Abstract

The purpose of this article is to describe formal, non-formal and informal Islamic educational institutions and their figures in Indonesia. The method used in this research is library research. The results of the research are: 1) Formal education iseducation directly supervised by the government­national constitution in accordance with laws and other juridical laws that regulate levels, curricula, educational staff and so on. Educational institutions­it's thereIslamic madrasas and colleges; 2) Non-formal education is an educational pathway that is held in the form of book recitation, taklim assemblies, al-Qur'an education, diniyah takmiliyah which consists of several levels, and other similar forms; 3) Informal education is a path of family and environmental education where learning activities are carried out spontaneously, do not require a learning design and are carried out at any time. Institution­education is family and community environment; and 4) Islamic education figures in Indonesia are Ki Hajar Dewantara whose birthday is enshrined as national education day, Ahmad Dahlan who is known as the founder of the Muhammadiyah organization and KH. Hasyim Asy'ari who is known as the founder of Nahdhatul Ulama with an educational concept that aims to form a highly ethical society.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and describe: 1) The interest in reading the Qur'an of students in MAN 1 Polewali Mandar. 2) The function of the tadarus al-Qur'an program is to instill interest in reading the Qur'an for students at MAN 1 Polewali Mandar. 3) Supporting and inhibiting factors of the Qur'an tadarus program in instilling interest in reading the Qur'an of students at MAN 1 Polewali Mandar. This type of research is field research with a qualitative approach and descriptive method located at MAN 1 Polewali Mandar. The primary data sources of this study were the Deputy Head of Madrasah for Student Affairs (key informant) and two teachers and five students (additional informant). Secondary data sources of this research are books, journals and the internet. The data collection methods used are observation, interview and documentation methods. Analysis of research data by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study found that the interest in reading the Qur'an of students at MAN 1 Polewali Mandar was quite high. The supporting factors are good cooperation between all parties in MAN 1 Polewali Mandar, support and encouragement from parents of students, quality human resource conditions and adequate facilities and infrastructureThe function of the Qur'an tadarus program is to form the habit of reading the Qur'an in students, so that in students there is an interest in reading the Qur'an. Inhibiting factors are the number of students who are very large and diverse, the place of implementation of the Qur'an tadarus program which is outdoors so that it is often hampered when it rains and the awareness of parents who are still lacking in giving examples to their children about reading the Qur'an

Abstract

This paper discusses learning planning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this paper is to provide an overview of the solutions to the problems of learning planning during the COVID-19 pandemic and the ability of educators to formulate learning plans during the COVID-19 pandemic. The study's findings indicate that future learning and planning are crucial. The COVID-19 pandemic requires the ability of an educator to involve parents, pay attention to environmental conditions and the habits of students in their homes. Learning plans that involve parents as supervisors for each student in carrying out learning activities independently Likewise, with the environment and habits of students at home as a form of appreciation for the psychology of the development of students, learning planning can arouse interest and challenge the curiosity of every student towards learning

Abstract

This study discusses the Tradition of Saying Tellu Beliefs in Lagosi Village Community, Pammana District, Wajo Regency (Qur'anic Perspective). The main problem is how the community's view of the tellu belief tradition in Lagosi Village, Pammana District, and how to apply the tellu belief tradition in the people of Lagosi Village, Pammana District, Wajo Regency and How is the Position of the Saying Tellu belief tradition in the perspective of the Qur'an in Lagosi Village, Pammana District, Wajo Regency. This research is a descriptive qualitative research using phenomenological, sociological, and historical approaches. Data collection techniques are carried out by participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The determination of data sources is carried out by snowball sampling and data analysis techniques using Miles and Huberman theoretical analysis, with the data processing process through three stages, namely: data reduction, data presentation (data display), and verification / conclusion drawing. The results showed that the people of Lagosi Village, Pammana District, considered the Bilang Tellu belief tradition very important before starting the activity, and they divided it into 4 (four) periods starting from three months of gems. The first period begins with the month of Muharram, Shafar, Rabi'ul Awwal, the second period begins in the month of Rabi'ul Akhir, Jumadil Awwal, Jumadil Akhir, the third period begins in the month of Rajab, Sha'ban, Ramadan, the fourth period begins the month of Shawwal, Dhulqa'dah, Dhul-Hijjah. The application of the Bilang Tellu belief tradition in Lagosi Village Community, Pammana District, Wajo Regency can be seen from all important activities, but in this study the focus is on marriage, travel and a business. In starting the activity, the determination of good days and bad days is determined by calculating tellu, but still the final determinant of all events is Allah Almighty the last determinant. The position of the belief tradition says that the author classifies it in the category of khurafat, which is to consider a certain day can bring success and failure if carrying out a celebration or effort on that day.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of library facilities on the reading interest of class XI students at the Tarbiyah Takalar Modern Islamic Boarding School. This research is quantitative research using an ex post facto method. The respondents in this research were class XI students at the Tarbiyah Takalar Modern Islamic Boarding School. Data collection in this research used a questionnaire instrument consisting of 20 statements, which were then analyzed using descriptive statistics and linearity analysis. Based on the results of descriptive statistical analysis, it can be concluded that the Tarbiyah Takalar Modern Islamic Boarding School's library facilities are in the medium category with a percentage of 72.2%, while the reading interest of class XI students at the Tarbiyah Takalar Modern Islamic Boarding School is also in the medium category with a percentage of 69.4%. This research also showed an influence between library facilities and the reading interest of class XI students at the Tarbiyah Takalar Modern Islamic Boarding School.

