Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pemahaman konsep mahasiswa pendidikan biologi pada materi pengetahuan lingkungan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di program studi pendidikan biologi di universitas pendidikan mandalika. Subyek penelitian adalah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan biologi yang dipilih secara random ( acak ) terdiri dari, tiga orang mahasiswa semester IV, satu orang mahasiswa semester VI, dan empat belas orang mahasiswa semester VIII yang berjumlah total sebanyak 18 orang mahasiswa. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu instrumen tes objektif berupa soal pilihan ganda disertai alasan dan tingkat keyakinan mahasiswa pendidikan biologi pada materi pengetahuan lingkungan berjumlah 20 butir soal. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik CRI (Certainty of Response Index) untuk mengevaluasi pemahaman konsep mahasiswa pada materi pengetahuan lingkungan. Data hasil tes kemudian dianalisis untuk menentukan persentase pemahaman konsep pada setiap butir soal yang diberikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pemahaman konsep masing-masing mahasiswa pendidikan biologi pada materi pengetahuan lingkungan masih belum sepenuhnya mampu mendapatkan nilai sempurna untuk setiap butir soal yang telah dikerjakan, di mana jumlah persentase mahasiswa yang tidak paham konsep sebesar 89% dan untuk mahasiswa yang termasuk dalam kategori paham konsep hanya terdapat 11%.

Abstract

The study aimed to observe the prevalence, intensity, and relationship of ectoparasites in bats in the southern region of Lombok Island, West Nusa Tenggara. The study was conducted in March 2018-February 2019. Bat samples were obtained from four caves in the southern part of Lombok Island. These caves include the Gale-gale Bangkang Cave, Buwun Cave, Semeti Cave, and the Raksasa Cave. Trapping bat samples for identification is done by using the Mist net. While taking ectoparasite samples is done by combing using a toothbrush. The organisms found were collected into sample bottles containing 70% alcohol. Analysis of the relationship between ectoparasites and bats was done by collecting data on ectoparasite species and ectoparasite abundance in each bat species, then further analysis was carried out to find the value of the Similarity Index (IS). The similarity index found is then cluster analysis. Cluster analysis aims to group based on similarity using Euclidean distance. The results of the study stated that based on the examination of 9 species of bats there were 14 species of ectoparasites identified. The value of the highest prevalence of ectoparasites in Gale-gale Cave Bangkang is found in Cyclopodia horsfieldii at 80% with an intensity value of 0.63, in Buwun cave is Amblyomma sp. of 100% with an intensity value of 1.50, in Cave Kenculit is Amblyomma sp. of 40% with an intensity value of 4.25 and in the Raksasa Cave is Cyclopodia horsfieldii of 70% with an intensity value of 0.71. While the relationship between the existence of ectoparasites in the bat's body states that the ectoparasite group in the body of bats can be grouped into 5 community groups. Group I consisted of the ectoparasite community in the Macroglossus minimus, and Rosettus an amplxicaudatus with Euclidean distance of 11,916. Group 2, the ectoparasite community was in Miniopterus pusillus, Rhinopoma microphyllum and Rhinolopus acuminatus with Euclidean distance of 15,362. Group 3 ectoparasite communities in the Chaerephon plicata and Taphozous melanopagon with Euclidean distances of 6,000. Group 4, the ectoparasite community only inhabited Eonycteris spelaea with Euclidean distance of 27,423. And group 5 also only inhabits Rhinolopus simplex with Euclidean distance of 46,293.

Abstract

Ranggawulung urban forest is one of the remaining vegetated sites in Subang. That place needs to be managed sustainably because of its potential to be a strategic location for biodiversity. Biodiversity studies in Rangawulung urban forest need to be conducted periodically to assess and control the impact of urban development. This study was undertaken to evaluate biodiversity in Subang City, especially Ranggawulung Urban Forest as an indicator of biological management in urban areas. There were ten species of mammals found in the Ranggawulung City Forest area from six families. One of the species found, the Javanese slow loris (Nycticebus javanicus), is a protected animal in Minister of Environment and Forestry regulations (PermenLHK Number P.106/2018). The animal is categorized as CITES Appendix I and Critical according to the IUCN red list. Diversity (H'), richness (Dmg), and evenness (E') indices of the area species were 2.03, 2.06, and 0.92, respectively. Ranggawulung Urban Forest is considered important as an animal habitat in Subang City and needs to be managed properly and sustainably.

Abstract

Schools become the real and best environment for students as prospective teachers to gain various experiences. This condition is to maximize and test various learning theories that exist during college at university. The purpose of this activity is to assist final year students from the Mandalika Mataram University of Education in participating in the Preschool Environmental Introduction program at MA Plus Nurul Islam Sekarbela. Mentoring activities are carried out through three stages, including preparation, implementation, and evaluation. This activity was attended by 8 students who are currently in their final semester. The results of this activity show that the mentoring process really helps students in getting to know various things related to the school environment. In addition to students, this activity also provides more experience for accompanying teachers to be able to transfer knowledge and experience that they have previously had to students as future teacher candidates

Abstract

Ranggawulung City Forest is a Green Open Space (RTH) located in Subang City. As one of the remaining forests in the middle of an urban area, this urban forest has great potential as a location for biodiversity management. This research was conducted to determine the value of biodiversity, especially herpetofauna in Ranggawulung City Forest, Subang City as an indicator for evaluating the success of environmental management in the future. This study uses the Visual Encounter Survey (VES) method modified with Time Search. The herpetofauna diversity (H') in general observed in the Ranggawulung City Forest was 2.59 in the HKR block, and 2.34 in the Buper block. The value of species richness (Dmg) in each block is 4.41 and 3.40. The two areas are relatively evenly distributed with an evenness value of more than 80%. There were no nationally protected species of herpetofauna, two of which were species whose trade was restricted internationally and were included in the CITES Appendix II category.

