Abstract

This study aims to explain the pattern of character education during the covid-19 pandemic and see the learn from home policy on weakening the character of elementary school students in Palembang City. The outbreak of the covid-19 pandemic has forced schools to change the tradition and model of implementing education. Basic education institutions must adapt quickly to the covid-19 emergency. The learn from home (LFH) policy has formed a new habit where teachers must use a full online learning system. The implementation of online learning has had an impact on weakening student character. This phenomenological qualitative research succeeded in finding the fact that the character education curriculum development model in elementary schools during the covid-19 pandemic tends to be unclear. The obstacles experienced by teachers in educating character during the Covid-19 pandemic include the absence of school management support in the form of support for learning tools and the weak understanding of teachers and internet-based learning models. The weakening of character in elementary school students is quite serious as a result of the LFH learning system in the form of the emergence of bad attitudes such as annoyance, sadness, anger, low self-esteem, lack of enthusiasm, lack of discipline as a result of the ineffectiveness of the online learning system.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the Learning Transformation of Multimedia-Based Character Education in the Era of Society 5.0 and what the supporting and inhibiting factors in the application of Character Education Learning Transformation in the Era of Society 5.0 at Ar-Rahman Islamic Boarding School Palembang, This research includes using qualitative research methods. Data was obtained using interviews and observations. The data analysis techniques used in this study are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and leveraging. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of multimedia-based character education learning transformation in the era of Society 5.0 takes place through the stages of habituation of students to behave well in the teaching and learning process using multimedia, practicing teacher advice, modeling good behavior exemplified by the teacher, and obeying the rules of the teacher in learning using multimedia. Supporting factors for implementing multimedia-based character education learning transformation in the era of Society 5.0 are school support, teacher support, students' willingness to learn using multimedia, and the existence of multimedia technology that students are familiar with. The inhibiting factors are the existence of bad people who deliberately damage the morals of the younger generation through bad applications, a less supportive environment, and the development of technology and communication that is growing rapidly.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyse the use of Tik Tok social media on students of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Raden Fatah State Islamic University Palembang. To analyse the character of caring and responsibility and to analyse the impact of using Tik Tok social media on character in students of the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Raden Fatah State Islamic University Palembang. This research uses qualitative research methods. Data obtained using interviews, observation and documentation were analysed using data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the use of the Tik Tok application at the Faculty of Sharia and Law, Raden Fatah State Islamic University Palembang is quite large, where the users are students. The use of the Tik Tok application as a medium to get entertainment. The impact of using the Tik Tok application on its use on religious behavior is seen from several behaviours, namely: behaviour towards God, Parents, Self, and behaviour towards the community environment where there isnoso negative and significant effects that can change student behaviour. Students still take all actions in accordance with what is taught by parents and religion. Through the Faculty of Shari'ah and Law, Raden Fatah State Islamic University Palembang, it is hoped that it will be able to become a forum for creativity and maintain the behaviour of adolescents from the negative impact of social media.

Abstract

This research aims to analyse the design of the Al Azhar curriculum and the 2013 curriculum in learning Fiqh subjects and the strategy for implementing the dualism of the Al Azhar curriculum and the 2013 curriculum in learning Fiqh subjects at Madrasah Aliyah Al Ittifaqiah. The approach in this research uses qualitative descriptive research with the type of field research, collecting data in the field, namely to observe the phenomena that will be researched in the field, using interviews, observation and documentation data collection techniques, sourced from stakeholders, Fiqh teachers and al Azhar students at MA Al Ittifaqiah, as for the data analysis technique, the researcher analysed the data using the Miles and Huberman analysis model. The results of this research show that the design of the Al Azhar curriculum and the 2013 curriculum uses a subject centered design pattern with the subject design and discipline design categories, and learn centered design with variations in the activity or experience design model, as well as problem centered design with model variations. the areas of living design. The teacher's strategy in implementing dualism curriculum is, in the Al Azhar curriculum the teacher uses active learning strategies and expository strategies with sorogan, lecture, story and question and answer methods, and Madrasah Fiqh (K-13) learning strategies, teachers use problem-based learning strategies, contextual teaching, expository and cooperative learning, using discussion, lecture, question and answer and story methods.
