Abstract

Meningkatkan kompetensi dan profesionalisme pendidik untuk mendukung peningkatan kualitas pendidikan. Program ini menekankan pada penguasaan empat kompetensi utama, yaitu pedagogik, profesional, sosial, dan kepribadian. Melalui sertifikasi, guru diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efektivitas proses pembelajaran, menciptakan inovasi dalam metode pengajaran, dan memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode studi literatur yang menganalisis berbagai sumber terkait efektivitas sertifikasi guru dalam dunia pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sertifikasi berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran, kesejahteraan guru, dan motivasi kerja. Siswa yang diajar oleh guru bersertifikat cenderung memiliki prestasi akademik yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siswa yang diajar oleh guru yang belum bersertifikat. Namun, masih terdapat berbagai tantangan dalam pelaksanaan sertifikasi, seperti kurangnya pelatihan lanjutan, distribusi sertifikasi yang belum merata, dan kesenjangan antara teori yang diajarkan dalam sertifikasi dengan praktik nyata di kelas. Oleh karena itu, evaluasi dan perbaikan sistem sertifikasi guru diperlukan agar dapat berjalan lebih efektif dan merata di seluruh Indonesia. Dengan mengoptimalkan program sertifikasi, diharapkan dapat tercipta lebih banyak pendidik yang profesional dan berkualitas, sehingga dapat membawa kemajuan bagi sistem pendidikan nasional.

Abstract

This research will describe the indirect process in which the values of religious moderation are not explicitly taught to the Santri through the norms, habits, and culture observed and lived in the pesantren environment. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection in this study was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis in this study uses data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the values of religious moderation internalized in pesantren through the Hidden Curriculum, such as tolerance, peace, interfaith cooperation, and a moderate attitude in addressing differences in religious beliefs, are reflected in daily life in pesantren. The hidden curriculum includes all aspects of teaching and learning that are not explicitly listed in the formal curriculum but still significantly impact the formation of student characters, attitudes, and values. In religious moderation, this refers to internalizing values that create a moderate, tolerant, and open attitude toward religious differences. The Hidden Curriculum is an alternative model for internalizing the Merdeka curriculum, which is more flexible in instilling Curriculum values.

Abstract

Student learning motivation is a crucial factor in achieving quality educational outcomes. The implementation of the Independent Curriculum, which emphasizes flexibility, student-centered learning, and holistic competency development, is expected to bring significant changes to learning motivation. Although it aims to increase interest and intrinsic motivation through the freedom to choose materials, methods, and evaluations, this transition also presents challenges that can affect student motivation in various ways. This article, based on a comprehensive literature review, aims to deeply analyze the dynamics of student learning motivation in the Independent Curriculum era. This study covers the basic concepts of learning motivation (definition, function, principles, improvement strategies) and examines the important role of teachers and the implementation approach of the Independent Curriculum—such as personalization, the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5), personal approach, and active learning—in fostering motivation. It is hoped that this article will provide significant understanding and practical implications to support improving the quality of education in Indonesia by strengthening student learning motivation within the framework of this new curriculum. ABSTRAKMotivasi belajar siswa merupakan faktor krusial dalam mencapai hasil pendidikan berkualitas. Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka, yang menekankan fleksibilitas, pembelajaran berpusat pada siswa, dan pengembangan kompetensi holistik, diharapkan membawa perubahan signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar. Meskipun bertujuan meningkatkan minat dan motivasi intrinsik melalui kebebasan memilih materi, metode, dan evaluasi, transisi ini juga menghadirkan tantangan yang dapat memengaruhi motivasi siswa secara beragam. Artikel ini, berdasarkan kajian literatur komprehensif, bertujuan menganalisis secara mendalam dinamika motivasi belajar siswa di era Kurikulum Merdeka. Kajian ini mencakup konsep-konsep dasar motivasi belajar (definisi, fungsi, prinsip, strategi peningkatan) serta mengkaji peran penting guru dan pendekatan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka—seperti personalisasi, Proyek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5), pendekatan personal, dan active learning—dalam menumbuhkan motivasi. Diharapkan artikel ini memberikan pemahaman signifikan dan implikasi praktis untuk mendukung peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia melalui penguatan motivasi belajar siswa dalam kerangka kurikulum baru ini.