Abstract

This study aims to describe religious figures' role in developing converts' Islamic knowledge. This type of research is qualitative. The data sources in this study are religious figures and converts in the Muallaf village, Darussalam hamlet, Lembang district, Pinrang regency. The data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The research instruments are observation and interview guidelines. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. Data validity testing is carried out by data triangulation testing. This study's results state that religious figures' role in developing Islamic knowledge for converts in the Darussalam hamlet, Lembang district, Pinrang regency is good. There are supporting and inhibiting factors for religious figures in developing Islamic knowledge for converts. However, there are also solutions that religious figures can provide for inhibiting factors. This research implies that religious leaders should always improve the Islamic knowledge of converts in the Darussalam hamlet, Lembang sub-district, Pinrang regency through methods that make it easier for converts to learn so that they can easily learn Islam and as input to the convert village.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of TikTok social media usage on the morals of class XI students at Madrasah Aliyah Ukhuwah Islamiyah Pattallassang. This study is a type of quantitative research with a survey research method. The data sources in this study were students at Madrasah Aliyah Ukhuwah Islamiyah Pattallassang with a sample of 25 students. The research instrument used was a Likert scale to determine the scale of the influence of TikTok social media usage on students' morals. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive statistical analysis and simple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the descriptive analysis, the results of the study on the use of TikTok social media for class XI students at Madrasah Aliyah Ukhuwah Islamiyah Pattallassang were in the moderate category with a percentage of 68% while the results of the morals of class XI students at Madrasah Aliyah Ukhuwah Islamiyah Pattallassang were in the moderate category, namely 56%. From the results of the significance test, it shows that the TikTok social media usage variable has a negative coefficient value of 0.731, has a t-count value of 3.103 <ttable 1.70, and a significant value of 0.001 <0.05, which means that H1 is accepted while H0 is rejected. This means that there is an influence of the use of TikTok social media on the morals of class XI students at Madrasah Aliyah Ukhuwah Islamiyah Pattallassang

Abstract

Teachers are an important part of learning activities and play an important role in forming students' noble character by providing direct attention to encourage and motivate students to get used to having noble character. This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of teacher attention to Akidah Akhlak on the formation of students' noble character at MTs Muhammadiyah Limbung. This study uses a quantitative method with an ex post facto approach. Samples were taken from as many as 46 students from a total population of 227 people, with a proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires, observations, and documentation. The study showed that teacher attention influenced students' noble character formation. This finding shows the importance of teachers in shaping students' character through consistent and meaningful attention. The implications of this study are the need for training and strengthening the role of teachers in aspects of moral development, integration of noble character values ​​in learning activities, and development of madrasah policies that support the formation of students' character holistically.

Abstract

Methods in Islamic education are crucial for effective learning, spiritual growth, and character development. Rooted in religious, biological, psychological, and sociological principles, these methods encompass classical approaches like Imla', qira'ah, lectures, discussions, and memorization, alongside contemporary methods like demonstrations, assignments, sociodrama, question-and-answer sessions, exemplary behavior, and habituation. Education outside school (Pendidikan Luar Sekolah) further complements Islamic education, providing lifelong learning opportunities. By employing this diverse range of methods, educators can effectively impart knowledge, instill Islamic values, and prepare individuals to contribute meaningfully to society.
