Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of brand image on purchase intention mediated by trust. This research uses quantitative research methods. The population used in this study is the millennial generation who have purchased fashion products online in Batam City. The technique used in sampling this research is purposive sampling, namely the selection of samples selected based on consideration of convenience sampling techniques, where the sampling technique by sampling by chance which is considered as a sample member is people who are easy to meet, are at the right time, and are easy to reach. The criteria are the millennial generation who have purchased fashion products through e-commerce platforms in Batam who were born around 1980 to 1995 when technology was advanced. Data analysis used descriptive analysis, outer model analysis, inner model, and mediating hypothesis testing through the SmartPLS programme. The results showed that brand image has a significant effect on trust, trust has a significant effect on purchase intention, while brand image has no significant effect on purchase intention, but trust is able to mediate between brand image and purchase intention

Abstract

This study aims to conduct research on how Content Marketing, Online Reviews, and Brand Image influence purchasing decisions for Wardah skincare products for people in Batam City. dnerm The research population includes Batam people who have purchased Wardah skincare products online, with a sample size of 170 respondents. The method used is a quantitative approach, where data is collected through a survey using a questionnaire distributed to the people of Batam according to predetermined criteria. Data analysis was performed with SEM (Structural Equation Model) using SmartPLS software. The findings of this study indicate that Online Reviews have no influence on purchasing decisions, while Content Marketing and Brand Image are proven to have a significant effect on purchasing decisions. In addition, the people of Batam are very concerned about Content Marketing and Online Review when assessing a skincare brand.

Abstract

A smartphone is a cellular phone with a built-in microprocessor, memory, display and modem. With the development of the smartphone industry, manufacturers are creating gadgets that are increasingly sophisticated, top-notch and designed for their consumers. Therefore, those who are rebuilding their business must compete hard to improve their marketing strategies and sales of smartphone products. Therefore, this justifies the conductivity of research on consumer purchasing behavior towards this smartphone. This study was conducted to determine and analyze the effect of the role of social media and Brand Image on Samsung Smartphone Purchasing Decisions in Batam City. The research design uses descriptive quantitative methods and data analysis using Smart Partial Least Square analysis tools with a sample of 140 respondents. Research results: The R-square value is 0.375. This value says that the role of social media and brand image simultaneously influence purchasing decisions is 37.5%. The rest are other variables apart from the pattern variables in this study.