Abstract

Penguasaan huruf hijaiyah merupakan fondasi penting dalam belajar membaca Al-Qur'an di tingkat dasar. Kendala seperti kurangnya motivasi, metode pembelajaran konvensional, dan media menarik yang terbatas menyebabkan rendahnya kemampuan menghafal siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji efektivitas metode Beyond Center and Circle Time (BCCT) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menghafal huruf hijaiyah siswa kelas I di MIN 1 Muara Enim. Jenis penelitian adalah kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimental One Group Pretest-Posttest. Populasi adalah seluruh siswa kelas I, dengan sampel 32 siswa yang dipilih secara purposif. Instrumen utama berupa tes kemampuan menghafal huruf hijaiyah yang diberikan sebelum dan setelah intervensi. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji t berpasangan (paired t-test). Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dari skor rata-rata sebelum (58,59) menjadi sesudah (84,41) penerapan metode BCCT (p < 0,05). Kesimpulan, metode BCCT efektif meningkatkan kemampuan menghafal huruf hijaiyah siswa. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penerapan metode ini secara luas dalam pembelajaran dasar Al-Qur'an.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah mengubah peran guru sebagai fasilitator pembelajaran, menuntut penguasaan kompetensi pedagogik berbasis teknologi. Model Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) menekankan pentingnya integrasi antara teknologi, pedagogik, dan konten dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran. Pemerintah Indonesia telah menerapkan berbagai kebijakan, seperti Program Guru Penggerak dan Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG), untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogik guru dalam menghadapi tantangan era digital. Namun, masih terdapat hambatan dalam implementasi kebijakan ini, seperti keterbatasan akses terhadap teknologi dan kurangnya pelatihan yang merata bagi guru di daerah terpencil. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur dengan analisis isi terhadap berbagai dokumen kebijakan pendidikan, jurnal ilmiah, dan laporan penelitian yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan pengembangan kompetensi pedagogik guru berbasis digital telah memberikan dampak positif terhadap keterampilan guru dalam mengintegrasikan teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Namun, terdapat tantangan dalam penerapannya, termasuk kesenjangan digital, rendahnya kesiapan guru, dan kurangnya dukungan institusional. Untuk meningkatkan efektivitas kebijakan, diperlukan strategi seperti pemerataan akses pelatihan digital, pendampingan teknis bagi guru, pemberian insentif, serta integrasi kebijakan dalam kurikulum sekolah. Selain itu, evaluasi kebijakan secara berkala diperlukan agar dapat beradaptasi dengan perkembangan teknologi dan kebutuhan pendidikan. Dengan pendekatan yang lebih komprehensif, kebijakan pengembangan kompetensi pedagogik guru di era digital dapat lebih optimal dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di Indonesia.

Abstract

Qiroatul kutub is a critical language skill in pesantren education. Despite its importance, preliminary research indicates that only 30% of students in South Sumatra's pesantren can proficiently read classical Arabic texts, known as the yellow book. This gap highlights the need to examine how various pesantren implement qiroatul kutub learning. This qualitative study employed a phenomenological design to explore learning constructions in traditional, semi-modern, and modern pesantren. Data were collected through structured interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. Analysis followed Miles and Huberman's interactive model: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. Findings reveal commonalities in the use of classical texts, focus on Arabic grammar (Nahwu and Shorf), Arabic proficiency development, and the overarching goal of producing Islamic scholars. Differences emerged in teaching methods, curricula, subject focus, and linguistic approaches. Traditional pesantren retain classical techniques such as sorogan, bandongan, muhafazhoh, tarjamah, and bahtsul masail. In contrast, semi-modern and modern pesantren integrate these with contemporary educational methods. The study concludes that each pesantren type adapts its qiroatul kutub system in line with its institutional identity and vision. Understanding these variations can inform strategies to enhance classical text literacy among pesantren students

Abstract

adicalism in the mosque environment is one of the social phenomena that needs serious attention. Mosques, as centres of worship and Islamic learning, can be effective means of spreading moderate ideology, but are also vulnerable to infiltration of radical ideology. This phenomenon occurs in various cities in Indonesia, including Palembang. This research aims to analyze the penetration patterns of the spread of radical ideology through recitation activities in Palembang City mosques. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The data source in this research, namely the primary source, is the chairman of the mosque takmir, chairman of the Idarah and Imarah section, as the administrator who has the authority to make decisions regarding mosque management such as the recitation schedule at the mosque. The secondary source of this research will be directed at the mosque congregation who are involved in every activity held at the mosque. Data collection in this research used interview, documentation and observation techniques.  The stages of the data analysis process include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. The results of this research can be concluded as follows: The patterns of penetration of radical Islamic ideology from Salafi followers among residents and mosque congregations in Palembang include, among others, through the spread of Salafi ustadz as Friday preachers, through the distribution of books that have been explained. (syarah) from Salafi ulama circles, and through the distribution of message and video posts on Whatsapp Group.