Abstract

Abstract

Dalam membuat penskoran dan pembobotan butir soal suatu tes, maka yang harus diperhatikan adalah tingkatan dalam setiap domain (kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor). Bentuk perangkat tes yang baik adalah tes yang butir-butir soalnya disusun dengan memperhatikan komponen-komponen tingkatan dalam suatu domain dan tersusun lebih dari satu bentuk tes. Sebelum atau selama pembuatan soal tes, guru harus merencanakan bentuk-bentuk penskoran yang akan diberlakukan. Hal ini akan dapat membantu guru dalam melaksanakan prinsip objektif dan metodik dalam kegiatan penskoran sehingga tidak terkesan asal memberi skor. Hasil penskoran yang terencana akan memudahkan kegiatan berikutnya dalam penilaian, yaitu mengkonversi skor hasil belajar menjadi skor prestasi atau nilai standar. Kegiatan pengabdian ini diperuntukkan bagi guru-guru non kependidikan di SMK Negeri 8 Mataram untuk lebih mengutamakan kearifan dalam memberikan skor penilaian hasil belajar sesuai mata pelajaran yang mereka kuasai. Target dan luaran dalam pengabdian ialah akan menghasilkan guru SMK Negeri 8 Mataram yang memiliki kemampuan dalam membuat rubrik skor. Luaran yang diharapkan dalam pengabdian ialah mampu memberikan pengetahuan akan pentingnya pembuatan rubrik skor dalam penilaian hasil belajar siswa, serta laporan mengenai terlaksananya kegiatan ini bagi institusi dan publikasi pada jurnal pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Hasil dari kegiatan ini mendapat respon yang sangat baik dengan adanya perubahan pemahaman guru-guru non kependidikan dalam membuat rubrik skor.

Abstract

Madrasah Tsanawiyah Alam Sayang Ibu (MSI) merupakan salah satu sekolah alam yang menggunakan metode pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PBL). Dengan demikian berbagai jenis proyek pembelajaran dilakukan disekolah ini, baik pembelajaran sains, sosial dan agama. Kegiatan pengabdian bertujuan untuk melakukan pendampingan kepada siswa/siswi MTs Alam Sayang Ibu untuk melaksanakan proyek pembelajaran yang bertemakan “Ashabul Kahfi”. Kegiatan ini menggabungkan 3 matapelajaran yaitu PAI (Pendidikan agama Islam), matematika dan fisika. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan di Gua Gale-Gale Bangkang 4-6 Maret 2019. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian diantaranya; a) Tahap persiapan, meliputi; survey lokasi gua dan koordinasi dengan pihak sekolah, b) Tahap pelaksanaan, meliputi sosialisasi kegiatan dan penyampaian materi proyek yang akan dilaksanakan dengan peserta pengabdian (Siswa kelas 7 dan kelas 8), dan pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian, c) Tahap penyelesaian, meliputi penyusunan laporan kegiatan dan pembuatan artikel. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ialah siswa mampu bekerja sama dengan tim, siswa mampu menyimpulkan makna dari Ashabul Kahfi, siswa mampu mengukur faktor fisika kondisi dalam gua dan siswa bersemangat mengikuti kegiatan ini

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam merancang dan menyusunan petunjuk praktikum dalam rangka persiapan ujian praktik kelas XII. Kegiatan tidak hanya diperuntukkan untuk guru yang mengampu matapelajaran biologi namun juga akan diikuti oleh guru yang mengampu matapelajaran yang akan melaksanakan ujian praktik menjelang Ujian Nasional serta siswa dan siswi kelas XII. Melalui kegiatan ini, diharapkan guru mampu merancang dan menyusun petunjuk praktikum yang dapat difahami dengan mudah oleh siswa. Sehingga kegiatan ujian praktik dapat berjalan lancar dan menghasilkan hasil evaluasi yang baik. Kegiatan dilaksanakan 2 hari (9 Agustus s/d 10 Agustus 2019) di Aula SMAN 1 Labuapi. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian meliputi koordinasi kegiatan, persiapan alat dan bahan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan dengan diawali pemberian materi oleh pemateri Dr. Akhmad Sukri, M.Pd mengenai cara pembuatan petunjuk praktikum yang baik dan dapat difahami oleh peserta didik, selanjutnya peserta diberikan tutorial/pelatihan atau simulasi praktikum berbasis digital, dengan tujuan peserta didik dapat melakukan praktikum setiap waktu dan dimana saja. Pada kegiatan pengabdian, peserta pelatihan sangat antusias mengikuti kegiatan hingga kegiatan selesai. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi sebanyak 88% peserta merasa puas terhadap kegiatan pelatihan dan 12% merasa tidak puas atas terselenggaranya pelatihan.

Abstract

This study aims to explore in more depth the potential values of character education contained in the traditional art of "Peresean" of the Sasak tribe in Lombok, with a focus on the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. The research approach used is qualitative research with ethnography methods. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects in this study are traditional leaders, community leaders and religious leaders in 6 traditional villages on Lombok Island. Data analysis using an interactive analysis model which consists of three activity flows that occur simultaneously, namely through data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions/verification. The results showed that the values of character education obtained from the competition were; 1) independence, 2) Faithful, fearful of God Almighty, and noble character, 3) Critical reasoning, 4) Mutual assistance, 5) Global diversity, and 6) Creativity. While the values of character education formed in awiq-awiq peresean are: 1) Independent, 2) Faith, fear of God Almighty, and noble morals, and 3) Critical reasoning.
