Abstract

Rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini adalah “apakah terdapat faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kematangan emosi di SMA Negeri 1 Kabila?” penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kematangan emosi pada siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Kabila. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X, XI, XII SMA Negeri 1 Kabila yang berjumlah 600 siswa sedangkan pengambilan sampel penelitian dengan teknik random sampling berjumlah 60 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kematangan emosi siswa di SMA Negeri 1 Kabila adalah: (1) faktor perubahan jasmani dengan hasil persentase 68,05% dinyatakan dalam kategori sedang, (2) Faktor perubahan interaksi dengan orang tua dengan hasil persentase 70,4% dinyatakan dalam kategori sedang, (3) Faktor perubahan interaksi dengan teman sebaya dengan hasil persentase 56,8% dinyatakan dalam kategori sedang, (4) Faktor perubahan pandangan luar dengan hasil persentase 56,8% dinyatakan dalam kategori sedang. Jadi dapat disimpulkan secara keseluruhan bahwa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kematangan emosi siswa memperoleh hasil persentase 62,10% dalam kategori sedang.

Abstract

Youth unemployment in Tapaluluo Village, Gorontalo Regency remains high due to limited vocational skills and low interest in entrepreneurship, even though barbershop and sport massage businesses have promising potential. This community service program aims to enhance the skills and entrepreneurial readiness of Karang Taruna members through the BARSAGE training. The method includes strengthening entrepreneurial knowledge, practical service training, and assistance in the use of digital media. Evaluation was conducted through knowledge assessments, observation of practical performance, and participant satisfaction surveys. The results showed an increase in entrepreneurial knowledge from an average score of 57.4 to 83.6; 24 out of 29 participants (82.7%) achieved competency in service practice; and participant satisfaction reached 91%. The program contributed to creating new business opportunities and encouraging youth economic independence, with sustainability potential through continued mentoring and the establishment of a Karang Taruna-based business unit.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh bimbingan kelompok teknik bibliokonseling terhadap motivasi berprestasi siswa di SMK Negeri 3 Gorontalo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pre-eksperimen yaitu dengan mencari pengaruh variabel tertentu terhadap variabel lain dalam kondisi terkontrol. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 3 Gorontalo yang berjumlah 538 orang. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 15 orang berdasarkan aturan jumlah anggota dalam bimbingan kelompok. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner/angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan bimbingan kelompok teknik bibliokonseling terhadap motivasi berprestasi diperoleh nilai thitung sebesar 3,02 diperoleh ttabel 2,65 dari taraf 0,99. Ternyata thitung lebih besar dari ttabel. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan H1 yang berbunyi “ Terdapat pengaruh bimbingan kelompok teknik bibliokonseling (X) terhadap motivasi berprestasi Siswa (Y) pada siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 3 Gorontalo, diterima.

Abstract

The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education has created new opportunities for English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learning; however, research on the effectiveness of AI-based chatbots in improving students’ language skills and learning motivation remains limited, particularly in EFL contexts. This study investigates the impact of AI-based chatbots on students’ speaking and writing skills, as well as their motivation toward learning English. A quasi-experimental design was employed involving two groups of students: an experimental group using AI-based chatbots and a control group receiving traditional instruction. Data were collected through pre-tests, post-tests, questionnaires, and interviews to evaluate students’ achievement and perceptions. The findings revealed that the experimental group showed significantly greater improvement than the control group, with average post-test scores increasing by approximately 18% in speaking and 15% in writing. In addition, students reported higher levels of motivation, confidence, and classroom engagement due to the interactive and immediate feedback provided by the chatbots. These findings suggest that AI-based chatbots can effectively support EFL learning and complement conventional teaching methods by creating more interactive and student-centered learning environments. Future research is recommended to examine the long-term effects of chatbot-assisted learning and explore the integration of more advanced AI features in language education.