Abstract

This conceptual analysis explores the integration of student-oriented learning (SOL) within Indonesia’s Merdeka Curriculum, addressing the evolving needs of education in the post-pandemic era. The shift from traditional teacher-centered approaches to SOL is driven by the need to develop 21st-century skills critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity amid rapid socio-economic changes and learning losses from COVID-19 disruptions. SOL empowers students as active agents in knowledge construction, with teachers acting as facilitators who tailor instruction to individual needs, motivations, and contexts. This aligns with the "Merdeka Belajar" initiative, launched by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) in 2022, which emphasizes flexibility, autonomy, and holistic development to foster the Profil Pelajar Pancasila. The study aims to analyze SOL’s principles, its alignment with Merdeka’s components, including flexible learning designs, Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5), and formative assessments, while identifying implementation challenges and offering practical recommendations. Employing qualitative library research, it synthesizes secondary sources from 2024-2025, including journals, policy reports, and books, analyzed through Miles and Huberman’s interactive model of data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. Findings reveal that SOL enhances student engagement through project-based learning and personalized feedback, improving academic outcomes and soft skills. However, challenges such as partial teacher understanding and digital disparities in remote 3T regions hinder effective implementation, exacerbating educational inequalities. Recommendations include intensive Guru Penggerak training, infrastructure upgrades via public-private partnerships, and inclusive monitoring to bridge theory-practice gaps, ensuring sustainable and inclusive educational recovery in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Discourse of Modernism in Islamic Education from the Perspective of the Philosophy of Values. The type of research used is library research, which involves analyzing various conceptual information and data, both qualitative and quantitative, derived from previous scholarly articles. The data analysis techniques in this library research include data reduction, categorization, thematic synthesis, interpretation, and theoretical conclusion drawing. Based on the findings and discussion, the discourse of modernism in Islamic education from the perspective of the philosophy of values emphasizes the importance of harmonizing Islamic teachings with the development of modern science and technology in a selective manner. Modernism is not understood as blind acceptance of new ideas, but as a filtering process to ensure alignment with Islamic principles. Islamic education is required to integrate religious and general knowledge in order to produce a generation that is both Islamic in character and globally competitive. Value-related challenges arise from spiritual crises, materialism, and the negative impacts of technology. Therefore, the philosophy of values serves as a reconstructive approach to balance knowledge, faith, morality, and social responsibility in order to form insan kamil with an authentic Islamic identity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concepts of knowledge (‘ilm) and morality (akhlaq) in the thoughts of Ibn Sina and Ibn Khaldun, viewed from the aspect of their contribution to Islamic education. This research is a literature review, analyzing various conceptual information and both qualitative and quantitative data obtained from previous scholarly articles. The databases used to collect articles for this literature study include Google Scholar, DOAJ, ResearchGate, and ScienceDirect, which provide reliable and up-to-date academic sources. The data were analyzed using content analysis, by examining themes, concepts, and theoretical relevance to produce a comprehensive synthesis in accordance with the research focus. The findings and discussion reveal that the concepts of knowledge, ethics, and methods of contemporary Islamic education are greatly influenced by the works of Ibn Khaldun and Ibn Sina. Both rejected the notion of knowledge as merely technical, emphasizing instead its role in guiding humans toward truth, happiness, and morality. Ibn Khaldun highlighted knowledge as a cultural product and a tool for building civilization, with ethics rooted in social interaction. Conversely, Ibn Sina stressed the integration of reason and faith, gradual education, and the teacher as a moral role model. Their ideas are significant as they contribute to shaping the insan kamil a complete human being capable of competing globally while addressing the challenges of globalization through the integration of knowledge, faith, and ethics
