjects, and both the principal and teachers recommended applying this program to all subjects.

Abstract

Permasalahan jerawat pada remaja dapat memengaruhi kualitas hidup mereka sehingga mereka melakukan upaya untuk mengobati, salah satunya dengan menggunakan produk anti-acne. Terdapat banyak marketplace di media sosial memudahkan akses produk anti-acne. Namun, mayoritas remaja memilih produk anti-acne hanya berdasarkan ulasan dan konten di sosial media yang mana kurang ideal karena berisiko terpapar counterfeit dan tidak ada jaminan keaslian produk. BPOM menyediakan Cek KLIK BPOM sebagai sarana pemeriksaan keaslian produk untuk melawan pemalsuan. Tujuan studi ini adalah untuk mengetahui kewaspadaan remaja terhadap produk anti-acne counterfeit menggunakan Cek KLIK BPOM. Penelitian merupakan survei menggunakan instrumen kuesioner dengan pendekatan Studi Cross-Sectional. Metode sampling yang digunakan adalah accidental sampling. Data yang didapatkan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil survei terhadap 140 remaja yang menunjukkan kewaspadaan tinggi pada 121 responden (86,43%). Responden sudah dapat mengidentifikasi kemasan baik, kelengkapan label, dan kedaluwarsa tetapi belum dapat mengidentifikasi nomor izin edar yang benar.  Mayoritas responden mengenali istilah Cek KLIK BPOM (61,4%).  Namun, mayoritas responden belum pernah mengunjungi laman Cek BPOM (77,9%) meskipun sudah mengetahui manfaat dari laman tersebut (59,3%). Diperlukan sosialisasi tentang laman dan aplikasi Cek BPOM kepada masyarakat luas sebagai sumber informasi penting untiuk memastikan kebenaran dan keaslian produk kesehatan dan kosmetik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the implementation of pharmacist counseling in community pharmacies in Malang Regency. This research method is an observational study, with a cross-sectional design. Data analysis shows a significant relationship (p <0.05) between each independent variable and the implementation of counseling. In conclusion, the availability of facilities and infrastructure has the strongest influence on the implementation of pharmacist counseling, followed by attitudes, knowledge, and policies. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of product quality on customer satisfaction and loyalty at Laritta Bakery Shop Dharmahusada Surabaya. The study originates from a research gap that has not specifically explored the dimensions of product quality in shaping customer satisfaction and loyalty in the bakery industry. This research employs a quantitative method with a causal associative approach. The sample consists of 96 respondents selected using Simple Random Sampling. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and path analysis. The results show that product quality has a significant influence on customer satisfaction (β = 0.398; t-value = 5.538; p = 0.000) and customer loyalty (β = 0.661; t-value = 10.298; p = 0.000). Customer satisfaction also significantly affects customer loyalty (β = 0.317; t-value = 3.181; p = 0.001), although its impact is smaller compared to product quality. These findings highlight the importance of improving product quality, particularly in terms of reliability, aesthetics, and durability, to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. This study provides strategic contributions for Laritta Bakery in increasing competitiveness and retaining customers.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease that ranks second as the cause of death in the infectious disease group after HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) infectious disease. Pamekasan Regency is ranked fifth in East Java in terms of TB cases, after Sumenep, Lumajang, Malang City, and Jember Regencies. The Head of the Pamekasan Regency Health Office is committed to increasing the understanding of TB Cadres to help patients carry out long-term treatment. The activity method was in the form of training on TB Treatment for TB Cadres of Health Centers and TB Managers of the Health Office in Pamekasan Regency. The implementation was held on October 17, 2020 in Pamekasan. There were 58 participants consisting of 35 TB Cadres and 23 TB Managers. The results of the training showed that there was an increase in understanding, with an average score of 8.4828 after the training and 6.6379 before the training with a p pired t test = 0.000. Conclusion The training has an effect on increasing the understanding of TB Cadres and Managers of the Health Office in Pamekasan Regency regarding the treatment and prevention of TB transmission. This activity targets four categories of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), namely SDG 3 (Good health and well-being), SDG 4 (Quality education), SDG 16 (Peace, justice and strong institutions) and SDG 17 (Partnership for the goals).

Abstract

This research aims to determine the readability level of reading texts and the readability class of reading texts in English books with the title "English for Nusantara" for class VII. The method used in this research is a descriptive research method with a quantitative approach. Researchers measured the level of readability of reading texts in the book "English for Nusantara" using the Flesch Reading Ease and Flesch Kincaid Reading Age formulas. Researchers measured 11 reading texts, which are all the reading texts in the "English for Nusantara" textbook. The results of the analysis of the Flesch Reading Ease formula, the 11 reading texts carried out by researchers in the reading texts were grouped into 4 levels, namely; easy, fairly easy, standard and fairly difficult. Of the 11 reading texts, namely easy with 1 text, fairly easy with 3 texts, standard with 4 texts and fairly difficult with 3 texts. Meanwhile, from the analysis results for the readability class, the researcher found that of the 11 reading texts, only 1 text was suitable for class VII junior high school students, namely text 5, reading text number 5 was based on the Flesch Kincaid Reading Age with a score on a scale of 7.00-7.99, which means suitable for use with class VII students.

Abstract

Legalitas merupakan salah satu asas hukum pidana sebagaimana ditentukan dalam Pasal 1 ayat (1) KUHP yaitu setiap perbuatan dapat dipidana apabila di dasarkan pada peraturan perundang-undangan yang berlaku. Namun dalam kenyataannya tidak semua perbuatan yang terjadi di dalam kehidupan telah ada pengaturan hukumnya, sehingga menimbulkan ketidakpastian hukum untuk menentukan status hukum perbuatan tersebut. Sehubungan dengan hal itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas mengenai kategori hukum perbuatan cabul sesama pria dewasa dan kebijakan hukum pidana mengenai perbuatan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian hukum normatif, yaitu penelitian terhadap data sekunder yang berupa bahan-bahan hukum primer, sekunder dan tersier. Bahan-bahan hukum tersebut dikumpulkan melalui studi Pustaka. Kemudian bahan-bahan hukum yang telah terkumpul diolah dan dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perbuatan cabul sesama pria dewasa (homoseksual) dalam perspektif Pasal 292 KUHP bukan tindak pidana. Karena Pasal 292 KUHP hanya mengatur perbuatan cabul antara pria dewasa dengan anak yang belum dewasa. Perbuatan cabul sesame pria dewasa dalam perspektif kebijakan hukum pidana adalah cukup urgen dikriminalisasi sebagai tindak pidana, karena perbuatan tersebut tidak sesuai dengan norma agama dan norma kesusilaan.
